Mortars now began to rain down on the city's inhabitants.

Lilith spoke,"WHAT, that bitch! Meet me in the center of town and Scooter get this city airborne and Roland get me some Eridium."

"HA a flying city what could possibly make you fucks believe you have a chance against me?"

"The Fridge is a dangerous place I hear, but I don't think Angel can do anything from there besides sending robots at us so I think we're fine heading up there."

We walked up to our woodlands-camo runner and headed to the back of it.

Equipment: Corrosive Kunai grenade mod.

We had to stop and rest for the night, so we parked our vehicle between some rocks and we put some camo on it to blend in with the woodlands surrounding it.

"Let's see what our mobile home will look like.", she pressed a button on the little brief case and threw it on the ground infront of us.

The two sides of the tent said "Daul" on it and the entrance had a metal door that opened outwards-down and a manual lock on the inside-side of the door like a container would have. I also put some camo over it so it won't stick out so much out in the woodland-sy desert we were in.

We saw a lone infant-sized skag in the center of a bunch of skag dens.

"There's a tasty one.", I said as I looked thought my binoculars.

Twilight put her hoof on the hilt on her katana and stopped me from using my pistol, "No shooting, we don't want lead in our meat.", she turned towards the skag and five seconds later.

the skag grew a hole on it's skin and blood came out of it without the decoy-Twilight being there. Suddenly the real Twilight came out of her cloak with the katana still in its chest. She took the sword out of the lifeless body then suddenly a another same-sized skag caught the corner of her eye.

The wounded skag died from the added pressure of her vaulting body and another skag that was on the other side was taken a tanto to the face with a left hoof. The last skag came out of a den behind her and was the size of a freaken car. That was an alpha skag.

We placed hidden 4 motion sensors that sticked in the ground and equidistant at the perimeter of the camp. When the motion sensors picked something up we would feel a rumble so the potential intruder won't know we are onto him/her. I did the butchering to the skags while Twilight cooked them over the fire we just made. Twilight cooked an infant skag for me while she cooked a whole entire quarter an Alpha skag (twice the size of mine) because she said she felt 'super hungry' tonight. I took out my Explosive 870 and Twilight spoke as she put a hoof on the hilt of her katana while she held her G36C in her other, "This should be easy."

One of the other bandits spoke, "Wouldn't be funny if we got ambushed again?".

"WELL BE PREPARED TO LAUGH!", I yelled at them as I pointed my shotgun at them.

The Torque 870 sent a barrage of explosive pellets at them, blew up their vehicle and killed two while it stunned the rest_creating a plum of smoke all around them.

Twilight ran up the rock and jumped high over the smoke as it began to dissipate.

"Off to the fridge."

We stopped our vehicle at the door to the Fridge.

"Hey Angel, we are here so where next?"

"Go to the Highlands, I'll mark it on your map.", a blip changed coordinates on our maps.

I sighed, "Thanks", I replied dryly.

"Looks like we are walking.", Twilight said as she cocked her G36C.

"Let's move!", I said as I got out my U-100.

Next to the door was a wheel.

"I am going to turn this.", I said and as I turned it the doors opened.

"Whoa.", Twilight said as we looked upon the insides of a icy canyon, It appeared that the Fridge used to hold a Daul highway that went from where we were standing to the opposite end which was cut off by a broken highway bridge and gate.

We saw rat-like humans walking and patrolling around the area we were supposed to go through. Most of them looked like they were bandits with their guns, some had unusually long arms, some were midgets, some wore gas masks, all had rat-like hands and feet.

I checked my U-100, "Looks like we got company."

Twilight spoke, "Be careful, Tannis said that there were people that mutated and became like rats.".

I whistled loudly so they all could hear and they all turned, "Anybody call the exterminator!?".

"INNNNTRUDERSSSSSS DESSSSSSTROYYYYY THEMM.", one of the rats said.

Twilight smirked and cocked her M417 w/ shock, "Let's kick some rat-ass.",

Twilight took the first shot and it hit a midget rat in the face.

Now we were in an all out war with bullets going everywhere. Twilight stood behind while I slid to cover. I took out my quadrotor with my LMG on it and it did it's work at flying through the air and picking rat bandits one by one.

Twilight's sniper shock bullet hit a shield on a lab rat (one with big arms) by my cover and took it out. The lab rat did something not expected as he got stunned: it fired LAZERS from his eyes! The quadrotor shot it to bits before he could regain composure. I took out my corrosive CZ-807 shot a metal beam that supported the weight of a platform that held three rats and they all fell to their deaths below. I slid to the cover of the rumble and dissolved two more rat's faces off with it. With another lab rat next to me: with my bare hands I took his head and snapped his neck over my shoulder before he could get a good shot with his laser eyes.

Twilight shot a rat in the head that vaulted over my cover, she then ran over to me with her sniper rifle and jumped to make a clear,

quick-scope shot at another lab rat's shield. With my CZ-807 out of ammo in the gun: I removed the magazine and took out my G17 and incinerated the bastard's face off. With my G17 out of ammo in its magazine I took out the magazine, put a fresh magazine into both that and my assault rifle, cocked my CZ-807 and fired at two more rats behind cover.

Twilight jumped into the air to latch on to my quadrotor to get across to where three enemies were ahead of me. Before she made a jump I threw a slag bile at the group to stun to make them vulnerable.

Her whole katana entered the top side of a rat's skull and went through his entire body with the blade sticking out of its bottom crotch. She took out her fire PDW with her other fore hoof and incinerated the other two with it. She removed the katana from the body and put it in her sheath. She removed the magazine from the SMG and took out her slag G36C and slid to cover.

She gestured to come over. I went over and shot a lab rat that was moving onto Twilight's position and slid to her.

"These guys aren't so bad!", Twilight said as shot a barrage of slag rounds at a group of rats.

"You said it.", I said as my quadrotor went in and shot a barrage of U-100 bullets at them.

She looked at her minimap, "The Highlands is just over there!", she pointed to a door as my drone disappeared into my inventory. In the way stood 2 tripod creatures that had yellow crystals at the bases of their legs.

Twilight spoke again, "If I recall, those are called crystalisks."

"Crystalisks, aren't those creatures those tripoded with valuable crystals on them like Roland told us about?"

She unsheathed her katana and activated her chidori, "Be sure to aim for the bases of the legs, they are the most vulnerable and be careful they are known to kill."

I pumped my explosive Remington 870, "Let's make ourselves some mothefuckin' money!".

BOOM, BOOM.

I shot two shells at one of them and it hit two legs and destroyed the two of the three leg's crystals. Despite the damage, the creature managed to throw shards of rock at my shield that could possibly kill.

I shot the last leg and it toppled to the ground; dead. It blew up and raining yellow crystals everywhere.

"WOO! WE ARE RICH MOTHERFU- oh you gotta be kidding me!", I interupted my self as soon I saw 2 more crystalizes appear from the ground.

Twilight ran after her's and was showered with rocks from the cystalisk but the real Twilight was coming in from 90 degrees of the decoy and flipped over the crystalisk,

SLICE,

she spinned in the air with her katana like a saw blade and it split a third of the crystalisk_killing it, it exploded.

Twilight saw the other two crystalisks, smirked at them and said to them by me with her hand-fan out: "Come and get it boys!".

She threw it at one of the crystalisks and it splited apart into an explosion. I shot the other with two shotgun shells and it took off two of it's bases,

Twilight in cloak stabbed it's third from behind with her katana.

"Man so much loot!", I said as I picked up the crystals on the ground and as I picked them up it added to my credit: about $28 dollars per crystal, motherfucker!

Twilight was waiting by the door, "Come on they are waiting for us!"

After walking out of the Fridge, we encountered a beautiful grassland as_going as far as the eye can see and a cliff on the right with a waterfall with a bridge over it going over it.

Twilight gasped pointed a hoof, "Look!"

I gasped and saw the floating city of, "Sanctuary!", I attempted an echo message.

"This is Blake, Roland can you read me?"

"This is Roland and holy fuck I can hear you, Jesus you were gone for a day and we thought you guys were fucking dead."

Twilight spoke, "We are sure hard to kill alright.".

Lilith echoed in, "Holy shit are you guys alright? Where are you?"

I chuckled, "We are in the Highlands and if you had a telescope you'd see us waving to you."

"Nice now be sure to fast travel here, Lilith out."

"Copy that over.", Twilight said.

We saw a conveniently placed fast travel station, we pressed it but something happened:

The fast travel station spoke, "Error, station: Sanctuary, not found."

"Um Lilith it says you are no longer apart of the fast travel system."

"Oh shit I forgot: the phasing must've taken Sanctuary off the network, find a way to get here."

Twilight sighed, "Copy that, Twilight out."

I messaged Angel, "Angel, do you how to get Sanctuary back to the fast travel network?"

"Yes I detect a lunar beacon here in a hyperion base,...", she putted a blip, "take that lunar beacon and put it in the town of Overlook here...", she put another blip, "I'll explain more once you get there.".

"Should we trust her?", Twilight said.

"It looks like we have no other choice.".
