  • Prologue - Alone

Sometimes, life just hates you. When I was but a little colt, everything was so clear and happy. I didn't have friends, or any family to hang out with, but I had my mom and dad. My dad was an unicorn who had been an avid gambler, always winning and getting us the money we needed as well as the money from his job. My dad was one of the best mechanics you will ever see. He always put the family first, even in his own stubborn end. His talent was working with machinery. He could fix any piece of equipment with one spell that was passed from generation to generation.

My mom was a unicorn as well. She worked at a hospital as a nurse, even though she had enough knowledge and magic to be a doctor. Every time I hurt myself bad, she was nearby with her self-made healing spell. It could fix up a bruise, cut, or broken bone in a few seconds flat. She tried to get a meeting with Celestia to teach it, but Celestia was too busy with the endless matters of Equestria's fate. This land seems to just be full of problems, like Discord and Nightmare Moon, even if they happened after I became a full stallion.

The thing about me, is that I don't add up. My family has always been unicorns on both sides, but I was born a pegasus. Black coat, dark and light blue mane and tail, red markings over my coat, and sky blue eyes. The strangest part about me was my wings, though. I'll explain them later. If only the things that happened on that night hadn't, then maybe I wouldn't be where I am now. It all happened like this...

    - - - - - - - - - - - - -

My mother, father and I were trotting home from a restaurant in Manehatten when it happened. We made a turn into an alley, the same alley we always use as a shortcut, and we saw them waiting for us. Three earthponies in the front, two circling in behind us. The center of the three stepped forward.

“Do you have the money, Crash?” My dad looked at the pony in the eyes with fear, slowly shaking his head. The stallion looked from his left to his right, and nodded to each pony. One of the ponies from behind grabbed me and the other my mom. “Then we’ll have to take one of these two....” The stallion made a insane laugh.

“Leave us alone!” I screamed at them. All it did was get me hit in my head with a free hoof.

My father looked sadly at the stallion. “Take me. Leave them out of this.” The stallion gave a nod and took something from his jacket’s pocket. A knife was hanging from his mouth as he trotted closer and closer to my dad. “Skyward, close your eyes.” The stallion was right in front of him now, eyes full of sickening pleasure.

I couldn’t close my eyes, not even as the knife slowly cut my dads throat open. Blood rushing from his neck onto his coat and ground, I couldn’t even yell. I turned to my mom, only to find her meeting the same fate. Something inside me snapped.

I gained an insane smile and facial expression. The group of stallions looked at me strangely. “I am going to take pleasure in ripping your bucking head off.” Was all the pony behind me heard as my wings lunged through my jacket into him. My wings were not normal, to say the least. Picture black knives for feathers, but you could control when they were blades. This was how it was with me, but back to the task at hoof.

The pony behind me fell without a single sound, except for the blood flowing on my body and from his. Within a second I flew to my left, wings outstretched as far as they could go, and I cut off the pony’s head. I flapped my wings to get the blood off as the last three were frozen in fear.

“Celestia save us...” The leader said in a hushed voice, forcing a laugh. At the sound of my laughter, they all were filled with even more fear.

“She can’t help you now, but don’t worry. I will make your death very enjoyable, for me at least.” I said as I flew to the pony on his left. My right wing met with his side, spilling out his blood and some of his intestines. I circled and repeated it with the last bodyguard. While I had been ‘having my fun’, the leader had tried to escape.

I flew after him, keeping low to leave some cuts in his legs. My wings connected with his legs and cut his right two off, and damaged his left two. As he collapsed to the ground screaming bloody murder, I slowly made my way to his face.

His eyes were full of fear. “What are you...?” He managed to choke out in quick, hoarse voice.

I smiled at his fearful statement. The prey has become the predator. “Me? I am the nightmare you wake up sweating and screaming from. And you, you released that by killing my father. Now, enjoy hell, you piece of shit.”

I extended my left wing and put it towards his stomach. The best place to stab or shoot somepony, as it will cause the acid in your stomach to exit and slowly eat at your insides. I slowly stabbed through his skin and did what I intended, quickly retracting my wings to my side. His screams were drowned out as I flew to the sky, paying my final respects to my father.

I felt my tears finally showing up as I flew in no set direction. The only family I had is laying in their blood, and I have no friends to go to. Why does the universe hate me so much? No pony would take me in, not even my mom and dad's friends would take me in after what I have done.

I landed on a random roof and just sat there, letting all my tears and wails out into the open air. "I am... Alone..."

    School Does Help

School was always a problem with me. There was always the one colt who thought he had balls of steel, and tried to pick on me. One look at my blade wings and he would gallop faster than when Sweet Apple Acres has it’s cider. The only time that I didn’t have issues was when I went to a school in Cloudsdale. I had been through about ten or so schools on the ground, all ending with somepony or four in the hospital with broken bones.

I never had many friends, just because of what happened to me. They all knew, yet none of them would talk to me. I was a mess. Not with grades, I had the highest grades, but it was with those who bullied other ponies. My wings would flare into the blades and scare everypony around me, but I wouldn’t care. It intimidated them enough to keep back.

The only time I had ever been challenged was when I was in flight school. There was this one pony who made me come out of my shell. She was the fastest filly there, and I looked up to her. When she was near, I was myself, and I don’t mean the psychotic colt from Manehatten. She shared my views, that messing with other ponies was wrong, and I saw that right before her race. Shame that after it that they tried to intimidate her, but that wasn’t the only thing bothering me. A few days before, I got a message from a mailmare telling me that I was next. Anyway, let me just tell you about flight school.

    - - - - - - - - - - -

The checkered flag dropped and the three pegasi took off, forcing the little filly with it to spin and fall. No pony noticed, but even then, I didn’t do anything. I was too focused on the race. When she made that sharp turn, one of the two racing her got stuck in a column! I couldn’t help but laugh at this, but I stopped when I saw her get rammed. She stopped for a moment, a look of determination written all over her.

Then, she did it. She made the impossible happen. The sonic rainboom. She flew so fast, the race might as well have been only but a minute long. When she came back around and landed next to me, she looked around frantically. She trotted over to me. “Have you seen Fluttershy? I looked for her on the way back, but I didn’t see her. She has a hard time flying, too, so she couldn’t have gotten too far.” Then it hit me.

I literally facehoofed very hard. “She fell when you three took off. I thought she could fly, so I didn’t do anything. I’m sorry.” She just stared in horror, thinking that she could have just lost a friend. I moved closer to her. “Hey, take it easy. There are some things on the ground that could have saved her.” I said to her in a calming voice. I never even knew a compassionate side of myself.

She still looked worried. “Like what?” Ah, the list shall go on.

I looked down in the direction she fell. There was a pond that could have been deep enough to break her fall. I also saw an abnormally large amount of butterflies flying around. When I took a closer look, I saw a... Pegasus? I let out a sigh of relief and turned to her. “She’s alright! Strange way of being saved, but she’s fine!” She immediately perked, but for me it was short lived as the two colts came back around, and they looked pissed.

“No fair, Rainbow Dash! You only won because of that move!” The dark brown pegasus said.

“Yeah!” His friend chipped in. I just let out a chuckle at these two, thinking that they are intimidating. “What are you laughing at?”

I cut off my laughter and gave him a quick smirk. “Two foals who think they’re tough. If you knew my story, you’d run to the ground and keep out of the sky.” The thought of those stallions running in fear was enjoyable, but the scene of my parents wasn’t.

The two just stared at me in horror for a moment. “It’s him...” The brown one said. His friend tried to mumble something, but it came out as nothing.

“Don’t know what the rumors say, but I can set it straight. Yes, I have issues. Yes, my parents were murdered when I was little. Now, if you two are done acting like you own the place, I have a pegasus to check on.” I turned around and was about to fly when I felt something hit my backside.

I got back to my hooves and turned around, body flaring with anger. The anger forced my wings to go from their soft texture to a metallic and sharp form. All three ponies stared at me in horror. “You know, the last time my wings were like this, five stallions died. Do you really want to go down that road?” I didn’t care what I said, the only pony that would really strike fear into me was Princess Celestia, only because she could banish me to the moon or someplace.

The two flew away much faster than they raced, and my wings went back to their normal feel. I felt ashamed for my wings going that way in front of somepony like Rainbow Dash, who didn’t make me feel like I was different. We became best friends within the first two weeks of flight school.

She gave me a smile. “Nice bluff. I was actually scared for a minute there!” She started laughing, but when she got a good look at me she stopped. I couldn’t hide it from showing that what I spoke was the truth. “You were joking, right?”

I looked away from her for a moment, as if I thought I heard something and was checking it out. I let out a heavy sigh. “No, I wasn’t. There’s something else, too.” I now looked around to check if anypony was near. Finding no pony, I turned back to her. “I’m in trouble with some bad ponies because of what I did.” I shook my head at the thought of more killing. “I’m going to go find Fluttershy.” I zoomed off before she could get another word of follow me. That six hour flight to Ponyville was worth it.

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

When I got down to the ground, I let out another sigh of relief. It felt good to have actual ground beneath my hooves, and not clouds. It gets annoying. I started trotting through the forest, calling for her with each yell getting louder. I felt myself get yanked backwards and slam onto the road on my back. There was something on my chest, and it was heavy.

“It took us a while to find you. You have caused quite the amount of trouble, so let us repay you.” I found that there was a hoof on my chest and two more on my wings. Even as blades, I couldn’t move them. The stallion on top of me took out a club and rose it high. I smiled at him and braced for impact, but I felt the three around me suddenly not be there anymore.

“Leave him alone!” Rainbow Dash had swooped down to the rescue. I quickly go to my hooves and looked over to her. She was in a fight with the larger of the three and then I got pissed off. He did a turn and bucked her with all of his might. She flew back like a ragdoll.

I saw a pink mane coming from the bushes near her. “Get her out of here, Fluttershy. I’ll take care of these ponies, just get as far away from here as possible and don’t look back!” I screamed to her as she did as she was told. I made sure she was gone before turning back to the three, who now surrounded me. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I let my wings fully change to blades and stretched them out.

They closed in on me, unaware that I had something to dispatch them easy. “Alright, you little demon. Playtime is over.” The leader called to me.

I opened my eyes suddenly. “I couldn’t agree more.” My voice had become more deep, as if it wasn’t me speaking. They kept closing in on me, and I just kept smiling. I outstretched my wings and started doing 360s until I was sure that each one had at least twenty cuts across them. It felt... Good. What the hell am I thinking? I am not a murderer! And yet, the kill count keeps adding up..

“It’s time for me to be alone again...” I said in my normal voice as I started flapping my wings, but something stopped me. A voice in a concerned tone.

“Flame? Dear Celestia...” Dash had disobeyed me. Great, now she will see who I really am. Now that she was here, though, I felt different. She quickly trotted to me as I fell to my haunches, tears forming at the eyes. The last time I felt this way was when my parents died, and they were the only ponies I cried for.

She wrapped me in a hug, making sure to keep from looking at the dead ponies. “Why are you still here? I’m nothing but a murderer...” That is all I could say, as it was all true. I am a pony who puts everypony he meets in danger of death.

“Friends stick together, right?” She pulled back and looked into my blue eyes with her rose red eyes. “Stick with me. They should think twice before coming after you if you got me.” I smiled at her. She would rather risk her own life in protecting another friend. Now if that’s not loyalty, I don’t know what is.

“Alright, I’ll stick with you. Just know that they won’t stop until I have been brought down.” She gave me a determined look, one that I was all too familiar with. Once this filly set her mind to something, there was no stopping her.

“Come on, today was graduation day was today anyway. I think my parents would take you in, as long as they never find out about this.” I smiled even brighter. The thought of having a family was exciting. Not only that, but with the filly that made me feel like a regular pony, and not some killer with monster wings.

She started flapping her wings and took off for Cloudsdale, with me on her trail. I was going to belong somewhere again.

    Night To Remember

If it wasn’t for Dash waking up early and coming back, I would of had to start over again. She took me to her parents and they asked the usual questions. “Who are you? Who are you parents? Where do you live?” The answers of which I gave were the nice ones, leaving the part where I killed out. They took me in and later had me officially adopted into the family. I was happy for the first real time since found out my mark, which happened to be a regular feather crossing over one of my metallic feathers.

School brightened up too. With Dash and I being siblings, no one dared mess with either one of us. Grades were even higher, had a few more friends, and I had a part time job. I flew mail to the natives of Cloudsdale and got a descent amount of bits in the process. I never bought anything, though. I was saving up for something I knew would make Dash crazy with joy. Wonderbolt tickets. All she went on about was how she wanted to join them and to see them, and our parents couldn’t exactly afford to take her. I told them about the idea, and they chipped in. When I took her and she saw those bolts flying through the air, it was the first time either one of us said “I love you.” in a family manner.

After we grew up, she got herself a home near a town called Ponyville, which I vaguely remember from when I was a colt. I stayed in Cloudsdale for a while before moving down with Dash. The reason I waited a while before moving in was because I needed to save up my bits again. Tickets don’t come cheap, and being a mailpony doesn’t pay much. A reason I moved in with her was to be with her, but the other was I got a new job as a bouncer for a nightclub in Canterlot. The wings came in handy there, and most ponies who knew me from school chose to be on my good side.

My life has a really bad way of catching up with me. I will be at my peak of joy, and then out of nowhere, my past comes at my face. I was always with Dash, so no pony messed with me, but at the club I was alone. And that is why they took advantage of my morals. They knew that I couldn’t stand another pony being in danger, so that’s exactly what they did.

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I was standing outside the door, checking ponies for weapons and such. You could never be too careful. After I let about twenty ponies in, things quieted down for me and my partner, Blaze. I took a look over at him. “Think that’s all for tonight? I heard DJ-PON3 is on tonight.” Blaze shrugged at me and looked around. We could hear the music playing and were calmly sitting when suddenly, the music stopped.

He looked towards me this time. “I don’t remember this being when she stops playing.” I gave him an agreeing glance. He was a unicorn with a red coat, red eyes, black mane and tail, and had black markings. He was my exact opposite, in other words. There was a scream from the inside the entrance lobby. We exchanged nods as I switched my wings to their blade form.

He nudged the door open and I entered first, wings ready to slice some ponies. I looked to the left and next to the counter was a pony sprawled over it, blood coming down from her chest. “Blaze, this is bad. Lighter’s dead.” At this, he galloped into the room. Lighter was his sister’s best friend. I looked at his face and let me say this as nicely as possible. He was pissed to the point of no return. “Isn’t Ice here tonight?” Ice is his sister, and tonight was the night of her birthday. She came here to party with her friends, only you see how it’s going down.

He galloped through the next door into the main dance room with me on hot on his trail. When we entered, there were ponies lying around either wounded or dead. I couldn’t find Vinyl anywhere in the room, and was thanking Celestia. Joy was again short lived as a voice rang through the room.

“Stay away!” The voice was Ice, and it was coming from the V.I.P. lounge. I quickly flew up to the one-way window and broke through it. Ice was backed into a corner with Vinyl, but after seeing me, I saw a hint of joy in their eyes. Five earth ponies were in-front of them, each wearing a mask that differed from the others.

“Lay a hoof on either one of them, and I will cut you so bad, your grandfoals will feel it.” My voice was that deep, deranged voice. My wings were twitching from the thought of killing the five ponies. Two slowly crept towards me, laughing. One went to my left, the other to my right. “I see how it is. Hey you, think fast!”

I lunged right, having my wing stretched as far as it could go. It punctured his neck and blood flowed from the wound. The only sound he made was choking and the thud from hitting the floor. The other one was sneaking up behind me, so I did a 360 with both wings outstretched. Let’s just say his head was thin slices. The other three just stared at me, as well as Ice and Vinyl. I flapped my wings, letting the blood splatter all over the two dead bodies. “Who’s next to make an appearance at hells door?”

One of the three left bolted for the exit, only to run straight into one of my wings and be cut down immediately. The remaining two just stood in horror. I had the upper hoof, and I wanted them to know it. “Vinyl, Ice, get out of here. I am going to have a short ‘chat’ with them.” Vinyl and Ice galloped out of the room and shut the door behind them. I was alone with two of the members of the mob that killed my parents. “I will leave one of you alive, but to send a message. The one that lives, tell your boss that if he comes after me again, he or she is going to meet the same fate as their pathetic minions.”

I looked over the two earthponies quickly. The one on the left was little, almost as if it just hit stallion. The other one, however, was a full grown stallion. I lunged and turned sideways, stretching the wing out to meet with his forehead. As soon as it pierced his skull, I made sure it went all the way through before retracting my wings. I turned to the scared, yet relieved, stallion. “I don’t give mercy, so you better gallop out of here.” The stallion did exactly that, and never looked back once.

I flew back down to where Blaze and the others were, looks of horror and relief. He trotted over to me, and gave me a nod of gratitude. “We should get clear of here. Too many friends I used to have are laying around.” My turn to nod to him, and we collected everypony and made our way out.

In the middle of our silent trot home, we heard another voice call us to stop. When we turned to face it, it was a troop of three royal guardsponies. “We are looking for Skyward Flame.” I stepped forward, but would end up regretting it. “Come with us to the castle. Celestia wishes to speak with you.” I said goodbye to my friends and followed the ponies to the castle, unaware of what trouble the mob had gotten me in to.

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

My head hung low as I saw that Rainbow Dash was in the throne room with me. Celestia stood up from her throne and trotted to the area infront of me. “I have been approached by a pony who wishes to remain anonymous with startling news.” She found out about the killing, I just know it. She looked over to Dash, then back to me. “You have killed innocent ponies.” My jaw dropped, as did Dash’s.

I shook my head at her. “Princess, I will admit to killing, but in self defense. I have been a target ever since my parents died!” She shook her head at me in disbelief. I then knew that without proof, I would have to just face the facts.

“Skyward Flame, you are to be sent away for five years. Any last words or requests?” So this was it then. Five years in a prison while she looks in to whatever mess that I got myself trapped in.

There was only one thing I wanted to do. I turned to Dash, who had a few tears in her eyes. I gave her a smile, even though I was full of sorrow. “Keep that head up high, sis. I’ll see you at the summer sun festival.” I tried to be cheerful, but I could tell that my sadness was in my voice. Dash nodded, giving me a weak smile as well.

I turned to the princess and closed my eyes, bracing for whatever she had in store. I felt her horn touch my head and with a poof, I no longer heard Dash or the princess. Opening my eyes, I could see that I was on the moon. I sat on my haunches and took a deep breath.

“Somepony must have done something equal or worse than me to get sent here.” The sinister female voice called from behind. I turned around and nearly jumped out of my coat. Nightmare Moon, the old mares tale, right in front of me! “So what did you do?”

I got up and looked her straight in the eyes. “I killed ponies. About twelve of them to be exact, but it was my methods that likely sent me here.” The look on her face was a mix of confusion and understanding. I saw her scanning me over with her cold eyes. When I switched my wings to blades, she jumped backwards. Laughing, I switched them back.

“Strange. I have never seen a pony with your condition.” She sat and looked around. I actually felt a bit bad for her, being up here all this time alone. I knew how being alone felt, and it wasn’t good either.

I moved next to her and sat down, not afraid of the evil mare. She seemed a little startled at this, but accepted the company. “I know what being alone feels like. My parents were killed when I was little, and I just broke down. I don’t mean crying either. The murderers were dead within minutes...” I felt the smile from when I was little re-appear. I quickly shook it from my head. That was the past me.

She looked down at me, since she is a good foot or two taller than me. “Being alone for 995 years has made me realize something.” I looked up at her with a confused look. She gained an evil smile, more so than what the legends said. “My revenge will be even sweeter with each year passing.” So that was it. Revenge doesn’t solve anything. I just shrugged and sat there. We would keep this mutual friendship for the next five years, when she and I went our separate ways.

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

So now you’re caught up. That’s my life up to this point, which is the last day of my banishment. Can’t wait to see my sister again. Wonder if she will remember me...

    Becoming Insane

Nightmare and I had kept to small talk, just to keep ourselves sane. I was talking with her about when we would be getting back when a dark smoke started covering both of us. She just started an evil laugh as we fell into the void.

When I opened my eyes, I saw Nightmare Moon leave in the same manner we got off of the moon. I had been laying on my side with a strange unicorn looking at me. “Who might you be?” She said, making some of the ponies below begin chattering.

I slowly got up, realizing that I was in the town hall of Ponyville. I had only been here once with Dash, and that was to let me help her clear the clouds around it. My head felt worse than my body did. While rubbing my head, I explained myself. “I am Skyward Flame. Can somepony explain to me what’s going on?” I looked out a window and saw a lavender unicorn galloping away, with a very familiar pegasus on her tail. Before anypony could say anything, I flew through it to follow her.

“Are you a spy?!” Was all I heard as I trotted inside, followed by four other ponies. A orange earthpony gripped Dash by the tail and pulled her back. When she turned to face her, her eyes stopped on me. She lunged at me, sending me onto my back laughing a bit.

“Told you I’d be here for the festival.” The other five ponies just stared at us, confused looks written all over them. Dash stepped back and gave me a certain look, and I just nodded to it. Getting back to my hooves, I faced all of the ponies in the library. “I’m Skyward Flame, Dash’s brother.” They still looked at me strangely, and I just shrugged.

The lavender unicorn started looking around frantically once more, mumbling to herself the entire time. “Where is the book on the Elements of Harmony?” She thought to herself aloud. A very strange pink pony was bouncing around with a book in her mouth, dropping it next to the unicorn.

“It was under E!” She exclaimed as she bounced away. Such a strange mare.

The unicorn began reading aloud, but my mind was elsewhere. I thought I heard a strange noise from outside, but found it as nothing important and went back to the six ponies. “In the... Everfree Forest.” Was all I heard as we somehow were outside the forest. I assume that the pony used some mass transport spell or something. We all began our trot into the unknown.

    - - - - - - - - - - - -

After a song, manticore, crying sea serpent, and a falling lavender unicorn, we all came to a broken bridge. Taking that the unicorn almost fell AGAIN, Dash offered to fly to the other side and fix it. While she was over there, she started looking around frantically. A few moments later, these strange outfitted pegasi were talking with her.

“Oh no. Rainbow Dash!” The unicorn yelled as the center pegasi’s eye flashed yellow and the fog clouded our view.

A protective feeling of anger flared and my wings shifted, making the ponies behind me gasp. I took a few deep breaths and they shifted back to normal, just in time for Rainbow Dash to fix the bridge. I flew over and made it to the entrance, not wanting to talk about my issues with them for the moment. When they entered they quickly trotted to the area where these stones were sitting.

After heaving all of them down, the unicorn sat herself a good few inches behind them. The others left, but I stayed in the room. “The elements!” Was all she could say before the same mist that took me from the moon appeared. It proceeded to surround the elements, and the lavender unicorn jumped in to it, getting teleported away.

Her friends bolted in and looked around. “Twilight?!” The orange one called out.

I flew to a window and saw flashing lights coming from one of the towers. I whistled to get their attention and pointed my head in the direction of the tower. They started galloping to the tower, with me following right behind them.

    - - - - After the defeat, in the town - - - -

I looked all around the town. Celebrations were being had over the return of Celestia and Luna. Twilight gets to live in the library so she can stay with her friends, Dash is the element of loyalty (go figure), and me... Well, Celestia is coming over, so let’s hope she still isn’t going to banish me. Again.

When she finally came to me, she bared a smile. I was just confused. What could she be smiling at me about? She knelt down to my level. “Skyward Flame, I wish to apologize for the five year banishment. It turns out that the earthpony mob was framing you, and has been caught. Is there anything I can do to for you?” I just gave her a look that said ‘I told you so’.

I looked over at Rainbow Dash, who was now doing the same to me. “Yeah, there is.” She leaned down and I whispered my request to Celestia.

She got up and turned to her sister. “I think that can be arranged.” I gave her a nod of thanks as she went and returned to her sisters side. I turned and started trotting to Dash when a chill ran down my spine. I looked around and saw nothing, but heard a voice.

Flame...” I looked around frantically, finding nothing. “Behind you.” I turned around to see me, but he was different. He was transparent, and his eyes were red. I couldn’t help but feel a little scared at this, as this is the first time I have seen or heard him. I took a few trots closer to him, inspecting every aspect of him.

You let them die, you know. You should have acted sooner.” The false me started trotting right through me, making me feel odd. When I turned, he was starting to laugh at me. “Because of you, dad and mom were killed. It’s all your fault...

I gripped my head and shut my eyes. “Shut up...” He kept going on about how it was my fault they died. It was maddening, and my wings were agreeing with me. They were twitching like crazy, luckily they weren’t their blade form though. He kept going on and on about everything that would have never happened if I acted sooner. “S-Shut up...” He kept going on. I lost control of my wings and they shifted to their blade form. “Get out of my head!” I shouted at the top of my lungs, drawing a lot of attention to myself.

I opened my eyes to see a worried Rainbow Dash looking me in the face. “Sky, are you alright?” I just shook my head. The other me had disappeared, but I knew better than to think that was the last I would see of him.
