Chapter 1: The Anger Of A God

It has been ten long years since Brock Fireheart asked Nightmare Moon, who is now Silver Star, to marry him and they had a child named Starfire. Starfire will turn ten years old in five days and everyone was preparing for the day he was to come of age to be able to use his magical abilities as an alicorn. "Silver how are you doing to day?" Celestia asked cheerfully. "oh perfectly fine, a bit nervous if you want to know, but fine no less. why would you be nervous? it's your son's tenth birthday you of all people should be happy!" celestia said. "yes i know but Brock has been sick recently and i dont know if i'll be able to control Starfire if he gets out of control. that is why my sister and i will be there. oh thank you Celestia you have always been so kind to me even after all i've done to you. oh silver, that is all in the past and I'm never one to hold a grudge." celestia said as her and Silver started to walk. "i cant believe that it's been ten long years since i married Brock. and to think that when i had made him my advisor i had just enough respect for him that i actually needed him to do anything at all....." she paused and exhaled sadly. "sounds like you've got something on your mind, what's wrong? well now that were married and i actually think back about it, i've always had this sort of....... feeling for Brock but i never knew what it was when i was nightmare. nightmare moon knew nothing but pride, respect, revenge and power, so when i was her i just thought i respected him. so that's what he felt, was respect. but now that i think back it wasn't respect, i mean i respected him and everything but it wasn't respect i was feeling.... it was love." she said sadly and started to cry. "oh Silver don't cry, you had no idea what you were feeling at the time. you were so young and so....... foolish." Silver had finished Celestia's sentence for her. "well i wouldn't have put it so bluntly but yes you were a little foolish. but the mistakes you made then made you into the woman you are today celebrating the day your son takes control of his destiny and his power." Celestia and Silver walked down the road for about a half hour talking when they bumped into brock. he looked like he had been running a marathon. "Brock are you alright? Celestia oh thank goodness i found you! why what is the matter? Our son is missing! WHAT?! where did he go? i have no idea he said he was going to have a race with one of his pegasus friends to the canterlot sculpture gardens and then he took off. wait... did you say the sculpture gardens? yes why? is he very competitive? competitive? HA! that's and understatement! so yes then? yes very. why does that matter? QUICKLY THERE IS NO TIME WE MUST GO THERE IMMEDIATELY! what, why? all of equestria could be in danger that's why! now come on!" with that said all three flew as fast as they could to the garden. when they arrived Celestia gasped and fell to her front knees and started crying. "CELESTIA, what's the matter?! h-he's back...... again after fifteen years he's back again.... what are you talking about?" she just pointed to an empty pedestal and cried loudly. Brock looked at the engraving underneath and his eye's shrank to the size of pins at what he read. the engraving read the words "Race: Draconiquuis. Gender: Male. Age: Unknown. Position: God Of Chaos. Name: Discord. Brock read this and walked backwards shaking his head. "n-n-no this c-can't b-be happening..... what is it Brock? d-d-d-discord..... is..... free." this made Silver gasp. then Brock realized why his son wasn't here. "Discord..... Took....... My........ SON........" Brock snarled through gritted teeth. and he stood up from his position on his knees and silver could see the magic in his horn start to flow through the rest of his body and he began to change. he was going into a Rage Shift, one of the most horrible sight's to see next to a dragons version which has been given the nickname an Apocalypse Shift. you dont want to know why. Brock stood straight up and his hair flowed into the air and burst into flame shooting upward into a point. in his eyes all you could see was pure rage. and his cloths changed from a pitch black color to a sun white color. his wings burst into flames and shot away from his back and the ground where he stood started to smoke as if it were about to catch fire, when suddenly for no reason, the flaming wings made one swift movement and he shot several hundred feet into the air and he flew through the air at a speed that would make rainbow dash look like a dead animal. "DISCORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHERE ARE YOU?!!!!!!!! I'LL TEAR YOU LIMB FROM BLOODY FUCKING LIMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" brock screamed out into equestria using a voice that would put the royal canterlot voice to shame. "I KNOW YOU HAVE MY SON!!!!!! NOW COME OUT AND FACE ME LIKE A REAL MAN SO I CAN TEAR YOUR FUCKING ARMS OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he screamed again and shot down to ponyville and he backflipped and landed at two hundred miles an hour causing an explosion and a huge black cloud of smoke to shoot out when he landed. everyone looked at him in fear as he slowly walked through the town. and for every step he took the grass beneath his boot was burned to dust. he then stopped when he heard an echoing voice. "OOH, you must be this Brock i've been hearing soo much about." discord said deeply. "DISCORD......." Brock replied through clenched teeth. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY SON?!?!?!!!!! oh nothing yet my friend, but if you can find him before sundown you can have him back with no catches whatsoever. SO WHAT'S THE LAME RIDDLE THIS TIME DISCORD?.... oh fine i can see your in no mood to play games so i'll cut straight to the chase. look around town for what you seek, even though the answer is insanely bleak. to find what you truly want the most, first you must go back to your original post. Discord said evilly and laughed until it was nothing but an echo and vanished. Brock flew back to celestia and Silver at warp speed and landing hard enough to destroy a building. he was still in rage shift mode when he said as calmly as he could. "Silver im going to your old castle. take the princesses, gather twilight and her friends and hide in the castle here and stay here until i have discord's head slung over my shoulder. okay will do, come on princess." Silver said and started walking with Celestia. "rip his head off for me Brock." celestia said darkly. "with pleasure my Princess." and with that he shot towards the sky and warped through the air to the castle. "DISCORD I KNOW YOUR HERE NOW WHERE IS MY SON?!!!!! oh so you found out the riddle did you? yes it was quite simple actually you said my original post, and i've only had one job before the one I'm at now. hmm i guess that was a little too easy. fine then i'll come out and fight you. at least i'll bet some entertainment of this chaos free world." with that Discord warped to the throne room chair wearing a suit of all different color's and shapes. with deer antler's and something else incomprehensible. "so we finally meet face to face, eh Brock?" he looked at Brock and saw two swords were in his hands. each had white hilts, with blades made fresh from obsidian. "are those obsidian blades?"discord asked scared of the answer. "why yes they are, i figured, why not use my new obsidian blades seeing how obsidian is extremely poisonous to the race Draconiquuis. oh come on, that's not fair! fair? FAIR!? YOU, THE FUCKING GOD OF CHAOS, ARE GONNA TALK TO ME, ABOUT FAIRNESS?! I COULD HAVE JUST RIPPED YOUR PRETTY LITTLE HEAD OFF RIGHT WHEN YOU APPEARED BUT I DIDN'T!!! i wanted a little excitement in my first use of these swords." with this he lunged at discord who moved barely just to avoid being hit. "woah, wait a second! NEVER!!! NOW TELL ME WHERE MY SON IS RIGHT NOW OR I'LL TEAR YOUR ARMS OFF AND BEAT THE ANSWERS OUT OF YOU!!! okay, okay, okay! your son is in the hidden room nightmare put your gifts in! with this Brock sheathed his swords and grabbed discord by the scruff of his neck and dragged him to the door. Brock smashed discord's head against a wall. and then he opened the door with his magic. he saw his son in perfect condition and ran over to him, still holding discord. "now tell my son your sorry." Brock snarled. "i'm sorry." discord whimpered. "WHAT WAS THAT?! IM SORRY IM SO SO SORRY FOR KIDNAPPING YOU!" discord shouted while he was scared witless. "good thats better." Brock then smashed his fist into discords face and nocked four of his teeth out then dropped him and kicked him so hard in the chest you could just hear five of his ribs crack in half. after that Brock returned to normal. "now discord, if i ever see you anywhere near the people i care about again, im gonna have to rip your head off your shoulders and beat your lifeless body with your own spine. okay?" brock said with a smile. "y-y-yes sir." discord said loudly. "good, now get out of my sight." discord was gone faster than he could even blink. Starfire grabbed his dad and hugged him. "THAT WAS AWESOME DAD! thanks Star, there isn't anything i won't do to protect you. thanks dad. no problem son, now let's go get your mother, she must be worried sick!" with this Starfire climbed onto his dad's back and they bolted out of the castle.

Celestia's Confession

Chapter 2: Celestia's Confession

Brock and Starfire flew through the air from Celestia's ancient castle all the way to the throne room of Canterlot Castle. when they reached the throne room doors Brock landed and Starfire jumped off his back. "come on Starfire everyone is in here. okay dad." with that they both opened one of the doors slowly as they walked into the throne room. "were back!" Brock shouted. he could see celestia was still in tears and now Silver was too. "shh, it's alright they're both fine Silver." Twilight whispered. Silver looked up in shock. "BROCK! your alright! of course i'm alright why wouldn't i be? there's nothing i can't handle." Brock said confidently as Silver flew across the room and hugged him and Starfire. "thank you Brock. and i think celestia would like to thank you as well." Silver said as they walked towards Celestia, who had stopped crying. "t-thank you b-brock.... did you finish him? what? no of course not." Brock said a bit disturbed at the question. "why didn't you finish him off?!" celestia half shouted. "because i saw no need to, i put him in enough pain already so i decided to let him go with a death threat."  Brock said. "so what DID you do to him before you let him go? i knocked out four of his teeth, broke five of his ribs, and probably cracked his skull and then told him if i ever saw him near anyone i care about again that i'd rip his head off and beat his lifeless body with his own spine." brock said out loud. everyone in the room looked disturbed except for celestia. "and WHY would you so that?!" Luna finally asked him. "i wanted to make myself CRYSTAL clear with him that i was not to be crossed. or he would have to face the consequences." brock said darkly. "well, i certainly hope he got the message then." Twilight said to Brock. "oh believe me he did. but now then, Celestia why did you want me to kill him so badly?" Brock asked and everyone's attention turned to her. she looked around at everyone and sighed. "i guess it's no use keeping it a secret anymore. keeping what a secret?" Luna asked. "Discord was........ my first Boyfriend...." everyone gasped and Luna fainted. "but if he was your first boyfriend, why did you want me to kill him? BECAUSE HE BROKE MY HEART!" celestia shouted and started crying into her hands. everyone looked at everyone else. "what do you mean celestia?" AJ asked her. "Luna was just a teenager at the time. i was twenty eight and she was eighteen at the time and i had been dating him for about a week when her nineteenth birthday came around. the party was all set up and everyone was celebrating the event and everyone was happy. we celebrated her birthday and then about an hour after i told everyone about my relationship with discord and waved him in. he walked into the room and everyone but me him and luna gasped." celestia continued. "i asked what the big deal was and my father told me to stay away from him. i asked why and he told me that he was the god of chaos. i asked if that really mattered and said as long as i'm happy it really didn't to me." celestia started crying again. "my dad said as long as i was happy and safe it didn't matter to him. then about three months later my dad told me how discord was doing some evil things around the castle and told me to deal with him. i told him about it and he said that he would stop. i thanked him and went to tell my parents but when i got there i would never be able to look at him the same way again." celestia said and looked down as a tear escaped her eye. "what did you see?" fluttershy asked. "i saw Discord turn my parents to stone." Celestia said. everyone went silent as luna woke up. "what did you do then?" rainbow asked. "i ran and got luna and gave her three of the elements of harmony. the elements of loyalty, laughter, and generosity. i then took the elements of honesty, kindness, and magic. we ran into the throne room where discord was sitting on the throne laughing with the statues sitting next to him. luna and i used the elements of harmony on him and kept him encased in stone for the next thousand and a half years. we were never able to break the spell to free our parents." celestia said. " so are the statues here?" Rarity asked. "yes the statues are here, why? well maybe Brock could break the spell and return them their immortality." rarity suggested. "hey yeah! that might work!" pinkie said. "i'm not sure, i could work but i've never been able to get a spell breaker to work properly let alone be able to break a spell thats eons older than the ones i'm used to. but i could try for you princess." Brock said with a smile. "oh thank you brock, thank you." celestia said and hugged him. "well where are the statues located?" Brock asked and they all walked to the Sculpture garden. the statues were sitting on two pedestals side by side with an engravement under both of them. it had all of their information on them. "here they are Brock my parents. my mother Dawn Shine and my father Dusk Breeze." celestia said proudly. "wow, they both look amazing." Brock said. "yes they do look amazing." Celestia said. alright everyone stand back, i'm not sure if this will work. but if it does you will be reunited with your parents Celestia." with that said everyone stepped back away from Brock. everyone watched as Brock's horn began to glow a dark blue color. he clenched his eye's tight as he focused his magic on the statues. everyone gasped and looked away as a white light shot out of his horn and nearly blinded everyone. when they looked back everyone gasped at what they saw.

Chapter 3: A Deeper Revelation Dawns

Everyone gasped at the sight they were witnessing as Brock fell to his front knee and breathed heavily. he looked up to see if his spell had worked. to his everlasting pleasure it had worked, Celestia and Luna's parents were freed from the ancient spell that binded them to stone. "Your highnesses." everyone but Celestia and Luna said and bowed. the King and Queen of Equestria levitated off of the pedestal's and fainted side by side. everyone gasped as they saw the two fall over and Brock dived over to help them, even in his weakened form he was still incredibly strong. "Luna get the guards to help me, we need to make sure that these two are alright." Brock said shakily. "Yes Brock." Luna replied and darted into the castle. she came running back out with a whole squad of guards that helped escort Brock to the royal infirmary. Brock laid the two gently down on separate beds side by side in the infirmary and walked back into the garden. everyone was waiting to greet him with a barrage of questions. "how are they? are they gonna be alright? what happened to them?" everyone shot questions at him one after another. "calm down everyone! the doctor said that they're both going to be fine. being encased in stone for over a thousand years just took it's toll on the two. they'll be fine in a couple of days they just need to get some rest." after hearing this everyone calmed down and went home to get some rest, Brock especially needed the rest after pulling of a spell that large. everyone went to bed for the night and waited for the day to pass by. Brock was in bed sleeping when he started to wake up. he heard a slight breathing coming from behind him so he yawned, sat up and looked to see what it was. "AAH!!" Brock screamed and nearly fell out of bed as he saw pinkie pie sitting there, staring at him. "oh.... oh thank celestia.. Pinkie, what in the name of celestia are you doing in my bedroom at eight in the morning?!" Brock asked, a bit angrily. "oh is it really that early in the morning? i thought it would be later by now." pinkie said happily. "by now? what do you mean, how long have you been here?" Brock questioned. "about two and a half hours. i think." pinkie said and started thinking back. "and may i ask WHY you've been here for that long?" Brock said i little bit mad now. "oh silly, i ALWAYS wake up early for a birthday party!" pinkie said and ran out the door. Brock had calmed down and just chuckled. "well i should know better than to think pinkie, of all people, wouldn't do something like that." Brock said and chuckled again. "hey Silver wake up. huh? what is it?" Silver asked. "pinkie's in our house. oh that? yeah i know about that." Silver said and laughed. "of course you do and to think i thought it would be a surprise to you." Brock said and got out of bed and got dressed. he put on his everyday cloths a full black set of cloths. it consisted of a short-sleeve black shirt with a white circle and a crescent moon in it, black leather gloves, a black jean jacket with the same emblem as the shirt but on the shoulders, black jeans, and a pair of black biker boots. he put on his armor he got from Silver ten years ago over his normal cloths. Silver got dressed and put on her armor. both sets of armor were polished and shined just like they did over a thousand years ago. Silver had gone to wake up Starfire for the party. "come on Starfire wake up. it's time to get up and go to your birthday party." Silver whispered and he slowly got up and got dressed. Brock, Starfire and Silver walked into town and headed straight to Sugarcube corner where the party was set up. when the three arrived everyone was there. Twilight and her friends were all there with their boyfriends and husbands. Twilight was there with her boyfriend Stardust Moonlight. Applejack was there with her husband Jackson Brown. Rarity was there with her husband Sky Liner. Fluttershy was there with her boyfriend Shock Storm. Rainbow Dash was there with her husband Prism Shine. and Pinkie Pie was there with her boyfriend Blue Mist. they had all met and gotten together over the course of the time between Starfire's birth and his tenth birthday. it had seemed that after Starfire was born everyone started having good luck or better luck than before. "hey everybody!" Brock shouted as he walked in with Silver and Starfire. Brock had become good friends with Twilight's boyfriend and her friends boyfriends and husbands over time. they were a bit weary of him at first, seeing as how he was married to the woman who was once nightmare moon. but they got used to him and had become good friends with him. "BROCK what's up man?!" all six of the guy's shouted back. "Not much just came to celebrate my sons birthday. which is kinda' the reason this party is set up after all." brock said sarcastically. he walked over to his friends and started talking to them and Silver went to talk with her friends. Starfire had gone to introduce himself to Applebloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. "h-hello?" Starfire said weakly. "hey what's up?" Scootaloo asked. "m-my name is s-starfire. i'm Brock's son." Starfire said. he was still shy about making new friends. not nearly as shy as fluttershy but still shy. "oh it's your birthday today am i right? yes it is." Starfire replied happily. "hey i got an idea, wanna be friends with us?" applebloom asked. "i'd love to be your guy's friend!" Starfire said jumping up and down happily. "well that was quick." Brock said as he walked over. "hey dad, what's up?" Starfire asked happily as Brock walked over. "i was just coming to let you know pinkie's gonna be cutting the cake in a minute or so." Brock said and knelt down next to his son. "Hey Scoots, AB, Sweetie. Hey Brock. "they all replied. "wait... you know them? of course i do their some of my friends sisters. except for Scootaloo she's Rainbow's biggest fan." Brock said and stopped. "hey Scoots didn't Rainbow adopt you? yeah she did and it was the BEST day of my life!" Scootaloo shouted. "alright calm down Chicken girl." Brock joked and Scootaloo looked at him sourly. "NOT cool man." Scootaloo said. all of them laughed and walked over to the cake. everyone except Celestia and Luna were at the party. Brock asked why they weren't there and Silver told him Celestia had a project she was working on at the time and would be unable to attend. Brock understood and kept onward. "alright pinkie go ahead and cut the cake." Brock said. she did just that and passed out the cake and the real party had begun.

Back in Canterlot Castle Celestia was sitting in her chambers, crying, with her sister at her side. "shh, calm down sister. now tell me, what is the matter?" Luna said comfortingly. her sister was still crying as she looked to her sister and smiled weakly. "oh...... it's just that the memories of a thousand years past have come screeching back after the events last week." she said and started crying again. "what do you mean Celestia?" Luna asked. "i mean the memories of all the time i spent with Discord as my boyfriend and how happy we were together have just come running back to me and that's what's been bothering me." Celestia said. Luna looked out the window as if searching for something. "it's alright Celestia, it's alright." Luna whispered to her sister. "Thank you Luna, you have always been so kind to me whenever i need it." Celestia said and hugged her sister. "so do you still have feeling's for discord?" Luna finally asked Celestia. "what do you mean Luna?" Celestia asked, shocked at the question. "i said do you still love discord?" Luna said. "i'm not sure what to think of him anymore. i once loved him, and then i hated him. it's been a thousand years since then and i'm not so sure what i think of him anymore." Celestia said to Luna as they sat there talking. "i guess if i were tell you if i loved him or hated him i'd have to say........." Celestia stopped and thought long about her decision. "i guess i'd have to say that i still love him." Celestia finally said. "well then why don't you tell him that?" Luna asked. "because for one i have no idea where he is. and second what would everyone else think of me?" Celestia asked her sister. "that doesn't matter Celestia, what matter's is that you are truly happy. and if being with the god of chaos will make you happy then you do whatever you want to. and if you want to be with him i can find him for you." Luna said to Celestia. "thank you sister, i would truly appreciate it if you did." Celestia said and smiled for the first time all night. "well then i'll go get started on my search for him. you just some rest Celestia." Luna said to her sister and kissed her forehead and walked out of the room. Celestia laid down and went to sleep. Luna had begun the long task of finding a spell that would allow her to track down her sisters old boyfriend. it had taken her about an hour and a half to find the right spell but she found it. a tracking spell that would allow her to find out where discord was hiding by activating the spell on something that belonged to him. she flew to her ancient castle in the everfree forest and used the spell on some of his teeth that Brock had knocked out. she then created a glowing path that lead from the teeth to where he would be located. she flew through the air and followed the trail to a very far away cave. Luna landed at the entrance of the cave and her horn lit up ash she walked into the cave slowly. "hello? hello?" Luna said as it echoed. "who is it now? Luna stopped as she heard a familiar voice towards the back of the cave near a fire. "it's me Princess Luna." she replied softly. "and what do YOU want from me? haven't you and your friends caused me enough pain for one lifetime? or was my suffering not enough for you?" Discord asked her as she sat next to him. "i came to see how you were doing. and why would you of all people care about me?" Discord asked sourly. "i didn't come for myself. i came on my sister's request." Discord stopped and looked at her. "Celestia asked you to come find me?" Discord asked with a hint of hope in his voice. "yes she did i had spoken to her about her relationship with you eons ago and i asked her if she still loved you." Discord sighed and looked into the fire. "and she said she hated me right?" Discord asked. "no in fact she said if she had to pick and opinion on you she said that she still loved you." Discord's expression changed and his eyes shot up to luna. "she..... she still loves me?" Discord asked. "yes she does, and she said once i find you to give you a gift." Luna said and her horn began to glow. she lowered it down and touched Discord's head with it. after a flash of light shout out of the cave, Discord's body had been fully healed and all of his injuries were fixed completely. "so...... why isn't she here instead of you?" Discord asked after being healed. "she needed to get some rest, today was a very emotional day for her, with our parent's being revived and everything with you." Luna was cut off by a hand at her shoulder. "wait, did you say your parent's are back?!" Discord asked. "yes i did. but that doesn't matter do you want to come say hello to Celestia in the morning?" Luna asked hopefully. "I would be honored to." Discord said and smiled at her.

Chapter 4: An Ancient Love Reunited

Brock had unlocked Starfire's true power as a gift from him and he had been able to control it. everyone was happy about this and went home later in the evening happy as could be. Brock was proud of his son's power and carrie him home on his back when they went home. Silver went to bed when they got home and Brock got Starfire into bed. "good night dad. good night Star." Brock said and kissed his son's forehead and walked out of the room. he walked into his room and laid down next to Silver and went to sleep. Luna had returned to Canterlot Castle and written a note for Celestia and stuck the note to the door of her room. when Celestia woke up she got dressed and walked toward the door when she noticed the note sitting there. she picked it up and read it. "Dearest sister, i located Discord and spoke to him about our discussion and told him what you said." Celestia Flinched at reading this but continued to read anyway. "i told him that you said you still loved him and he was surprises to hear this. i asked him if he would like to stop by Canterlot Castle later today and he said he would be honored to join us for a while." Celestia nearly cried after reading this as she dropped the note and ran straight to her sister's room. she threw open the door and jumped into her sister's bed and hugged her as she woke up. "thank you, thank you, thank you Luna!" Celestia said as she squeezed her sister. "i see you got my note then. and your welcome it really wasn't that hard to find him, all i did was use a locator spell on the teeth Brock knocked out of his mouth and found him in a cave a very long distance from here. i spoke to him and used a healing spell on him to fix his injuries after i saw how badly his condition was. his eyes were red and his mouth was bleeding along with his head and shoulder and his chest." Luna said to her sister. "well thank you again sister for doing all that for me. so when will he be arriving then?" Celestia asked happily. "in about..... now." Luna said as a flash came from outside the door and the door opened slowly. "hello Celestia, Luna." Discord said calmly with a blank expression on his face as he walked into the room escorted by four guards. "hello Discord, it's been a long time since we last spoke to each other without anger in our voices, hasn't it?" Celestia said mimicking his expression. "hello Luna, nice to see you again so soon." Discord said and smiled. "nice to see you to Discord." Luna replied. "you may leave sirs we have this under control." both princess's said together. "yes your highnesses." the guards replied and walked out of the room. "so Discord how have you been?" Celestia asked calmly. "oh fine, thank you for asking. although being encased in stone isn't the most fun i've had but no less fine." Discord said as Celestia looked down to the floor. "yes i am truly sorry about that, i let my anger get the better of me and allowed myself to use the elements of harmony on you. and i sincerely apologize to you." Celestia said sadly. "oh Celestia don't be sorry, if anything it was my fault for turning your parent's to stone." Discord replied sadly. "well all of that is in the past now, let's just focus on the recent past and present." Luna said. "yes sister, so Discord what do you think of me after all that's happened in the past few years. has your opinion changed or is it still the same as it used to be?" Celestia asked him truthfully. "i think i should leave you two alone." Luna said and walked out of the room. "well Celestia in spite of all that's happened i would have to say that i still love you." Discord replied bluntly. "even after all i've done to you?" Celestia asked. "yes, Celestia and even though you imprisoned me in stone for eons to pass i still love you. everything i've done was for you to be happy." Discord said and looked down as a tear escaped his eye and dropped onto his pants. "all i've ever wanted was for you to be happy Celestia. that's all i've ever truly wanted. not eternal chaos, not to rule equestria nothing. just for you to be happy." Discord said and looked down and closed his eye's. he nearly jumped out of his skin when he felt a pair of arms rap around him and the chair nearly fall backwards. he opened his eyes and saw Celestia hugging him. he hugged her back. "that's all i need to hear, Discord. that's all i need to hear." she continued to hug him tightly for maybe two minutes. she then stood up with discord and walked into the throne room and Celestia sent a message to Twilight to gather all of her friends and come to the castle immediately. Celestia sat in the main throne with Luna to her right and Discord to her left when everyone arrived. "Princess Celestia we came as soon as we-" Twilight stopped and gasped. everyone stopped gasped behind her. Brock then flew through the air and was about to knock Discord from his chair when Celestia grabbed him with her magic and placed him on the ground at the base of the throne. "Celestia what is wrong with you?!" Brock nearly screamed. "BE SILENT!" Celestia shouted. everyone looked at her, amazed at the way she responded. the princess never yelled at anyone, ever. "i invited you all here to inform you that Discord is going to be staying in Canterlot Castle until further notice." Celestia said and turned to face him and smiled. "but Celestia-" Brock was cut off by Celestia's voice. "brock calm down, it's fine i've taken care of it. Discord has changed i assure you. you of all people should believe in change of heart especially since your married to nightmare moon." Silver and Brock both flinched at hearing this. Brock sighed. "yes princess." Brock said. and turned to face everyone else. they just shrugged at him and he looked back at Celestia. "so Celestia is there any specific reason for this supposed "change of heart"?" Brock asked her suspiciously. "other than the fact that we still love each other, no not really. Celestia said happily. Brock was dumbstruck at her reply. "yes Brock it's true, these two still love each other, despite all that's happened. and i for one believe it." Luna said to Brock calmly. "well if you believe it, then so do i." Brock said and smiled. he stood up and walked towards Discord. "i'm sorry for what i did to you last time we met Discord. no hard feeling?" Brock asked and held out his hand. "oh, Brock everyone deserves some forgiveness." Discord said with a smile and shook his hand. "friends? friends. "the two said and hugged. when they finished Brock walked down by his other friends. "So Discord, what will you be doing while your staying here?" Silver asked him. Celestia whispered something into his ear and he smiled and then laughed loudly along with Celestia. "oh Celestia always the funny one." Discord said and wiped a tear from his eye. "what's so funny?" Brock asked as everyone else started laughing to. "what? what's so funny?!" Brock asked a little aggravated. Discord snapped and a mirror appeared in front of Brock he saw that there was a hat on his head that was about four feet tall. he sighed and took the hat off and looked at Celestia. "very funny Celestia, very funny." Brock said sarcastically. "oh now THAT was priceless Celestia, just PRICELESS!" Discord said and continued laughing on the floor by the throne. "well well, i guess we have a little prankster in the castle now don't we?" Brock asked happily. "WHAT? you mean you don't know?!" Celestia shouted. "don't know what?" Brock asked a bit confused. "Celestia and i have had a prank war going on for about six years now!" Luna said and started laughing. "aah, that would explain it then." Brock said and laughed. they all sat there and talked for maybe a half an hour before everyone went home and continued their day normally. Discord had gone to bed early that night to rest up some. Luna had gone into the library to continue studying. and Celestia had gone to attend some important business from another kingdom. Brock had gone home and continued his Research into the spell that he had begun studying before he got married. he still hadn't been able to perfect the spell enough to be used on his friends and their families. he was almost at the verge of a breakthrough when Twilight came calling for him and Silver. he had lost where he was and had to start over again from where he last left off. it had only taken him about an hour before he had been able to learn everything about the spell and exactly how to cast it. it had only taken him another half hour before he could perfect the spell. Brock had called Twilight, her boyfriend and all of both of their friends and their families out into the field he had resurrected Silver in. "so Brock why is it you called all of us here so late at night?" Twilight asked. "i would like to give you all a gift for being my first real friends in over seven hundred years." Brock replied. "and what would that be exactly?" Applejack asked. "alright everyone listen carefully, for the past eleven years i have been working on a spell with a very wide radius that, when used, will grant those closest to me, and those closest to them, immortality." Brock said with a very serious expression on his face. "you mean that your going to give all of us immortality?" Rainbow dash asked excitedly. "yes Dash that's exactly what i mean." Brock said and smiled at them all. "so do any of you decline my offer? once the spell is activated there is NO going back. but the best part is that the spell's effect's will rub off onto anyone you ever become close friends with or if you develop closer relationship's it will do the same." Brock said calmly now. "so wait lemme' get this straight. your givin' us all immortality and your sayin' that any friends we ever make will also become immortal?" applejack asked. "yes AJ but the effects will only work on your friends so if your friends are immortal and they make friends they will not become immortal." Brock said and everyone huddled up and started whispering to each other as Brock stood there and waited patiently. everyone broke the huddle and stood side by side and stared at Brock with a blank expression. "so, is there anyone who declines my offer?" Brock asked one final time. everyone looked at each other and looked back at him silently. "Nope." Big Macintosh finally Broke the silence. "is that your final decision's then?" Brock asked with a very serious expression on his face. everyone shook their head's up and down. "then everyone stand in a circle around me and hold hands." Brock said and painted a white circle around them all and then painted some arcane lines inside the circle and he placed five lightning rods in a star pointed position around the circle and then stood in the center of the circle. he looked up to the sky and started chanting in an ancient language. "Kein Maferock Dormar Korol Sulyek Ill Tokera Pein No Kalovnera Pal Dinok Arck Dein Sontaros Colock Morah Suum Graan Fos Pock Arnilos Delonaros Mahenos Coneck Amletoras!" Brock shouted the last few words into the sky as five bolts of lightning shot down and hit the lightning rods and shot out into the other rods into a pentagon shape and then shot upward then back down straight into Brock and everyone gasped. "DO NOT BREAK FORMATION!" Brock screamed. they all stayed in the exact same positions as the lightning shot out of his body into the wight lines around him and the people around him absorbed the electricity and it disappeared inside of them causing them absolutely no pain and everything stopped in an instant. Brock had fallen over and fainted after the whole ordeal, as lightning coursed through his body. he took in the electric power of the lightning and gave the body of the lightning to everyone else. he took the dangerous part of the lightning inside of himself and gave the rest to everyone else. they rushed him to the hospital in Ponyville as soon as he had fallen over. he had awaken two days later in a hospital bed. "where....... where am i?" Brock asked as he woke up. "oh thank Celestia your awake! EVERYONE HE'S AWAKE!" Silver screamed into the hallway and a bunch of people had come running into the room. "oh Brock we thought we'd lost ya! you've been out for two whole days!" applejack said as she hugged him. "where am i? who are you people?....... who am i?"

Chapter 5: A Terrible Loss

"W-what did he just say?" Silver asked with a scared tone in her voice. "he asked who he was." Celestia said and looked around quickly. "okay everyone, tell me exactly what happened when he passed out!" Celestia said loudly. Rainbow Dash finally answered. "He said he was casting some sort of spell to do something to all of us." rainbow said with a hint of sadness in her voice. "alright so that answers that, now then, Twilight what did he say the spell was and what did he say it was going to do?" Celestia asked her student quickly. "he said it was an area effect spell and it was supposed to give us all....." Twilight stopped and looked down. "Give you all what?!" Celestia asked again. "immortality...." Twilight whispered into the princess's ear. her pupils shrank down at hearing this. she looked back at Brock and asked him a few questions. "hello there, do you know who i am?" Celestia asked him. "of course, your Princess Celestia." Brock replied happily. "good, now do you know where you are?" she asked him calmly. "uum, no not really." Brock said flatly. "your in a hospital." Celestia told him. "and why am i in a hospital exactly?" Brock asked. "i'll tell you in a few minutes, right now, do you know the name of the Kingdom your in?" Celestia said hopefully. "yeah i'm in the Kingdom of Equestria." Brock said and smiled at her. "alright good he still has memories of where he is and who certain people are. now then, what is the last thing you remember?" Celestia asked him. "umm, the last thing i remember is Princess Luna just hired me to be her Personal Advisor!" Luna, Celestia and Silver all gasped at hearing this. Celestia walked over to the group of people standing behind her. "he has no memories of anything from a thousand years ago all the way up to today." she told them. everyone gasped and pinkie started crying. " we will all have to help him get used to life here in this new surrounding area since he's used to the ancient castle we used to live in and well.... there's no going back there now is there?" Celestia said trying to brighten the mood. it hadn't worked however. "well his memory should return slowly in time but a thousand or more years worth of memories will take a very, very, VERY long time to recover from. although they should all return one by one from the time they vanished starting a thousand years ago and working their way up to the present." the doctor said to everyone as he left. "well that's the best good news i've heard all week! "Discord said as he warped into the room next to Brock. "ah, hello Discord." Luna said dryly. "i dont suppose YOU would have anything to do with this would you?" Luna asked and had it not been for Discords quick reply Celestia would have screamed at her for such an accusation. "no i don't Luna, i was in bed sleeping when a certain yellow Pegasus came and told me about the news. thanks Fluttershy." Discord said and smiled at her. she blushed and looked away. "now Luna if you'll stop accusing me of things i have nothing to do with, someone tell me what happened so i can try and help." Discord said and Celestia explained everything to him and he looked deep into Brock's eyes and then turned back and sighed. "i'm sorry,  but there's nothing i can do. amnesia isn't one of my strong topics. especially when it comes to fixing it. if there was some way i could help him i would do it in a second." Discord said and started stroking his beard in thought. "hmm, wait a minute.... alright Twilight and Silver you two search through your library for any way to help speed up the amnesia recovery process or a way to cure it completely. and you two, Celestia and Luna, you two get the royal guards to search through the royal library for the same topics. i'll head to my own personal library to search for the same topics. everyone if we want to help him soon then we have got to get going. move, move, MOVE!" Discord shouted and warped into his library. "alright everyone Twilight get your friends to help you at your library and Luna and i will get the royal guards to help us search the royal library. alright people let's get going!" with that everyone ran out the door and headed in two separate directions. Discord was in his library deep beneath the ancient castle of the royal pony sisters. looking through his old books. "no.... no... no.. no. no, no, NO!! aah! how am i supposed to help him if there is nothing in here on amnesia?!" Discord shouted. "wait a minute..... to help someone in need of something you must think like someone in need of something....... so in order to help an amnesiac i have to think like an amnesiac." Discord said to himself and laughed. "well that's easier said than done." Discord said and laughed. he continued searching through his books all night until he fell asleep. he woke up the next morning to the sound of a message arriving in his room. his head shot up from the book he fell asleep in and he grabbed the message. he opened it up and read it. "Dear Discord, Silver and i have finished searching through my library and there was nothing on the subject in my library. i hope the princess or you have better luck than us, Sincerely, Twilight Sparkle." Discord closed up the letter and continued reading when he heard another message appear in his room next to him. he sighed and opened it up. "Dear Discord, Luna , the guards and i have found only one book on the Subject of amnesia but there are some complications with the book itself you may want to come over right away to see it yourself. Sincerely, Princess Celestia. P.S Luna said sorry for accusing you of causing the amnesia." Discord set the letter down and warped into the royal library. "Celestia! i'm here where are you?" Discord shouted. "over here Discord!" Celestia shouted back. he sprinted over to where her voice was coming from. he stopped when he saw the royal translator sitting in front of the book. "alright what seems to be the issue?" Discord asked. "alright Discord we only have one book on the topic and it seems it's written in a language that is far older than i am and i have no idea what language it is, and i was hoping you would be able to translate it for us." Celestia said as Discord sat in the chair in front of the book. "Amnesia simptomları və bərpa dəfə." Discord read the title of the book. "hmm, this is a language i haven't had much practice in but i can try i know how to translate most of this but it may take me half a day at most to be able to translate everything important." Discord said. "so your saying you CAN translate it?" Celestia asked. "yes i can celestia don't worry if there is something in this book that can help brock you'll know about it by the end of the day." Discord said and smiled.

Chapter 6: Discords Mistake

Discord had stayed awake for hours on end, leading late into the night. he was determined to find a cure or at least some way to help his new friend. "alright Discord, gotta stay awake. gotta find a way to help Brock." Discord said to himself as he nearly fell asleep over and over again. he nearly fell asleep one final time when he read something that made him shoot wide awake. "wait, what is this?" Discord asked to himself. "hmm, this can't be...... it can't possibly be this easy.... can it?" Discord questioned as he read through a passage on a cure for amnesia. "i didn't think it could possibly be that easy! but apparently it is.... i must go tell Celestia at once!" Discord said to himself as he stood up and turned to go tell her. he nearly jumped out of his skin as he turned to face her not a foot away from him. "AAH! oh, oh it's you princess...." Discord said gasping for breath. "yes it's me, now what did you want to tell me?" Celestia said, a bit amused if anything. "i found a cure for brock's amnesia in this book!" Discord half yelled with excitement. Celestia's eye's widened in disbelief. "alright what is it then?!" Celestia asked filled with hope. "it's a spell, but it can't be used by any normal magic. it's a spell that an ancient group of creatures devised to cure amnesia. that race was my ancestors."  Discord said to Celestia and her eye's shrank. "so.... your saying only you or another Draconiquuis can use the spell?" Celestia asked. "that's the idea Princess, my ancestors devised the spell so that only they could use the spell, should anyone come down with a case of amnesia." Discord said. "my ancestors were very gifted magic users we were among the very first ones to use magic. my ancestors were alive long before the alicorns were born." Discord said proudly. "so will you help cure his amnesia?" Celestia asked hopefully. "yes Celestia i will cure his amnesia but there is just one problem." Discord said and looked down. "what is it Discord?" Celestia asked. "the spell will put him into a week long coma and when the week is over he will awaken and all of his memories will return to him instantly." Discord said. Celestia looked disappointed. "is there anyway you can avoid the week wait in between?" Celestia asked. "i'm afraid not Princess. in truly sorry but if you want him to have his memory back before hearth's warming eve fifteen years from now, then you'll have to wait a week." Discord said to her. "alright Discord i'll go tell everyone the news and you get to work on the spell. alright?" Celestia told him. "yes Princess i'll get started right away." with that discord jumped into the air and warped away. celestia teleported into the hospital room that Brock was staying in. "Mister Fireheart, you have a visitor." the nurse said to Brock as he lay in bed. "go ahead and send them in." Brock replied. Discord walked into the room. "hey Brock how are yo doing, the doctor told me you remembered your name right?" Discord asked as he locked the door behind him. "yeah, and i remembered a few other things about myself that really aren't important but yeah i remembered my name." Brock said with a bored tone in his voice. "good, good. now Brock the princess has asked me to come here to conduct a spell on you that will help you recover your memory far quicker than the natural process will." Discord said as he closed the blinds by the window and locked the window. "alright then let's get this over with. it's sucks not being able to remember anything." Brock said in a laid back tone. "whenever your ready..... uuh... what's your name?" Brock asked. "just call me Discord." Discord said to him as he started the spell. he looked deep into Brock's eyes and hypnotized him into remembering everything he could about himself and everything trying his hardest to bypass the coma effect of the spell but being unable to. Brock closed his eye's and went to sleep. Discord sighed and unlocked the door and the window as everyone ran into the room and asked if everything was okay. "yes, yes everything's fine he just need's some "rest" so to speak." Discord said to Celestia and the others. "were you able to avoid the week long coma?" Luna asked. "i'm afraid not Princess i'm sorry but in a week's time, he will have his memory back. the spell was a complete success." Discord said with pride. everyone smiled and walked home to get some rest. they were all very drained from this day both emotionally, and physically. they all went home and got into the bed. "aah, finally i can get a good night's sleep." Discord said to himself as he laid down in bed. Discord would finally be able to get a good night's rest for the first time in over a thousand years. as Discord closed his eye's he he felt like some part of his body was becoming weaker and weaker and then he opened his eye's and he saw something rise up from his body and appear in front of him at the foot of his bed. he gasped and almost screamed. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Discord shouted at it. it only turned and looked into his eye's.  discord gasped as he stared into the black pit's where it's eye's should have been. it looked exactly like him in the sense of body shape but it's cloths were different and it had no eyes. "your worst nightmare......." it whispered at him and then discord fell asleep and couldn't wake up.

Chapter 7: The Beginning Of The End

Everyone had gotten a good night sleep and had met up at Sugarcube Corner to plan a party for Brock when he woke up. Pinkie was, Naturally, the one to set up the party. Rarity set up the decorations. Applejack set up the party food. Rainbow dash sent out the letter's and invitations to the party, with Fluttershy's help. and Twilight was, of course, the one to keep track of everything. everyone was helping with something to get the party set up. the Princesses even offered to hold the party in the main hall of Canterlot Castle. the six friends had gladly excepted the offer and were now doing everything on their power to make the party as good as it could be. Applejack, Big Macintosh, A.J's husband Jack, and now old enough to help Applebloom were all helping gather apples to make the food. Rarity and her husband Sky Liner were handling the decorations in the main hall. Pinkie and Blue Mist were baking the cakes and handling setting up the party events and making sure everything was good for Brock. Rainbow Dash, Scootaloo, Fluttershy, Prism Shine, and Shock Storm were passing out the invitations. and finally Twilight, Stardust, Luna and Celestia were keeping everything in line and organizing everything. everyone was happy to be helping with something. but then Celestia realized something, or more specifically, someone was missing from the list of people helping. "Twilight, have you seen Discord lately?" Celestia asked her student quietly. "uum, no not since he cast the spell on Brock no. why have you?" Twilight asked. "no i haven't and i'm beginning to get worried... i wonder where he could be?" Celestia thought to herself. she walked off and teleported to Discords room to see if he was awake. "hello? hello?" Celestia called as the only sources of light she could see were some dimly lit candles through the hallway. she walked down the hallway and looked into a few of the rooms she finally reached his bedroom there was a brighter light coming from inside but still a dim light, if anything. she reached for the door handle when she heard a very, VERY deep, low voice from inside. "well now discord i know you may not be able to hear me in the state your in now, but if you can i have waited so long to finally be free from that RECHED thing you call a body." She heard the voice say. she had no idea who it was or where it came from she just listened. "i have been with you since the first day you began to hate Celestia's parents. the first time you were almost torn apart from her by her parent's i was created. i am the most evil part of your mind become a reality. that is what TRUE discord is, was, and always SHOULD BE!" the voice started getting louder. "i have been confined to your mind until now, i was happy there being able to control most of your mind and causing you to do terrible things.... but the day the weak FOOL LUNA came to you and told you about what Celestia thought of you i was locked into the back of your mind." Celestia heard the voice hiss the last sentence or two. "i was locked into the deepest reaches of your mind until i was strong enough to break free from it. i am the worst possible part of your mind come to life. and now that you are in the same state as that weak fool Brock i will be free to imprison you and build my strength enough to TAKE OVER EQUESTRIA!!!!!"the voice said to Discord and laughed maniacally. then Celestia saw a white flash come from the room and she quietly left the tower to go warn Twilight and the others. she sprinted into the room gasping for breath. "Princess Celestia what's wrong?!" Twilight ran over and helped her over to a table. "someone has done something to Discord and is planning on taking over all of Equestria." Celestia managed to force out. "what? who is?" Rarity asked her as she recovered. "i didn't get to see him but he said he was the worst part of Discords mind brought to reality. he said that he was created the day my parents tried to separate us from each other. he also said he put Discord into a coma and that he was going to take discord into a dungeon and hide until he was strong enough to take over equestria!" everyone gasped and looked around. "we must cancel the party and begin preparing for the worst case scenario if this madman does somehow become strong enough to defeat me and my sister we will need to have support to help us from falling into defeat." Celestia said as a set of golden armor appeared on her body with a golden sword at her side. Luna saw this and her own set of night blue armor appeared with a light blue sword at both of her sides. "alright everyone come to the royal Barracks with us we will have the blacksmith forge you each a set of armor with the shape and color of your choice." Luna said as her and Celestia walked away. everyone followed then to the armory. they stopped when they a large guy standing over the forge with a no-sleeve shirt on making some weapons. "Blaze, i would like you to meet my Personal student and her closest friends, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie." Celestia said to the big guy. he wasn't a pegasus or a unicorn so he must have been an earth pony. "pleasure to make your acquaintance." Blaze said and bowed. "and how can i help six fine ladies like yourselves today?" he asked turning back to the forge. Luna spoke to him first. "they each require a set of armor of their color choice." Luna said to him as she walked over to his side. "alright so what kind of armor would you six like to get today?" Blaze asked them. they all asked for a full body set of armor the same color of their cloths with their cutie marks engraved into neck the of the armor. "alright i can do that just give me about four hours at most and i'll have the armor forged, cleaned, engraved, shined, and improved to it's finest by then and i'll be able to start on your weapons." Blaze said as he reached back and opened a box and grabbed a huge chuck of purple metal and threw it into the melter and started throwing coal into it. "alright everyone let's leave Blaze to his work and go get started on your training." Luna said. they all followed her to the training hall and looked around in awe at the size of the room. then they looked at the armored woman training with one of the guards. she was wearing a pitch-black set of armor and was using a black sword with a white handle. they had no idea who it was but they stared in awe at her skill. they watched as she tripped the guard and pinned him down to the ground with a sword at his neck. "well, well, well you have improved since you began training here." Stone shield said to the Armored woman. "well i learned from the best!" she said as she took off her helmet and turned to face the Princess's. "oh hey Luna, Celestia."  Silver Star said to the Princess's as she walked over. "good day Silver, how has your training been coming along?" Luna asked. "well as i'm sure you can see i have improved quite drastically since i began training with Stone Shield." Silver said as she pointed to the guard brushing himself off. "wait.... let me get this straight.... your a sword-fighter?!" Rarity asked in disbelief. "Rarity, of course i am! i've been training with Swords since i was till part of luna's mind!" Silver said with a laugh. "so Celestia i take it your here to get me to train them aren't you?" Silver said sarcastically and laughed. "why, yes i am actually." Celestia said with a smile. Silver stopped laughing and stared at her with disbelief. "your kidding..... your kidding right?" Silver asked. "no Silver i am completely serious. i require them to be trained so that when the time comes they will be able to fight off the evil being that has incapacitated Discord and imprisoned him somewhere." Celestia said with a plain expression on her face as Silver sighed. "fine i'll teach them what i know. but don't expect a miracle." Silver said and looked at her friends. "you know guys i'm not trying to be ignorant or mean but i haven't seen any potential for fighting in you since i was nightmare moon, and that was only with the elements of harmony. but i'll do my best to help you get ready." Silver said reassuringly to her six friends. "i presume you've already met Blaze and he's working on your armor am i right?" Silver asked as she grabbed everyone a training sword. "yes Silver we've already been through the armory and are now here to train." Luna said. "alright then who want's to train with me first?" Silver asked her friends. they looked at each other. "fine aah guess i'll go first then." Applejack said as she stepped forward. "alright Applejack, LET'S BEGIN!"

Chapter 8: The Elements Of Balance part 1: Defensive combat

Silver Star had been chosen by Princess Celestia herself to train the six friends who wielded the elements of harmony in a different way for each of them. Celestia made this fact VERY specific when she informed her about the training program. she had told Silver that she would train them all Separately day by day until they were all ready. after they were all done training they would each represent two elements of two different categories. The first to be trained would be Applejack, she represented the Element of Honesty, one of the six elements of harmony. Silver would train her to be more durable, defensive, and strong. "So AJ, how do you like the training so far?!" Silver shouted as she trained Applejack by throwing attack after attack at her shield. "Not.... to..... bad Silver...." She managed to stutter out between attacks. "well, the easier it gets for you to block these attacks, AND still hold your ground without moving the sooner this segment of your training will be over." Silver told her after taking a moment to let them both rest for a moment. "and can i ask why your trainin' me to be able to do this?" Applejack asked her. "Celestia want's me to train you each in a different combat related way." Silver said. "and what do you mean by that Silver?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Celestia has asked me to train all six of you in a very different way. each of you will be trained to wield two different elements. one element of Harmony..... and one element of Balance." Silver said. "what are the Elements Of Balance?" Twilight asked enthusiastically. "the Elements Of Balance are a long forgotten combination of combat related objects that are used in times of crisis and war." Silver said. "they have not been used in over five thousand years. long before even Celestia's ancestors walked the world. they were used to end the very first war in Equestrian history. The six Elements of Balance are: Offensive, Defensive, and Speed combat. then there are the elements of Ranged, Melee, and mental combat." the six friends looked back and forth between each other. "so who will hold what element?" Rainbow Dash asked. "alright Dashie calm down." Dash blushed at the use of her nickname as her wings shot up and her friends giggled. "alright everyone, settle down," Luna said still snickering. "each of your training will have three parts. the final of which will be the same for all of you, it will involve all of you working on your physical strength by working out." the thought of this made Fluttershy, Twilight and Rarity shudder. "yes that's right, WORKING OUT, it's soooo terrible." Silver said to the three who shuddered. "Twilight you will be the second to be trained. Rarity, the third. Pinkie, the fourth. Fluttershy, the fifth. and Dash, the sixth since she trains physically enough day to day." dash stood up taller at this with pride. "don't get cocky dash, your trainin' with me after Applejacks next two segments are done. Applejack, i'm going to train you to be more durable and more defensive in combat this is the defensive part of the test. the more you can take without having to stop, the less your enemy can dish out to you before you can take 'em down!" Silver said and smashed a fist into her open palm. "well Applejack wanna get back to it?" Silver said and pulled out her broad sword again. "let's get started sugarcube." Applejack said as she smacked a hand against the shield she was carrying. "you five should all go home and get some rest for your training tomorrow." Luna said as the two began training again. everyone walked out of the room. "so Applejack how are you doing over there?" Silver asked. "fine.... Silver..... gettin'....... a bit..... easier to..... withstand..... each hit...." Applejack grunted between each hit. "good, good. wanna take a break for a minute?" Silver asked. "nah, i'm fine.... if you wanna...... keep goin'..." Applejack continued to grunt between hits. "i'm startin' to get a bit worn out on this end. i think im gonna take a break for a little while in minute." Silver said breathing more heavily now. they continued training for about five more minutes before Silver got worn out. "damn AJ..... you got much better much quicker than i expected you to." Silver said as she gasped for breath. "yeah, i do work on a farm after all.... so i gotta be durable to handle that. i didn't expect myself to be better than you at it though. and you've been trainin' with swords for what? two weeks now?" Applejack said as she drank a mug of cider. "yeah, it's been about three weeks now starting tomorrow." Silver replied picking up her own mug. "yeah it's been a rough three weeks but it was all worth it to be able to be able to bring back the Elements Of Balance." she said as she took a drink from the mug. "i can't believe that, Me of ALL PEOPLE, with my past and the mistakes i've made in my lifetime that i would be able to bring back the greatest force of peace in the history of the world." Silver said as a tear came to her eye. "hey, sugarcube, what's wrong?" applejack asked her. "nothing i just can't believe that if it weren't for Luna's jealousy and hatred of her sister over a thousand years ago i wouldn't even exist in this world. and the fact that if i didn't exist the world would fall into everlasting chaos because of the worst part of Discord's mind becoming reality." Silver said with a whimper in her tone. "oh calm down Silver it's not your fault at all...... im not sure it has anything to do with you at all actually." Applejack said reassuringly. "thanks AJ you really are the spirit of Honesty. now then your defensive training it complete wanna get started on your durability training?" Silver said as her attitude perked up right away. "sure Silver let's get goin'. so how are we gonna do this now?" Applejack asked. "alright im gonna try to force you back behind that line by smashing into you with this shield while you try to stand your ground without moving at all." Silver said as she grabbed a huge pitch black shield off of the wall and polishing it. "this is my personal shield, hand made it back when i was nightmare moon along with this armor. it's unbreakable, do wanna know what i made it from?" silver asked with a grin on her face. "alright i'll bight, what did you make it from?" Applejack asked nervously. "dont worry it's not anything bad i made it from a meteor that landed a few miles from my ancient castle. what happened was i brought it back to the castle with the help of some of my soldiers and melted it down myself and forged an unbreakable set of armor and a sword and shield. with the leftover meteor parts i melted them down and had them forged into jewelry with diamonds and other jewels encrusted into them thats where i got this hemet jewel and these necklaces." Silver explained to her. "wow must have taken ya an awful long time to make all that. so does it work?" Applejack asked as Silver put her helmet on. "what? i asked if the armor works." Applejack repeated. "yeah it works if it didn't i wouldn't be using it." Silver said as she and AJ got into position. "i guess that would make sense." Applejack said as she readied herself and Silver ran towards her. she smashed her shield into Applejacks and she pushed her back about two feet. "AAH!!" Applejack grunted as she flew backwards, her feet sliding across the ground. "sorry AJ but thats exactly what's gonna be happening on the battlefield." Silver said as they set back up to retry. "wait did you say Battlefield?" Applejack asked as she readied herself again. "yeah i did why?" Silver started to charge again but stopped. "woah, woah, woah wait a applepickin' minute.... where did the battlefield come from?" applejack said throwing down the shield. "it is an ancient tradition that when a battle between royalties takes place not only will the royalties battle each other, they will wage war on each other." hearing this sent a shiver down Applejacks spine. "wait..... is.... that why your trainin' us?!" Applejack asked angrily. "yes of course it is, had it just been a battle between discord and you six there would be no training involved whatsoever." silver said calmly. "so what do you mean a battle between royalties i thought we were fightin' Discord?" AJ said with disbelief. "we are. but seeing how Discord is not only the last Draconiquuis in existence, he is also a descendant of the Draconiquuis king." hearing this again sent a shiver down AJ's spine. "wait so you mean Discord is a King?" she asked and readied herself again with her shield in hand. "no not until he is married for now he is just a prince without a princess." Silver replied as she ran forward and rammed AJ again this time barely being able to move her from the spot. "wow it seems just talking makes you stronger." Silver said as she studied Applejacks form. "yeah i always have been one of the strongest people i know." she said with a snicker. "no i mean, talking literally makes you stronger in the sense that i can see you get stronger the longer we talk about this. here let's try one more time." she said as they both readied themselves one final time. silver ran forward and rammed AJ much harder this time. she was shocked to find the results. she opened her eyes and saw AJ hadn't moved at all and that she was still standing in the same position she was before. "amazing..... just completely amazing." silver said studying Applejacks body. "what's amazing?" Aj finally asked her. "you may have the gift of true brute force!" Silver half shouted. "and that is?" AJ said a bit startled. "when someone has the trait "True Brute Force" it allows their strength to increase ten times faster than anyone else there is and in just about any way possible! for example:talking, training, exercising, and pretty much anything else imaginable!" Silver said to her "well congratulations Applejack your training is complete." Silver said and bowed. "what about the third part?" AJ asked. "if you really do have the gift of Brute Force then you won't need it. with that gift just moving at all makes you a little bit stronger. now go get some rest and tomorrow morning send up Twilight." Silver said as AJ left.

Chapter 9: The Elements Of Balance Part 2: Mental combat and Ranged combat

Applejack had walked to the Canterlot train station and boarded one of the trains to Ponyville. "huh.... i wonder how she'll train Twi in the mornin'..." AJ asked herself but decided not to dwell on it and just inform Twilight to stop by the training hall when she woke up. about a half hour later and Applejack got off the train and walked over to Twilight's place. she knocked on the door three times and checked her watch to see what time it was. it was eleven thirty p.m. Twilight opened the door and smiled. "Back so soon AJ?" Twi asked. "yeah, she said that i didn't need to train my muscles because i have a trait called Brute Force." Applejack said and shrugged. "wait, did you say Brute Force?" Twi asked her friend as she sat down. "yeah i did is it something important?" AJ asked her. "the only thing i know about it is that it's one of the six legendary traits possessed by the original bearers of the elements of balance. i dont know much about the six but all i know is that each of them are ancient, and extraordinarily powerful when used properly." Twilight said as she rubbed her chin in thought. "so what are the other five traits?" Rainbow dash asked. all six of them were now in the room since AJ had arrived. "the six elements are: Offensive, Defensive, Speed, Ranged, Melee, and Mental Combat. the six traits are: Stone Heart, Brute Force, Limber Bones, Hawk Eye, Steel Bones, and Calm Mind." Twilight said with a shiver. "when they are used on their own they can be very powerful and dangerous if used improperly. but when used together AND improperly?" Twilight stopped and shuddered. everyone looked at each other and then back at Twi. "so can you tell right now who is who?" Dash asked. "well all i know is that Applejack is the element of Defense because the trait she has belongs to that element." Twilight said and everyone looked at her. "and i think we ALL know Rainbow's the element of speed." Applejack said sarcastically. "oh right, then Dash, you have the trait limber wings. and before anyone asks each of them has a very special effect on the possessors of the traits. Limber Wings makes it so that when your flying you can fly at a minimum speed of around 200 miles per hour. Brute Force makes it so that even BREATHING makes the possessor stronger. Calm Mind makes the possessor immune to distractions as to be able to do anything with magic. Stone Heart makes the possessor very emotionally strong and they can,t be distracted by anything in their past that can hinder their combat abilities. Hawk Eye makes the possessor be able to see up to fifty miles away and be able to aim and shoot farther than anyone alive. Steel Bones makes the possessors fists and feet stronger than steel." Twilight said as her friends listened in awe at her words. "the only one's out of all of us i know which they are are Dash and AJ." Twilight said. "the elements of balance are the strongest force of power, peace, and good that has ever been created. they are far more powerful than both of the princess's and any other alicorns in existence combined. the elements of balance were the force of power that was used to end the very first war in the history of the world. if they were to fall into the wrong hands the world could very well end." Twilight said with a shudder as everyone gasped. "that is why we were chosen by fate to be the holders of the Elements of Harmony and Balance. right now we are the greatest force of good in all of equestria. but when our training is complete and we discover each of our second elements we will be the greatest force of power in the history of the universe!" Twilight said with a half-shout. everyone was paying extreme attention as she finished speaking. "but the reason i came here was to let you know that Silver wants ya to head up to her training hall as soon as you wake up." AJ said as she stood to leave with the other four. "thanks for the information AJ i guess i'll see you guys when my training's finished tomorrow." she said as she waved goodbye and went to go get into bed.

she woke up at around seven thirty and ate breakfast. she teleported into the training hall and saw silver standing there with a sword pointed at the ground staring at her. "you are early." Silver said calmly. "Early? it's-" She was cut off by Silver's voice. "i know very well what time it is..... i had just expected you to arrive later than this. although i should have expected as much from my half-sister's star pupil." she said with a smile. Twilight blushed and walked towards her. "well i am here and ready to learn." Twilight said as she felt the cold of something rest on her head. she opened her eyes to see a sword resting on her head. she started shaking. "be calm Twilight Sparkle, i wish not to harm you, this is the beginning of your training." she said still smiling. "and what d-does this have to do with training?" Twilight asked with a scared tone. "it is training you to be calm no matter what, even in the face of mortal danger." Silver said, her smile fading. "m-m-m-mortal d-danger?!" Twilight shuddered. "i will train you to master the trait of Calm Mind....." Silver said and breathed inwards and closed her eyes. Twilight gasped and stared as her eyes widened. then they shrank back as the sword lift and started flying back towards her. she barely dodged the blade as it hit the ground where she sat. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!" Twilight screamed. "training you to keep calm in even the most dangerous of situations. now i want you to avoid all blows i throw at you using just your mind and body." Silver said. "and HOW am i supposed to dodge a big sword with my MIND?!"Twilight asked. "mental combat is the greatest form of magic, young one. it has been mastered by many powerful mages over the eons of existence. you will be the next to be able to do it. see, you are the strongest magic user in equestrian history that wasn't an alicorn. if anyone can use her mind to do battle, it will be you." Silver said. "just focus all of your magic into your mind and concentrate. if you truly are the element of Mental combat then you can do this task with ease. go ahead and try." Silver said placing her broad sword into a sheathe. "try what?" Twilight asked. "focus all of your magic into your mind and use it to levitate your body off the ground. first take a position like this." Silver said as she sat down and crossed her legs. Twilight did the same. "now hold your arms away from your body and close your eyes. then hold your pointer finger and thumb together and concentrate. this process is called Meditation." Silver said as she began to think. "first you must clear your mind of all thought, and focus on nothing but your mind and transferring all of your magic to it." Silver said as her body began to glow. the glow moved through her body until only her head was glowing. "once you feel your magic inside your mind use it to levitate yourself." Silver said as she began to float off the ground as her horn stopped glowing. Twilight watched as she began to circle the room without using her magic. her eyes opened and looked at Twilight. "go ahead and try it for yourself, it truly is exhilarating to be like this." Silver said as she watched Twilight begin to focus. Silver smiled as Twilight began to slowly float off the ground. she opened her eyes and saw herself floating above the ground without using magic. Twilight smiled to herself, still focusing she began to float around the room alongside with Silver. "excellent, Twilight your advancing faster than i had hoped. i think you may be ready for the next level of this exercise." Silver said spreading her legs and landing on the ground. "and what is that?" Twilight asked as she landed. "avoiding being hit by physical objects. this exercise involves mental teleportation." Silver said as she warped behind twilight using her mind. Twilight was dumbstruck at this. "how did you do that?" Twilight asked silver as she followed her into the courtyard. "simple when that much magic is focused into your mind at one time all you have to do is think about something for a moment and it can become reality." Silver said as they walked. "wow..... so if i were to do that and imagine spike inside of a rock it would happen?" Twilight asked Sarcastically. "yes actually that would happen if you focused on it hard enough." Silver said. "wait your serious?" Twilight asked. "of course i am. anything you imagine when in that state can and will become reality." Silver said as they stopped. "alright twilight focus your magic again and be ready to warp out of the way of the attacks i throw at you." Silver said as she unsheathed her sword and held it up. Twilight focused her magic into her mind. "alright im ready." she said as silver lunged at her. Twilight opened her eyes and saw she was standing behind silver. she kept warping away from Silver's attacks until they both got tired. "well done Twilight, you have done very well so far. now there is one final test you must pass before you can leave." Silver said. "and that would be...." Twilight said and stopped as silver threw a sword into the air and levitated it onto Twilights hands with her mind. "fight me using your new abilities." Silver said as her sword flew into the air from her hands and started waving back and forth in the air. "just fight my sword with yours until i say stop alright?" Silver said. "sure thing Silver." Twilight said and her sword flew up and did the same. the two had gone back and forth for about maybe twenty five minutes before they stopped. "well Twilight your training is complete, go back to ponyville and send up fluttershy." Silver said as she smiled. Twilight left and fluttershy came in about twenty minutes later. "aah, Fluttershy, you have arrived." Silver said mystically. "y-yes, Twilight told me you wanted to see me?" Fluttershy said as if she was in trouble. "calm down dear child there is no need to be afraid here. i assume twilight told you of our training exercises then?" Silver asked with her eyes closed. "y-yes thats a bit of the reason im nervous." Fluttershy said. "oh Fluttershy don't worry the training you are going to receive includes nothing dangerous, in fact your training is the safest of all. even a bunny could pull it off with the right attitude and strength!" Silver said with a chuckle and a smile. this made Fluttershy smile. "oh thank goodness, i was worried it was going to be dangerous." She said with a sigh of relief. "yes Fluttershy this will be very safe for you to train, but when in combat it will be very VERY real and in the right position, will be very dangerous. im not going to hold anything back, war isn't pretty, and it is far more dangerous than people like rainbow dash realize. some people assume it's all fun and games until they experience it for themselves." this brought a tear to Silver's eye. "but anyway, the dangers of war are very real and VERY dangerous. i want you to be prepared fluttershy, but you need to toughed up." Silver said kneeling next to her friend with her arm around her. "i'm not trying to be mean to you Shy, but you do need to toughen up." Silver said hugging her friend. "thank you Silver..... i've been waiting so long to hear that from one of my friends when it's not out of anger. thank you." Shy said to silver while hugging her. the two smiled and looked out the window together. "well, we should get started then." Silver said as she walked over and grabbed a bow and a quiver of arrows. "here take these, you will need them for your training." Silver said. "and why do i need a bow and arrow?" Fluttershy asked. "because i am going to be training you to harness the power of YOUR trait, Hawk Eye." Silver said as Shy's eyes lit up and she smiled. "i knew that would be your reaction. now lets get stared, first tell me, how strong are you?" Silver asked her friend. "oh im not sure i really never try to lift anything more than a couple of bunnies. so i doubt i'm that strong." Shy said truthfully. "well lets just see about that." Silver said as she grabbed a large black bow off of a rack and handed it to Fluttershy. "don't try to lift this as hard as you can, this is an incredibly heavy bow which is unbreakable and hand crafted." Silver said as she handed the bow to Shy. Silver nearly fainted at what she saw next. Fluttershy gripped the bow and held it as if it was nothing more than a baby bird. "b-b-but h-how is that even p-possible?!" Silver half shouted as Fluttershy took aim with the bow and fired an arrow at a target and ripped a hole in the middle. "i had no idea i was this strong, i wonder what else i can do!" Fluttershy said as she concentrated on something in the distance. "hey i can see that bunny over there! and that deer and those birds!" Fluttershy began calling out different types of animals and Silver looked to see the animals. "i can't see anything all i see is little moving-" Silver stopped and looked at Fluttershy's eyes. she had the eyes of a hawk. the eyes of a hawk are a bit different from a dragons eyes a dragons eyes were naturally only four different colors. a dragons eyes were, as far as anyone knew from sight, only Red, Green, Grey, White, and Blue. they also had the features of having a lighter or darker shade of the color the eyes were with dagger shaped pupils. a hawks eyes were similar to a dragons but with the whites of their eyes actually...... white. and thicker pupils. Shy had the eyes of a hawk and she could apparently see everything that Silver couldn't. "aah, you have realized your potential and you have unlocked your traits ability." Silver said and Shy's eyes returned to normal. "what do you mean?" Shy asked. "i mean you unlocked the ability to use your trait, Hawk Eye." Silver said. "here one second use the traits ability and follow me with your eyes." Silver said as she grabbed a target post and flew it down about fifty miles away and telepathically communicated with Fluttershy. "alright Shy it's me, Silver, if you can see me shoot an arrow at the target." Fluttershy heard and grabbed the bow and fired a bulls eye with it. it landed right next to Silver and she jumped. "DAMN! NICE AIM SHY!" Fluttershy heard Silver say and began firing arrows to spell out tree. "GREAT JOB SHY!! alright im comin' back over there." Silver said and grabbed all the arrows and the target and flew back to the castle. she landed next to Fluttershy an placed all the arrows in the quiver. "that was a damn nice job Shy, i don't think anyone in all of equestria could have shot better than that." Silver said and Fluttershy blushed and looked away. "alright Shy, your training is almost complete there is just one more test to complete." Silver said. "and what would that be?...." Shy said and looked in another direction. "a little competition between you and me, an archery competition." Silver said with a smile. "and there WILL be a prize, otherwise i wouldn't even bring up the competition." Silver said and she grabbed her bow and arrow. "and the prize is?" Fluttershy asked a bit interested now. "that will come later. on it will be determined by choice of the winner." Silver said to Fluttershy. "alright then let's get started!" Shy said and grabbed her bow. Silver grabbed her bow and the two aimed and fired ten arrows each. the score ended with Fluttershy as the winner. Silver scored four bulls eyes, three red rings, and three blue rings ending with a score of: sixty seven points. Fluttershy scored seven bulls eyes and three red rings ending with a score of: eighty four points. Fluttershy obviously won the match. "alright Shy, you beat me fair and square what do you want as a prize?" Silver asked with a smile as she took a sip of cider. Fluttershy had to think carefully about what she was going to say. "hmm....... i want......" she stopped,  shrugged and looked at Silver while she took another drink of cider. "after this whole Discord business is over with i want you, Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna to have a sleepover with me and my friends." she said to Silver. Silver's eyes shot open, shrank down and she spit out the cider she was drinking. "excuse me?" Silver said gasping for breath. "alright Silver, i know you heard me." Fluttershy said with a sarcastic look on her face. "i know, i did hear you, i just think i misunderstood you. is that seriously what you want?" Silver said. "yes it is, can you do that?" Shy asked. "umm, probably i think i can get that to work. Luna and Celestia have always been fun, open minded people. yeah sure i can get that." Silver said and hugged Fluttershy. "alright i'll get that arranged go ahead and get some rest at home, tell everyone the news and tell Rarity to come up when she wakes up in the morning." Silver said and walked off.

The Elements Of Balance Part 3

Chapter 10: The Elements Of Balance Part 3: Offensive combat

Fluttershy got back to ponyville after about a seven minute flight. she stopped by Twilight's library where everyone else was already talking about her training as she listened through the door. "i wonder how she's training Fluttershy...... i hope she's alright, she is such a fragile little thing." Rarity said. "oh don't worry Rarity, im sure she's just fine. my training was much less dangerous than AJ's after all." Twilight said as Fluttershy walked through the door. "Hey there Shy how was the trainin'?" AJ asked. "oh it was great! i discovered my traits abilities right after i got there. and afterwards the training itself was amazing!" Shy said as she sat down. "you know, i've never really talked to Silver much or been alone with her long enough to speak with her. but since we were the only ones in the training hall we had to do something to pass the time as we were training, so i struck up a conversation. and one thing lead to another and we became really good friends and we had a friendly competition after my training was complete." Fluttershy said with a smile. "what kind of competition?" Rainbow dash asked with a grin. "an archery competition. she said that the prize was whatever the winner wants, within reason of course. i ended up winning by a lot of points so she asked me what i wanted and......" Her voice trailed off and she blushed and looked down. "and? what did you ask for?" Rainbow asked right in front of Fluttershy now. "i asked if we could have a sleepover with her and the princesses after everything is over." She whispered into her ear. Dash's eyes grew wide and she smiled and squealed with joy. she flew around the room and everyone watched, still very confused. "what did she say Dash?" Twilight asked. Dash stopped, composed herself and continued. "Twi, i think you'll really LOVE the prize she chose." Dash said with a wink. Twilight didn't get the hint and stared at her. "what did she ask for?" Twi asked. "Fluttershy, the shyest person in all of equestria, just got ALL SIX OF US a guaranteed sleepover with Princess Celestia and luna and Silver!" Dash nearly squealed as all of her friends except Twilight Squealed with joy. "hey Twi, you alright? you look a little pale." AJ said. Twilight twitched a few times and almost fell over. she sat back up and she jumped into the air and let out an ear shattering squeal that could deafen a dragon. "alright i'll take that as a "yes Applejack im fine" then." Applejack said with a chuckle. "how did you do it Fluttershy?! i've been trying to get a sleepover with the Princess since i was a filly!" Twilight said. "i won the contest and told Silver that's what i wanted, and she said that she would arrange that with the princess's." Fluttershy said as Twilight started hugging her in a bone-breaking lock. "alright..... Twilight.... your kind of.......... crushing me..." Fluttershy said between squeezes. "oh, haha sorry about that." Twilight said as she let her friend go. they all continued to talk for about five more minutes before they started to go home. "oh Rarity, Silver wants to see you first thing in the morning." Fluttershy said as they walked out the door. Rarity nodded and went home to get some rest.

The next morning she woke up to a note stabbed to her makeup stand. she picked it up and read it. "To Rarity, Don't even think about it..... i know your going to put on your makeup but you need to come here right now. signed: Silver Star." she read the note and frowned. "fine, we'll do it your way miss Star....." Rarity said and began to walk outside. "i just hope this "training" of hers is worth it.... although Fluttershy did seem to enjoy it.... eh, what's the worst it could be?" Rarity said as she teleported into the training hall. she was just about to find out. when she had arrived in the training hall she saw Silver staring into her eyes about two inches away from her, slouched over to meet her height. "woah, why are you staring at me like that? it's creepy..." Rarity said as she backed away a little bit. "your late. it's eleven thirty already, your training was supposed to begin at seven." Silver said as she began floating around the room with half closed eyes. "SEVEN O' CLOCK?! ARE YOU INSANE?!" Rarity shouted. "i am most certainly not but my senses may be a bit dulled. i haven't had a good nights sleep in over two months." Silver stopped to think. "come to think of it, i haven't even thought about sleeping in over two months." Silver said and shrugged and landed in front of Rarity. "are you serious? why haven't you slept in so long?" Rarity asked sitting her friend down on a bench next to her. "i think it has something to do with Discords reappearance. it has kept me somewhat....... uneasy since he came back. i know he is a changed person and i, especially right now, have nothing to worry about. but i still can't let my guard down. and his clones appearance doesn't help matters any." Silver explained as she stood up. they walked over to the balcony and looked out over equestria. "it's beautiful... isn't it?" Silver asked as they stared into the sunlight. "i can't believe that i once tried to destroy all of this........" Silver said as s tear dripped from her eye. she caught in in her magic and lifted it up in front of her. she toyed with it moving it around into different positions, shapes and areas before dropping it. "oh dear, it's not your fault you had no idea what you were doing, you weren't even YOU back then. and she was so young and didn't quite understand why the people did what they did. she couldn't help it, she felt ignored and alone. she just wanted someone to appreciate her...... she just wanted to be loved....." Rarity said with a tear gracing her eye as well. "thank you rarity, you truly are a great friend." Silver said as she hugged her friend. "you are as well Silver.... you are as well. now we should get started on my training am i right?" Rarity asked. "yes we should come on follow  me." Silver said as her wings expanded and she flew down into an open field and landed. Rarity focused her energy and warped down next to her. "uum, is there a specific reason why we are in a field with nothing around but dirt?" Rarity asked looked terrified. "yes this is part of your training. you are the element of Offensive Combat and you must learn to fight in any terrain. that means lakes, rivers, mountains, grassland, caves, urban areas. and BEST of all!......" Silver paused for dramatic effect and smiled evilly at rarity. "dirt........" she said to rarity with an evil smile. "are you just trying to get me to freak out?" Rarity asked sarcastically. "sure, i guess i can try for that. why do i get a reward?" Silver asked using a pinkie pie-like tone. this could only make rarity laugh. "you can do impressions of us?" Rarity asked. "sure i can do all six of you almost perfectly. who do you want to hear?" Silver asked with a smile. "hmm...... oh OH! do Applejack!" Rarity said. "alright here goes......" Silver breathed in and then out. "hey Rarity why are you scared o' dirt? it doesn't hurt see?" Silver said rolling around in the dirt. "oh that is SOOO Applejack now do Twilight!" Rarity said with excitement. "hi my name is Twilight Sparkle, and i live inside a tree surrounded by books. i don't do anything but read and study in my free time and i live with an owl who reads." Silver said and started laughing. "alright i wouldn't go that far but that does sound like her now do rainbow dash." Rarity said. "hey i'm Rainbow Dash and i love showing off, and i'm the only person to ever do a sonic rainboom." Silver said and imitated Dash's flying pattern. "that is a perfect imitation of her!" Rarity said and rolled on the floor laughing. she wiped a tear from her eye and laid there. "now do pinkie pie." Rarity asked her. "aah, now that is a challenge." Silver said and cracked her knuckles. "hi im Pinkie Pie, i throw parties almost nine times a day! i know every person in Ponyville! i can make anyone smile just by looking at them! i bounce when i walk around! i don't breath when i talk, i can catch rainbow dash in a race, and i can defy the laws of physics, gravity, science, and possibility ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!!" Silver said all without breathing. she stopped and sat there for a second and then fell over and laughed for maybe four minutes alongside Rarity. rarity was pouring tears out from laughing and she finally managed to stop. " that..... that was priceless Silver. oh i know, do me." Rarity said as Silver managed to recover. "Greetings my name is Rarity, i love fashion and am the perfect woman." Silver paused a moment to see her friends reaction. "well from what i think that was perfect so far but keep going." Rarity said with a smile. "i am DEATHLY afraid of dirt and won't go anywhere near it. safe for the fact that i've been rolling around in it for the past six minutes." Silver stopped and saw Rarity's eyes shrink down as she looked at herself then looked around. "AAH! DIRT, DIRT EVERYWHERE!!! GET IT AWAY FROM ME!!!" Rarity screamed then stopped and stared at her friend. "im joking Silver. i really dont care anymore, i mean if im afraid of dirt then i would be afraid to go outside because dirt is everywhere." Rarity said and stood up. "so how was this part of my training exactly?" Rarity asked as she helped her friend get up. "i told you, you need to learn to be able to fight in any terrain. and that means being able to take being in the terrains for long periods of time." Silver said and threw a sword to Rarity. she caught it and examined it. "wait..... you mean i actually have to fight fight?" Rarity asked. "yes you do Rarity. i know your not the fighting type but thats why im training you to be a soldier. by the end of the day you'll be able to beat me in a fight!" Silver said with pride. Rarity shrugged and opened her eyes. Silver gasped when she saw them change from their normal light blue color to a crimson red color. Silver smiled as she thought back to her studies of the elements of Balance and remembered that the element of offensive combat had crimson red eyes. they began to fight and after a few minutes and a few different fighting terrains Rarity had Silver pinned to the ground with a sword in her face. "well, well, well look who's beaten who now?" Rarity said as she pulled Silver to a standing position. "don't get to cocky Rarity you are the element of offensive combat after all." Silver said as she placed a sword on her shoulder. "I know that Silver, i was just joking around" Rarity said with a chuckle as the two warped back to the training room. Silver placed a hand on Rarity's shoulder. "now there's one final part of your training rarity." Silver said with a stern look in her eye. "and what would that be?" Rarity asked. Silver backed up a few feet and split into about forty copies of herself. "fight all of us at once in a real battle." The copies said all at once. Rarity twitched a few times and she nearly fell over at the sight she just saw. "all of you at once? are you KIDDING ME?!" Rarity half shouted. "yes if you truly are the element of offense then you must be able to fight large numbers of enemies at once. you must also be able to handle fighting many different opponents." Two of the clones said one after another. all of the clones except for one drew their swords. the clone that didn't draw it's sword floated into the air and changed the form of itself and the other clones. all of the clones took the shape of skeletons while the floating one took the form of an evil looking discord. "and not only must you be able to handle all of these enemies. you must also be able to fight them off without taking a break. this is no longer a game. this is no longer training. this is a real battle. prepare to have a taste of what the actual battle will be like. for This! is the army..... OF CHAOS!!!!" the clones each said one by one until they all shouted at the same time. "alright then, LETS GET STARTED!" Rarity said as she raised her sword. "just know that every time one of us gets injured we will retract back into the top clone which is the original." one of the clones said. then they charged rarity and rarity charged them. twenty minutes later Silver was back to her original self but with cuts all over her body and a few deeper than others. "sorry dear, i got a little...... carried away with the fight." Rarity said as she continued to bandage her up. "no, no it's fine that was the point of the exercise. i was trying to make you get the feel of being able to fight an enemy to the fullest no matter what." Silver said, flinching a few times as Rarity disinfected a few of her wounds. "what i don't understand is why you lost so easily and why your full body was effected by the attacks." Rarity said a but confused. "well you see rarity, an alicorn is only immortal because of the amount of magic they posses. but when i split myself into multiple copies each of them took a small amount of my magic with them, in turn, making me weaker. but the reason i was effected was because whenever my clones get injured, depending on the severity of the injury, it would injure my full body as well. a small injury would be nothing but a small cut on my body. a large injury would be a small injury to me. and a mortally deadly injury to clone like death would be a very large injury to me. thankfully you didn't kill any of the clones or i'd be even worse than i am right now." Silver explained as Rarity helped her stand up. "yes i am truly sorry about that dear. i wish there was some way i could make it up to you." Rarity said thinking. "i'll let you know if i think of anything, but for the moment the only thing i could ask from you is to go home, tell pinkie pie to come up here in the morning, and get some rest. now go on i just need to sit down and rest for a little while." Silver said as she sat down. Rarity smiled and teleported home to tell everyone the news. Silver stood and walked toward the balcony. she sat and stared out into the distance. as she looked up and saw the moon high into the sky. Silver smiled as she looked at the moon, and then she remembered her time there, binded to luna. Silver sighed and looked back out into equestria. "i can't believe anyone would want to destroy all of this, even though it is more beautiful during the night, i can't believe i would want to make it like this forever....." Silver stopped and looked down, a tear escaping from her eye. it hit the ground and exploded like a drop of water should. Silver flew into the air straight up and landed on the top of the Canterlot tower. she looked out into the distance, past the borders of equestria. Silver gasped at what she saw, she flew to the edge of the furthest mountain and looked closer without leaving the boundaries of equestria. "i hope time will move faster...... for we do not have much more of it." Silver said out loud to herself as she looked to see an entire army of the dead approaching. "for the army of chaos approaches." She said to herself. she made an estimate of how long they had until it reached the borderline of equestria from the country to the west. they had about a day and a half at most....... which was all it would take for his awakening........

Chapter 11: The Elements Of Balance part 4: Melee combat and Speed combat

Rarity got home and walked into Twilights library only to be met by Silver and her friends. "Silver dear, i thought you were resting?" Rarity said. "i was but i came to get Pinkie Pie and Rainbow dash right now. their training must take place immediately or equestria is doomed." Silver said as she stood to face them. "you two must come with me right now if we wish to save equestria." Silver said. "why Silver what's wrong?" Rainbow asked. "because discords army approaches the border of equestria from the west. we must hurry come on!" Silver said grabbing both of their hands and warping them into the training hall. "now girls come on we must train starting now. Rainbow go work out until were done or just do whatever. Pinkie, come with me." Silver said motioning her to follow. Pinkie followed and rainbow flew out of the room. "alright pinkie you are the element of Melee combat and i will train you to use that in combat. your trait is steel bones and it makes it so that your punches and kicks are stronger than steel. go ahead try it out." Silver said and motioned to the wall. "you want me to punch a wall?" Pinkie asked. "yes, now go ahead and try it out. don't hold back just go all out against the wall." Silver said and sat down Pinkie shrugged and looked back at the wall and punched a hole in it. "WOAH i didn't know i could do that!" She half shouted. "yep thats the trait steel bones for you. now try kicking the wall." Silver said. pinkie smiled and kicked the bricks out of the wall. she turned and smiled at silver. as soon as silver was about to start speaking Pinkie started bouncing around the room. "alright Pinkie, calm down. now that we know you can use your abilities lets get started training." Silver said and created about fifteen soldiers out of her magic. she had learned her lesson about training them herself last time. the soldiers were each coated in armor with a broad sword and shield. Silver told them to stand at attention and wait for her to speak to them again. Silver then handed Pinkie Pie a pair of white pants with a shredded bottom and cuts in the legs, a whit shirt with a rip and a cut in the side,  a pair of black fingerless gloves, a red headband and a black tie belt. she walked out of the room and put them each on and walked back into the room. "good now fight these soldiers. dont worry their made of magic, just go all out against them."  Silver said motioning them to charge pinkie and attack her. "alright lets get started!!" Pinkie said as she cracked her knuckles and started fighting them. one by one they fell bloody and broken only to evaporate back into magic and return as another soldier. pinkie had conquered every soldier that came at her before they even thought they had a chance. "very good Pinkie, your training is complete. can you go fetch rainbow dash for me please?" Silver said as she walked over to a bench and sat down. "okie dokey lokey!" Pinkie said as she bounded out of the room making punching and kicking motions. Silver just chuckled and stood to look out over the balcony once more. "our time grows shorter with every passing moment...." Silver said as dash burst through the door. "alright Silver lets get started! what am i gonna be doing?" Dash asked flying around the room. "your going to just go and sit over there for the moment." Silver said with a stern look. Rainbow blinked twice as if saying "uum what?" she just stared at Silver. "well, go ahead and take a seat." Silver said and motioned to the bench. "and why is it that i need to sit down when i'm supposed to be training?" Rainbow asked as silver stared at her with a stern look. then she smiled and started to laugh. "no one ever could pull a prank over on you, could they Rainbow?" Silver said laughing in between breaths. "uum, what do you mean by that?" Rainbow said starting to chuckle now. "oh, oh nothing i was just trying to get you to relax a bit. i mean your always so......" Silver paused to think. "energetic, focused, and competitive." Silver finished. "i just wanted you to lighten up a bit, nothing more. but i see that was a lost cause so lets get started on your training." Silver said as she walked outside and looked into the distance. she sat and stared until rainbow broke her train of thought. "uum, what are you looking at?" Dash asked. "look, there just over the mountain, can you see them?" Silver said pointing to the mountain range. "can i see who?" Dash asked as she looked. "come here i need to give you a gift." Silver said as Dash leaned over to her. "Skull Blackas Venn...." Silver whispered into her ear. Rainbow's eye's changed to match Silver's eye's. "woah what's happening? i can see myself and thats not natural." Dash said backing away a bit. "your seeing through my eyes its a spell Brock taught me. it allows you to see what i see so well it actually shows you what i'm looking at and how i see it. now look." Silver said turning her head to look at the army of chaos. "oh no...... how can we stop them?" Dash asked as her eyes returned to normal. the sun had started coming up. "we can't...... not without brock. he's the only one who will be able to defeat them, all Celestia's army can do is slow them down. if they make it to brock before he wakes up, the whole world will fall to discord....." Silver explained as dash listened as if she was listening to daring doo. "so lets get started, Brock should wake up in about nine hours and we need to train you for when they arrive in eight." Silver said. "how do you know when they'll arrive?" Dash asked. "i dont, its just an estimate." Silver said and created fifty soldiers with light armoring. "now then lets see how fast you can defeat all of these soldiers five times." Silver said motioning to the soldiers who were drawing there swords. Dash twitched as she looked at them and Silver threw her a broad sword. it was heavy but light enough that it could be swung fast and used with one hand. she liked the sword as she swung it around a few times. "well lets get started!" Dash said as she began to attack the soldiers. it had taken her about two and a half minutes to take them all down. they all rose back up and she did it one time after another. after she was done the soldiers lay bloody and dead at her feet. it had taken her maybe eight minutes top to take them all out five times and a row. she stood on the bodies shining with pride. "well how did i do, huh, huh?" Dash asked. "very very well.... but i think the element of speed could do better." Silver said with a challenging grin. Dash looked insulted at this. "hey, i could take these guys down once in TEN SECONDS FLAT if i wanted to." She said a bit angrily. "prove it...." Silver said smiling disbelievingly. Dash reared her head back and flew into the air as the bodies rose back up again. she flew down and cut down nine of them. she turned and cut down thirteen more. she flipped around and took down twenty one of them with her sword. she flew back and loop-de-looped and took down the rest of them. "see? ten... seconds... flat." She said holding the sword on her shoulder. "actually, it was more like nine seconds." Silver said with a happy look in her eye. "now do it five more times." Silver said as the bodies rose again. Dash did as she was told and finished with a time of about 45 seconds. she landed on top of the bodies and went to hand the sword back to Silver. "no, no, no go ahead and keep it. you've earned it after that time." Silver said holding up a hand. "wow, thanks Silver. this is one of the nicest gifts i've ever gotten. thanks, now i know you and i are good friends." Dash said as she hugged her friend. "oh Dash why wouldn't we be friends? if we weren't friends i wouldn't be training you would i? or would i have even talked to you if we weren't friends?" Silver said holding her friend. "well, i guess not. but thanks anyway." Dash said as she began to lift off. "wait up Dash i'm comin' with you." Silver said flapping her wings to go with her. "how come? you gonna talk to them about training more often?" Dash asked. "nah, i got a gift for each of them. even spike and all of your guy's pets." Silver said with a smile. "well then what are we waiting for? let's go!" Dash said as she bolted up ahead. "oh Dash... always the competitive one." Silver said and chuckled as she darted to catch up with her friend. they reached Ponyville after maybe two minutes. they stopped at Twilights house and knocked then walked in. "hey everybody, im back! and i brought a friend!" Dash said as her and Silver walked into the room. "hello everyone. how are you all?" Silver said sitting down in mid air. "Alright Silver i gotta get this off ma chest. That floatin' your doin' tight now? it's startin' to creep me out." Applejack said motioning to the air under her. "oh sorry, is this better?" Silver asked as she floated to the ceiling and sat on the ceiling upside down. everyone laughed except AJ. "that's not funny.... but i gotta admit that does look fun." AJ said as she rubbed her chin. she then started to freak out as she lifted to the ceiling to match the same position as Silver. everyone laughed this time, even AJ. "alright i'll admit, that was funny and this is pretty fun. uum, can i ask who's holdin' me up exactly?" everyone except twilight and silver looked around. no one was using magic. "Silver how are you doing that darling?" Rarity asked. "i'm not Twilight is, her training session was my favorite because i got to teach her how to levitate things and people and fight the same by using only her mind." Silver said as Twilight began lifting herself, her friends, and a whole different number of things into the air at the same time, all with her eyes closed. "alright Twilight don't start to show off remember your training." Silver said as she landed. "always remain humble to those around you." Twilight said in a low voice as she placed everything and everyone back onto the ground and shelves. "Well done Twilight, your training has progressed nicely." Silver said with a smile and Twilight blushed. "also i have a gift for everyone, i already gave Dash her gift. go ahead and show them Dash." Silver said and looked at her friend as she pulled out her new broad sword. "check it out, silver gave me this when i was done training she told me to keep this sword." Dash said as she moved it around. "alright dash time to put it away i have an actual gift for you this time." Silver said as she warped a huge bag into her lap. "alright everyone in honor of finishing your training i have these gifts for you. for Rarity, i have a bag of extraordinarily rare gems that were only found a thousand years ago." Silver said and pulled a bag of black, green, white, and purple gems. "some of them are findable today but quite a few of them aren't these black ones went extinct seven hundred years ago and the white ones around fifty years before Luna was banished. the black ones are called moonstones, they are luna's personal favorite hint hint. and the white ones are called essence stones. dont EVER let them anywhere near the dead. you don't wanna know what happens." Silver said handing the gems to rarity. "for Twilight, i have an ancient book from my personal library. it has every transfiguration and time spell known to equestria." Silver said as she handed the book to Twilight and she hugged it. "for pinkie pie, i have a party guide that will tell you at least six hundred different party styles and ideas. you'll never run out of combinations." Silver said handing her the guide. "for Fluttershy, i have a pet. she's a baby dragon. her name is Starlight." Silver said with a smile. "wait.... did you say a female dragon!?" Spike asked. "yes i did say a female dragon. and yes i know about the dwindling dragon issue and i have a surprise for you to tell the dragon council. i have an ancient storage room deep below my ancient castle with about twenty five dragon eggs stored there in cryogenic stasis. you can alert the council as soon as you wish, but first i have a gift for you Spike." Silver said and spike shot into her lap. "alright calm down now, here you are." she said as she handed him a small plant. "what is it? a bean tree?" Spike asked. "no it's a gem tree and you can keep it." Silver said as Rarity's eye's and Spike's eye's widened. "For Applejack i have a gold encrusted cowboy hat, a pair of gem encrusted cowboy boots, a pair of jeans that are made from a type of silk that can only be found in Princess Celestia's bedroom, and a golden vest for you to wear." Silver said as she handed all of the cloths to her. "and finally, for Rainbow Dash, i want to give you something that is very important to me. it's the very first sword i ever crafted when i was young. it's made out of the remains of a meteor that i melted down and made into the armor i wear right now. remember to keep it safe, and always remember it is unbreakable" Silver said handing the sword to her friend. "wow.... thanks silver.... i love it." Dash said as her and all of her friends started hugging Silver. "oh and one more gift for you spike. it's a very strange gift that can only be given to dragons." Silver said as she stood and kneeled next to spike. "Konarik Almotaro clinaren pal fortaros." Silver whispered into his ear and backed away. Spike looked around and noticed everything was unchanged. "what did that do?" Spike asked. he then felt a strange sensation in his entire body. "woah! what's happening?!" Spike said as he grew to the size of the princess's. "uum, can i ask what that did exactly?" Spike asked. "i used a draconic spell on you to grow you to the size of Princess Celestia or Luna." Silver said as Spike looked at himself. "and also i would like to give you this. it's a set of armor that my first bodyguard wore when he was alive. it's made from a combination of melted down gems and about seventeen pounds of melted obsidian. i think you'll take a liking to it." Silver said as spike tried it on. "it fits perfectly!" Spike half shouted. "it grows to meet the size of the wearer and it comes with a sword with a handle made of obsidian and a blade made of diamond and a shield made the same way as the armor." Silver said as spike hugged her and took the sword and shield. everyone hugged one more time and the stood up. "alright, time for the news i came to give you. we don't have much time we must evacuate Ponyville IMMEDIATELY or discords army will kill everyone! his army approaches from the mountains to the west. I will warn Celestia and Luna but you two need to get everyone in Ponyville into canterlot right now and take brock up to the balcony of my training hall and leave him there he will awaken in about six hours. Discord will be here in about four and a half hours. You MUST evacuate Ponyville and get everyone to canterlot as fast as possible. now i want everyone on their way to canterlot either by sky, foot, or whatever else there is in thirty minutes or less. now go, go, GOOOO!!!!!!" Silver screamed with the royal canterlot voice and warped to canterlot.

Chapter 12: When In War Darkness Will Prevail

Silver arrived in canterlot faster than she expected. She she sprinted into the throne room of the castle to see Luna and Celestia standing in the middle of the room talking about something. "Princess Celestia, Luna the time has come to defend our homeland........ Discords army approaches...." Silver said with a stern, militaristic look on her face. "we don't have much time until they arrive, Twilight Sparkle and the others are evacuating Ponyville and everyone is headed to the City of Canterlot right this moment. we have around four hours until Brock awakens and about three and a half to three hours until discord reaches ponyville. we must move every soldier available into ponyville and set up a blockade between the City of canterlot and the mountain across the valley. I have already ordered every possible man in ponyville be trained to fight and remain in ponyville with the soldiers to fight off Discord. the body of the Comatose Brock will be placed on the balcony of my training hall surrounded by a barrier that can only be broken from the inside. Brock will be protected until he awakens and we will hold off Discord long enough to give him time to awaken." Silver said to the two. "and why is it that we cannot stop Discord?" Luna asked. "Because princess Luna, you know not the ancient language in which to activate the strongest spell in the history of existence. it was created by your parents four hundred years before your time. Dusk and Dawn used it to create life on barren wasteland planets like this one once was. but it was also used to destroy life....... it is called "Kael Hormar O Ragnarok" which translates to "The Hands Of Annihilation" or as it was used by your parents "The Hands Of Existence". Silver said as luna held a hand over her mouth. "it is the greatest spell to ever grace the universe..... but it is also the worst. Your father used the hands of annihilation to wipe planets clean of life and your mother used the hands of existence to create new life." Silver said with a sigh. "such a beautiful and painful process... i wish you would have been there to see it for yourselves...... many alicorns once walked this world long before your parents. i was one of them, my name was Shadowmare. i was trying to bring about everlasting night to overthrow the prince of the ancient land we stand on now. his name was Fire Storm, and he was my brother..... he had a dear friend he loved like a brother and i took him from him.... we were at war at the base of this very mountain and it was his army against mine. i had finally found my way to him when i was about to kill him, his friend jumped into the way of my shadow blade. it pierced him through the heart and faded into his body like a shadow and poisoned him........ the last words that Lightning Striker spoke before leaving his death were these: Thank you for the best life a man could ask for Fire..... but now it is time to go.......... Loyal to the end....... my King........" Silver stopped and started crying. she stopped herself and looked back at them. "Fire Storm closed his eyes and let a tear escape from it. he uttered the words "how many lives Sister? is one life enough..... or will thousands fall before you are satisfied?! he stopped and looked at me. his eyes were white with rage as he floated into the air. he screamed into the night sky: "THE NIGHT WILL RULE EQUESTRIA NOOO MOOORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" as he did a white light flashed from his body and he was gone i never saw him again... but i was not left to rule as i was sent adrift in time for five hundred years until i broke the spell. i was released the same night nightmare moon was created." Silver stopped as The two princess's gasped and looked at each other and then back at her. "yes it is no coincidence that Nightmare was created the same night i was released. i possessed luna to fight against the sun once more. i had only been through the thousand years i was alone with Luna that my memories bonded with hers and i changed from Shadowmare to Nightmare Moon. i am sorry Luna but we will have to discuss this matter later right now we have a planet to save!" Silver said as the three flew out the window to alert the army.

about two and a half hours later the men of ponyville had been trained and were awaiting the army of day and night to arrive. the whole town was arriving in Canterlot just a few moments ago. the elements of harmony and balance stood at the barrier that separated the two armies. behind them stood the men of ponyville with armor and any weapons they could use to bring some real hurt on others. just as the army of Chaos approached they stopped and looked at their foes as the army of day and night approached from behind the residents of ponyville. Silver, Dusk, Dawn, Celestia, Luna, and Starfire all sat flying high above their army. "DISCORD!! HEAR MY CALL!!" Celestia screamed. "IF YOU WISH TO SURVIVE THIS DAY YOU WILL CALL YOUR ARMY BACK TO THE DEPTHS OF HELL AND RETREAT WHILE YOU CAN!!!" Celestia continued to scream. "Me? Retreat? HAAAAHAAHAAHAAHAHAAAAA!!!! oh Celestia you always tell the funniest of jokes. now lets get this show on the road already!" Discord screamed back to her. "so be it....... everyone!! our two armies approach one another!! A time of war is upon us!! if we fail in this battle only one thing awaits us..... should we fail, RAGNAROK APPROACHES!!!!!" Celestia screamed to her army. "NOW MY ALICORNS INTO THE SKY!!!!!!! TO WIN, OR DIE!!!!!!!!" Celestia screamed as her and the other alicorns flew into the air. "FOR THE PRESERVATION OF EQUESTRIA AND PEACE, ATTAAAAACK!!!!!!!!" Dusk and Dawn shouted in unison. both armies charged one another smashing into each other with excessive brute force. an army of pegasi sat flying above the army of night and day firing arrows at Discords army. his army returned fire with their own arrows. "keep fighting everyone!! we have to hold them back for a half hour more and this fight will be ours!!" Luna screamed. both armies held each other so well that the battle came to a standstill in area movement terms. it had taken about twenty minutes for Dusk and Dawn to call for a retreat back to canterlot. everyone was falling back as the sky archers held the Chaotic army at bay. everyone had reached Canterlot on foot or through the air but everyone was safe except for the large number of soldiers that were injured. very few people had actually died in the battle's and they would be remembered by everyone as the hero's of the first Equestrian war in five and a half thousand years. "KEEP ATTACKING HIM!!!" Silver shouted as the alicorns and her attacked Discord directly. Discord activated a spell and knocked Dusk and Dawn out cold. they plummeted to the earth landing in the training hall after breaking through the roof. he attacked Celestia and Luna and threw them to the ground at the entrance of the Castle. "Four down, two to go......" Discord said as he turned to face Starfire and Silver. Silver pulled out her dual obsidian Blades and hid her son behind her. she charged him and cut off his right hand and shoved a blade through his side. both hit's sending a deep poison shooting through his body as he grabbed her by the throat and threw her down to the ground in Ponyville. "i've waited soooo long for this day." Discord said as his hand regrew and ha walked towards Starfire. he pulled out a sword from thin air and held it above his head and was about to drop it on Starfire when he heard a noise. Brock's eyes shot open and he looked to see Discord. "NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!" Brock said as he warped in front of Discord. Discord slashed at Starfire but was blocked by Brock's arm. Discord gasped as he saw brock floating in front of him. he was wearing a full pitch-Black set of armor covered from head to toe in armor made from pure Darkness. he held two swords at his sides made of Darkness as well. Discord was scared of the man that stood before him. but what scared him the most was his eyes. Discord looked into Brock's eyes and moved backwards some. his eyes were not the same as they were normally a bright turquoise color with a sky blue outline an dragon shaped pupils. now they were all pitch black except for the pupils. the pupils were the only thing that made them look like eyes, they were pure white. Brock's hair was also a bright white color as he looked into Discords eyes as if he was staring into his soul. Brock pushed away Discords sword and raised his right hand to his left shoulder and smacked Discord to the ground with lightning speed. Brock just sat there floating in mid air as the smoke from the crash cleared. he turned to face his son and hugged him. he looked into his eyes and warped him and all of the other alicorns onto the balcony of the training room so they would have a perfect view of this once-in-a-lifetime event. they all awoke violently and watched as Brock stared at Discord. no one moved, not the alicorns, no one. even both armies were still with fear at the sight they were witnessing. "haha Brock well done, you sure know how to pack a punch don't you?" Discord said as he moved his arm and leg back into place. he was then pinned to the ground by bars of steel that impaled the ground around him and held him in place. "Discord, you are here to be tried for crimes against harmony. you are tried with the crimes of reeking chaos, Threatening The lives of royalty, Bringing war in a time of peace, attempting to destroy peace in equestria and all of the world, and attempting to murder billions of people all at once. do you deny these charges?" Brock asked calmly. "do i DENY these charges? of course not!" Discord said with a laugh. "then by law of the true King and Queen of equestria, Dawn Shine and Dusk Breeze, i have no choice but to sentence you to immediate execution by any means necessary." Brock said as his hand began to ignite with fire. his body started sparking with electricity as a fire ball appeared in his left hand and a lightning ball appeared in his right. he held them together until they became one. "Kein pal Korack santaros maferock ill pein ko sulyek talnor interos amletoras korol ansatores emlenoren keal pon kalovnera neyek pon sulyek intero contros intarno krein yol Kael Hormar O Ragnarok!!!!!!" Brock screamed as he pulled his hands back behind his back and held them together. everyone watched in awe as the light disappeared from around equestria and the sun and moon disappeared. suddenly, everyone was blinded by a bright yellow, orange and black light spiraling through the air until it combined into one pitch black beam of light that was so bright it could be seen in the pitch black darkness. it flew through the air, ripping apart the sound and speed barriers as it struck it's target. for about five minutes all that could be heard were the screams of the god of chaos. "NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT CAN'T END LIKE THIIIIS!!!! IT JUST CAAAANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Discord screamed as he started to evaporate into dust. his skin began to burn to pieces and he tried to escape but was held down. he suddenly burst into flame and disappeared into the darkness. the black beam disappeared and the sun and moon reappeared. Brock just sat in the air holding the bottom wrists of his hands together as his hands smoked after firing the beam. he pulled his hands back and looked to see the other alicorns standing at the head of the army of day and night along with the elements of Balance and Harmony. Brock's wings flapped ever so slightly as he landed on the ground in front of Celestia and Luna. he held his right hand up to his left shoulder again but this time he spun around and fired a similar beam of energy all across the army of Chaos, evaporating them on the spot. he turned and faced Celestia and bowed. "thy holy princess of light......." Brock stopped and looked up at her with a hand on his chest. "tis done....." he whispered and then looked back down only to warp away to where no one could find him. "What just happened to him Silver?" Luna and Celestia asked in unison. "that was something i hoped i would never have to witness again......... it is a shift for the guardian of Nightmare called "The Wrath Of Eternal Darkness" it is activated when the guardian sees someone hurt me." Silver said as she picked up the helmet Brock had worn. "does anyone know where he might have gone?" Silver asked and no one replied. she cast a tracking spell on the helmet. she gasped and dropped the helmet and started crying. there was no hope of Silver finding her husband...... he had not only left canterlot, he had completely vanished from existence......

Chapter 13: The End Of An Age Old Story

It has been almost two long years since the war between Chaos and Peace and everyone had returned to normal..... everyone except a certain Alicorn with dragon's eyes. Silver had been in mourning of her missing husband for the last two years and she was going to a party in canterlot to celebrate the new year. she was on her way there with Starfire when Twilight Sparkle met her on the road. "hey Silver... how are you?" She asked. "oh, i've been better thankfully i have such good friends to keep me happy." Silver said hugging Twilight. the two blushed and continued walking. it was almost sundown when they arrived in canterlot castle. they were greeted by the princess's and their parents and the other five elements were already there having a good time. it was about ten seconds from new years when silver heard a knock at the door. she sprinted and opened it, only to fall to her knees. "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!" everyone in the party cheered only to fall silent at who was standing at the now open door. standing at the door was an alicorn with black wings and eyes. he had white hair and white pupils and a full black set of armor from the neck down. "happy new year Silver....." Brock said with his arms out to his wife. "i missed you so much...... but now im back...... and i'll never leave you again......." Brock said holding his wife in a deep hug and stroking her hair. everyone sprinted to the door to join in the hug but were stopped by a magical barrier held together by brock's outstretched hand. he sat staring at everyone with the same look he gave discord. everyone backed away slowly in fear. Brock put his hand down and smiled only to disappear and reappear right in front of everyone with his arms out. Silver at his side. everyone hugged and made up. everything was in the past, even Discord had awakened from his coma and was joining the hug. everything was great after that day, they started from a new beginning starting that year and everything was great for everyone. and everything always would be great for Brock, Silver and Starfire......... and it always would be........

And so Brock Fireheart, Silver Star and Starfire went back to their everyday normal life from then onward for the rest of their immortal lives. sure there were a few snags in their lifetimes but they would cross that bridge when they came to it..... but anyway, this story was inspired by the events that transpired in the t.v. show "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" through the first two episodes of season one. i give all credit for characters and events that happen through the book to Lauren Faust and the MLP: FIM crew. every character in this book belongs to Lauren Faust and the MLP: FIM crew EXCEPT Brock Fireheart, Silver Star, Starfire, Fire Storm, Lightning Striker, Dusk Breeze, and Dawn Shine. now i will be writing more books about the life of Luna, Starfire or maybe even Fire Storm in the near future but that my friends............... is a story................................ for another time................ Keep up your spirits and always remember this lesson: The ones you hate will never be with you in the afterlife....... but the ones you Love, no matter what, will either always be with you..... or they will always come back to you..... for that is the way..................... of the human race........
