War is just around the corner.

After their startling discoveries, gleaned from a secret list stolen from the Tyrant Queen’s minion Blueblood, the girls and Spike find themselves with too much to do and too little time to do it. Heading off in their own directions, each group takes on a monumental task vital in the upcoming conflict to save Torani from her false queen.

However, for Spike and Rarity, the task might not be so terrible. Following a lead, the duo travel to the foothills of Torani’s northwestern mountains, braving the cold and lonely atmosphere in hopes of a weapon that could mean the difference between victory and defeat.

There, secluded and alone, the two prepare to enjoy a simple mission—meet their contact, collect the goods, then relax on their getaway, reflect on their newly revealed feelings for one another.

But all is not as it seems amongst the snow and the ice, and the pair could well find their first date growing dangerous. For some secrets cost more than lives, and darkness grows with the colder weather.
