Discord lets out an amused laugh as he sizes up the hedgehog. "Those ponies weren't kidding when they said that those gems were unstable," the Draconequus notes amusedly as he uses his mismatched wings to lift himself from the ground and back to a standing position. "Oh, what fun this shall be, you'll surely make things much more interesting…"

The hedgehog remains silent as he advances upon the Draconequus, who lets out another amused snort. "What, you think you can take me on?" he asks sarcastically, taking on the form of a boxer standing in a boxing ring, throwing punches in the air. "I'd like to see you try."

Sonic suddenly vanishes from the Draconequus's sight, startling him and prompting him to scan the area. "Where did he-" Discord is cut off as he spots the now black hedgehog rocketing towards him from behind. "Buck!"

A massive explosion shakes the forest, blasting trees apart limb from limb and sending braches and leaves scattering in all directions as a certain Draconequus is sent flying through it. Discord mutters curses for a few moments before unfolding his wings and stopping himself from crashing back down to the forest floor, attempting to shake off the daze the recent assault has put him in as he hovers above the thick tree canopy. A loud boom erupts below as the distinct snap of the sound barrier being broken resonates through the forest. Discord winces as the corrupted dark hedgehog appears before him, snarling sadistically.

"You think that hurt?" the Draconequus mocks cockily, attempting to mask the uneasy feeling growing in the pit of his stomachs with confidence. "I hardly felt a th-OOF!" His rant is cut off as something strikes him in the stomach then zips behind him.

Gasping for air, Discord whips about to face the attacker, only to be struck in the chin as the hedgehog strikes with a devastating uppercut, sending the Draconequus flying. A barrage of strikes soon follows as something zips past him and delivers a series of quick punches to his long, snake-like frame, each too fast to see to the naked eye as the only thing confirming their existence is the ever increasing appearance welts and bruises and the sound of fist striking flesh. Discord swings his eagle talon in the force’s general direction, causing the hedgehog to stop his vicious assault and stop the Draconequus's attack with his outstretched right hand.

Discord takes advantage of the opening and attempts to slice the hedgehog with his lion paw, only for Sonic to break his hold and backflip out of the way. The Draconequus flaps up, free from the hedgehog’s grip, and turns his head and spits out a small bit of blood before turning back towards the Discorded Sonic.

"Impressive, you’ve certainly made things interesting." The Draconequus grins. "However, last time I checked, hedgehogs can't fly. So, I’m afraid this is where we must part ways and-" Discord's rant is cut short as the black hedgehog suddenly curls into a ball at rockets towards him; striking his large bat like wing.

The Master Harbinger of Chaos cringes at the hedgehog's assault, only to break into a fit of laugher as he ricochets off his wing. "What was that? Is that all you got? This changes nothing, I'm still up here and you're still falling down there," Discord mocks as he points to the ground below. The corrupted hedgehog lets out a throaty chuckle as he descends, earning an odd look from the Draconequus. The hedgehog latches onto the fluffy end of Discord’s tail, putting a huge strain on the now injured wing and stopping his descent. The Draconequus attempts compensate for the added weight and injury by beating his smaller wing quicker and harder, only to fail and be tugged downward.

A cacophony of crashing booms throughout the forest as Discord makes contact with the forest floor, taking out several trees in the process. The Lord Harbinger of Chaos attempts to right himself, but is suddenly forced back to the ground as something yanks him from behind. The Draconequus lets out a shriek as he's pulled deeper into the forest.

"This way!" Twilight shouts as she leads the other Bearers of Harmony through the forest, illuminating the area with a bright light emitted from her horn. Twilight abruptly stops as she notices several newly fallen trees and a small crater in the middle of an otherwise densely wooded area. "What happened here?" the Unicorn asks nopony in particular as she slowly approaches the scene.

"Ah reckon something mighty big fell theah' and took out these trees," Applejack says wisely.

Twilight rolls her eyes. "Well, that much is apparent, but what could have caused it?" The mare stops dead in her tracks as she notices something glistening in front of her while Applejack examines some strange markings on the ground.

"Twi, ya might want ta’ take a look at this," Applejack states as she motions towards the patch of ground she was examining before. The lavender mare complies and trots next to the wheat colored mare.

"What is it?" she asks, peering down at the patch of ground the earth pony was surveying at earlier.

"These look like drag marks if Ah ever did see em’," Applejack remarks as she lowers herself closer to the ground.

Twilight raises an eyebrow to the explanation. "How can you be so sure?" the mare asks as she turns to the wheat colored pony beside her.

"Ya’ll ever had ta hogtie a hog and drag it back ta its area?" Twilight shakes her head. “Ah thought not. After all the draggin’ around Ah’ve had ta do, trust me when Ah say, these’re drag marks,” Applejack states as she continues to stare at the marks. Twilight raises an eyebrow at the reply and draws her attention back to the object that caught her eye earlier.

Using her magic she levitates what appears to be a broken deer antler from a patch of tall grass. "Oh, my," Rarity says as she trots next to the lavender mare. "Fluttershy, dear, do there happen to be any elk or deer in the area this time of year?" the white Unicorn asks as she turns towards a cowering yellow Pegasus.

"N-n-n-no, they all migrated north about a few months ago."

Twilight abruptly drops the horn she was levitating as a worried expression starts to spread across her face.

"Wait, that would mean..." Rainbow Dash trails off. The lavender mare suddenly takes off, following the desolate path. “Twilight?" the bewildered cyan mare calls out.

"Follow me!" the lavender unicorn demands as she charges forward.

The frightened Draconequus, frantically slashes at the ground as he's dragged through the forest. Discord is suddenly lifted from the ground and flung about as if he were a whip, crashing into any nearby tree or rock that crossed his path.

Discord is suddenly released from the hold and tumbles into a patch of tall grass as he is thrown into a small clearing. The Draconequus lets out a manic laugh as he rights himself and stands before his attacker.

"That's it?" Discord mocks. "And here I thought you were going to 'make me pay'. All you did was bop me with a few cheap shots and drag me through the forest. That might’ve been one of the most disappointing rounds of revenge I have ever been through." The Draconequus leans back for another fit of laugher but is suddenly struck across the face with something damp, making an exaggerated wet snap noise as it makes contact with the side of his face.

A barrage of strikes soon follows as the Draconequus is slapped several more times with the wet thing, stumbling backwards in an attempt to step out of the object’s range. With the last blow, striking hard enough to knock his large fang from his mouth, he finally manages to grab it with his eagle talons. A familiar scaly object is held between his talons. Scales of red and crimson cover a long and winding tail, small fins run the length if it as it tapers to a small puff. Except there’s one small difference between its present and past conditions; it's no longer attached to his snake-like body.

The Draconequus gapes in horror at what's before him, his eyes travelling the length of the tail to the dark creature he created holding the other end of it. He releases the object, causing it to let out a wet smack as it hits the ground. The God Harbinger of Chaos glances at his disembodied tail, then back at the hedgehog. Or, to be more accurate, the bottom of the hedgehog’s shoe, as he is met with a kick to the face and sent crashing into a large rock.

A yellow vapor starts to rise from the Draconequus as he lay motionless against the rock. Loud snappings and crunchings can be heard as the energy intensifies. Discord rises to his feet. His body twists and contorts as broken bones mend and set; the formerly broken deer antler starts to reform as he flares out his fully restored wings. A snarky grin spreads across the Draconequus's face as a new fang juts out from where the other one had once stood. The formerly detached tail wriggles to his hindquarters and snaps back into place as if it were a doll accessory.

Lightning strikes in the distance, illuminating the area for a second as the yellow vapor turns to a dark red. "Play time is over!" Discord announces as he's consumed by the mist. "I'll show you what a true Harbinger of Chaos is capable of!"

Lightning flashes once more, lighting the area for another moment. The discorded Sonic smirks at the rising mist and crosses his arms. Two massive wings burst from the sides of the smoke, one a sickening green color with red lining the bottom of the wings, the other engulfed in bright flames of orange and red. A series of crackling radiates out of the mist, followed by mighty roar. The large wings beat the air, clearing way the red mist and revealing the menacing creature behind it.

A massive dragon towers above the hedgehog, almost surpassing the forest's tree line. True to the Lord of Chaos's style, much of the creature appears to be parts of other animals. The hind legs are drawn back in a crouch, making it seem more intimidating than its humorous counterpart. One leg appears to be from a cheetah, complete with multi-colored spots. The other belongs to an Ursa Major, characterized by the eerie glow its source normally has. Its arms/forelegs are coiled back, ready to strike at any moment. The right is taken from the mythical Ahuizotl, except with long black claws protruding from it. The left resembles a wolf’s paw. Both are connected to an eagle-like body laden in red and black feathers. A scorpion’s tail juts out from the large frame, standing alert and ready to strike. A menacing dragon head smiles done at the hedgehog, a lion mane surrounding it.

"Prepare yourself!" the creature sneers in a booming voice as it begins to strike. "The true power of Cha-" Discord stops midsentence as his jaw is snapped shut by a set of gloved hands. The hedgehog grins as he begins to pry the creatures jaw wide open. "Wait stop!"

-Crack-

"AAAAHHHHH!"
