Just as things seem to be settling down after the invasion of the Everfree Forest, darkness hovers over Equestria. Though seemingly unnoticed by any other pony, Twilight feels it strongly. It constantly haunts her by day, and torments her as she sleeps. Little does she know, she's the one harboring the darkness. It lurks within her mind, slowly eating away at her. Will she be able to keep her last shreds of sanity, or is it too late?
