Me and Twilight can't sleep at what just happened at the courtyard. Bloodwing was dead and we held each other as we heard muffled cries,

Jack made a public ECHO, "And that is what happens when you mess with me, Mordecai. You better surrender now or that dumb ass bird is just the beginning. Now where is that viol- Ah ha!",

"Shut the fuck up, It would've been hilarious if I found it earlier."

Mordecai was sobbing in a room next to us, "HE KILLED MY BEST FRIEND! YOU HEAR ME JACK? I'll KILL YOU, YOU UGLY PRICK!".

I heard Roland, "I am sorry for your loss."

I heard Lilith speek as well, "I am too Mordecai!"

"It wasn't your fault guys, she was a good friend, no a special friend!".

Twilight hugged me tighter and pulled me into a hard kiss. She made a tear and said, "We are going to make this bastard pay I swear to your Jesus."

I held her tighter, "You said it, it is strange, I was never properly introduced to the bird, but I felt like I was close to her you know, not that I liked her or anything"

"I see what you mean", we pulled into another kiss and cried knowing things could've gotten a lot worse.

"You soldiers drink?", Roland said handing out a bottle of beer.

We (except Mordecai who was sobbing and drinking up stairs) were at the breakfast table downstairs. None of us were really fit to eat much because of the emotional trauma we experienced last night.

"We don't drink.", Twilight sighed and continued.

"Poor guy.", Twilight said as she drank her coffee in a tin can.

"Don't worry Mordecai, we'll make Jack pay!", I said angrily as I cleaned out my nails with my bowie knife and drank my root beer (what? I am Seventeen!).

"Well I am full.", Lilith said_putting down her napkin with her breakfast nearly untouched.

"So what's the plan?", Twilight said to Roland.

"I think I know how to get past the second hurdle: the Bunker."

We were situated at a pair of vending machines, I pulled up my ECHO's map, "Looks like this is the place."

Twilight spoke, "So to get past the second hurdle: the bunker, we need to-", she takes out a slip of paper and pulls up the objective screen in her ECHO, "-pass his "initiation" and take this to the so-called Slab King so we can get some support?"

I bought some ammo for my AUG A3, put a magazine in it, pulled back the charging handle and put it in my holster, "Sounds crazy doesn't it?"

"I hope this plan will work, we have to fight a mess of bandits to get to him.", she said as she cocked her Slag MX4 storm, put it away and took out her Shock Scout Elite bolt-action sniper rifle.

"Look," I pointed left of the path way to find a huge Hyperion-owned mountain in the distance with a waterfall , " that is where Angel is supposed to be, and there's the death wall in front according to this map and here on the right is where the Slab king lives.".

"Didn't Roland say he got mad after someone killed his dog?"

"We should be careful then.", I said as I pulled out my slag MG4 and cocked it.

"PLEASE SOMEBODY ANY BODY SHOOT ME IN THE FACE IN THE FACE COME ON!", a psycho said with arrows pointing at his face and his fellow bandits just walked right past him, "BANG BANG BANG BANG, ANYBODY! NOT THE LEG NOT THE SPINE NOT THE ARM IN THE FUCKING FA-"

BANG!, "Thank you!".

The alarm sounded and the Slab king ECHO-ed, Looks like we got bitches to kill!

[Twilight]Shock Scout Elite[Psycho]

Twilight looked out of her scope, "Your welcome.", she ECHO-ed to me "Blake you are in over?"

She looked through her scope again,

BANG BOOM, her bullet went through a head in a guard tower, into another's behind it, and into an flammable oil tanker.

She took out a crossbow with a zip line in it and shot it at a taller building ahead of the guard tower.

RATATATATATATATATA BANG BANG BANG BOOM, I saw the guy in the guard tower taken out as I made my way into the camp.

I slid to a beat up car for cover

"I hear you over so whe-"

BOOM, a whole mess of purple crystals stabbed and slagged a couple hostiles while Twilight zipped to a balcony on the second floor on the left of me.

She took out her MX4 storm,

RATATATATATATA, and fired on the three hostiles on the balcony,

Two psychos each busted down a door that led to the balcony. Twilight disarmed the first psycho and sliced the head with her katana and threw it at the other psycho's shield and in face. Twilight went over to pick the lit up katana and switched to the canted iron sights on her Shock Scout Elite,

BANG, "I'LL KILL YOU, YOU FUCK!"

to stun a raging midget goliath coming at me in the leg.

"You mad?", Twilight said before...

BANG, she shot him in the head

RATATATATATA, my quadrotor went into a window of Twilight's building on the first floor to clear it out before it went out of the second floor.

Crouched behind cover, I peaked over it to get a shot at a couple psycho midgets running at me.

BANG, and all at once they were turned black.

Twilight crouched behind cover on the balcony, pulled the bolt on her sniper rifle and switched to her Slag MX4 Storm. A building twice as tall sits next to the farside of the building Twilight was in.

"TAKE THIS WINDOW!", a bandit was heard in the building.

CRASH, the bandits inside the second story broke the three windows on the right side of the building and another one broke the one on the right side of the close side of the building.

"Oh shit!", I said as I rolled right behind a one-story building that touched the car I used as cover.

BAM

With my back against the building I was in, I looked to my left-hand side to the noise of a grenade-suicide psycho kicking open a door.

I hit him in the face with the butt of my shotgun, removed a pin from the grenade he was holding, and took it.

With him stunned I immediately shoved the grenade down his pouch of grenades and kicked him towards his squad members behind him. I shut the door and dived to the right.

BOOM, goes the windows and the hinges on the door.

[Blake]KILLED[Psycho]

I switched to my AUG A3 and went into kill any stragglers while crouching to avoid the bandit's fire in the second story building. They have forgotten about one person... or pony in this case.

Twilight saw that she had the least aggro and leaped to a pole that led to the flat roof of the building. She climbed it and scoped the position of the diverted bandits through a broken glass pane.

She whistled to get their attention to stop firing, "Over here boys!".

They looked up and yelled: "SHOOT HER!".

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!"

The real Twilight jumped through the window at the close side of the building and stabbed a bandit through a shield and into his left kidney area with her shocking katana in a left fore-hoof. With her human shield still alive and taking friendly fire, she used a right hoof to take out her .44 automag.

BANG BANG,

One bullet went through a forehead and an eye while the final bullet severed a spinal cord in the neck area_killing the two marauders. She kicked the dead human shield off her sword and took out her Shock Scout Elite to pull back the bolt on it. She trotted up to the window at the far end and smashed it with the butt of her gun.

I saw a brute getting hit with a shocked sniper bullet in the head near the far end of the long, one story building I am in after assault rifling a battalion of bandits inside a sort of bathroom with stalls.

RATATA RATATA RTATATA

CRASH, Twilight used a zipline to break through a window with one hoof, an MX4 Storm with the other and rolled to absorb the impact. With all the bandits killed in the room: I put put a fresh magazine in my AUG while Twilight reloaded her Slag MX4 Storm and took out her Corrosive AKS-74U.

We both went to the door left side of the room.

"I'll take point.", Twilight said as she took a side of the door and,

BAM, kicked it open while I threw my reloaded drone out the window,

Twilight and I slid to a metal barricade for cover that separated us from a fairly narrow gorge before the drone fired at the incoming hostiles on the other side including a badass Goliath with a minigun out in the open.

We pointed our guns and everyone fired,

I saw an opportunity when i saw a building attached to a rock and held by a pillar at the other end of the gorge. A tank of flammable fluid touched the base of it.

"Get down!", I said and got out my E-tech grenade launcher.

"Run!", Twilight said and we both dove for cover

"AH Slab king We need help out h- AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH"

"Then stop dying all the goddamn time.", the Slab king responded.

The only way into the Slab King's arena was through an opening on the second story that led straight down into the room.

RATATATATATA SLASH STAB

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH", two psychos and a stabbed marauder yelled in pain from being shot and stabbed as they fell backwards into the arena.

"They are coming, get fucking ready!", A battalion of bandits that surrounded the entrance was ready for us when a frisbee-like object came in and hovered above them.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ, the grenade zapped everyone's shield out and then a drone came in after with me standing on it with two compact 45.s in each hand: one corrosive and one shock. I back-flipped off and started shooting at the stunned and shieldless_dissolving and electrocuting people's faces off. And soon came Twilight out of cloak beside me_assisting me with her slag MX4 Storm.

RATATATATATATATA BANG BANG BANG BANG

The room fell silent and the only sound could be heard was the sizzling of our guns and the sound of shells and bodies hitting the floor.

On the a platform ahead and above us stood the Slab King in his chair, "Good job, but now it is time for the REAL initiation. BOYS release the KRAKEN".

We only stood there in the same position with "We'll-fucking-gut-you-like-a-pig-after" stares at the Slab King as a huge door lifted under and behind the Slab King's chair. A HUGE Badass Goliath with a CHAINSAW an army of Psychos and Midget Psychos behind him, including one on his helmet. This didn't phase us at all as we both smiled_considering the shit storm we went through on our journey.

They poured into the room and surrounded us with their hatches ready. The Badass Goliath pulled the string on the chainsaw and it roared to life.

"Kōgeki suru junbi o shi nasai. (Get ready to attack)", Twilight said in Japanese as we back into each other with her katana raised in the air with her two hooves above her head and sideways.

"Anata wa sono hayai Nihon no koto o mananda? Tsumari, gakkō de shūtoku suru ni wa nan-nen mo kakarimashita (You learned Japanese that fast? That took me years to master in school.)", I said as my drone disappeared and I took my bowie knife and tomahawk out.

"Sā· hanmārokku wa watashi o oshieru tame ni jikan o sugoshimashita.(Sir Hammerlock had time to teach me.)", she said as her psychotic grin grew wider at the psychos which made them back off a little in fear.

"Karera wa yoi, kowagatte iru. (They are scared, good.)", Twilight said that and,

her katana lit up the room which made them flinch.

One Psycho began the attack by yelling and charging at us,

Her katana silenced him by cutting his head clean off in the blink of an eye,

"Anata wa subete no shi ni mukatte iru! (You are all going to die!).", she said with a bloodshot, cold, and psychotic stare as soon as the body hit the floor 3 seconds later from limping.

"AAAAAAHHHHH", another psycho with a war cry came after me this time. He tried to hit me with his hatchet but I quickly blocked it with my tomahawk and fell back to throw him at Twilight's katana,

SLASH, her katana slashed the waist apart_revealing his kidneys, intestines, and everything.

"What are you waiting for pussies?", The Slab king yelled.

"Uh, On it boss.", the goliath said in fear and slashed at us with his chainsaw. We both jumped and Twilight landed with a

SLASH, vertically to a psycho and the other psychos by her all closed in.

"Sore o motte kuru. (Bring it!)", Twilight said before going on her psychotic rampage

STAB SLASH CRACK RIP

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH", one of them screamed in pain from his eye getting ripped out with a hoof.

SMASH, she punched one through the whole entire head.

While she was tearing off limbs, spewing out intestines, and killing the psychos the worst ways imaginable: I landed on the side of the chainsaw and quickly kicked his helmet off.

I flipped backwards off his chainsaw before he blew up and turned red.

"I AM GOING TO GOUGE YOUR FUCKING EYES OUT WITH MY THUMBS.", He yelled as I had too much fun watching him break his chainsaw and smashing away his own guys_tearing limbs apart and cracking skulls with his palms. When all the psychos ran out.

Twilight ran straight at the goliath and jumped at him. The goliath tried to punch Twilight but to find out it was only a hologram. The real Twilight was hanging on a light from the ceiling and dropped down on the the goliath's head. She took a hold of the goliath's head and made the goliath fall back.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH, YOU FUCKING PSYCHOPATH", She smiled, took her two hooves and pushed her short-range telekinesis straight into his eyes. The amount of gore made me want to vomit and look away. She killed the him when she pushed her hooves into his brain and crushing it.

"Why thank you for the compliment!", Twilight said with me yet again dumbstruck.

CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP, "THAT... WAS...", the Slab King took off his mask, "AAAAWESOOOMM-Huh?"

While Twilight was busy with the goliath I was busy trying to sneak up on the slab king with a my bowie knife to his eye.

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't put you in that goliath's place!", he had his hands up while I handed a slip of paper, "You are soo fucking lucky we are not supposed to kill you right now, read this!".

He read through it, "Oh so you are not Hyperion?", I press it closer to his eye_almost touching, "And so Roland wants to help me again after he kicked me out of sanctuary?"

"There's his signature fucktard and we are vault hunters.", Twilight uncloaked and had a katana up to his neck.

He gasped, "A unicorn?"

I held the grip tighter, "Also my girlfriend and...", I made a cold stare into his eyes, "...I want to return her to her world in anyway possible and if you or your men try to lay a fucking hair on her, I'll personally rip your spine out and wear it around my neck."

Twilight spoke, "Same thing for my boyfriend. We don't make it to Equestria, This long blade of carbon steel... will... go... straight... up... your... fucking ass."

"I-"

"GOT IT!?", Twilight interrupted.

He gulped.

"I hope so.", I said as we put away our weapons.

"The names Brick.", he held out his hand,

I pointed to myself and shook his hand, "Blake and this is Twilight.", I said as he shook her hand.

CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP, a guy from Brick's left came in with a sarcastic slab.

"Yeah Great job. We're so proud that you managed to kill off our friends and brothers. You guys are soooooo cool. This is totally not sarcasm.", he said with obvious sarcasm.

"-you slabs.", he continued

"Uh-",

PUNCH, I was interrupted when Twilight went invisible and hit the sarcastic prick in the back of the neck.

I and Brick turned to look at Twilight with her freshly bloodied hoof in the air.

"What?", she said.

Brick laughed, "Nice going slab.", he looked to me, "So we cool now?"

"I guess so.", still not trusting him.

Twilight walked over and spoke: "So you want to help us out with the Bunker or not?"

"Don't worry, I still got more than enough idiots to help you badasses out."

I put my arms behind my back, "Good, now Roland wants you to meet him in Sanctuary."

"So he wants me to return, huh?", he sighed, "Guess I shouldn't compla-"

Suddenly a public ECHO came in,

"CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP Aw how lovely"

"Jack!", Twilight said.

"Now we get to hit three bandits with one Hyperion assault. You have until sunset to surrender or else you'll end up like Mordecai's retarded bird.".

"You better watch what you fucking say because we are the ones you should be looking out for.", I said with a cold and furious tone in response to him saying about Mordecai's dead friend.

"See your poor ass at sunset!", he hung up.

As angry as I was, Twilight spoke, "Brick!"

"What is it best slab ever?"

"We need a good defensive position, your men, and most importantly the biggest and badest fucking guns we can get our hands and hooves on."

"This... is... going... to be FUN! To the command center and by the way. Don't ever feel bad when you kill my idiots. I never do.".

"Put your weapons down idiots!", we had to get in an elevator to get to the top of an old hyperion airplane control tower. We were greeted with three bandits in the room_surrounding a table where they plan shit. The three pointed pistols at us.

BANG, They jumped as soon as I put a C.45 shock round into the middle one's head and Brick laughed in response.

"YOU KILLED OUR MAIN COMMANDER!", the left one responded as he put down his gun and looked at the body in shock.

I pointed at myself with my thumb, "Whoops, looks like I am your commander now."

"WHY YOU FUCKIN-",

the left one was about to shoot me when

SLASH!, "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH"

his arms were cut off by an invisible Twilight. She then ended his suffering with decapitation. Brick laughed even harder and was now on the floor.

"YOU KILLED OUR CO-COMMANDER!"

"Whoopsee fuckin' daisies, looks like I am the co-commander.", Twilight said cleaning the blood off her blade with a near by wet cloth.

We then looked at the last bandit with psychotic smiles.

"THAT'S IT YOU ARE-"

"Whoops, looks like the other co-commander had an accident, I'll take place.", Brick said wiping the blood off his giant hammer.

We were laughing our asses off. Maybe Brick isn't so bad after all, sure we had a bad start but I can tell we are going to be good friends.

"Now...", I said wiping a tear from my eye and bending my fingers back and noticing another guy in the room with a tray in his shaking hands.

"Who the fuck are you?", Twilight said

"I-I-I am the guy who supplies refreshments!", he said in fear.

Brick responded, "NOW GET US COFFEE WITH CREAM AND SUGAR! FUCK THIS UP AND YOU'LL HAVE AN ACCIDENT TOO!", he said holding his hammer up.

He put the tray up to his face, "Ye-Ye-sir!".

The refreshments guy ran away downstairs.

The room was silent until Twilight was the first to crack up and soon everyone was laughing again.

Angel Echoed, " Be careful friend, you have a massive army closing in on your position in the North, you need to stay and defend Brick's bandits to get past my second hurdle. Hurry there is no time to waste!

"Let's focus on what we know:...", I turned on the holographic projector in the middle of the room. It showed a 3D map of the town and geological features.

"We should have the advantage geologically-speaking since only three sides of this town is surrounded by tall-ass mountains except the North side"

I continued and moved around the map in relevance to the conversation, "Their are only two ways they can come by land: that is the two sides of the 500ft wide gorge that points at Angel's lair (which is about five miles North from here) and us at the other end. They'll most likely come from the direction of where we came in here and the north side of the west side of the gorge, so we need to put our front lines about 50ft away from the fork in that road. And for the east side, they'll undoubtedly come from under a natural rock arch that runs 90 degrees to the east road, so we'll put the same for the east side of the gorge. They'll come by air most-likely through the gorge so we need to set up some defenses on the houses of the walls of the canyons."

Twilight sipped her coffee and intervened, "Let's not over look the fact Jack will probably also send his aircraft over the mountains surrounding us, so we need to set up most of the Air Defense all around this command center. Fortunately we a have radar radius that extends past these mountains, so we'll know when they come over."

"Now, since we talked about where they'll come from how about the defenses, shall we? Brick!"

He projects objects on the projector in relevance to his talk of status.

"We have about 200 idiots armed with whatever they want, 30 buzzards armed with corrosive heat-seeking rockets and GE M134 miniguns, HMGs and best of all...", he gestured us to come.

This had my interest, what could he be hiding?

It didn't take long for us to go to the hangar where it was labeled "armory".

As we were walking one of the bandits nearby spoke as we were walking by: "I hear those two took down Wilhelm and caused the commotion this morning."

"What? Them? The unicorn? PFFF skagshi-.", suddenly he was interrupted when he felt something sharp up against his throat.

Suddenly the walking Twilight disappeared and reappeared by him. He froze in fear when Twilight spoke a second or two later: "What was that?"

"N-nothing!", he responded.

"That's what I fucking thought.", she said with a psychotic smile as she put the sword back in her sheath.

As soon as she walked away, "Bitch!"

BANG, right in the face from Twilight's .44 Automag.

Twilight walked right up to the body, "Clean this mess up.", she said as she dropped her empty .44 automag kicked the body.

"Y-yes m-mam.", a bandit next to him said.

"Oh and one more thing.", Twilight turned her head at his.

"Mam?"

"That gun is a souvenir if anybody wants it", after she said that all the bandits nearby around there started to dive after the gun. Twilight smiled and looked at us

Twilight galloped up to us to catch us. Brick and I laughed and said: "You never cease to amaze me slabs!"

"Pfff men.", she said that and we all laughed.

We were now at the armory and there were a SHIT TON of guns to choose from as the eye can see. It was like one of those gun shows back on Earth except it isn't age restricted! Brick's surprise was way in the back.

"As if I haven't seen enough guns already!", Twilight said, as we walked towards the other end of the hanger.

"Oh look!", I said as I ran to an ammo dump.

"Is that armor piercing rounds?", Twilight spoke.

"Why yes it is, take what you want slabs.", Brick said

"Wow, thanks Brick, this will come in real fuckin' handy in defeating the loaders."

"No problem slab."

After 10 minutes of walking: "And here it is, the prototype."

He had some kinda turret under there.

He pulled the sheets off to reveal a familiar weapon. It was Tediore, stood on a thick tripod which looked like it was computer operated, and the thing had four barrels on it.

"Is that what I think it is?", I said now remembering what it is.

"Yep: fucking, Metal Storm."

"Metal Storm?", Twilight questioned.

"This was nothing but a prototype back on my world because of it being impractical, but basically what it does is that it stacks the bullets in a barrel and electronically activates them depending on the user's likings, creating a much higher rate of fire."

"How much?"

"Up to 16,000 rounds.... a second."

"WHAT? HOLY SHIT!"

Brick spoke up: "That's right."

"Where the hell did you get this?", I said.

"A long time ago, the Metal Storm idea was abandoned due to bad reload times for the weapon but Tediore brought back the idea, and we raided a Hyperion train carrying this."

"So let me guess..."

Twilight interrupted, "The barrels themselves become heatseeking missiles after depletion or manual reload of the barrel.".

"Her intelligence never ceases to amaze me!", I thought.

"Exactly, this can be left unattended and still kill at a sniper range.".

"Then this should be put on the Command Center tower as a our final defense weapon.", I said feeling the weapon's barrel.

"Let's talk about how we are going to distribute the firepower.", Twilight said as she picked up her pistol replacement,
