It was a peaceful time in Equestria, with all ponies lined up for the annual "Night of the flames" Celebration. Twilight, Appledash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie, were all very honored guests, as indicated by their front seats. Twilight, with Spike on her back, sat in a chair by Rainbow Dash. She had a feeling something big was about to happen, but it didn't seem like a big deal. So she reluctantly shrugged off the thought. The show had just begun!

Flames flew all throughout the stage, as Pinkie Pie screamed "YAY! WOOH!" , After every single time a pony threw a flaming stick in the air and caught it. But Rarity was busy admiring the performers outfits, then to bother to watch the show. Rainbow Dash was observing how fast the ponies twirled the blazing rods! While Twilight and Appledash were gazing at the pure show, Fluttershy was emotionless. She had not even moved since the show had begun. Twilight seemed to notice that now, for she was calling Fluttershy's name. Fluttershy responded with a barely audible "Hm?". Twilight thought to herself, okay...she's still acting the same, but why does she look so gray? But she had no time to think because she saw a dragon appear on the stage. But this was no ordinary dragon looking creature. It was DISQORD!

With no warning a flaming javelin appeared in Disqord's hands. By this time, everyone had evacuated the arena. Except for Twilight and her friends. They were huddling down thinking of a plan, to stop Disqord. He hurled the scorching javelin in their direction. But Apple Jack saw it, and it was coming right at her. She had tried to dodge out of the way but was held down by some powerful unrelenting force. She looked up to see what, and it was FlutterShy. She barely had the time to mouth 'Why?' before she was impaled by the javelin. Twilight saw it, Pinkie Pie saw it, and the rest of the group did. Murder. And the murder assistant?...Fluttershy

"YES!", Disqord yelled, and clapped vigorously, as he saw what his student had done. As the group huddled around the limp body of Apple Jack, Fluttershy flew away, to Disqord. As the others were sobbing repeatively, Twilight found the courage to weakly say "But how did you escape the curse?". Disqord replied "thanks to your friend here, nodding to FlutterShy, I was able to break through the barrier a lot easier than expected." "But what did she do?", asked Twilight. "She loosened the curse by stealing the elements and bringing them to the Pillar of Doom.", replied Disqord, obviously enjoying his moment. "Pillar of Doom?", asked Twilight, hoping to find a ray of hope hidden deep down. "Oh bother.I've said too much, way too much." Suddenly, Twilight saw the 'Fluttershy' disappear.It was replaced with the Body of Nightmare Moon.

"Greetings Twilight!", said Nightmare Moon, in her usual Evil tone. "It seems they've fallen for the trap Disqord." "Trap?", thought Twilight. "You see Twilight, Fluttershy has been acting weird all this time because...well..I poisoned her for life the first time we met.", said Disqord. "She has been in my service for quite awhile, actually. "I see Disqord, you were always known for your tricks", said Rainbow Dash. "Oh really?, My my", said Disqord. After he finished the last words of that sentence, Rainbow Dash charged, with all of her strength.

But Rainbow Dash was blasted aside, by Nightmare Moon's fully charged lightning strike. Rainbow Dash was fatally wounded, possibly dead. But it was enough for Pinkie Pie, as she was already heavily damaged from Apple Jack's death. But no, this was a new side of Pinkie Pie. A side that only one with complete happiness could access. And that form was, Aurora.
