9 Months pregnant

One day, Nyx woke up with a sharp pain in her stomach. So she screamed, and her parents came up to her room.

"Nyx what's wrong?", asked Twilight

"I think the foal is coming", said Nyx

"We have to get you to the hospital quick", said Flash

Twilight called a chariot and they headed to the Canterlot hospital. A couple minutes later the mane 5, Cadence, Shining Armor, and The CMC showed up.

"Do you think Nyx will be ok?", asked Applebloom

"Im sure she'll be ok, sugarcube", assured Applejack

After a couple hours of labor, Nurse Sweetheart came out.

"Everypony, there's somepony Nyx wants you to meet", said Nurse Sweetheart

Everypony walked in and saw Nyx with a messy mane with tears in her eyes. She was holding a dark purple alicorn foal with a dark magenta mane.

"Everypony, I want you to meet my daughter Koriander", announced Nyx

"She's beautiful", said Flash

"Congrats Nyx", said Scootaloo

"Can I hold her?", asked Tootsie

"Sure", said Nyx handing her the foal

"Hi Kori, Im your Aunt Toosie Flute. Sure wish your daddy was here to see you", said Tootsie

Later that night, everypony left. Nyx was sleeping and Kori was next to her. Then Nightwing showed up.

"Hello Nyx", said Nightwing

"Nightwing, Im so glad your here", said Nyx hugging him

"Im glad to see you", said Nightwing

"Nightwing, what do you really look like?", asked Nyx

"If I show you, you might freak out", said Nightwing

"I won't, I promise", said Nyx

"Ok", said Nightwing

He removed his cloak. He was a dark blue pegasus with a black mane, but instead of pegasus wings, he had bat wings. Nightwing was a bat pony

"Yes, I am a bat pony. If your afraid of me, I understand", said Nightwing

Nyx stared at him and smiled.

"Your-Your not scared?", asked Nightwing

"No, Nightwing, one of my best friends is a bat pony, you are vegan right?", asked Nyx

"Of course", said Nightwing

"Then I guess it's ok if I do this", said Nyx

Suddenly, Nyx grabs Nightwing and kisses him.

"I-Im sorry. I don't know what came over me", apoligized Nyx blushing

"I've been waiting you to do that all month", said Nightwing smiling

"You mean you-", said Nyx

"Yes, I love you", said Nightwing

"I love you too", said Nyx

They kissed for a couple of minutes, then Kori started crying.

"Is that your daughter?", asked Nightwing

"Yup, you wanna hold her?", asked Nyx

"Sure", said Nightwing

Nyx picked up Kori and gave her to Nightwing.

"What's her name?", asked Nightwing

"Koriander", replied Nyx

"That's a beautiful name", said Nightwing nuzzling her

"It's Tamaranean for Star Fire", explained Nyx

Nyx was starting to have a good life. Not only does she have daughter. She also has her special somepony.

5 Years Later

Nyx raised Koriander and graduated high school. During those years she decided to marry her coltfriend Nightwing. Nightwing agrees to be Kori's father and they lived a happy family. Today, Kori was getting ready for the first day of school.

"Mom, do I really have to go to school?", asked Kori

"Yes sweetie, your education is really important", explained Nyx

"But Im scared", explained Nyx

"I know sweetie, but you'll make a bunch of new friends", explained Nightwing

"Promise?", asked Nyx

"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye", said Nightwing

"Ok, lets go", said Kori

All three of them flew to the Ponyville school and they were greeted by Cheerilee.

"Ok Kori we have to go", said Nyx

"Can't you stay a little longer?", asked Kori

"We wish, but we can't", said Nightwing

"Ok", said Kori putting her head down

"Hey, cheer up. We'll be here to pick you up after school. Then we'll go to Sugarcube Corner", assured Nightwing

"YAY", cheered Kori

Then the belle rang.

"Well I better go", said Kori

"Bye Kori, we love you", said Nyx hugging her

"Bye Mom, Bye Daddy, love you too", said Kori walking away

"They grow up so fast", said Nyx

"I know, right?", said Nightwing
