Dazzle Drive, a filly just past her sixth year, has always lived her life merrily with her parents in the lower quarter of Canterlot. One night, she discovers a mysterious stone in her back yard covered in unintelligible characters and, following dark events she could have never prepared for, learns of its secrets from an ancient entity.

Joined only by her best friend, Orange Blossom, Dazzle must cope with the changes brought about by her discovery and the events of the world while discovering where she truly belongs.
