It is Hearth's Warming Eve, one of the most wonderful times of the year in Equestria. The House of Pony does their best to celebrate this wonderful holiday of unity and friendship for all of pony kind (and anything else in between). So Twilight Sparkle and her friends make sure to hold a 5 to 8 show during the seasons at the House of Pony ever year. That way, it would be simple for the shows, have fun with the guests especially the villains, serve food and make sure that they get their dose of cartoons.

It looks like it's going to be another House of Pony holiday...that is until one evening...

The audience is applauding excitedly. Twilight is about to wrap up another story before they leave to spend their holidays at their own homes. The purple alicorn smiles to the audience saying, "Well folks, that's our show! Thanks again for spending Hearth's Warming Eve here at the House of Pony! We wish you all a great holiday and a safe trip home. See ya soon!"

The audience applauds as the spotlight is off Twilight. The mare smiles as she goes to the backstage area. Ben, Spike, Nyx, Phobos, and even the Snotty Duo and Maxin were preparing to leave.

"Hey, thanks for the decorations and the special act, Diamond Tiara." Twilight said with a smile. Even if Diamond Tiara has cause trouble for the ponies and try to shut down the House of Pony many times before, at least she did all right for the day.

"Yeah, who knew you could be nice for once?" Nyx ask Diamond Tiara with a smirk.

"Don't get me wrong, I am still my bullying blank flank disliking self but Silver Spoon insisted on it." Diamond Tiara explains to Nyx with a shrug. "It gives me something to do on Hearth's Warming Eve."

"Plus, Nyx's mother and her friends did show you that ponies can be nice on with the Hearth's Warming Eve activities as well as showing you how complicated running a show can be, Diamond." Silver Spoon comments to Diamond Tiara, making her friend frown a bit.

"Yeah, okay, there's that."

"Well, at least it's a good Hearth's Warming Eve show once more." Twilight said with a smile on her face.

"Right, at least now I can relax and have a great celebration back home." Spike said with a smile.

"Yeah, well, time for us to get going." Ben chuckles as he check the time. "We got some time left before we can go home for Hearth's Warming Eve..."

"Ponies, we got a problem!" Pinkie exclaims frantically while rushing into the backstage area. "No pony or body can go home!"

"Huh? What do you mean?" Twilight ask Pinkie in confusion.

Twilight's group quickly head to the front doors as they see all of the guests standing around in worry. The purple mare turns to a worried Rarity while asking, "Rarity, what's going on?"

"We are snowed in!" Rarity exclaims in concern to Twilight.

"Oh yeah, a fine predicament, how terrible," Rainbow remarks dryly while rolling her eyes. Apparently, she doesn't seem to care what is going on right now.

"Awww, the snow isn't that bad about there! See?" Phobos remark as he walks over to the door and look outside. "YIKES! I spoke too soon!"

Sure enough there is a lot of snow, all over the place, blocking. Fluttershy gasps, "Oh my, oh my! I think the Wendigos are back!"

"That's crazy, Fluttershy." Soarin' exclaims to Fluttershy with a frown. "Those freaks hadn't been seen in generations."

"Wait, hang on, I remember something. There was a snow storm scheduled...but it wasn't supposed to be scheduled for today!" Golden Heart exclaims in realization.

"Diamond, what did yew do?" Apple Bloom demands suspiciously to Diamond Tiara as if this is one of her schemes.

"Oh sure, blame me for everything that goes wrong at this dump!" Diamond Tiara scowls in annoyance at Phobos for the accusation. "Anyway, if I wanted to snow everypony in here, I would do it from outside, not inside where I end up getting trapped in!"

"She's right; Diamond Tiara wouldn't be foolish to do that." Silver Spoon said with a sigh. "Anyway, you think we would want to do something bad to the House of Pony on Hearth's Warming Eve?"

"No worries, we will use magic to melt the snow and get out of here." Twilight said thoughtfully as she prepares to use her magic as did some of the unicorns, villains and those who uses magic. But to everyone's shock and surprise, nothing appears to be working. Only fizzling noises are heard. "What the hay?"

"My Triforce powers aren't working either!" Ben exclaims as he tries to use his Triforce powers to no prevail. "What about you bad guys?"

"Nothing's working!" Chrysalis snarls as she tries to blast her way out but to no prevail. "My magic is gone!"

The audience begins mumbling in worry and concern. Spike yelps a bit as if he's getting sick. Garble the Dragon groans in disgust, "Awww, sick! If you wanna throw up, baby Dragon, do it in the bathroom!"

Just then Spike burps out a flame, sending out a scroll of some kind. As everyone watches, Twilight gasps, "It's a message from the princess!"

Spike takes the scroll and opens it. He begins to read, "'To my faithful student and niece-in-law/daughter in law Twilight Sparkle, as you are aware, there is a huge snow blizzard in Ponyville. That's because due to a mix-up, the snow storm that was scheduled ended up being on the day before Hearth's Warming Eve.'"

"Oh, great! Leave it to the Pegasi to mess things up, dudes." Gilda remarks in disgust, making the Pegasus ponies annoyed.

"'Unfortunately, the crews that I normally send to clear the mess has gone home for Hearth's Warming Eve and won't go back to work until the day after. Also, you are well aware that your magic isn't working. That's because at the same time as the snow storm, a magical comet is passing over Equestria, causing every pony, magical beings and even villains to lose their magical powers. I have to use my own magic before then to make a shield so I could send this message to you. The effects of the comet will last until morning.'"

"What?" Galaxy gasps in shock along with her friends from Ponyland. That means that no one who uses magic can use their powers until morning...or even escape at all!

"'I advised everyone who is snowed in to stay inside the buildings until morning. I apologize for the trouble. I will do everything I can to get this mess fixed. Princess Celestia'," Spike said as he finish reading the message from Princess Celestia.

Everyone looks worried, mumbling a bit in worry. Lorcan turns to Princess Luna while asking, "Luna, did you hear that? We can't go home."

"Shucks, we can build a new home!" Braeburn suggests, trying to keep up a positive attitude.

"Nnope, where does that get us?" Big Macintosh asks in concern, making the other guests more worried.

"Calm down, everypony, I will try to think on this." Twilight said as she sat down, pausing to think. What now? No one can leave due to the snow storm and no one can use magic or flight to escape at all.

The audience begins whispering in hope that Twilight may find a solution. Flash Sentry whispers, "Perhaps Twilight Sparkle is thinking of something. She always finds a way out of messes."

Twilight pauses and look out a window then looks around at the club. The show was finished up, she doesn't know how to keep it running...but maybe...the princess smiles eagerly. Perhaps Twilight knows of a way to keep everyone occupied until morning; which means...

"I got it! Everyone, listen up! I got bad news and good news. The bad news is that, sadly, we are stuck here until Hearth's Warming Eve morning." Twilight explains to everyone, making some of them, even the bad guys look down. "However...you all should have your magic back by then and go home. But let's not think negative, but rather positive! Everyone, I want you all to have a great Hearth's Warming Eve and, by the Mag'ne's name, you all will have one! That is why, as of now, we are holding our first annual House of Pony Hearth's Warming Eve Sleepover!"

Everyone is surprised. A concerned Cheerilee spoke up, "Uh, would this be like the sleepover you had one time with Applejack and Rarity?"

"Yes, but different! It will be a combination of a sleepover and a Hearth's Warming Eve! Yeah, yeah, it's a thought on the spot, but I figure, what else can we do, right? Also, you're asking 'what about our families? We're snowed in, so how the hay are we supposed to go home to see them'? I will say this, don't worry! You all got family right here, all of us!"

"Even the bad guys?" Nyx ask her mother in surprise as she glances at some of the guests who are bad guys or bullies, especially the ones from Gen 1.

"Yes, they may be bad guys, but to be honest, they are family to every one of us!" Twilight explains with a smile. Everyone gave looks of bewilderment and confusion at her...then applaud eagerly. What a great idea! This will keep them busy and make up for not leaving for their own holidays! "All right, everypony, if everyone can return to their seats, we will start our Hearth's Warming Eve Sleepover, free of charge!"

The guests cheer as they return to their seats. As the sleepover start, we see Pinkamena and Golden Heart along with Gold Wing at the spot as Golden Heart says, "This Hearth's Warming Eve Sleepover at the House of Pony will be good."

Pinkamena nods while saying, "Yep especially since we are trapped here right now due to a huge snow storm blocking the way out."

"Ok but let's just watch the show."

Pinkamena nods as she and Golden Heart and Gold Wing watch on. Ben smiles while saying, "What a great idea, Twilight! Now I know why you're a princess!"

"Oh boy, oh boy! I am soooooo nervictied!" Pinkie giggles happily, ignoring the angry look on Rainbow's face.

"Yew do know 'dat's not a real word, right?" Applejack asks Pinkie dryly.

"Also, I always wanted Dashie for a sister!"

"Well, not what I mean but..." Twilight begins to say, but an angry familiar voice interrupts the mare.

"Bah! Humbug!" Rainbow scowls angrily as she turns away from her pals, crossing her upper forearms, much to the surprise of her friends.

"Huh? 'Bah, humbug'?" Phobos asks confused. "What, you're quoting Rarity from her role in the fanmake of 'Mickey's Christmas Carol' now?"

"Yeah, what gives Auntie Dashie?" Nyx ask Rainbow in concern. "I thought you like Hearth's Warming Eve."

Brave Heart sighs a bit while explaining, "Lads, lasses, ye all must understand. Me cousin Rainbow hasn't have te spirit since she lost her real father years ago. Rainbow sure seems te like te holidays...but over time, she became a real grump without real familt te spend Hearth's Warming Eve with, well, besides me and me own family that is. Her adopted father, Timothy Tyler, cannot make it."

"But she got Scootaloo, shouldn't that count as family?" Fluttershy ask Brave Heart in concern.

"Aye, but it will take more than Scoots 'te gives me cousin her Hearth's Warming Eve spirit back."

"Well, as a true friend of Rainbow Dash, I won't rest until we will change Rainbow's sour attitude and get her Hearth's Warming Eve spirit back to make up for all those lonely nights at home." Twilight said in determination. The mare cannot bear to see her good friend Rainbow act like a Scrooge anymore.

"I sure hope you're right." Soarin' sighs, hoping that tonight, maybe Rainbow won't feel grumpy about Hearth's Warming Eve anymore.
