The Funeral

Rainbow Dash was laying in a puddle of her own blood, she was still strapped to Pinkies "operating table." The poor pony was unconscious for hours… Or maybe even days… She wasn't sure how long it had been. All she knew was that she was dying. "Where did this all go wrong?" Dash asked herself. "What did I ever do to deserve this?" In Dash's final moments of living she managed to shed one last tear and utter the words, "I'm sorry."

"Nopony knows what happened to her." Twilight said at her now dead friends funeral. "All we know is that…" Twilight had to pause to hold back tears. "All we know is that she was brutally murdered by somepony. Pinkie Pie found her in the ever free forest like this and tried to revive her… But, it had been to late." Twilight and her friends began to cry… Even Pinkie Pie was crying. Yes! Pinkie Pie, was crying for Dash. Pinkie did a thorough job of hiding all evidence… She wan't actually crying. It was all an act.

"Now somethin' ain't right here." Applejack thought to herself as she and the other ponies walked Twilight back to the library. "I mean why the hay would Rainbow Dash just wonder off into the ever free forest alone without telling anypony?" She continued to think. "It just doesn't make a lick of sense!"

"Thanks for walking me home girls." Twilight said with half a smile on her face. "I just can't believe she's…" Twilight paused and began to sob. "I just can't believe she's gone!"

"We know Twilight… I can't believe it either." Applejack said as she comforted her friend. "But at least she got a proper burial, it's what she would've wanted…" Twilight continued to sob while her friends gathered close by to comfort her. But somepony was, missing… Yes, Pinkie Pie had run off somewhere.

"Where's Pinkie?" Twilight asked her friends. "She was just here and she's just gone all of a sudden?" Twilight continued.

"I'm not sure where she ran off to." Fluttershy said. "But I'm sure she'll be back soon!" Fluttershy smiled as she said this.

"Yeah she probably just went off to get you a cupcake to make you feel better." Applejack said. "She'll be back… Here I'll go to sugar cube corner and see if she's over there ok?"

"Thanks Applejack. There's obviously a killer on the loose… The last thing I want is to lose more friends…" Twilight said as she continued to cry…

The Discovery

Applejack had walked over to Sugarcube Corner to check on Pinkie. She pushed open the door and to her surprise Pinkie was no where to be found… The lights were all off and because of the gloomy and stormy atmosphere outside it felt extremely creepy inside. "Pinkie Pie?" Applejack called out. "Pinkie are you here? Twilight was looking for you! We just wanted to make sure you were ok." There was no answer. Applejack decided to search the building for Pinkie.

She made her way upstairs and didn't find anything. "Gosh darn it!" Applejack exclaimed. Then an idea came to her head. She always had known that Surgarcube Corner had a basement. But she remembered Pinkie had always told them to stay out of there. AJ had always been a little suspicious about Pinkie after Rainbow Dash's death. Pinkie had been acting weird. And those cupcakes she had made recently. Well something, something just didn't taste right.

So Applejack decided to check the basement. She made her way downstairs and when she got down there, to her surprise she found Pinkie standing there… But something wasn't right. "Pinkie? Uh… Are you ok sugarcube?" Pinkies hair was no longer puffy and happy… It was down… And she had a wicked and sick smile on her face as she locked the front door of the building and said, "Of course Applejack… I'm fine!"

Pinkie let out a sick laugh as she made eye contact with Applejack. "Oh Applejack you have to try my new cupcakes! I added a new ingredient!" Pinkie exclaimed as she shoved a cupcake in Applejacks mouth. "They're to DIE for!"

"Uh, I don't feel to good Pinkie. I'm gonna head on home" Applejack said, holding her stomach in disgust. Applejack made her way to the door, but before she could grab the handle and open it. Everything went black for her… Pinkie, stood behind her, with a large, metal, baseball bat.

"You can't leave yet Applejack!" Pinkie said with a sick smile on her face. "We haven't even made cupcakes yet!" Pinkie let out a sick laugh and hit Applejack again to make sure she was unconscious.

The Awakening

Applejack awoke in a pool of sweat. "Wha- Where… Where am I?!" Applejack couldn't see anything except for a small light hanging above her. Applejack had a terrible feeling about this place. She heard hoof steps nearby. "Who.. Who's there?!" She yelled. She heard nothing except more hoof steps. They were getting closer. "I'm warning you! S-Stay away from me!"

"Oh Applejack you're such a kidder. You wouldn't hurt your friend would you?" Pinkie Pie said… Suddenly a bright flash hurt Applejack's eyes.

"What in tarnation?! Pinkie Pie! What's going on?!" The lights had been turned on. Applejack could now see the horror that had been hidden before her. Pinkie was humming some song while she rolled a tray covered with a cloth over towards Applejack. "W-What are you doing Pinkie?!"

"We're gonna make cupcakes silly" Pinkie said as she giggled and walked towards Applejack. She pulled the cloth off of the tray… Revealing, tools, Surgical tools.

"Pinkie wha- what are you doing! I'm your friend!" Applejack cried out as Pinkie prepped her tools… "You can't be serious… You killed Rainbow Dash didn't you!" Pinkie turned towards Applejack with a sick grin on her face.

"Took you long enough!" She giggled. "I thought you'd never get it through your head. But I guess you were smarter than I'd thought."
