Awaking

All Twilight felt was pain.A sharp wet pain that wrapped tightly around her stomach not letting her move or scream.Even though it ached Twilight tried to move but before she could a voice suddenly spoke inside her head as if to keep her from moving.

"What had happened again?" asked the voice in Twilight's head a buzzing sound also appearing every time it spoke

"t-t-t-t-th-those "creatures" had gotten into my house" Twilight replied saying the words in her head rather than speaking aloud,the voice was probably part of her imagination.

"it was all very sudden,first the one appeared pretending to be Applejack".

"Even though she didn't say anything i still let her into my house,from there she transformed into "its" true form"

"yes and how..............did it or you react?" the voice buzzed again in its usual high pitched buzz,almost trying to keep Twilight occupied.

"Then it attacked me trying to...........kill......me....... or at least hold me at best,we tried to hold them off,well me and Spike"

"Yes I'm afraid that's what many chrysalis changeling's do....." the voice spoke again almost saddened.

"anything else?"

" well when they knocked out spike i knew that i couldn't fight them alone so i ran to Fluttershy's house asking her and rainbow if they could help me......."

"while they where following you?"

"yes........we then grouped the others and we fought off all that we could,........like in Canterlot". Just as Twilight thought this she felt a small tingly feeling where the pain was ,receding the pain a bit,reacting to this Twilight opened her eyes but only saw blackness.

"Sorry about that darling" the voice inside her head went on in its usual slight buzzing noise

"I'm not aloud to reveal my identity just yet"

"Your not just a voice in my head are you?" Twilight replied,shaking there was only one creature she knew could use telepathic waves like this.

"But please still go on, did you somehow escape......?"

"of course not!" Twilight replied somewhat angrily

"or I wouldn't even be here".

Twilight moved her hoof a bit to try and get up but the pain was still a little to much to bare to actually accomplish mobility,

instead her hoof moved slightly forward but stopped when it touched a sticky fresh oozing substance where she lay.

"actually you did escape" The voice buzzed stiffly

"you probably wouldn't remember.......you tried to fly out,however you where so dizzy from passing out and because you don't have much skill in flying......."  the voice trailed off.

"I what?" asked Twilight scared yet curious

"You fell..............and into the Everfree forest no less...." .

Before Twilight could react she heard a magical klink sound and the lamps on the cobble walls turned on revealing a small black changeling with shimmering orange eyes. On its head lay a gold tiara with a red mane, complete with orange wings and white straps around its waist.

"We found you,and lay you hear where you gained consciousness while i healed you with a healing spell".

Twilight looked from the changeling back to her hoof to see it was covered in a deep red substance.it was blood.

"I would get up now if i where you" buzzed the changeling "My spells finished so don't worry you won't feel any pain".

As Twilight did this the changeling moved closer from her seat levitated some bandages and wrapped them  across Twilight's waist stopping the small rivers of blood that where still coming out.Looking into the mirror Twilight saw that other than the large cut and a cracked horn her front hoof was bleeding slightly,

"W-h-why did you do this to me?" The lavender alicorn was able to chock up

"and what gave you the slightest idea that we did this to you?".

"Then who did!" growled the alicorn folding her wings out aggressively

"The Changeling hive from the east,,we have had you could say a slight disagreement lately".

But You can ask questions later for now,come with me...... " not sure what else to do in this situation Twilight followed the changeling out of the hospital like room and into a large black cobble hallway.The hallway was bustled with changelings all going about there somewhat daily duties yet bowing at the entrance of her and the lavender pony.

"Your mother would have wanted this" chuckled the changeling looking back at Twilight

"Wha-"

"I thought i told you not to ask questions" Groaned the changeling

"I'll can answer most of them for you just by guessing anyway".

"Now here are some basic rules princess......"

Twilight was confused,why had her captor call her princess?.

"Rule one" the changeling started

"rule one would normally be "address me as princess Christine Metamorphosis" but because your in the royal family you can just call me Christine".

"Rule two,after your transformation for tradition you can resume your normal life,however, you can be called upon at any time for royal duties.The last rule is that you can never reveal your identity as a changeling"

"CHANGELING?" the lavender pony cried confused as they reached another hallway

"Not just any changeling!" chuckled Christine "your princess Twilight sparkle and first in line of the throne for the Metachandarous hive".

Twilight couldn't even speak though there where over a thousand questions in her head.

"this must be a big shock to you......." The black changeling buzzed as they entered a large sleeping quarters,covered in golden thread rugs,tapestry's and a large bed at the side.

"OK" chuckled Christine looking existed

"now you can ask questions"

But the lavender alicorn just sat on the bed,staring into space,not saying a word.

"Well i guess I'll start" Christine buzzed

"If your wondering who i am more I'm your older half-sister so I'm not in line for the throne like you!".

"I-I-I'm a changeling?,but that doesn't make sense my parents where unicorns i even have a older brother!"

"Yes,but when you where born we had to hide you with some other ponies when your mother died because most of the royal family didn't know what to do with you".

"your mother wanted another child so we used a powerful spell to implant your mind into her womb luckily they where trying for another foal at the time,then she gave birth to you!".

"then why was I foal-napped?"

"we would have told you this later but the Metamorphosis hive in the east wanted to kill you so we wouldn't have another pony in line for the throne and we would have to give up on our war".

"war?"

"yes I'm afraid they want our hive so they can expand there military bases and try to take over all of Equestria!".

"saying this, your crowning  will be in a week and you can help us protect Equestria!"

"but i have to get back to Ponyville! I'm the element of magic,my friends are going to worry about me and aren't changelings evil don't you want to take over Equestria too?".

"NO!" The small changeling chuckled again fluttering her wings

"only the hives that live in the east are evil we just want peace!".

Twilight stared at her new found sister surprised after the incident in canterlot she really thought all changelings where evil.

"Now i have to leave for some urgent duties" said Christine and with that she shut the diamond tinted door leaving twilight sitting there on the bed.Before long Twilight just laid down on the bed and fell asleep.

"Are you sure changelings took off with her?" asked Celestia to her sister as they both looked over the Everfree forest where the desert was and where the changelings lived

"Yes" replied Luna looking down to her hoofs

"the other elements tried to help but it was no use,they took of with her into the desert.

"We must get her back!" cried Celestia,spreading out her wings

"all changelings are evil and there's no telling what they could do to her"..........
