I originally wrote this fic in only a few hours, for a prompt on a DeviantArt group. It wasn't very good, but I wanted to do the idea justice, so I revised it. All told, I nearly doubled the word count and changed a bunch of things. Hopefully, for the better.

Anyway, I reformatted it the way I did (new chapter, old chapter becoming this foreword) because I wanted people to see it on the front page and experience the story as I meant to tell it. Sorry if that seems like attention whoring - I assure, you it is not meant to be.
