Twist worked in the local Ponyville sweet-shop, ever since losing her best friend. She wished for some handsome gentleman to break down that front door and whisk her off her hooves. At that moment, King Sombra burst down the door and took her front hoof.

"Madame, would you like to go on a date?"

They left the sweet-shop, and headed towards Sugarcube Corner. They laughed together, ate delicious treats offered by the Cakes, and drank some cider. They rode off in Sombra's chariot, without a care in the world. The night was perfect.

And then they banged.
