The mares and princess turn away and shield their eyes as the blue hedgehog is consumed by a blinding light. The group begins frantically searching the area once their vision is returned; only to cringe as a pair of red eye can be seen as they pierce a thick fog that has filled the large room. Everyone freezes in place as a deep cackle breaks the silence. A streak of vibrant yellow rises from the mist and then towards the sun princess; plowing into her at full force.

Celestia's armored hooves scrap against the tiled floor as she's pushed back by the sudden strike. A large gold shield (abruptly cast) being the only thing stopping the crazed hedgehog. A menacing laugh comes from the yellow creature as he continues his onslaught on the princess.
Luna fires a beam of magic at her sister’s attacker. In an attempt to draw it's attention. Only to miss, as the creature flips out of the way and disappears in mid air. Only to suddenly reappears in front of the Princess of the Night, with a sadistic expression.
"What's wrong, worried that you're sister will have all the fun?" He mocks in a distorted voice.

The monster is suddenly struck in the side with a bean if yellow magic and sent flying into the doors that once held the elements; destroying them on impact.
"Are you OK, Luna?" A concerned Celestia asks as she flies to her sister’s side.
"I'm fine, dear sister. We were just caught off guard."
A menacing laugh echoes across the stone halls, causing the princesses blood to go cold. A gloved hand emerges from the now shattered doorway and grabs onto the frame. "And here I was worried that this wasn't going to be fun." The hedgehog mocks before breaking into another fit of laughter.

Luna and Celestia exchange nervous looks. "Sister, this is going to harder than we thought."
The sun princess nods and draws her attention to the crazed creature in front of her. Emerging from the new opening, the yellow hedgehog slams his fist into a nearby pillar; resulting in several large cracks jutting towards the top and starts crumble at it gives under its own weight.
"Who’s next?" The creature becks, as he motions the two alicorns to approach him.

Celestia takes flight and lands a few feet from the yellow hedgehog. "For the sake of my people and country, I shall be your opponent!"
The hedgehog lets out another chuckle "Save the speeches for the blind followers."
The sun princess scowls at the remark and begins to channel yellow magic into her horn.
"This foolishness ends here." She adds firing a blast of energy at the unsuspecting hedgehog and appears to strike. However, it's stopped mid flight as two twin laser beams burst from the hedgehog's eyes and stops the magic blast from reaching its target.

Luna stares in shock as her sisters powerful strike is halted and cringes as it starts to be over powered. The yellow hedgehog grins as lets out another manic laugh as he begins to push the princess’s magic back.
"That trick won't work on me twice." He mocks as he increases the lasers’ strength, which causes the princess of the sun's knees to start buckling. "So, this is the ‘great power’ that rules a kingdom? What a joke." He mocks again, letting out another crazed laugh.

Something of tremendous power flies towards the yellow hedgehog forcing him to break off his attack and dodge out of its path. Colors of red, yellow, green, orange, and purple strike the spot he once stood and scatters as they make contact with the floor. Leaving a large crater where it struck. Twilight lets out a loud grown as her legs buckle and falls to the ground, wit het mane 6 following suit.

The crazed hedgehog glances at the spot the beam hit, turns towards the mane 6, and then back at the floor again. Only to cackle like a banshee as he lunges at the now exhausted mares.
"It looks like you missed!" The hedgehog mocks as he extends a set of red claws from his finger tips and prepares to strike the closest of the 6 ponies; which happens to be Twilight. The lavender mare lets out a yelp and summons a shield just before the crazed hedgehog can close the gap; negating his attack. Though that doesn't that doesn't stop him from furiously swiping at the pony's defensive bubble. Letting out another crazed laugh as cracks begins to form. "What's wrong little horsey? Are you all out of power?" The super charged hedgehog mocks as he continues to viciously claw at the shield.

With one mighty strike, Twilight's barrier pops like a bubble; no longer protecting her from the crazed hedgehog’s onslaught. As he raise his hand for the final blow, the hedgehog is struck with a beam magic consisting of both yellow and blue and sent smashing through one of the stain glassed window and presumably to the ground below. The mane six let out a collective gasp and turn towards the direction they came from.

Both horns of the alicorns sisters still smolder as they stand firm and alert; ready for another strike. A few of the mare appear mortified by the princess's action. Prompting Celestia to let out a sigh and drop her head. "Please forgive me. I know that he was your friend…."
“… that the last thing we wanted to do." Luna adds bearing a similar expression as her sister’s

Pinkie Pie slowly trots toward the broken window and attempt to look at the ground below. Only to let out a yelp and fall back on her haunches. The other five abruptly turn towards the mare in response and pear at what's behind the pink party pony in a mix of fear and horror.

An unfazed crazed yellow hedgehog hovers on the other side of the now busted window with his usual twisted expression.
"So, that was all you had?" He mocks with a cocky snort, "How pathetic."
The two princesses prepare for another attach, but cringe in horror as the crazed hedgehog disappears before their eyes. Appear only inches in front of the sun princess and delivers a devastating sweep kick to the side of her face; sending her smashing into a nearby wall. Luna attempt to fight back, but too struck instantly. Though this time by an ax kick to the top of the head and slammed into the group.

The crazed hedgehog lets out a manic laugh and raises his arms in triumph. "The powers of the sun and moon are no match for..." He cuts off his rant as he notices Celestia attempt to rise to her hooves. A twisted grin appears on the hedgehog’s face as he approaches the downed alicorn and grabs a handful of her magically flowing tail and proceeds to drag her across the title floor.
“That’s it!” Rainbow Dash begins as she unfolds her wings and takes fight. Only to be pulled abruptly back to the ground as something grabs her tail. The cyan mare looks back and sees Applejack standing behind her with a mouth full of tail.
“What are you doing? Let go!” The cyan mare demands as she sates daggers at the wheat colored mare.
Apple jack spits out a mouth full of tail before responding. “Have you lost your darn mind?”
“We have to do something!” Rainbow Dash fires back. “We can’t just stand here!”
“And what exactly do you plan on doing?” Applejack retorts.
“I don’t know…”
“Dash, we weren't able to take this thing out when it was half alive and bleedin' out. What makes ya think we can do anything now?”

A loud screech is herd as the princess of the sun is pulled along the title floor and then dropped next to her younger sister.
"It's been real, it's been fun, but it hasn't been real fun." The hedgehog mocks as he turns his attention to Luna while raising his right arms and begins to channel energy into it.
"Let this be a lesson not too..." A large shadow casts across the floor and stops the hedgehog mid-sentence. Prompting him to turn and investigate the source.

A multicolored tail crosses the crazed hedgehog's line of sigh. Just as the sun princess raises her rear legs and prepares to strike.

“Oh shi-!”

Kicking out her rear legs with tremendous force, Celestia drives two armored rear hooves into the crazed hedgehog's face as she bucks him with all her might; sending the unfortunate hedgehog flying into a stone pillar.

As the pillar gives, he's sent into the nearby wall and crashes thought it. Which sends him down a long hallway and then sent through as he’s slammed into one of the adjoining walls, then another room and another? Then tough a set of double doors and sent tumbling down several flights of stairs; Landing at the bottom most stair with a dead thud and appears to be knocked out.

Yellow energy swirls around the sun princess as her once free flowing mane juts upwards and almost looks like to be made of fire.
"You wanted a fight, well you just found it!" The Princess snaps as she takes a ready position towards the new opening.
The ground begins to rubble, prompting the alicorn to take a quick glance towards the mane 6.

"This is it; strike him with everything you've got!" The six mares nod in response and begin to power up their elements.

Some of the partly cracked areas start to give as the rumbling increases. While other parts crumble and fall to the floor.

Suddenly an enraged hedgehog bursts from the hole his body made earlier; letting out an almost roar as he does so. An explosion that sounds like a shotgun soon echoes in the distance as he's struck with a familiar rainbow colored light.

The once fiery aura surround the hedgehog starts to dissipate as the spiral of rainbow colored energy starts to swirl around him.
"No!" He screams as the one demonic hedgehog is consumed by the blast from the elements of harmony.
Gagged spikes shoot upward, crooked pointed teeth slide back into place, red twisted eyes return to normal and long claws slides back into the gloved hands. Still thrashing about, the once crazed hedgehog lets out a blood curdling scream as the dark energy is purged from his puppets body and the emeralds he possessed.

A now super charged Sonic hovers in the air in a slumped position. Energy crackles and rolls across his frame. The mane 6 stare in ah, as Celestia cautiously approaches the glowing hedgehog, with her horn still charged encase of another excursion. Sonic's head suddenly snaps upwards raveling a pair of fiery red eyes staring back at the sun princess.

The super charged hedgehog blinks several times and shakes his head. And then glances around the room, before turning back to the sun princess.
"Looks like I missed the party." Sonic jokes as he gives the princess one of his trademark grins.

Celestia smiles back and stops the magic flowing into her horn."Welcome back."

Sonic glances at the area once more, this time noticing several large dents in the sun princess's armor, prompting the hedgehog to close the gap between himself and the white alicorn and place his hands on her face.
"Are you alright?"
The princess lets out a small gasp and steps back out of the yellow hedgehog's reach. "I am fine; it will take more than that to take me out."
Sonic smile at the princess’s reply and turns his attention to Luna as she gives her head a few strong shakes as if trying to clear her head of something. "How about you, Sparkles?" The princess of the night looks up at the hedgehog and smiles. "No worries, Sonic. We have been though a lot worse."

"Is it gone?" The princess of sun asks, prompting the hedgehog to turn his attention back towards the white alicorn. "That thing, ‘what ever’ it was. Is it no longer in control of you?"
Sonic nods and takes another look at the room. "It would seem that is the case." He sighs. "Though it appears he didn't go out without a fight."
The princess forces a laugh. "It wasn't anything we can’t handle."
The yellow hedgehog smirks at the princess and gives her a thumbs up. "I figured as much.

The two princess smiles back as the hedgehog turns his attention to the mane six, who are still recovering from using the elements.
"Anyone over here hurt?" Rarity gives the hedgehog a solemn nod as she rise to her hooves with the others.
"We are fine darling. That dreadful creature controlling you didn't harm us. Also, might I say that is a wonderful shade of gold?”
"But it got close." Rainbow Dash adds, much to the white unicorn’s annoyance.
Fluttsershy slowly flies towards the super hedgehog, with a look of concern on her face. "Are you really OK? That thing wasn't too friendly."
Sonic smiles at pats the Pegasus on the head. "Yeah, I’m fine."

Sonic files over to a nearby window and flings it open and then turns back towards the alicorn sisters and the mane 6. "Well since everyone's alright, I’ll be right back."
"Where art thou going?" Luna asks raising an eyebrow at the hedgehog's actions.
"I've got to burn this off.” He smiles. “And I have just the way how” Sonic replies as he leaps though the open window.
The sisters let out a gasp, only to see a yellow stream of light shoot upward, followed by a thunderous boom as the hedgehog breaks the sound barrier.
"That so, AWESOME!" Rainbow Dash comments, while the other mare's shake their heads at Sonic using the same trick twice.

Celestia watches the stream of light disappear with a trouble look on her face. Luna turns to her sister with a worried expression herself.
"Sister what is wrong?"
The sun princess frowns, still looking into the horizon. "That power, I've felt something like that before."

An orb of yellow light, with a golden trail behind it shines brightly in the sky. Clouds and small burrs scatter as the super charged hedgehog rockets through the air.
"YAHOO!" Sonic shouts as he dose several loop-de-loops and breaks into a spin; pulling up just before hitting the ground.
Tall grass and trees ruffle as the golden projectile tears though the landscape. Sonic stops in mid air and spots something in the distance. A large grin appears on his face as he rockets towards it.

A certain Stunt flier captain paces atop a large cloud before several other Wonderbolt flyers. Each either sitting on a nearby cloud or hovering in midair. Most of which appear to be the same group as the Cloudsdale sky show. Spitfire turns towards the other sky fliers and gives them a stern look.
"Alright, maggots..." She shouts with a booming voice. "This is a..."
Soarin flies towards the cloud the captain is standing on, "Could you lay off the drill Sergeant gargin. We're not Jr. Cadets here, Sir"
Spitfire gives the lieutenant a dirty look, before letting a sigh and dropping her head, "Very well." She responds, turning her attention back towards the other Pegasus. "AS I was saying, this is an important event. Never have we been asked by a nation’s ruler to...”
The captain is cut off again as a few of the other stunt flies attempt to hold back a laugh. "What is so funny?" She asks abruptly stopping her pace and raising an eyebrow in response.
Unbeknownst to the captain, a certain yellow hedgehog is hovering behind her, mirroring her movements in a mocking manner. One of the laughing Pegasus motions towards the yellow hedgehog behind her. Prompting the captain to turn around, only to see an open sky.

"I don't see anything." Spitfire responds giving the pony a confused expression. "Anyway, we've been asked by the leader of Los Pegus to..."
The captain is cut off again, by the snickering of the other stunt flies. This time Sonic is mocking rowing a boat and walking down a flight of stairs. Spitfire turns again behind her, only to once again see an empty sky.
"Alright, jokes over. This is getting old." The captain comments as she turns back towards the other fliers.
"So as I was saying, we're helping kick off the open of a new Casino that..."
The Wonderbolts start laughing again, "WHAT THE BUCK IS SO DAMN FUNNNY?!" The captain snaps, prompting a few of the Pegasus to jump back.

"You want the truth?" A familiar voice asks. Spitfire groans.
"Of course I want the..." The orange Pegasus trails off as she comes face to face with the glowing hedgehog.
"You can't handle the truth!" Sonic mockingly shouts poking the mare in the muzzle.
Spitfire leaps back with a confused expression on her face. "Sonic, is that you?"
The hedgehog grins and crosses his arms. "Who else could it be?"
The Wonderbolts captain continues to stare dumbfounded at the glowing hedgehog in front of her. Sonic grins at the mare's confusion. Only to break away his glance as he spots a familiar light blue female Pegasus slowly approaching him.

"Hey you." The hedgehog comments to the approaching mare.
"Hi." Fleetfoot sheepishly replies as she continues to close the gap.
Sonic lets out a small chuckle and crosses his arms behind his head. "Let me guess. You want another hug, don't you?"
The pony nods. "Yes please."
The yellow hedgehog holds out his arms and notions the Pegasus to approach. Fleetfoot unfolds her wings, leaps into the hedgehog’s arms, and wraps her forelegs around him. Giving him slight nuzzle as she does so.

Spitfire rolls her eyes at this affectionate display. "Just kiss him already."
The two break away from the hug and exchange confused looks.”You weren't going to..." Sonic begins.
Fleetfoot instantly shake her head. "I wasn't planning on it."
The hedgehog turns to the Wonderbolts captain and grins. "Is someone jealous?" Spitfire rears back in shock. "Why would I be jealous?"
Sonic breaks into a fit of laughter. "The look on your face....is hilarious....You actually thought that..." The hedgehog whips a tear away from his right eye, "Ah, priceless."

Spitfire lets out a heavy sigh and shakes her head. "So, what are you doing here anyway?"
The yellow hedgehog scratches the back of head as he responses. "Well I was planning on just getting an autograph for a friend of me, but..." Sonic grins. "-I just thought of something way better."
"And what would that be?" The orange Pegasus says in a less than enthusiastic tone.
"Why don't I just how you?"
Spitfire lets out a heavy sigh. "We don't have time for this."
Sonic shoots the mare a cocky grin. "What's wrong, afraid you're going to lose?"

The other stunt fliers let out collective 'oh' at the hedgehog’s challenge.

The Wonderbolts Captain glares at her challenger, then forces out a laugh to save face.
"You think that you have a chance at out flying me?" Spitfire grins at flips down her goggles. "Suit up ladies, it's time we show this hedgehog his place."
The other stunt fliers nod or let out a grunt of acknowledgement as they lower there flying goggled and/or adjust their flight suits.
"Name the place and we'll show you what an elite Wonderbolt stunt team can do." Spitfire barks as the troops behind her let out collective grunt.
A sonic grin at the captain’s claim and crosses his arms. "Canterlot Castle"
The fleet of stunt flyers flair out there wings and takes a ready position, as Spitfire gives the hedgehog a cocky smirk, "Bring it on."

Several unicorn royal guards trot around the former scene of the battle, using their magic to make repairs to the damaged walls and windows. While the Princess of the Sun sits on the floor; with the mane 6 and her younger sister beside her.
"Dear sister, are ye sure that was the same energy, they experienced before." Luna inquires giving her sister a worried look.
Celestia nods and address the others around her. "I'll never forget it. I was probably no older than most of you, " The princess notions to the mane 6 in front of her.
Applejack raises an eyebrow to the alicorns claim, "Not to call you a liar or anything, but that ain’t possible. Sugar Hog has only been here a few months."
The sun princess lowers her head. "Yes, I am aware of that. That's what troubles me."
Pinkie Pie waves her right hoof over her head. "So why now? That mean crazy thing has taken over spiky a few times now?"
Celestia shakes her head. "That energy was too rough...raw." The princess furrows her brow. "It wasn't till; your friend placed his hands on my face, that I noticed the similarities.

The sky explodes as a deafening boom echoes in the distance. A certain super charged hedgehog zips along the sky; with several Wonderbolts flying a short distance behind him.
Sonic grins at the stunt fliers. "Whoa, you guys are still here?"
Spitfire charges ahead to match the hedgehog's speed and flies to his left "We aren't called the Elite class for nothing."
"Says the mare, that’s barely able to keep up." A certain teal pony comments as she appears on Sonic are right.
"Watch it Fleetfoot, your addressing a superior officer." Spitfire barks.
"Meant no disrespect, ma'am; just stating the facts." The pony adds as she starts to fly ahead.
"Are you going to take that?" The hedgehog comments as he matches the teal mare's speed.
"I'll make her eat those words." Spitfire boasts as she matches the other Pegasus’ speed

Sonic gives the mare a solemn nods and pulls ahead of the pack. "I guess we'll see who the winner is." He takes a read position. "I'll meet you guys at the castle."
The super charged hedgehog blasts ahead of both the Wonderbolts; leaving deafening boom in his wake as he breaks the sound barrier. The two mare's exchange looks and then turns back towards the hedgehog’s vapor trail.

Celesta stands before her sister and the mane 6, still discussing the 'matter from earlier.'
"Maybe some pony possessed a similar ability back then." Rarity comments, prompting the princess of the sun to shake her head.
"I don't think so. This is not a power not found in Equestria or any lands I've visited. I even attempted to find this strange of this power." She lets out sigh. "Spending may moons, trying to find them, but with no success."
Luna places a hoof on her sister shoulder, prompting her to turn her attention back to the mane 6.
"Listen to me ramble." The princess fakes a smile. "I'll just have to ask you new friend myself, won’t I."

As if on cue, a certain super charged hedgehog appears hovering outside the open window.
"Hey everyone, look what I found."Sonic says as the mane 6 and alicorn sister to turn towards the hedgehog, just as a certain group of stunt fliers appear behind him.
"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh!" Rainbow Dash gushes as she spots her childhood heroes.
"Permission to come aboard, Princess?" The Wonderbolts captain asks as she appears next to the hovering hedgehog and solute the white alicorn.
Celestia nods and solutes back. "Permission granted."
Spitfire notions the 6 other stunt fliers to follow her though the open window. Maintaining formation as they land (in unicorn) behind there captain.
"It is an honor to be welcomed into your castle." Spitfire announces as she solutes the Alicorn sisters once more.
Celestia lets out a small chuckle and approaches the orange mare. "Relax Captain, we're all friends here."
Spitfire relaxes her stance and notions the other Wonderbolts to do the same. Branching out and trotting towards the mane 6; with Soarin and Spitfire being the exception, as they continue to stand near the princess of the sun.

Sonic grins as he watches his friends mingle with the new arrivals, and then lets out a loud yawn; drawing everyone’s attention back to him.
"So, who else wants to challenge me? I'm faster than the Wonderbolts, so who else is there?"
A loud thug jostles the hedgehog as Luna lands in front of the window; still clad in her battle armor. "We shall challenge you to a race of who’s the fastest."
The yellow hedgehog lets out an amused chuckle, "Sparkles for the win." His smile fades slightly. "It might be a little hard keeping up, with all that extra weight."
The Princess of the night glances at her decorative armor and nods. "Perhaps, thy have a point. My current attire is not fitting the form of engagement."
A dark blue mist surrounds the princess as the sound of unbuttoning snaps and unlocking locks is herd as several pieces of the royal armor fall to the floor. Luna user slides off her breast plate, slinks out of the back piece and kicks off the armored foot coverings. Finally leaping out of the window and fluttering next to the super charged hedgehog.
"We are ready for this 'race' of yours."

Sonic attempt to hold off an amused chuckle as he glances at the Moon princess, "Why are thou laughing, does ye not think we are an adequate opponent?" She snaps, only further amusing the hedgehog.
The hedgehog wipes a tear way and attempts to hold back his laughter, Letting a snicker escape every so often, "Sorry, it's just that I've never had anyone strip down to their birthday suit for me so quickly."
Luna blushes at the s at the hedgehog's comment and lets out an annoyed scoff as she begins to fly back towards the open window."We are not amused."

The yellow hedgehog lets out an amused snort. "C'mon Sparkles don't be mad, it was a joke."
Luna stops at the edge of the window and turns back towards Sonic; who’s holding out his hand with an apologetic look. "Very well, we shall continue this is excursion."
The princess places her right forelegs into the hedgehogs out stretched hand, while giving him a cocky grin. "Thou think ye can keep up?"
Sonic chuckles at the princess's remark. "I'll believe it when it sees it."

Luna removers her hoof from the hedgehog's grip and zips past him. "Then prepare to be amazed."
Sonic grins at the princess’s remark and chases after her. "This is going to be fun."

The remaining ponies and princess watch the two depart, with looks of confusion and joy. Twilight raises an eyebrow to the departing two. Only to be jostled by the sound of clanking steel. As Luna's discarded armor is levitated off the floor by the princess of the sun. The lavender mare watches the armor’s surrounded by a golden aura. Celestia noticed the confused mare, trots towards her, and hold her left foreleg to her mouth.

"It would appear you have some more competition." The princess says in a loud whisper.
Twilight rears back and gives the alicorn a puzzled look. "But I already said..." The mare trails off as the while alicorn begins to walk away.

"I'm aware of what you 'claimed'" Celestia adds as she walks through a set of double door and leaves the room.

Most of the ponies remained fixed on the event as it unfolds before them, till Rarity loudly clears he throat; turning everyone's attention towards her, prompting the mare to gain the attention of a female Wonderbolt.

"Darling, you must tell me. How you got that stylish mane of yours.”

The mare lets out a small chucked as she runs a hoof though her curly purple hair, "Genetics and a whole lot of flying."

Rarity frowns at the pony. "Certainly that can't be it, miss....uh."

"High Winds." The white Pegasus replies.

"Oh of course it seems rather..." The mare trails off and smacks her forehead with her right foreleg, "Oh, how rude of me. I never introduced myself." The unicorn gives the mare a slight bow. "I'm Rarity; I run a marvelous destine shop in Ponyville."

High Winds nods at the mare's introduction, "Pleased to me you."

The Wonderbolts Captain and Lieutenant emerge from the crowd and approach a certain cyan Pegasus; who proceeds to hyperventilate as they draw near.

"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh."

Soarin approaches the nervous mare and places a hoof on her shoulder, "Calm down; no need to pass out on our account."

Rainbow Dash goes ridged and salutes the stallion, "Yes, sir."

Spitfire lets out an amused laugh as she approaches from Soarin's left, "At ease Rainbow Dash." The cyan mare relaxes her stance and continues to gaze upon the two stunt fliers in front of her.

"So, I take if you're this 'friend' Sonic mentioned wanting an autograph?" Spitfire asks, giving the cyan mare a sly grin. Rainbow Dash's wings flair up as a big smile appears on her face.

"Is that why you guys are here?" The two Pegasus nod.

The Princess of the sun returns to the large stone hall. Prompting everyone to cease conversation and turn towards the while alicorn. "No need to stop on my account, please continue."

A series of thunderous booms echoes in the distance as a gold streak tears thought the sky, as a certain super charged hedgehog flies across it, causing large trees to sway and large lakes to ripple as he flies over then. Sonic looks to an empty sky behind him and lets out a small chuckle.

"Figured, she wouldn't be able to keep up. I guess the princess was all talk."

A dark foreleg suddenly taps the hedgehog on his head, prompting him to look upward and spotting a certain dark blue alicorn above him.

"Gah!" Sonic shrieks. "How'd you do that?"

Luna smirks at the bewildered hedgehog below her. "One should not make such bold assumptions, so quickly." She smiles. "In thy younger years, we were a very accomplished flier; Known for our great speed and heroic endeavors."

Sonic grins at the alicorn's claim. "Well in that case." He starts to pull ahead. "Catch me if you can."

Luna nods and grins at the fleeing hedgehog as she starts to close the gap. "Consider thee already caught."

The crowed meeting hall remains silent, as the princess of the sun (no longer donning her battle armor) stands before a large set of double doors, leading to the castle halls. Celestia frowns at the continued silence as she keeps a fixed gaze on the mane 6 and the elite stunt fliers. Twilight notices the princess's plight and attempts to strike a conversation with the Wonderbolts Captain.

"So uh, you guys playing any upcoming events?" The lavender mare asks with a stressed grin on her face.

Spitfire picks up on the unicorns plan and gives her a solemn nod before responding. "Funny you should ask. We've been summoned to kick off a new casino opening in Las Pegus."

Rainbow Dash raises an eyebrow at the statement. "You guys do those kinds of things?"

The orange Pegasus shrugs."Sure, we also do charity events, half time shows, along with just things to keep us busy during peace times." Spitfire smirks at the sun princess. "It keeps our skill sharp."

Celestia nods at the mares comment and returns the expression. The sound of soft hoof steps draws the alicorns attention to an approaching Twilight. Celestia smiles at the unicorn and notions her to approach. Twilight returns the smile and gingerly trots towards the princess, as if trying not to show her eagerness.

"Not able to mingle with our new guests? A concerned princess asks. Twilight shakes her head and lets out a heavy sigh. "It's not that, I just don't feel like talking right now."

Pinkie pie springs towards a pair of the stunt fliers, one male or female; both sporting a brought orange mane and tail, "So which one's older? Or are you two twins?"

The two Wonderbolts exchange amused looks. "We're not related." The stallion replies; snickering as he tries to stiffen a chuckle.

"We get that a lot." An amused mare adds trying holding back her own laughter.

Mean while, Fleetfoot and Applejack, where engaged in a hoof wrestle. With Fluttsershy watching the events unfold.

"I got to say, I’m impressed." The teal colored pony comments as she starts to push the earth pony's hoof down. "Not many would be able to hold out this long."

Applejack smirks at the mare's comment. "If you think that’s impressive, wait till you see this." The wheat colored pony boast as she starts to force the Pegasus’s hoof downward; slamming it on the table there hoof wrestling on.

"YEE -HAA!" The mare cheers as she holds her hooves up in the air.

"You rock applejack, Wahoo." Fluttsershy comments as she flies next to the mare. Fleetfoot stares at the earth pony slack jawed. "Best two out of three!" The teal colored mare demands as she places her foreleg back onto the table.

Applejack grins at the request. "Aright then, but you know what's gonna to happen to ya."

Spitfire lets out an amused chuckle as she playfully jabs Soarin in the shoulder. "I think she like you lieutenant."

The stallion and cyan mare take a step back at this claim. "Uh Captain, I think you might be..." The stallion is cut off as his superior bursts into a fit of laughter.

"She's messing with us Soarin." Rainbow Dash comments, with an annoyed expression; prompting the male Pegasus to let out a heavy sigh.

"Oh c'mon you two." Spitfire begins. "It was a joke, Dash obviously likes...” The mare trails off as something in the distance catches her eye.

"Uh Captain?" Soarin begins as he approaches the orange Pegasus.

"What in tarnation?" Applejack comments as she turns towards the open window.

The other mares and stallions break off from their conversation and gaze towards a glowing light in the distance.

"What is that?" The Princess of the Sun inquires as she tries to make out what's out there.

"Hey out of the way!" A familiar voice shouts in the distance. Celestia's face goes ridged as she notices the ball of light nearing the castle.

"Come every pony, we must clear a path." The group obeys, but not without comments on the princesses order.

The ground begins to rumble as the sphere of light approaches, a loud boom is herd as a certain super charged hedgehog flies through the open window; causing a few of the ponies to stare at the flashy appearance in awe.

The metal plates on his shoes making a high pitch grinding noise as he makes contact with the floor. Sending sparks shooting from the sides of his shoes, as the mares and stallions cringed at the high pitch noise. Then clearing the way, just as the he slides past then; using an out stretched hand to steer himself, just stopping a few feet from a nearby wall.

"Wahoo!" Sonic shouts as he raises his arms into the air. Smoke still rolling off his golden quills. A series of hoots and gasps can be heard as the hedgehog is flanked by galloping of mare's and stallions; led by an enthusiastic Rainbow Dash.

"That was...was." The mare begins, before stumbling over her words.

"Way past cool?" Sonic adds, gaining a grin in response.

"Yeah, that." The cyan mare responds as she stopped a few inches from the hedgehog and wraps her forelegs around him.

"You have to show me how you did that!" Rainbow Dash demands as she breaks from the hug and stares at him at an arm’s length. Most of the other members of the group utter similar response of amazement. With rest either cheering or giving Sonic a solemn nod or pat on the back.

"THOU HAVE CHEATED!" A booming voice says in the distance, prompting everyone to turns towards an enraged Luna.

Standing in front of the open window; panting heavily. "YE FAILED TO ROUND THE LAST CHECKPOINT AND INSTEAD STOPPED SHORT, THUS FAILING TO FINISH THE RACE!" The princess of the night shouts, using her Royal Canterlot voice.

Sonic offers the cyan mare an apologetic smile as he slides her forelegs off his shoulders and leaps from the middle of the large crowd; landing several feet away from the enraged princess.

"Easy there Dovaqueen, no need to ‘shout’ me into a wall now."

Luna raises an eyebrow at the hedgehog's comment. "WHAT ARE YE...?” The alicorn cuts herself off and lets out a heavy sigh as she places a hoof onto of her forehead. "What are ye talking about?"

The hedgehog chuckles in response. "You don’t know what a Dova..." He waves a gloved hand in front of him, "Never mind." Sonic rakes a few brisk steps towards the princess. "I am not a cheater Sparkles. You challenged me a race to the moon and back and I won."

The group of pony's lets out a series of collective gasps and mutter words of atonement or disbelief.

"Lies ye did not go to our moon!" The princess begins as she trots towards the hedgehog. "Ye merely flew around the planet in hopes of our sight was too focused on the target in front of us." Sonic scowls that the Luna's claim and closes the gap between them.

"Now hold on sec, your royal blindness." He sticks a finger into the alicorns face. "I'm not a liar, and I’m sure as hell not a cheater." The hedgehog reaches behind his back and pulls out a large black stone and drops it at the princess's hooves. "Behold!" He raises his arms into the air, "A moon rock."

Sonic crosses his arm continues to give the princess a sour look. "Don’t be a sore loser, Sparkles. I followed your rules and flew to the moon and back. Except I also used it’s gravity like a sling shot; when I flew around it.”

Luna drops her head in shame and glances at the back rock sitting by her front right hoof, "Our apologies, Sonic. We did not see you touch down on the planet. Rather witness you rocketing towards Equestria at am untold amount of speed."

A gloved hand tilts the moon princess’s head upward. To a pair of caring red eyes and smiling face "Don't worry about it Sparkles." Sonic says with a grin. "We all make mistakes."

Luna's face turns several shades of crimson at the hedgehog's affection. Along with her massive wings to poof upwards, prompting the princess to back pedal way from the hedgehog. "We are honored that ye would not hold our outburst against us. And thank you for the kind words."

Celestia gives Twilight a playful jab in the shoulder, "Called it."

Sonic grins at the fumbling moon princess and dust off his hands. "Now that that little misunderstanding it taken care of."

The super charged hedgehog snaps his fingers, causing the super transformation to disengage and the now 8 pristine cut chaos emeralds to appear and fall in a small semi circle around him. The blue hedgehog grins at the gems before retrieving them and tossing them behind his back. One by one they disappear from sight.

Spitfire approaches the hedgehog with a confused expression. "How are you doing that? You have a magic saddle bag or something?"

Sonic shrugs. "I guess you could say that, it's a little trick I learned when I was a kid. Thought a friend of mine was able to master it and kept an array of hammers on hand." The blue hedgehog lets out a heavy sigh as he recalls his hammer wielding friend.

"Hey, are you alright?" A concerned Spitfire asks, as she places a foreleg on the hedgehog's shoulder. Sonic shakes off the expression and smiles weakly at the mare.

"Yeah, I' just remembered an old friend of mine." The orange mare opens he mouth o say something, but is stopped as the Wonderbolts lieutenant, trots next to her and whispers something into her ear; prompting her to snap her head in his direction.

"Are you serious? It's already that late?" Soarin nods and notions towards a large clock mounted on the wall. "Jeez, time just flew by didn't it?" The Wonderbolts Captain turns to the blue hedgehog and gives him a solemn nod. "Hate to cut this little reunion short, but we got to fly. New batches of recruit are coming in and we need to be there in time to greet them." Spitfire states with a cocky smirk.

Sonic nods and gives the Pegasus thumbs up. "Go for it, a powerful team needs a strong leader."

The Wonderbolt Captain nods and takes flight, motioning the other fliers to follow. As Spitfire turns to leads her troops to the window, she abruptly stops and turns to Sonic and the mane six. "Hey, we have a show in Las Pegasus in a couple of weeks. You guys should swing by." The blue hedgehog nods.

"You can count on it."

The Wonderbolts Captain nods and leads the other stunt fliers though the window. Sonic, the mane 6 and Princesses watch the group depart, till they vanish from sigh. Celestia is the first to break her gaze of the horizon and turns towards Sonic. She begins to trot towards him to gain his attention, but is cut off by a thunderous boom behind her.

Turning to the scores, the group turns towards a bizarre sigh. Spiraling energy spins with in a gagged slash mark as a bruit wind blows from it. Creating thick fog and blinding the room’s inhabitant. An anthropomorphic figure steps from the barrier and lets out a heavy sigh.

"What is this place?" The voice says, prompting Sonic's ears to perk up. "I must have landed in the wrong realm...again. Curse you jeweled..." The voice is cut off as a certain white alicorn lands in front of the mysterious visitor, causing them to stumble backwards.

"Who are you?" Celestia begins. "How did you pass though my defenses?" The figure scratches its head.

"Defenses, I was not aware of any defenses?"

Celestia frowns at the statement and begins to channel power into her horn. "I have my entire fleet mobilized and on alert. How were you able to slip past them unnoticed! The Princess snaps, as she glares at the visitor before her.

Luna lands next to her sister and gives her a concerned look. "Sister, maybe we shouldn't...."

Luna is cut off as a fury of fire burst from the mysterious creature, blowing away the thick fog; reveling familiar Burmese cat. "You think I’m here for conquest?" The lilac cat snaps as fire envelops the room. "I am ruler of the Sol dimension, guardian of its precious stones and treasure." A snarl appears on the felines face. "I am Blaze, princess of my land! And I will not be accused of invasion by a DAMN TALKING HORSE!"

Celestial’s eyebrow twitches at the cat's outburst. "How dare you!" Energy crackles around her massive horn. "I show you the might of a 'talking horse.'"

Blaze grins at the princess's threat. "I'd like to see you try."

"Ah crap!" Sonic shouts as he runs towards the two world rulers on an intercept course.

The sun princess begins to channel energy into her horn. "You will regret your insolence." Celestia snaps a she gives the invader a sour look.

Fire surrounds the Burmese cat as she continues to glare at the princess. "Let talking more action!"

The two rear back and prepare to strike, but are cut off by a sudden gust of wind as it blast between them. "WHOA! WHOA! WHOA!" Sonic shouts as he stops between the three and holds his hands out towards the two alicorn sisters. "She's a friend of mine, hold your fire!"

Celestia and Luna turn towards each other and exchange worried looks. "Sister, he has given us no reason not to trust him." Luna begins as powers down her horn. Celestia nods and repeat the action. "You are correct; we should at least hear them out."

Blaze powers down and stares at the blue hedgehog in front of her with a bewildered expression. "Sonic?" she begin, out stretching a hand in his direction.

The blue hedgehog turns towards the confused cat and gives her his trademark grin, "The one and only." Blaze’s upper lip begins to quiver as she gazes upon her long time friend. Sonic is suddenly pulled in tight embrace as a set of purple arms wraps around him and pull his close to the purple cat.

"SONIC!" Blaze shouts in glee as she holds the hedgehog in her arms.

Twilight, the princesses, and the other mane 6 stare at the events unfolding in front of them. "Well I’ll be a fork tongued wombat!" Applejack begins, gaining a series of odd looks from the other members of the group.

A sizzling sound starts to stir from the embracing pair, prompting Sonic to break the hug and leap backward. "HOT! HOT! HOT!" The hedgehog shouts as he starts to pat down various places on his body. This display stiffens a giggle from the Burmese cat; who instantly fakes a cough, in an attempt to hide her composure.

"My apologies Sonic, I got a bit excited when I saw you."

Sonic abruptly stops and pats down the last bit of lingering fire on his arm. "It's cool, but-" He grins."-Never expected you to be a huger."

Blaze blushes at the comment and turns away. "It's been a while since we last saw another. One should expect such actions when long time friends meet once more."

The blue hedgehog lets out an amused laugh and pats the purple cat on the shoulder. "You're so easy to mess with, it's almost criminal."

Blaze frowns at the comment, but then smiles at the grinning hedgehog before her. "I've missed you too."

A series of hoof steps prompts the duo to turn towards the group of trotting towards mares. "Oooh! Who’s your Friend, Spiky?" Pinkie asks as she springs towards the pair.

"Can all of them talk?" The purple cat inquires, as she gives the hedgehog a confused look.

"They can do more than that." Sonic boast as he notions to the group of ponies in front of him. "You want to take this Celestia?"

The Princess nods and uses her magic to create an image of large map; displaying the land of Equestria. "Perhaps it would be best if I show you."

Celestia tells an abridged version of the history of Equestria. On how it was founded, the towns and ponies that inhabit it, and of the bordering nations that up until recently weren't on good terms with them. Blaze stands before the ruler and takes to the information like a fish to water. Making sure that nothing is missed as her ears stand alert and eager to listen to the alicorn’s tale of her reign.

After hearing the princess's 'history lesson' The Burmese cat approaches the alicorn and extent a while gloved hand in her direction. "I apologize for my actions upon our meeting. One has to be alert and ready for all situations, when jumping worlds. I hope what transpired then doesn't make us enemies."

Celestia raises her right foreleg and places it into the cats out stretched hand. "I should be the one to apologize. I miss took your abrupt arrival as an act of aggression. Do to certain previous events, I was a bit on edge and for that I’m sorry."

The two exchange nods and let here respective limps release from the shake and fall back into place. Blaze glances at the six mares and then turns to Sonic. "Aren't you going to introduce me to your friends?"

The blue hedgehog smirks at the question and turns to the guardians of harmony. "Course, I was just getting to..." The hedgehog is cut off as a certain pink party pony springs towards them; causing Sol Guardian to leaps backwards.

"Hi I'm Pinkamena Diane Pie, but everyone calls me Pinkie. How long have you known Spiky? I bet it's a really long time. Was that fire coming out of your hands? Are you some kind of pyrokinetic for something?

Blaze raises an eyebrow at the now exhausted mare, "Nice to meet you Pinky Pie." The Burmese cat replies. "I've known Sonic for quite some time now. He helped me defend my Kingdom and we've been good friends since." Blaze lets out a nervous laugh and scratches the back of her head. "Yes that was fire you saw. I've had the ability to manipulate fire since I was very small."

The pink mare attempt to gear up for another round of questions, but is abruptly cut off by Ponyville’s Fashionista. "I do apologize for my friend’s outburst your highness." The white unicorn says with a solemn bow. "She tends to get that way around strangers."

"It's quite a right." Blaze responds as she holds up her hands before the mare. "I have a friend back home that kind of like that, so I’m used to it. And please, just Blaze is fine."

Rarity bows once more and backpedals back towards the group, gaining few odd glances from the mane 6. With Applejack giving the white mare an odd look before trotting towards the new arrival.

"Howdy there!" The apple bucking mare says holding out a forelegs towards the purple cat."Names Applejack, I help run Sweet Apple Acres back in Ponyville. And any friend of Sugar Hog’s is a friend of mine."

Blaze takes the mare's out stretched hoof in hand and gives is a stern shake. "It's a pleasure to meet you Applejack."

A rainbow colored flash zips past the two and shoves the wheat colored mare to her side. "I'm Rainbow Dash, fastest flier in Equestria." The cyan mare boasts as she holds a foreleg to her chest.

The purple cat holds a gloved hand to her mouth in surprise. "Oh my, so you’re faster than Sonic?" Rainbow Dashes rears flatten. "Not exactly, I still haven’t been able to beat him in a race."

"Keep practicing kid, and one day you might be able to go half as fast as me." Sonic boast, gaining an odd expression as some of the mare roll their eyes in response.

A certain lavender mare approaches the purple cat and gives her a slight bow. "I am Twilight Sparkle; it's an honor to make your acquaintance." Her polite tone almost seems forced, prompting the sol guardian to give the mare a puzzled look.

Fluttsershy remains in her previous spot from earlier, nervously staring at the Burmese cat before her. The mare attempt to skirt away further, but is stopped by an eager Pinky pie and is instead pushed clear to the new visitor, prompting her to let out a small squeak and rear back in fear. "I'm Fluttsershy." The yellow Pegasus says in a loud whisper. And then bows; almost smashing her face on the tile floor. "It's nice to meet you."

Blaze glances at the groveling mare before her, kneels down, and offers her a hand in response. "It’s alright; I’m not going to hurt you." The purple cat coos, causing the yellow Pegasus to meekly peak up and look at her. "Really?" she says.

"Of course not, what would give you that idea?"

"When you first arrived, you were shooting fire from your hands...” Fluttsershy begins. "I'm sorry, if I did anything to offend you."

Blaze turns to Sonic and gives him a puzzled look, prompting the blue hedgehog to shrug in response.
The Burmese cat then glances around the empty room and then back at Sonic, "If you don't mind me asking. Where is everyone else? I was at least expecting to see a few members of your motley crew."

Sonic lets out a heavy sigh as he slouches over. Approaching the confused cat and placing hand on her shoulder. "It’s long story." He motions to the other group members. "C'mon, I’ll fill you guys in on what happened." Sonic frowns at his last statement. "I've been keeping this secret long enough."

The mane six and princesses exchange worried looks at the follow the blue hedgehog. Twilight lets the others pass and lets out her own heavy sigh. "This isn't going to be a happy story.”

The rein of madness is brought to an end. Thanks partly to the sun princess's quick thinking and of course the elements of Harmony. Also our hero gains the attention of a certain group of stunt fliers. Even managing to win a race with the moon princess herself.

However not all is right in the land of ponies. A friend from Sonic's past has landed smack dab in Equestria. What could the Sol Guardian want and why is she there.
