“Hello Equestria” said Vinyl Scratch “and welcome to this new exciting episode of Big Brother, last time we saw Rainbow Dash, and Fleetfoot two contestants that looked rather strong coming into this game now set to take the walk out of the house, but before the dreaded eviction ceremony stands a ray of hope, the veto competition tonight, get ready for a very competitive veto competition tonight on Big Brother”

The camera switched over to the HOH room where Twilight was talking with Lyra.

“So I’m confused” said Lyra “who exactly are you trying to eliminate? Rainbow or Fleetfoot”

“With any luck” stated Twilight “Fleetfoot will be going home, she’s clearly manipulating Rainbow Dash, and I am not the kind of pony to let my friends be used”

“What exactly did she tell you that makes you so sure of this?” asked Lyra

“She wanted me to put up Applejack, and” Twilight leaned closer to whisper “Fluttershy”

“But why” said Lyra “why does Fleetfoot want Applejack gone so bad?”

“I don’t know” said Twilight “but I’ll have to ask Applejack at some point I guess”

“Well if you do figure it out” said Lyra on her way out the door “be sure to let me know”

The camera switches to the sitting room where Spitfire was sitting alone thinking, when Fleetfoot walked in through the door.

“Spitfire” said Fleetfoot “I”

“You nothing” said Spitfire cutting off Fleetfoot “you better hope you win the veto because I’m not going to save you, you lose and I will guarantee you’re eliminated tomorrow, you’ve proven yourself to reckless to be a useful part of this alliance”

Spitfire walked out of the room leaving a terrified looking Fleetfoot alone to ponder the possibilities tomorrow might bring.

“All contestants to the living room” said Vinyl over the speaker system “it’s time for the veto competition to begin”

All of the contestants gathered in the living room with Rainbow Dash, and Fleetfoot sitting in the red nominee chairs.

“Twilight” said Vinyl “pick two names out of that bowl to chose the other two contestants in today’s veto competition”

Twilight reached inside of the bowl and came out with two name keys.

“Fluttershy” said Twilight “you and Soarin will be competing with us”

“All right” said Vinyl “all five contestants competing in the veto competition head on over to the arena”

Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Fleetfoot, Twilight, and Soarin all entered the arena room to find a platform system similar to the first challenge of the season except there were only 5 platforms and the backdrop was covered in red dots on a white background.

“Here’s the goal of the game” said Vinyl “each platform has a ball dispenser on it, you’re goal is to knock each other off your platforms last contestant standing wins, also no wings allowed, wouldn’t be fair you see”

Each contestant got situated on a platform and waited for the competition to start.

“Here we go” said Vinyl “competition begins in three, two ,one”

Almost immediately the room filled with dodge balls flying every which way, some of them ricocheting off the walls and coming dangerously close to hitting other contestants.

Rainbow Dash sat a ball down and bucked it with all the force she could muster and accidentally sent it directly at Fluttershy instead of her target Fleetfoot, Fluttershy took the hit directly in the face and plummeted from her pedestal, but before she could hit the floor she was caught by a blurred shape the slowed down into the obvious light blue Pegasus Soarin.

“Are you ok?” asked Soarin in a oddly worried tone “Fluttershy”

“Oh thank you” said Fluttershy “thank you for catching me”

“Well how could I let such a beautiful Pegasus fall to the ground” said Soarin awkwardly “uh so you are ok right?”

“Of course I am” said Fluttershy “thanks to you”

Soarin’s light blue face turned red with embarrassment as he sat fluttershy down and walked over to the bench for eliminated contestants with Fluttershy right behind him.

The fight for veto only intensified with the eliminations of Soarin and Fluttershy with the majority of the attack seemingly focused on Fleetfoot.

Rainbow Dash sat another ball down on the pedestal and sent it hurtling toward Fleetfoot who ducked at just the right moment for the ball to fly a few inches over her head and bounce back knocking an unsuspecting Rainbow Dash out of the contest.

Rainbow Dash got up off the ground and slowly, head held low, walked herself over to the bench.

Fleetfoot stared directly at the purple unicorn who was the only thing standing between her and guaranteed safety and smiled at how close she was to victory but Twilight was already preparing for another launch and bucked her dodge ball harder than she had ever bucked anything before sending the thing on a crazy ricocheting spree all over the room eventually meeting with the smile that so gladly accepted it changing it in an instant to a look of complete and utter hopelessness.

“Congratulations Twilight Sparkle” said Vinyl “you have won the power of veto”

“I won” said Twilight unbelievingly “I won! I can’t believe it but I won”

“Congratulations Twilight” said Rainbow Dash “you deserve it”

“Yeah good job” said Fluttershy

The camera switches over to Vinyl Scratch over in the studio next door sitting on a stool on stage in front of about 200 ponies.

“There you have it Equestria” said Vinyl “Twilight has won the power of veto, but will she use it to change her choices of nominees, and will we see more of Fluttershy and Soarin, find out next time tomorrow on the second eviction episode of Big Brother, goodnight Equestria.

The episode ends with Twilight, Rarity, and Lyra heading up to the HOH room followed by Rainbow Dash, and Soarin Following Spitfire to the sitting room with Fluttershy on his heels.
