Chapter Zero: The start.

[I'm getting the hang of things. Just blatantly going all "you have terrible writing skills" wont help me fix it. Try constructively criticizing (aaaaa) me instead. Or just do that. I'm sorry if I sounded a bit demanding there, but I don't knowwwwww]

A pegasus pony flies past a cloud, mane having all the colors of the rainbow and the cutiemark being a white cloud firing off a lightning with the colors of the rainbow. "Hurry up or you're not gonna win!" Yelled that same pony, cruising at a great speed. He was apparently being chased by a different pegasus pony. "I'm gonna catch up to you soon Rainbow Dash!" Yelled that pony who was chasing the cyan pegasus pony, apparently having the name Rainbow Dash. The pony chasing Rainbow Dash was colored light green, wings being the color of a sapphire blue, the mane is colored of a cloud white and the cutiemark being a cloud being lassoed. The wings were an accident with permanent paint, says the pony.

The race was getting intense, with both the ponies reaching a very intense speed. One of them would wear out soon, but neither of them looked like that all. They both wanted to win bad, but only one could end up at the finishing line. The loser would HAVE to buy the MOST expensivest, fanciest thing on the Sugarcube corner's menu. For a minute, the unknown pegasus pony appeared to be winning but a cyan colored blur zoomed past the pegasus and hit the finishing line. Unfortunately during this dash Rainbow must have given the pony a good push because he went off course at an extreme speed. Rainbow Dash noticed this and tried to save the pony, knowing she would get an amazing dessert. But the speed was too fast and Rainbow could not catch up. Soon, the pony was out of sights and crashing into a small settlement, inhabited by earth ponies.

After the crash, the pegasus pony spent quite a long time in the nursery.

Once the pony woke up, he had no memory of how he got here. He was greeted by an unknown face, it belonging to the nurse. "Calm down now, you hear? Don't want to get more injuries." Quietly said the nurse with a blurry face. He couldn't see very well, and fainted quickly after that.

After that fainting, he was asleep for a quite long time.

The pegasus was in a white room. He was hooked up to a heartbeat monitor. The white room had a bed and a chair. He was in the bed. The bed was comfortable, and the pegasus did not want to leave the bed at all. It was very comfortable, like a cloud..

"I think he's waking up.." a voice said, reminding of the nurse with a blurry face. "Wha..how..how did I get here.." Muttered the pegasus pony, getting his eyelids open after a heavy sleep. "Oh, you're awake!" Said a doctor, with a white coat similar to the coat worn by the other nurse. "I think I'm seeing in double.." said the pegasus, with a bit of trouble seeing. "Well, of course! You slept for about an entire day and 10 hours!" Said the other doctor with a teeny bit of excitement. "Where am I?" said the pegasus pony with a puzzled face. "Well, you're in our little settlement called "Slice of Heaven." Said the doctor, with a hint of pride. "Wait..what's my name?" said the pegasus pony with the same clueless face from the first question.. "That's what we were wondering, too." Exclaimed the nurse, shortly pausing and continuing to say "But since you have a cutiemark about lassoing clouds I think we're gonna call you Cloud Cowboy." Clearly, not the most imaginative name. What do you want from meee?

"But you should check with the mayor. I think he'd like to know that the first pegasus visitor in a long time has waken up!" Said the doctor with some excitement. "We live far from other popular towns, but some occasional adventurers from them cities wander in here. They never stay long." Says the nurse with a hint of depression. "Where's the mayor then?" Asked the pegasus, thinking about just going there and asking how he got here.

The pegasus, now being referred by the lazily crafted name Cloud Cowboy (SHUT UP) went off to find the mayor of the town, but remembered that he had some bits on him.

"The ground was..sand. This was in a desert. How do they farm things required for the food?" Cloud thought to himself.
He noticed a little store with a sign upfront that reads "Snack and Coffee Corner". "Wait..this reminds me of something.." He said as he suddenly remembered Sugarcube Corner along with Mr, and Mrs. Cake. "Wow, that place had amazing desserts..why do I remember it?" He thought to himself, as he walked over there looking at the prices. "Why hello there! Weren't you the pegasus who crashed into our small settlement?" Noted a voice behind the register. "Um..yes?" said Cloud with a dash of shyness. "Oh, you are? Welcome to my store! Have a free cup of coffee to refresh you after eating ALL that hospital food!" Said the earth pony behind the cashier,. The mane was just..a mix of coffee brown and cake frosting, the white kind. The color of her body was a rather odd color, it being light blue and light green. "Wait, how'd you.." Cloud says, noticing that the earth pony was using magic. "Well, I don't honestly know..I just know I can use small magic. Sorta like a hoof-full of magic, huh?" Said the earth pony behind the cashier with a smile. "Either I banged my head a bit too hard, or this is true." Cloud thought to himself, enjoying his coffee.

Chapter One: The Mayor.

After Cloud had drank the coffee, he was heading off to the place with a big sign up front that reads "Mayor's Office". He did some searching and some people gave him odd glances. He felt..unwelcome. Then, he found the office. He entered it and the guard noticed that Cloud was the pegasus who crashed into town and let him meet the mayor. "Welcome to "Slice of Heaven!" I'm the mayor!" Exclaimed the mayor, with a hint of ego. "Um, yeah..whatever..just can you tell me how do I get back home? Or where my home even is?" said Cloud, ignoring what the mayor just said. The mayor, with her mane being of a "LOOK AT ME" color, a light green. The color of her fur was a boring first person shooter brown. The mayors cutiemark was a pamphlet. Probably a great deal maker.

"Well, you "flew" from the direction where most adventurers come from." Said the mayor, expressing mild discomfort. "Goody. I can get home. Which direction is it?" Cloud said, with a slight smile. "Actually, you should get some packages. You can't survive a walk that long. The ponies here always greet a visitor kindly." the mayor said with a grin. "I guess I should get some things done..but I don't have that many bits.." noted Cloud. "Couldn't you stay here for a while? We could host a party for your arrival!" The mayor exclaimed with a hint of excitement. "A party? Gee..I guess I can.." Cloud said, unsure of the nature of this idea.

While the mayor is setting things up, Cloud Cowboy checks out the town itself.

"Wow, parties..wait. Wasn't there a pony who used to throw all kinds of parties in a different settlement? Oh, that's right! Party Pie..wait..Pinkie Pie. That's it." Thought Cloud to himself, remembering a specific pony. "But wait..I didn't go there from the high place..on the clouds..Wow. I'm remembering things.." Cloud thought to himself, letting out a small smile to his discovery. "Hey, you!" Said a familiar voice from behind. "I figure I should introduce myself. I'm the first one who noticed that you had crashed into town. My name's Jonathan." said Jonathan, the cashier from Snack and Coffee Corner. "Oh, that's an odd name..not to be insulting or anything." Cloud noted, with Jonathan giving a slight chuckle. "I know, I know. My parents couldn't come up with a name so they just threw a bunch of random names in a hat and picked one at random. Not the brightest I'd say." Jonathan said with a bit of a chuckle remembering that funny event. "Heh..I can't remember a thing." Cloud chuckled after saying this. "I would be surprised if you even remember how to fly." Jonathan said, noting the pair of wings on Cloud. "Oh yeah, those..Wait..I think I remember something.." Cloud said, pausing to put a hoof on his head to imply that he is THINKING. "I was racing another pegasus..a cyan one..I got pushed with a lot of force and I went off course.." Jonathan was surprised. "Wow, must have been a very strong push." Jonathan said, raising an eyebrow (Do ponies even have eyebrows or..I'll shut up.) and thinking about what that cyan pegasus wanted from him.
