Prologue: The Beginning Of The End
Outer space, Where a single card drifts in the cosmos, A black aura surrounds it, It floats endlessly forever more.
It has been over a year since Darkwing was vanquished and Equestria was saved from the brink of destruction, All that remains of the black hearted angel was his swords, After being vanquished by those equines he called The Spirits Of Harmony, His dead spirit vowed revenge.
"Equines, Defeated me?! This cannot be possible, I am the embodiment of darkness." He said to himself as his soul was found in Tartarus, Lingering with the other defeated entities of darkness.
"This is taking forever!!! I WANT TO GET OUT OF HERE!!!!!" Said a red yellow and black demon as she was slamming the gates with her claws.
"Calm your tits, Sunset Satan, All i need is an otherworldly dark power, And then we're all outta here!" Darkwing said to the demon who was now calming down.
"But we were all defeated by those ponies, If we want to be reincarnated, We're gonna need a miracle." Sombra said to him.
"Yeah, i suppose you're right." Darkwing responded as he magicked up a hammock and HDTV, "But where in this existance would we get a power such as that?!"
"Know this, The force that is unrivaled shall be immortal." An otherworldly voice said to everyone.
"Who-Who's there?" Darkwing asked as he got up from his hammock.
"My name is of no importance, Tell me, Have you heard of a card game known as Duel Monsters?"
"I think one of the Canterlot High kids mentioned something about them during my reign of terror." Sunset Satan said to the voice.
"Then you are familiar with this card game?"
"Exactly."
"Tell me, Have you heard of the Dark Cards?"
"Dark Cards?" Said a black alicorn awakening from her slumber.
"Only true envoys of darkness have the power to wield the dark cards, Envoys like you, Darkwing."
"How can you tell?"
I saw you conquering Equestria, And you almost had it too, But you and all your creatures can become stronger."
"OK, And how does this involve us?" Said Discord.
"The ponies of Equestria, Have discovered and evolved Duel Monsters to it's peak, They know of Fusions, Rituals, Synchros, Dark Synchros, And Even X-Zs, This is the perfect time for you to conquer."
"But how?! We're all dead! D-E-A-D DEAD!!!!!" Said an alicorn filled with holes.
"My card is touching your swords, Darkwing, Use it and its' respective deck well, And all of ponykind shall kneel before you and your creations!"
As the voice dissapeared, A portal opened to the exact spot in deep space where Guardian Aurora and the Canterlot High kids struck Darkwing down 12 moons ago.
"We're back, And we've all got our own decks of cards." Queen Chrysalis said as she noticed a stack of cards in her hooves, As well as everyone else's.
"Use the decks well, And rule Equestria, Now here's how to do it."
Chapter 1: The Equestria Tournament
"Mares and stallions, Fillies and colts, Ponies of all ages, Get ready for the greatest show on Equestria.... THE EQUESTRIA DUEL MONSTERS CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!" An announcer pony said as the arena lit up with a dazzling laser show, "That's right folks, Ponies and creatures from all over the planet have gathered their best decks to win the glory in this exciting 4 day tournament."
"In this 4 day Free-For-All tournament, 16 lucky champions have struggled through the prelims by the skin of their teeth, Including our clear favorites, The Legendary MANE 6!!!!!!" Everypony started cheering with a thunderous outbreak of applause at the sound of Twilight and friends in the tournament.
"At the end of the last day, 16 duelists will become 1, And that lucky one will win the highest honour we can bestow.... THE EQUESTRIA CORE CRYSTAL!!!!!!" This was also met with a thunderous roar of applause from the audience ponies.
"So without any further delay, Let's meet our 16 cardslingers!"
Upon hearing this, The 16 lucky winners appeared in the spotlights in the centre of the arena, A few recognizable names were Twilight and friends, Darkwing and his creations, Sunset Shimmer, Shining Armour, Diamond Tiara, And an unknown unicorn known as Card Storm. (The Yugi Moto of this fanfiction)
"So now the 1st question is, Who's gonna duel first?" A large bunch of HDTVs appeared around the stadium, And all 16 ponies' pictures were placed into 16 cards, Turned over and shuffled wildly, Before being placed at the bottom of a tournament tree.
When the first two cards were flipped over, It showed the pictures of Twilight Sparkle and Shining Armour.
"OOOH!!!!!!!!! Just look at those sparks fly!!!! Our 1st match up is between brother and sister, Shining Armour and Twilight Sparkle!" All the other duelists went back to their respected lounges waiting for their duels, Whilst an AR grid was created by the two combatants hooves.
"Well this is different." Twilight said to her brother as they shuffled the other's deck fairly, "I didn't expect to face you, In the 1st round no less."
"Me neither, Twily, But just remember this, Even though we're brother and sister, This is a no holds barred tournament, So don't expect me to go easy on you." Shining Armour said in response after he and Twilight exchanged the decks back to their respective owners, Before trotting to their respective duelist zones.
"Looks like the combatants are ready so......."
"LET'S DUEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Came from everypony in the stadium as the 1st match began
Twilight V.S Shining Armour (Part 1)
"I'll go first if you don't mind." Said Shining Armour making his first draw phase, "To start, I summon Twin Sword Marauder!"
Twin Sword Marauder (Effect Monster)
ATK: 1600
DEF: 1000

Warrior/Effect
Once per turn, When this card destroys a defence position monster in battle, You can attack your opponent again, During a battle between this card and a defense position monster, Whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, The difference comes out of the opponent's life points as damage.
And right before everypony's eyes stood a humanoid knight, Brandishing a sword that looked like three swords in each hand, after it struck a pose pointing both of its' swords at Twilight, Everypony could see it's ATK and DEF on the screens.
"However since it's only the 1st turn i can't attack you, So i'll just lay 2 facedowns and end my turn" Shining Armour said as 2 giant Yu-Gi-Oh cards laying backs up digitally appeared a few inches behind his monster.
"Very well then, I draw!" Twilight said as she used her magic to arrange her hand before making the appropriate move, "And for my first move, I summon Gemini Elf!"
Gemini Elf (Normal Monster)

Elf twins that alternate their attacks.
As Twilight declared her monster, two humans with long ears and weird marks all over their faces appeared in front of her, They were both unarmed, But even so, They still looked ready to deal Shining Armour some damage.
"And as a little extra measure, I play Giant Trunade!"
Giant Trunade (Spell)
When this card is played, All Facedown and Faceup Spells and Traps on the field return to their respective owners' hands.
After naming the Spell, A hurricane appeared in the centre of the arena, Blowing away both of Shining's Facedowns and returning them to his hand.
"So now your field is empty, And that means my elves have a clear line of fire! Go Gemini Elf, Destroy my brother's Twin Sword Marauder with Double Kick Frenzy!"
The elves, Upon following their mistress's command, Were now charging at Shining Armour's monster with jump kicks at the ready.
"Nice play sis, But not nice enough! I play the Quick-Play Spell card known as Rush Recklessly!"
Rush Recklessly (Quick-Play Spell)
One monster on your side of the field gains 700 ATK until the end of this turn.
After the spell enveloped Twin Sword Marauder, He slashed the incoming elves in 1/8s with his swords, His ATK was now 2300, Whilst Twilight's elves had only 1900, After the shockwave from the elves' explosion hit Twilight, Her Life Points had decreased to 3600.
"Nice counter, Shining, I play one card facedown and end my turn."
"Very well then, My turn!"
"And to start, I summon Beatsync LV2!"
Beatsync LV2 (Effect Monster)

When this monster is used for a Synchro Summon, Lower your opponent's life points by the level of the summoned Synchro Monster x200
And as if by magic, A little DJ appeared next to the double bladed knight, With his own turntables and everything.
"But that's not all i've got, Little sis! I Tune my level 2 Beatsync with my level 4 Twin Sword Marauder!"
Upon hearing this, The little DJ spun his vinyls and turned himself into 2 green rings of light, These 2 rings then encompassed Twin Sword Marauder, Turning him into 4 little stars, As the stars aligned with the rings, An enormous pillar of light was created.
"I Synchro Summon.... Goyo Guardian!!!!!"

When this card destroys the opponent's monster in battle and sends it to the Graveyard, You can Special Summon the destroyed monster on your side of the field in face up Defense position.
When the pillar of light dissapeared, A japanese-looking warrior with bulky armour and metal whip appeared from its' wake, Its' face markings made Twilight believe that it was smiling.
"Oh yeah, One more thing Twi, When Beatsync LV2 is used for a Synchro Summon, You lose life points equal to Goyo's Level x200, And since my Goyo Guardian is a level 6, You lose 1200 life points!"
He said before a black aura cloaked Twilight, Making her writhe in agony, As she screamed, Her Life Points were reduced to 2400.
"Looks like you're going down, Twilight! Sorry it had to be so short, Now go Goyo Guardian! Attack Twilight Directly! GOYO LARIAT!!!!"
The warrior spun his whip like Applejack's lasso, Then he then shot it metal point first at Twilight.
"I don't think so! Activate Trap Card, Call Of The Haunted!" Said Twilight as one of her facedown cards suddenly flipped face up, Revealing a graveyard picture.
Call Of The Haunted (Continuous Trap)
When this card is activated, Special Summon one monster from your graveyard in face up attack position, If that monster is destroyed, So is the trap, But it the trap card is destroyed, Destroy the designated monster.
"And this card allows me to resurrect my Gemini Elf from the graveyard, I do still take damage, But even less than before now!"
As the card glowed dark purple, The two elves returned to the field, Only to get destroyed one second later by the metal whip, After the dust cleared, Twilight was still standing with only 1500 Life Points remaining.
"So you survive for now, But before i end the battle phase, I can summon your elves to my side of the field in defence mode, Compliments of Goyo's Special Ability."
As soon as the japanese warrior heard the ability being called out, He shot his whip into the ground, And unearthed the Gemini Elf that Twilight was just using, The only difference was that they were now making an X with their arms in a defensive gesture.
"Finally, I place 2 cards face down and end my turn, Your move, Little sis."
"OK then, I draw!" As she picked up her next card, A little grin appeared on her face, "To start, I play a spell, Magic Force!"
Magic Force (Spell)
When this card is played, You can add one Field Spell card from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand by discarding one Monster card from your hand.
"So by tossing my Revival Jam, I can add a field spell to my hand! And now might be the perfect time to use it! I activate the Field Spell Cosmic Dimension Exodus!"
Cosmic Dimension Exodus (Field Spell)
Once per turn, You can Special Summon one Light Attribute Monster from your Deck or Graveyard, In addition, All Light Attribute monsters gain 500 ATK and DEF.
After playing the spell card, The entire stadium turned into a rainbow coloured vortex, With Twilight standing tall on a podium made of light.
"Because of this spell card, I can now Special Summon the card that will be your undoing! I Special Summon... Blue-Eyes White Dragon!"

No one who saw this dragon has lived to tell the tale.
The vortex intensified, And after it returned to a peaceful speed, An enormous white dragon with blue eyes was staring Shining Armour in the face, After letting out its' signature roar, The ATK and DEF appeared for everypony to see.
"And thanks to my field spell he gets a little boost, To the tune of 500 Attack and Defence points." Said Twilight as the dragon's respective numbers increased to 3500 ATK and 3000 DEF.
"And now for my actual summon, I summon forth Honest!"

When Twilight finished announcing the monster's name, An angel who was radiating an aura of light appeared from the sky.
"And now i'll play a little spell card known as Shield And Sword!"
Shield And Sword (Spell)
When this spell card is played, You can swap the ATK and DEF of every single monster on the field until the end phase.
When said spell appeared on the field, The ATK and DEF of all monsters on Twilight and Shining's field were swapped around, Making Goyo Guardian significantly weaker than Honest and Blue-Eyes, Of course Gemini Elf was also effected, But Twilight didn't mind.
"Go Blue-Eyes! Destroy Shining's Goyo Guardian with White Lightning!"
And in perfect sync with Twilight's sentence, A white ball of light formed in the dragon's mouth, As it roared at Shining's monster, The ball suddenly turned into an enormous white laser heading straight for his monster.
"Don't think so! Activate Continuous Trap! Spirit Barrier!"
Spirit Barrier (Continuous Trap)
As long as you have a monster on your side of the field, All battle damage you would take from a battle is reduced to zero.
"Sure my monster gets destroyed this turn, But on the upside, Thanks to Spirit Barrier, I don't lose any Life Points!" Said Shining Armour as his monster dissapeared in the laser of light.
"And as an extra precaution i'll play my second facedown, Go Resurrection Burst!"
Resurrection Burst (Trap)
You can only activate this card when a monster you control is destroyed in battle and sent to the Graveyard, At the end phase of the current turn, You can Special Summon from the Graveyard all monsters that were destroyed this turn with an additional 800 ATK and DEF
"Fine with me, Because Honest is still going to destroy Gemini Elf! Go Piercing Light!"
At this time, Honest conjured up a yellow and white ball in it's hands, And shot it like a hadouken at Shining's last remaining monster, Destroying it on impact, However since it was in defence mode, Shining Armour didn't lose any Life Points.
"To finish up, I play the spell card, Card Of Sanctity!"
Card Of Sanctity (Spell)
Both players draw cards from their decks until they are holding 6 cards in their hands.
"Thanks to this card, We should be holding 6 cards each." Twilight said as she and her brother were now drawing cards, "But that's not all, I play Honest's Special Ability! If it's my Main Phase 1 or 2, I can send Honest back to my hand."
"Now i place 3 cards facedown and that's all for now."
In the lounge, The other duelists were watching Twilight and Shining duel, Thanks to the HDTVs provided.
"That was foolish of Twilight, I mean she had two monsters out and she sends one back, Why?" Diamond Tiara was asking Darkwing.
"Because, Diamond, Thanks to Shining's Resurrection Burst Trap, His Goyo Guardian will return, Only this time it will be stronger than Twilight's Blue-Eyes, As long as Honest is in Twilight's hand, She can discard it when Blue-Eyes gets attacked, So that her dragon becomes stronger than Goyo, A pretty professional move if you ask me." Darkwing said to the pink earth pony.
"Still, I can't help but feel like Shining Armour has another trick up his sleeves." Said Sunset Shimmer as she watched the duel unfold, "I mean Shining Armour just drew 6 new cards, So he's bound to have another plan if he knows about Honest's other ability."
"Either way, This is gonna be quite entertaining." Darkwing said as he pulled out some popcorn and began to edit his deck, "Soon, Voice, Soon." He said as his new card was radiating pure darkness.
Back on the dueling field It was Shining Armour's turn.
"I draw! And i know that Honest is back in your hand, So i'll just fix that right now! I activate Card Destruction!"
Card Destruction (Spell)
Both players discard all cards in their hands to the graveyard, After that both players redraw the same number of cards they just lost.
"Thanks to this spell, We now discard all the cards in our hand to the graveyard, And then we redraw the same number of cards we just lost." He said as the spell's picture showing a hand throwing away a hand of Yu-Gi-Oh cards.
"So six new cards for me, and three new cards for you."
"Next i'll play another spell card! Go Heavy Storm!"
Heavy Storm (Spell)
All Spell and Traps on the field are sent to the Graveyard.
"So if you were going to spring a trap to stop my Goyo Guardian, It's pretty much useless now." He said as another hurricane appeared and destroyed all of Twilight's facedown cards, As well as her field spell, After her field spell was destroyed, The area returned to the stadium they were dueling in.
"Now go, Goyo Guardian! Send that Blue-Eyes packing! GOYO LARIAT!!!!!!"
After the dust cleared from the repeated attack, Shining Armour was shocked to see the dragon was still standing.
"But how, How did your monster survive?"
"Funny you should ask that bro, Because when you played Card Destruction, You sent my Shield Warrior to the graveyard, And its' effect keeps my Blue-Eyes White Dragon from being destroyed this turn."
Shield Warrior (Effect Monster)

During a battle's Damage Step, As long as this card is in the graveyard, You can remove it from play, And if you do, All monsters on your side of the field cannot be destroyed in battle this turn.
"Fine, But you still lose life points." Shining Armour said as the aftershock from the attack reduced Twilight's Life Points to 900, "I've gotta say Twily, You're quite the duelist."
"Thanks Shining."
"But this doesn't mean i'm gonna give up just yet, You haven't even seen my best cards, All i can say is, GET READY FOR THE SHOW OF A LIFETIME!!!!!"

After the previously on screen and opening title, We return to the field, Where he have a quick recap of the two duelists.

"So Twilight, How does it feel knowing you're about to lose the 1st match of the tournament?" Shining Armour asked his sister who was clearly struggling to think of a plan.
"As i always say: It isn't over until it's over." Twilight said in response to the question, "It's my turn now!"
As she drew her next card, Another grin was plastered on her face "I activate an Equip Spell card known as Megamorph!
Megamorph (Equip Spell)
If your life points are lower than your opponents', Double the ATK of the equipped monster, If your opponent's life points are lower than your own, Cut the ATK of the equipped monster in half.
As the dragon ate the equip spell, It's ATK became 6000.
"How'd you like that! Thanks to Megamorph, I can double Blue-Eyes' Attack Points if my Life Points are lower than yours!"
"Now go Blue-Eyes! Destroy Goyo Guardian with White Lightning!"
Again the dragon shot its' trademark laser, Only this time, Shining Armour did lose Life Points as he no longer had Spirit Barrier on the field.
As he screamed in the laser's aftermath, His Life Points had now become 1600 "Pretty impressive, Twily, But i'm still here!"
"But not for long, I play a spell card known as Pot Of Greed!"
Pot Of Greed (Spell)
Draw 2 cards from your deck.
"Thanks to this spell, I get two new cards, And i'll lay one of them facedown, Your move."
"Very well Twily, I draw! And to start, I'll summon Replicatory Shadow LV2!
Replicatory Shadow LV2 (Effect Monster)

When this card is summoned, You can Special Summon one Replicated Token (Level 2) (ATK:0) (DEF: 0), For each card in your opponent's hand.
After Shining Armour finished, A black puddle appeared in front of him, And a few seconds later, A humanoid creature jumped out of it.
"Thanks to this card's effect, I can summon 2 Replicated Tokens because you have two cards in your hand!" He said as two more shadows appeared next to the original.
"Now Twily, I play a spell card known as Oblivion's Respite!"
Oblivion's Respite (Spell)
When you have 3 Dark Attribute monsters on the field, You can Special Summon a monster from the graveyard, Whos level is the sum of the 3 Dark Attribute monsters on the field.
"And thanks to its' effect, i can bring back an old friend, RISE AGAIN GOYO GUARDIAN!!!!!!"
The three shadows expelled dark energy which opened up a portal in the ground, After which the japanese warrior leapt up from the vortex and reappeared on Shining Armour's field once more.
"But he's not going to be around for long, I play Double Summon!"

Allows you to Normal Summon or Set one more time this turn
"This card allows me to call upon another monster to the field, And i choose.... Chaos Double LV2!"

When this card is used for a Synchro Summon, The Summoned Synchro Monster's Attack Points are doubled for the 1st attack.
As he announced the monster, A fiendish mirror appeared in front of Twilight.
"But now's not the time for introductions, I Tune my level 2 Chaos Double with my three Level 2 Replicatory Shadows!"
The mirror turned into 2 more green rings of light, And the three shadows stood on top of one another and were all consumed by the rings, Turning them into 6 little stars, After the stars and rings aligned like last time, Another pillar of light appeared.
"I Synchro Summon..... RED DRAGON ARCHFIEND!!!!!"
Red Dragon Archfiend (Synchro Monster)

Dragon/Synchro/Effect
When this card destroys an opponent's defence position monster, You can destroy all other defence position monsters on your opponent's side of the field, At the end phase of each turn, All monsters that did not attack this turn are destroyed.
This card must remain on the field to activate these effects.
After the pillar of light dissipated, A pillar of fire now stood in it's place, And emerging from it was another dragon, Only this one was more red and scaled than others, After it unfurled its' wings and opened it's claws, It released a deafening roar followed by a gale of wind upon it's summoning.
"And thanks to Chaos Double's effect, I can double Red's attack points to a grand total of.... 6000!"
A red aura enveloped the new dragon as the extra attack points were being applied to it.
"Now i play a spell card known as Black Gale!"
Black Gale (Spell)
If you have 5 or more Dark Attribute monsters in your graveyard, Remove from play all of your opponent's facedown cards (Tokens count as well).
"I have 5 Dark monsters chilling in my graveyard, Twin Sword Marauder, Replicatory Shadow, The 2 tokens from before, And Chaos Double, And that means i can destroy your facedown card!" He said as a black tornado struck squarely on Twilight's facedown, causing it to explode.
"Game's over Twily! Go Red Dragon Archfiend! Destroy Blue-Eyes White Dragon with Absolute Power Force!"
The red dragon's right claw took in fire energy, After building it up, It reached for Blue-Eyes as if to choke it to death.
"Blue-Eyes, Cancel out the damage calculation with White Lightning!"
The dragon once more shot its' white laser, after the laser and the claw collided, It send out a shockwave of wind affecting everypony in the audience, Even the announcer himself, Soon after the wind died down, Both dragons were destroyed in a deafening explosion of fire.
"Your field is empty Twily! And that means it's game over for you! Goyo Guardian! End this duel with GOYO LARIAT!!!!!"
The japanese warrior once more lashed its' whip at Twilight, After the metal part impacted with her horn, It sent her flying into the wall behind her.
"I-I lost!" Were her last words before the life points counter made it official, Twilight had zero life points remaining, Shining Armour had won.
After the digital field and monsters vanished, Shining Armour ran up to his little sister to comfort her, She was bruised from the last attack.
"You okay sis?"
"Yeah i'm fine, Congratulations on winning though, As for me, It's always better luck next year." She said as she graciously accepted her defeat and returned to the duelist lounge.
As she and Shining Armour got there, Twilight was given a consolation congratulations from her friends.
"It was a pretty close contest there Twi." Rainbow Dash said to comfort her defeated friend.
"Good luck in the Quarter-Finals." Fluttershy said to Shining Armour.
"Thanks girls, Things are only just starting though." He said as he turned to the tv screen to watch the next random match-up
"Well that clinches it folks! Shining Armour goes through to the Quarter-Finals, And Twilight is going home with a gift basket."
He said as Twilight's picture dissapeared from the tree, And Shining Armour's face moved up to the next open spot.
"But, There are still 14 other duelists who have not set foot into the first round yet, So let's find out who's next!" He said as the cards shuffled once more.
Once the shuffling stopped, The two pictures were shown, Diamond Tiara and Fluttershy were shown on the tournament tree's next match up spot.

"Oh my, Looks like i'm up next." Fluttershy said after the announcer finished.
"Don't worry about it, You're gonna wipe the floor with her." Rainbow Dash said to give her some encouragement.
"Don't let her words bring ya down gal, Just focus on winnin, And ya'll should be fine." Applejack said as she remembered her past with Diamond.
"She can be quite deadly, Legend has it she used her dad's money to buy the best cards available, So don't be surprised if Diamond Tiara has a deck of strong cards, You just have to believe in yourself, And she'll never be able to stop you." Twilight warned the yellow pegasus before stepping out through the corridor
On the other entrance corridor, Diamond Tiara was prepping her deck with rare cards, And even taking the time to customize her duel disc with flashy rich accessories.
"Showtime!" She said after putting on her trademark crown and stepping out onto the duel field.
Diamond Tiara V.S Fluttershy (Part 1)
"MARES AND STALLIONS!!!!! IT'S TIME FOR THE NEXT MATCH!!!!!!" The announcer said as he adorned his loud voice for introducing duels, "IN THE LEFT SIDE, SHE'S THE HARDASS DAUGHTER OF EQUINE MOGUL FILTHY RICH, SHE'S MADE A LIVING OFF OF HATRED AND DESTRUCTION.... PLEASE SHOW YOUR BEST DUEL MONSTERS SPORTSMANSHIP FOR.... DIAMOND TIARA!!!!!" As the pink earth pony stepped into the stadium, Ponies could not help but cheer, Knowing she was a force to be reckoned with in the prelims.
"AND HER OPPONENT!!!!! THE ELEMENT OF KINDNESS CHOSEN BY THE EQUINE GODS, THE ULTIMATE ANIMAL BREEDER, THE CHAMPION OF THE STARE, WELCOME TO THE TOURNAMENT.... FLUTTERSHY!!!!!!" He said as the yellow coated pegasus flew onto the field with her deck at the ready.
Once they were both on the field, They were both motioned to shuffle the others' deck so as to make the card drawings fair.
"I may be shy by name, But i'll have you know i've changed, Cause when i'm angry, I ALWAYS WANT TO WIN!!!!" Fluttershy said to intimidate the schoolkid who was shuffling her deck.
"Well that was a lot of words that just tumbled out of your lips and teeth right there, But quite frankly Flutterpoor, I don't give a hoot about your drive to win, I have to do this for my family!" Diamond said after she finished shuffling Fluttershy's deck.
Once both combatants returned to their fields with their own respective decks in hand, The announcer started the duel
"OK everypony, Looks like the next two duelists are ready for action, So....................."
"LET'S DUEL!!!!!!!" Came from everypony in the stadium including the two duelists themselves.
"If you don't mind, I'll start things off!" Diamond Tiara said as she pulled out her first 5 cards and drew her 6th, "And what better way to start than with this! I summon Crystalline Swordsman!"

Said Diamond Tiara as the three crystal humans suddenly turned into orange balls of light, "I'm gonna Overlay my Crystalline Gardna, Swordsman and Mage, To build the Overlay Network and call out the end of this duel!"
Whilst she was announcing her trump card, The three orange balls flew into a red vortex and dissapeared, After which the portal exploded revealing Diamond Tiara's best card "Arise, CRYSTALLINE DRAGON!!!!!"

"OK... MY TURN!!!" Fluttershy said with a new spark of confidence welling up inside of her, "I'll start by summoning Animal Goddess Butterfly!"

"WHAT?!" Diamond screamed with worry as the wolf-pelted woman was now charging straight at her.
"Go Goddess Wolf, Take a bite out of Diamond's Life Points, With Feral Frenzy Burst!" Fluttershy said as she started radiating pure light.
After she stopped, The woman held up her sword and let out a wolf like howl, After it stopped, There was a whole pack of actual wolves now charging at Diamond Tiara, All biting and/or scratching her as they passed.
"OW! That hurt, Even for me." Diamond said as she saw her Life Points drop to 2300.
Meanwhile in the lounge....
Darkwing was observing the two combatants very closely, Studying their attack patterns and decks for if he should have to duel them in the later rounds.
"Pathetic, Diamond, Just pathetic, I can't believe she used to be my champion of darkness." He said as if to scorn and give the "F*** you" gesture to the pink filly, "This Fluttershy on the other hand is quite impressive, It's only turn number 2 and she's already taken the lead, Fluttershy's obviously gained some confidence during our last encounter."
"So what's our plan again?" Discord asked Darkwing with a puzzled look on his face.
"This card that the voice gave to me is a Number Card."
*Flashback*
"A Number Card?"
"Yes, There are 99 of them, Supposedly, After a boy named Yuma Tsukamo won them all in his timeline, The Duel Monsters Commitee created harmless copies of them, That were supposedly safe for the general public, As for the original cards, I was able to salvage one from the wreckage of a dark envoy."
"This card will make you invincible, But at the same time it will corrupt you beyond retribution, Do you accept this power?"
"If it's to destroy those little equines, I don't really care if it destroys all of existance! I'll take it!"
"Very well, Champion Darkwing, Let this number take hold of you, Let it empower you, Bring forth the demise of these ponies with this one little card!"
*End Flashback*
"Number 96? Out of all 99 possible numbers, You landed at the bottom?!" Chrysalis said to him.
"Silence, Chrysalis! It matters not on what number they are, What matters is their power on the field that makes them truly godlike." Darkwing said in a fit of rage to the black swiss cheese of an alicorn.
"After all, The voice also told me of another power."
*Flashback*
"As well as Number 96 in your deck, I'm granting you another card, Think of it as a last resort."
"Chaos Number 96?"
"When your Life Points become 1000 or less, Overlay the original number 96 with three other level 3 monsters, And your victory will be assured."
"Very well then."

"So when i'm about to lose, I can recreate my original number into an almighty entity of darkness, This is a first, I've never seen a card game that's both good and evil at the same time." He said as he pulsated a dark aura with an evil grin on his face.
Back in the arena....
"Next i'll place two cards facedown and end my turn!" Fluttershy said placing her two giant card-shaped landmines on the field.
"OK then, My turn!" Diamond Tiara said with a furious expression on her face, "First i'll play the spell card, Lightning Vortex!"

"When this card springs to life, I can destroy both monsters on your side of the field!" She said as a lightning storm appeared in the arena, Striking down both of Fluttershy's monsters, To which she hid a grin.

"Now i can end this duel! Go Crystalline Dragon and Crystalline Snake! Seal her fate with Gemstone Blaze and Suffocating Shimmer!"
As the attacks were announced, The dragon launched a torrent of fire that would have been enough to turn its' skin into coal, While the snake charged at Fluttershy with fangs outstretched and tail coiled.
"Not this time." Was all that Fluttershy had to say before the attacks collided.
"YES! I WIN!!!!!!" Diamond said as the smoke started to fade away, "Wait, WHAT?!?! But that should have finished you!" She was shocked to see that Fluttershy was still standing, And Diamond Tiara's monsters were fading away.
"Thanks to Mirror Force, I stay in this duel, And you lose your monsters." Fluttershy said in her calm yet angry tone.

She said as a torrent of red magic consumed Diamond Tiara, Causing her to scream in pain as her Life Points became 200, "But that's not all i'm gonna do this turn, Next i'll play Revival Of The Goddesses!

"Thanks to this card, i can bring back Butterfly and Wolf at the same time to my field! But i'm not done yet! To finish off my collection, I'll activate Animal Crossroads one more time and special summon a new monster to my field, Come on out, Animal Goddess Bear!"

As the final attack was closing the gap between Diamond, A sinister smirk appeared on her face, As Fluttershy calmed down for a second she saw Diamond Tiara was laughing, Laughing in a maniacal yet annoying voice.
"Fool! Thinking you could stop me?! I activate my trap cards, Two copies of Thousand Unbreak!"

"Thanks to this trap card, I gain 10000 Life Points because you have 5 monsters out!" She said as she gained 10000 Life Points but then lost 1000 of them, "You played well Fluttershy, But unfortunately not well enough."
"Fine then, I'll just finish you with a barrage of attacks! Go Animal Goddesses, Use your creature auras and wipe Diamond Tiara from the face of existance forever!!!!" Fluttershy said in her rage form once more.
The combined ATK of all 5 of Fluttershy's monsters came to a grand total of 9300 ATK, But even with this number staring her down, All Diamond could do was laugh.
"Not gonna cut it, Flutts! I activate the effect of Disguised Jewels!"
Disguised Jewels (Spell)
As long as this spell card remains in the graveyard, All battle damage you take is cut in half.
"As long as this card is in my graveyard, All the damage i would take is now cut in half!!!!!" She struggled to say the effects as the winds were slamming her in the face, Reducing her Life Points to 4550.
"I'm S-Still H-Here!" Diamond said as she was fighting the hurricane of digital wind generated from that 5-attack combo, "And this Duel's only getting started!!!!!"

"Fluttershy has 5 monsters with a combined ATK of 9300, Even with Disguised Jewels in the Graveyard, That's still going to be enough points to obliterate Diamond next turn." He said in his serious analyctical expression, "Diamond Tiara is going to need a miracle if she's going to win."
"Something just doesn't sit right here." Twilight said as if listening up on this conversation, "Fluttershy's never been this angry before, Nor has she ever had this much desire to win, And before you even ask, We're ruling out Iron Will on this one."
"It's because Diamond Tiara is the centerpiece of evil ponies, A wolf in sheep's clothing." Sunset Shimmer said to her, "You and the others haven't seen what this little schoolfilly is capable of."
After Sunset finished explaining, She showed the Mane 6 what Diamond Tiara did in the past, Mostly to the CMC, "This is no ordinary school bully, She's the heart of darkness ifself, It only took me 3 months to decipher her true powers, If she falls into the wrong hands, She's gonna have enough power to overthrow the princess, This is probably why Darkwing recruited her and Silver Spoon all those years ago."
"She's no longer associated with me." Darkwing said to break up the chatter, "She had her chance to destroy you all and she failed miserably, However, This duel is my way of giving her another chance."
"Another chance?" Card Storm asked him.
"Yes, You see the prize up for grabs, The Equestria Core Crystal, Is linked to the Equestria Core itself, If Diamond gets her hooves on it, She's going to overpower and/or kill Celestia and Luna, So she can assume command of all of Equestria." Darkwing replied, "But don't worry girls, She's not getting the crystal, I AM!!!!"
"If you want that crystal, You'll have to win it fair and square." Sunset snapped at him.
"Which i intend to do, Little Shimmer, And speaking of duels, It looks like Diamond is making what could be the last draw of the match.
*"I need a miracle if i'm gonna win this duel, Come on Diamond, Pull out a winner."* She said to herself, "I DRAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The dragon's scales reflected light, Which in turn solidified into 3 rainbow coloured balls that were now orbiting it.
"But that's not all i've got, Next i'll play the equip spell, Refractor Cannon!"

Equip this to "Crystalline Dragon" only, The monster equipped with this card gains 500 ATK, And an additional 200 ATK for every "Crystalline" monster in your Graveyard.
"Thanks to this little headgear, I can boost Crystalline Dragon's Attack points by 500, Plus an additional 800 because i have 4 other Crystalline monsters in the graveyard." She said in her smug accent as a massive diamond encrusted rainbow coloured cannon was being attached to the dragon's head, After the last clamp attached, The dragon roared as it's ATK became 4100.
"Now i'll use one Overlay Unit to activate Crystalline Dragon's Special effect! You see, Fluttershy, Once per turn by using up one of it's Overlay Units, Crystalline Dragon can attack you...... DIRECTLY!!!!!" Diamond said in an evil voice as the dragon ate one of the orbiting balls and started conjuring up a fire in its' mouth, "Now go Crystalline Dragon!!!!! Burn Fluttershy to a crisp with Gemstone Inferno!!!!!"
The dragons' built up fire shot a streaking stream, Which bypassed all 5 of Fluttershy's monsters and impacted straight on the yellow pegasus, The force of this fire caused Fluttershy to scream in fear and pain as her Life Points tumbled all the way down to 900.
"And don't think i'm letting you off the hook yet! Next i'll place two cards facedown, That's all for now."
"Fluttershy's down to her last card, And that thing is stronger than all of her monsters!" Rainbow Dash said with a sign of worry on her face.
"You're absolutely right, Dash, Unless Fluttershy's next card is a game changer, Diamond Tiara is going through to the Quarter-Finals." Card Storm replied to the blue pegasus.
"Come on Fluttershy, You can do this!" Pinkie Pie said as the crowd fell silent.
*"One last card, But i'll make sure it's the winner!"* "Go DESTINY DRAW!!!!!" Flutershy said as her deck and drawn card started glowing a rainbow-like colour, *"YES! This is just the card i needed."*
"All right then, I'll play Card Of Sanctity, Allowing us both to draw up to 6 new cards!" She said as both mares drew their cards, "And now i'll Overlay my Animal Goddesses, Bear and Lion, With these two beautiful ladies, I build the Overlay Network and summon forth my ace in the hole! Arise! Animal Goddess Queen!"

"IT'S ALL OVER FOR YOU!!! Go, Animal Goddess Queen!!!! Wipe Diamond Tiara's smug little face of the face of Equestria forever with... ANIMAL KINGDOM EXODUS!!!!!!"
The woman charged up her staff with rainbow energy, Almost to the point where it would have exploded, But just before it was about to, The staff fired an enormous laser of rainbow energy, When it hit the dragon, It was vaporized into nothingness by the blinding light, And a few seconds later, Diamond Tiara was sent flying and screaming by the exact same laser as her Life Points came crashing down to 0.
"Next time, Leave the pettiness at home with your daddy." Fluttershy said as the field returned to the stadium and her monsters dissapeared.
"Whoa, Fluttershy, That.... Was...... AWESOME!!!!!!!" Was the 1st thing that Rainbow Dash said when Fluttershy returned to the lounge.
"That was an amazing duel, I wish my duels were always this exciting and long." Pinkie said to her.
"Thanks everypony, That really means a lot to me."
"You should get some rest darling, You're not expected to duel again until the other Quarter-Finalists have been chosen, Head on out and see the sights and most of all, Try some of the food." Rairty said to the yellow pegasus.
"So who's next to duel?" Fluttershy asked as she sat down with the others.
"Only one way to find out." Darkwing said as the cards started shuffling again.

The announcer said as everypony's cheering was intensified, "Diamond and Fluttershy were both on the ropes for a few turns, But in the end, Fluttershy will be moving on to the Quarter-Finals with Shining Armour, So let's see who's next to duel."
As the cards stopped once more, The two pictures were flipped over, The two pictures were of Sunset Shimmer and her demon form, Sunset Satan.
"OOH! I can tell this is going to be an exciting match up just by looking at these pics! It's former student, Sunset Shimmer, V.S her demonic dark side, Sunset Satan! Both of our duelists have only ten minutes to rest up and edit their decks and then the party shall begin!"
"So this is it, A chance to finally conquer the demon inside of me." Sunset Shimmer said as she stepped up from her couch and walked up to the 1st entrance corridor.
"Good luck, Sunset, I just know you'll win!" Twilight said as Sunset Shimmer walked into the arena.
On the other side of the arena, Sunset Satan was equipping her deck.
"Remember, She utilizes a fire deck, And fire decks can be quite destructive, Keep on your toes for constant ATK upping cards and abilities." Darkwing warned the demon as she walked out.
"Well i utilized fire as well, And as the saying goes: You gotta fight fire with fire!" Sunset Satan said as she stepped out into the arena as well.
Sunset Shimmer V.S Sunset Satan (Part 1)
"WELCOME BACK EVERYPONY!!!! TO THE 3RD MATCH OF THE 1ST ROUND!!!!!" The announcer said with his continuous loud voice, "IF YOU'RE JUST TUNING INTO THE ACTION WE'LL GIVE YOU THE LOWDOWN, TWILIGHT AND SHINING ARMOUR WERE THE 1ST TO CLASH, BUT SHINING ARMOUR CAME OUT ON TOP, SOON AFTER THAT DUEL WAS DIAMOND TIARA V.S FLUTTERSHY, THAT ONE WAS A CLOSE RUN CONTEST BUT IN THE END, FLUTTERSHY REIGNED SUPREME!!!!!"
"NOW WE'RE ABOUT TO KICKSTART THE 3RD MATCH! SO LETS MEET OUR NEXT DUELISTS, IN THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE FIELD, SHE'S TOUGH, SHE'S POWERFUL, AND SHE'S TAUGHT PONYKIND OF SOMETHING CALLED A HUMAN WORD, PLEASE WELCOME.... SUNSET SHIMMER!!!!!" A bunch of fire pillars arose around the red carpet than Sunset was walking on as she got closer to the field, "AND HER OPPONENT, FORGED FROM THE PURE ESSENCE OF GREED AND POWER, MATERIALIZED DUE TO THE DISRUPTION OF THE 2 WORLDS, AND BEARING A STRIKING RESEMBLANCE TO HER OPPONENT, RAISE YOUR APPLAUSE FOR... SUNSET SATAN!!!!" As he finished talking, The demon started walking down the path to her field, Creating a fiery crevasse behind her as she got closer.
"Now remember you two, I want to see those decks shuffled well and fair, Otherwise one of you will get disqualified." He said as the demon and the pony started shuffling the others' deck.
"This is it, Sunset, Time to show you what you can truly be capable of!" Sunset Satan said to her ponyself.
"The last time i became a powerhungry megabitch it didn't end well for me, So this time it's not gonna end well for you!" Sunset Shimmer said after she stopped shuffling and returned to her field.
"It looks like our two duelists are ready folks, Without further ado................."
"LET'S DUEL!!!!!!"
"I'll kickstart this duel if you don't mind, I draw!" Sunset Satan said whilst pulling out her first hand of 5 cards before drawing a 6th from her deck, "To start, I'll summon Hellspawn Prince to the field, Rise up, My warrior of dark fires!"

"When i've got no monsters on the field, I can summon this bad boy without a sacrifice, And when i do, I'm allowed to draw one card!" She said as her deck was set on fire during her draw and then extinguished immeidately afterwards, "Now let's see what i've got..."

"Yes! That's a five, Meaning i can Special Summon one Level 5 monster from my hand, Arise! Firemonger Incinerus!"

"OW! What was that?!" Sunset Shimmer said as her LP went down to 3000.
"First this card damages you for 1000 life points, Then you lose one card in your hand, Finally, I'll Overlay my Level 5 Firemonger Incinerus and Hellspawn Prince!" She said as the two monsters turned into red balls of light and flew up into the air, "With these two monsters, I build the Overlay Network, And call forth the ultimate firestorm!" Unlike the last duel though, A galaxy appeared and suddenly turned into a black hole, In which the two balls flew into before it exploded.
"Let's just say, Darkwing wasn't the only one given a Number!" She said as an archaic symbol that looked scarily like the number 61 was engraved on the back of her right claw and a dark aura suddenly appeared around her whole body "I X-Z Summon.... Number 61: Volcasaurus!"

"Since it's the first turn though, I can't attack you, So i'll just lay down 2 facedowns and leave it at that."
Back in the lounge....
"Number 61?" Said a puzzled Twilight.
"Are we confused over here?" Darkwing said, "Allow me to enlighten you."
"You see Numbers are very special X-Z monsters, They cannot be destroyed unless another Number is fighting them in battle, What's more is that when your LP are 1000 or less, You can overlay your number and call on a Chaos Number, or you could do it without the number and just follow the recipe, But doing it with the Number is more effective as the Chaos Number gets another special ability this way, These Chaos Numbers are unpredictable, Except for the fact that their abilities far surpass those of the Original Numbers."
"So unless Sunset Shimmer has a number card as well, Sunset Satan's Number is completely indestructible?!"
"Exactly, And so far, The only other Number holder in this tournament is me." He said as he held up his Number 96: Dark Mist card for everypony to see before pulling it back two seconds later before they got the chance to read it's powers.
"Sunset Satan was by far the most powerful entity of darkness besides me, And as such the voice second-in-commanded her with another Number card."
"This isn't fair!" Rainbow Dash said.
"LIFE ISN'T FAIR, DASHIE!!!!! ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU GET VAPORIZED BY PONIES AND HUMAN COPIES!!!!!!" Darkwing snapped.
"OK, MY MOVE!" Sunset Shimmer said through the TV.
"Oh yeah, The duel, Let's watch." Darkwing said as he returned to his seat.
*"This is a good hand to start with, Especially since i'm eyeing down a Number monster on my first turn, Now let's see what i can do.... Aha! This is bound to work!"* "I'll summon, Fireship Delta Max!"

"When this card is summoned onto my field, I can destroy both of your facedowns because you have a monster out," She said as the burning ship shot torpedoes at the two facedown cards causing them to blow up, "And for each one that goes kaboom, You lose 1000 Life Points!"
After the cards exploded, More torpedoes impacted directly on Sunset Satan's chest, Causing her to crash into a nearby pillar as her LP decreased to 2000.
"Next, I'll Special Summon, Firestorm Warrior Combustizar! You see, When you lose Life Points due to a special ability, I'm allowed to special summon this card directly from my hand.

I'll Overlay my Firestorm Warrior Combustizar and my Fireship Delta Max, To build the Overlay Network and call out the greatest living fire in the universe!" The two monsters just like before became red balls and flew into a red vortex this time, "I X-Z Summon... Infernal Warmonger Cataclysmagma!"

"Well, This is gonna be fun!" Sunset Satan said observing the new monster.
"Now it's REALLY time to fight fire with fire!!!!!" Sunset Shimmer said in a furious tone.

"Why didn't Sunset Shimmer attack?" Twilight asked as we cut back to the lounge.
"It's cause she knew attacking it head on would be a trap." Card Storm said after analyzing the two monsters, "At any one time during either player's turn, Volcasaurus can destroy one of its' Overlay Units and destroy Sunset Shimmer's monster, What's more is, If that was the case, She would also lose 2800 Life Points because it deals damage equal to that monster's original ATK, Meaning she would have been utterly defenceless, And Sunset Satan would have won."
"This demon really wants Sunset to lose." Rarity said to him.
"It's because both duelists are the same person, Meaning if one falls, The other consumes it and takes all of their powers and vice versa, Sunset Satan is looking to power herself up by destroying and consuming her ponyself."
"And when she does, The voice said he would be able to recreate all of the original numbers and bless them to us." Darkwing said with a sinister grin on his face, "As long as one of us wins this tournament, We all win the grand prize, TOTAL EQUESTRIA DOMINATION!!!!!"
"So this is your master plan? Defeat everypony in the tournament just so you can claim infinite power?" Twilight said after she pieced the plan together in her head.
"In a nutshell, Yes, But it's not just the tournament prize i'm after, It's my powers as well, You see i lost every single one of my dark magics during our last clash, The voice also said he would give me all of my dark power back if we won, And once it's mine again, I will SLAY princesses Celestia and Luna!"

Back in the arena.....
"Playing defence isn't going to stop me, Little equine form, I DRAW!!!!!!!" Sunset Satan said as her next turn began, "Now i'll summon, Dark Fire Disarm Adept!"

And then you take damage equal to it's ATK! Now go Volcasaurus, Live up to your expectations! Fissure Of Complete And Utter Incineration!" The dinosaur ate one of its' orbiting balls and created an earthquake crack with its' fire, This crack opened up underneath Sunset Shimmer's monster and caused it to fall into the incoming torrent of lava.
"No you don't! I activate one of Cataclysmagma's effects! By discarding an Overlay Unit, I can destroy every card on the field other than this card, And for each one, You lose 500 Life Points!" Sunset Shimmer said as at the last minute, The golem ate one of its' orbiting balls and summoned an enormous volcano, Said volcano then exploded, Raining meteors of pure fire down on the field, Destroying every single monster and facedown, And setting the whole stadium ablaze.
"Nice try, Shimmer, I'll play the effect of Doomblaze Eruption!"
Doomblaze Eruption (Quick Play Spell)
Activate only when an effect that destroys monsters is activated, All your monsters cannot be destroyed this turn, And you cannot lose any life points.
"Now my cards are indestructible, And i can't lose any Life Points! Game over, Little pony!" She said as an earthshaking explosion comsumed the whole stadium, Leaving nothing but a ruined building and a pile of ash and lava.
"Ooohh." Groaned an almost unconscious Sunset Shimmer as she struggled onto her hooves, She noticed her monster and traps were nonexistent and that her Life Points had been reduced to a measly 200
The audience and announcer had fled, The only other ponies that were still here, Were the ones in the miraculously still intact lounge.
"Now to claim my prize, Number 61! End this pony's life for good! Infernal Cataclysm Breath!" The dinosaur took a deep breath, Inhaling fire particles at the same time before shooting it all in the form of a massive laser directly at Sunset Shimmer.
"SUNSET! GET UP!!!!" Twilight said to her unconscious friend.
But it was no use, Sunset Shimmer had fainted just before the laser even struck her, Twilight was talking to a dead horse.
"SUUUUNNNNNSSSEEEETTTTTT!!!!" Twilight screamed as the amber unicorn was completely vaporized by the incoming laser.
As the LP counter hit 0, Twilight ran over to her friend, Although what she saw was horrifying, Sunset Shimmer had been burned all over, Her hair was completely on fire, And her cutie mark was replaced by a stream of blood, That was her last ever glimpse of the yellow pony before she faded away into a stream of yellow light, Only for that light to fly into Sunset Satan, Amplifying her dark aura so that the sky turned stormy and that it was raining fire.
"You.... You.... YOU ANIMAL!!!!!!" Twilight said as she became a violet torpedo and shot herself at the demon.
"You're one to talk, Little pony." Sunset Satan said as she grabbed the incoming Twilight and threw her into the mountains, Causing her to fly back to the ruined arena covered with blood and scars.
"Sunset, Save it for the next round, Then you'll have a chance to kill more ponies through dueling." Darkwing said as he held her back with his dark magic and took her back to the lounge.
"I warned you little equines, Nothing can defeat the darkness, And all who try get consumed and destroyed!"
"I'm coming for you, Darkwing!" Rainbow Dash said with a furious look on her face.
"That is a mistake, Little equines, However, i'm willing to make you an offer, Forfeit your next matches and i'll spare your lives, Or keep dueling, Keep risking your necks, And burn at the hands of the Numbers! You have until the next duel to decide, Your choice." He said before dissapearing into another portal.
Discord V.S Pinkie Pie (Part 1)
It was 3 weeks later that the stadium was rebuilt, And the tournament was back in action.
"Sorry for the delay everypony, We just had a tech difficulty after our last duel." The announcer said as he showed a video of Sunset Satan destroying the stadium and Sunset Shimmer with her Number 61 card, "BUT NOW THAT WE'RE BACK IN ACTION, LET'S SEE WHO'S NEXT TO DUKE IT OUT!!!!!"
The cards were once more shuffled erratically, Until the next two pics were revealed, Discord and Pinkie Pie were shown.
"OUR NEXT TWO DUELISTS ARE QUITE BIZARRE, IT'S THE SPIRIT OF CHAOS, DISCORD, V.S THE 4TH WALL KILLER, PINKIE PIE!!!!" He said as the two duelists were prepping their decks in the lounge.
"Remember, Pinkie, Discord's deck and style can be very erratic, Be ready for anything!" Twilight told her.
"Don't worry girls, I've got this, Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me right?" Pinkie said as she recalled her corruption, "He's not gonna fill me with lies again!"
"Pinkie Pie eh? This should be quite entertaining." Discord said as he entered the stadium
"IT'S TIME FOR THE 4TH OF 8 DUELS IN OUR FIRST ROUND!!!! LET'S MEET OUR COMBATANTS, FIRST UP HAILING FROM PONYVILLE, SHE'S HYPERACTIVE, SHE'S STRANGE, AND SHE DESPISES THE 4TH WALL, LET'S HERE IT FOR.... PINKIE PIE!!!!!!!" He said as the pony shot herself through the corridor with her party cannon and miraculously landed on her field, "AND HER CHALLENGER, HE'S ALSO QUITE BIZARRE, PUN INTENDED AND PUN NOT INTENDED, WELCOME TO THE RING, THE SPIRIT OF CHAOS AND DISHARMONY, DISCORD!!!!!!!" The red carpet that discord was supposed to walk on was actually discord changing his look, In the blink of an eye, The carpet became what looked like an animal almanac had exploded and taken the form of a humaniod creature, "Shuffle the decks well, You two."
"I see you refused Darkwing's offer, Biggest mistake of your life!" He said as he shuffled Pinkie's cards in a hurricane.
"If i'm sure on one thing that isn't whimsical and nonsencical, It's that no-one destroys innocent ponies and gets away with it! After i crush you, HE'S NEXT!!!!" Pinkie said whilst shuffling Discord's deck in a blender.
Once both combatants' decks were shuffled well, The announcer spoke up once more, "The decks have been shuffled, And miraculously unharmed, So........."
"LET'S DUEL!!!!!!!"
"I'm gonna start this party train off! I Draw!" Pinkie said as she took her cards with vigor and confidence, "To start, I'm gonna summon forth, Party Beast Streamers!"

"NOW THIS IS WHERE THE PARTY'S AT!!!!!" Pinkie had to shout over the deafening music that was playing in the arena, "NOW I PLACE 3 CARDS FACEDOWN, IT'S YOUR TURN NOW!!!!!!!!"
"FINE THEN, I DRAW!!!!" Discord also had to shout, Just to get through the deafening music to get to Pinkie's ears, "FIRST I'LL PLAY THE FIELD SPELL, LABYRINTH OF DISHARMONY AND TORMENT!!!!!!"

When he slammed the card into the specific "Field Spell" slot, The stadium suddenly changed into Discorded Canterlot Labyrinth, With 6 passages all leading to the Mane 6's original corruption all those moons ago.
"NOW YOU CAN'T SUMMON A MONSTER WITHOUT IT LOSING ALL OF IT'S ATTACK POINTS!!!!!! FURTHERMORE I GAIN ALL THE ATK OF A MONSTER EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU SUMMON ONE!!!!!!!" He said with anger and happiness on his face, "NEXT, I SUMMON, CONFUSION DEMON: ANGER!!!!!!!"

And after the card was laid down, A demonic chorus of laughter could be heard in the distance, Much like the laughing on The Smiler, After it subsided, A single balloon appeared on Discord's field, Only to explode revealing a ghost-like entity made out of teal energy and bearing an angry face.
"NOT THIS TIME, DISCORD!!!!!!" Pinkie said as she tried to avoid the dark aura from consuming her.
"Very well, Pinkie! I was hoping to win in a civilized manner but you've forced my hand! Now i play Confusion Demon: Rage's Special Ability, Once a turn, I can steal all of your monster's Attack Points! So now, My demon has 2600 ATK and your Disco Ball has NONE!!!!!!" He said as the Demon pulled off the same trick that it used on the pink pony last time, As it went into effect, A dark green stream of energy flowed out of the giant disco ball, And was being absorbed into the teal coloured demonic ghost, The onscreen ATK counter showed that the ATK windows of both monsters had been swapped.
"NOW GO, CONFUSION DEMON: RAGE!!!!! DESTROY PINKIE'S MONSTER WITH CRESTFALLING CACKLING!!!!!!!" After Discord announced his attack, The evil laughing started up again, It kept going until it forced the giant disco ball to cover his ears.
"Don't think so! I'll play, Negative Undoing!"

As we return to the field, Discord starts glowing the same black aura that Sunset Satan was radiating during her duel, "Now Pinkie!" He said with a new voice, One that was twisted cold and hissing constantly, "It isssss time, for you to sssssuffer! I Draw!"

As the Demonic theme for a Number's summoning was played in the background, An enormous puppet that looked like an angel with one wing descended onto the field, It brandished an enormous sword and had no strings attached to it even though it was a puppet monster, The archaic 40 was on the right wing's feather connector, And two dark purple balls were orbiting it.
"What in Equestria is that thing?!" Pinkie said with a horrified look on her usually happy face.
"This thing in Equestria, Is your undoing, And the key to corrupting you once more!!!!!!" Discord's new voice said with an evil laugh at the end.
