Day 11, they were awoken and escorted to the showers. It didn’t take long for them to clean each other, and then they were put back into the cage and given food.

Day 24, today was the day. Even though it was six days off from the usual time, they were nice and plump, and the cook was coming to pick them up at the end of the day. It was a day spent in the showers, being cleaned inside and out, until their coats shined perfectly and they walked with a pained expression. As they were locked back into their cage, Apple asked “So who yall think is gonna eat us?”

Rainbow replied with a shrug, as they lied down and tried to forget the pain all over. It wasn’t too long after that as the cleaning always takes quite some time to ensure perfect presentation that the chef came to pick them up. Rainbow and Apple got a sort of horrified expression when they saw Twilight on the other side of the cage. As the cage was opened they almost ran to their friend, but they knew that she wasn’t a friend anymore. She was just another paying customer, here to select her meat.

They did not realize though that Twilight pulled some strings due to her being a princess and all to ensure she would get them. She hated the horror stories she could remember hearing the last few years of ponies that would chop off limbs before cooking them, to cause as much pain as possible to the pony. She just wanted something simple and as painless as possible, roast pony. It was nice that included in the price and all that, was help getting them home.

To avoid potential problems and damage, they were put to sleep just like they had coming in. If they had been awake though, the sights would have kept them occupied more likely than not, as the dessert out here was something most people didn’t see. It was a frozen dessert. It was like Eqantrica, but not quite as far away. Of course you could get back to Ponyville faster, but they did need to sleep on the way. It would make Applejack even more horrified to know that the deed would take place at Sweet Apple Acres. The helpers put the cages in the barn, and left.
