Applejack wishes her parents were still alive to celebrate Hearth's Warming Eve with the remainder of her family members at Sweet Apple Acres and her Ponyville friends, but knowing the reality that it is not going to happen, Applejack's emotions towards this holiday are a bit negative and emotional. What makes her feel even worse is that her friends are out of town.

Can some sort of miracle occur so that Applejack no longer feels miserable towards Hearth's Warming; and if it does, will she learn a valuable lesson in friendship?
