An interesting predicament

Jack wakes up in ponyville after an attack on his battleship the Arizona. He makes it his mission to find out what happened, after he learns how to fly of course.

My first story advice is appreciated.

Chapter 1

My name is Private Jack White; I’m 23 years old and probably should be dead right now. But we’re skipping ahead by a lot let me go back to where it all started.
It was not long ago that I was on the USS Arizona, and I know what you’re thinking “the Arizona? Wasn’t that destroyed in pearl harbor during the attack on December 7th 1941?” Yes it was and by all rights I should be very dead I mean it’s 2012 I should either be in a retirement home, buried in some cemetery or spread all over the pacific?
I mean I was there I saw that damned plane fly in and drop that bomb that killed all my friends. Why I didn’t die I don’t know all I do know is one minute I’m working the munitions elevator and the next thing I know I wake up as a freaking horse, or stallion being helped up by some yellow and pink horse, or pony asking if I’m alright!
So back to the present or past whatever I don’t know according to her it’s 2012 and about an hour ago I was talking to my friend about how the Japanese are starting to worry me. This yellow pony helps me up and very nervously asks if I’m alright, I guess she has a right to be worried according to her there was a huge explosion and all of a sudden I’m lying in a smoking crater where her favorite trees used to be.
“Um, excuse me, are you okay?” this strange pony asked while helping me up with surprising gentleness. “No where am I? And who are you? And why am I a horse?!”
“Um well I was walking rainbow dash’s pet turtle and I heard this big explosion and I wanted to make sure that no one was hurt and then I found you. Here lean on me before you fall again, if that’s okay.”
Still dizzy and not completely sure I’m not hallucinating I asked, “Who are you and what’s going on?”

She said “oh my name’s Fluttershy and you’re in Ponyville”
I stopped and stared at this smiling yellow and pink pony and realized I wasn’t hallucinating and was holding on to her not with an arm with a hand and fingers but with a green hoof. I couldn’t believe it and told her so, maybe with some language that could be considered a bit strong but to be fair I had just woken up as a horse. Fully awake now and feeling the new sensation of walking on ground with hooves and realizing all injuries I actually had I passed out again.
“Where did you find him? He looks awful” a feminine voice asked not fluttershy more proper and sounding less worried about me and more worried about my looks.
“I saw the explosion from my cloud! It was huge I’ve never seen anything like it before it was even bigger than my sonic rainboom! I gotta ask him how he did it!” Yelled a second voice this one was more excited about my apparent ability to blow shit up.
“Not now rainbow dash, we need to make sure he’s okay before you start trying to get him to blow more stuff up” Said the third voice this one sounded the most concerned.
I slowly opened my eyes and saw a white unicorn with a purple mane looking over my burned and torn army uniform, a blue and rainbow pegasus flying back from a tower of smoke covered in soot and smiling ear to ear, and finally a purple unicorn with a glowing horn checking something on my side.
“Wha, happened?” I managed to croak while trying to sit up.
“Don’t move you’re pretty banged up, the purple one said my names Twilight, over there is Rarity and your biggest fan is Rainbow dash. She said motioning to the white unicorn and then the flying Pegasus.
“Do you remember anything?” asked Twilight
“All I remember was loading the cordite and the next thing I know I’m getting picked up by some yellow pony.”
“Yeah that’s Fluttershy she came running to me a little while after that big explosion and Rarity came with me, Rainbow dash was already helping with damage control.”
That was the first time I got a good look at my surroundings and noticed everything how vibrant the colors were how Twilight was looking at me with curiosity and a little fear.
“We’d better get you to my place till your better then we’ll figure out what happened c’mon.”
Twilight’s horn started glowing and I started to stand and walk next to her without walking. I looked down and saw my legs moving on their own while surrounded with a purple glow, we walked in silence for a minute while a lot of other pegasus’s flew towards the smoke, finally Twilight started talking about what happened.
“So before when I asked what happened you said you were loading cordite?”
“Yeah I was loading it so we could start shooting back at… you don’t know what that is do you?”
“No sorry is it some kind of magic?”
“No it’s an explosive that until now I thought was pretty stable.”
“Well that would explain the crater and fire”
We walked for another few minutes in silence not sure what to say until we got to the town.
“Well here we are, ponyville c’mon I’ll take you to my house I have an extra bed you can stay in till you get better.”
“Thank you I just need time to clear my head.”
Twilight guided me to a house and guided me to a room off to the side, she yelled to something called spike that they had a guest and to help me but I was too tired to even try to think. The next thing I knew I was lying in a bed staring at a purple and green dragon asking me if I needed anything. I couldn’t do anything but ask what he was, he didn’t seem all that surprised but why should he, he lives in a place with talking ponies.
“My name’s Spike! What’s yours?”
“Uh just call me G.I.”
“Okay G.I! If you need anything just let me know.”

Chapter 2

So after deciding that I should really get some sleep and then learn how to walk I managed to relax and fall asleep.
The next day I wake up and try to get out of bed. I very greet the floor and remember I have 4 hooves now and shouldn’t try to walk upright. I then start walking on my new 4 legs and realize it’s not as hard as I previously thought I walk outside to see the smoke is still billowing up from my crater. I watch it with fascination and a little guilt that I’m probably destroying a good chunk of the forest right now. As I start to wander around a pink pony ambushes me from behind.
“Morning…”
She starts to say before she realizes she doesn’t know me.
“A new friend! Hi I’m pinkie pie! What’s your name?”
“Uh, G.I.” I say wondering how she could be so energetic.
“I gotta go and set up your welcome party!”
“Okay?”
Pinkie pie then bounces away singing something.
“Well that was odd”
“So how do your wings feel?”
I turn and notice spike is standing next to me pointing at my bandaged torso.
“Wings? I don’t have any wings.”
“Of course you do here look”
Spike then starts taking my bandages off and I see that he’s right I really have a set of wings
“I didn’t even know I had them, I don’t even know how to use them.”
“Oh don’t worry about that I’m sure Fluttershy can teach you the basics and then if you want Rainbow dash can teach you some tricks”
I nod while trying how to make my new wings move.
“Anyway lemme give you the grand tour of Twilight’s house and the town.
“Okay lead then lead the way”
Spike nods and leads me through Twilights book filled house as I walk into the main room I realize just how much she likes to read and how the air is saturated with magic.
“This is the library and main room, on your right and up those stairs is Twilight’s room across from her room is your room, then if you head straight you’ll find the kitchen and bathroom, and that’s about it also the basement is where Twilight does most of her magic experiments so it’s probably best if you don’t go down there unless she says so.”
“Okay, you know anywhere to get something to eat?”
Spike thinks for a second.
“Well since you don’t eat gems I’d recommend going to the bakery down the road they make great cupcakes.”
“As long as they make something I can eat I don’t care I’m starving, I’ll see you later spike.”
I start walking through the town noticing all the colorful ponies walking around but even more than that I notice all the guards tucked away in the corners of the town trying to look inconspicuous they’re all talking amongst themselves I also noticed all the flying ponies carrying firefighting equipment heading towards my crash site.
Did I really do that much damage or are they just looking for some excitement? I was still lost in my thoughts when I walked into the bakery and was ambushed for a second time by Pinkie pie but this time there were a lot more ponies there and they all had party hats and were shouting welcome. I smiled and tried to not get tackled by pinkie pie again, she’s surprisingly fast and managed to pin me again.
“Were you surprised? Oh I can’t wait to introduce you to everyone, you already know Spike, Twilight, Rainbow dash and Fluttershy, I think the only person you haven’t met is Applejack! I’ll be right back!”
Pinkie pie dashes off while I try to find something to eat that won’t give me diabetes with one bite, the place is even bigger than Twilights place and it’s stacked to the rafters with all sorts of cakes, candies and any other kind of sweet I could imagine, but all I really wanted was to find Fluttershy so I could learn how to use my new wings, I started wandering around the bakery while greeting every pony that came up to me. Finally I found Fluttershy trying to sneak outside.
“Hey Fluttershy I’m glad I found you I was wondering if we could talk.”
“Oh uh sure, about what?”
“Well after Spike took my bandages off I realized I had wings!”
I turn to my side to show her my wings tucked into my side.
“Oh I didn’t know you had wings! I’d be more than happy to show you how to fly, if you want.”
“I’d really appreciate it, when do you think we could start?”
“Um well I have to take care of all the animals without homes now and I also have to feed all my pets, I guess you could come over in an hour if you don’t mind of course.”
“No no an hour sounds good I’d like to get my bearings and get used to walking around on 4 legs. I’ll see you then.”
“Okay my house is right up that road it’s the one with all the pet houses.”
She motions to a house on a hill on the outskirts of town.
“Okay I’ll meet you there in an hour.”
She nods then runs off, I start wandering the rest of the town trying to find something to do while watching all the flying ponies and unicorns, all of a sudden a grey pony drops a bucket of water on me, then the bucket, and then herself.
“Oops sorry!”
“It’s okay, I’ve been through worse.”
The grey pony looked worried but then started smiling again and picked up the bucket that she accidentally dropped on my head.
“I have to go sorry!”
She then flew off almost hitting several other flying ponies’ while yelling apologies; I get the feeling she does this quite often. it had almost been an hour so I decided to head over to Fluttershy’s house, once I got there I saw every animal I had ever heard of and a few I’d only see in my wildest imagination’s imagination. I walked up to Fluttershy while she was putting out the feed for several of the smaller animals.

Chapter 3

“Hey Fluttershy.”
She spun around looking surprised but then realized it was me and relaxed
“Oh it’s only you, you startled me are you ready to start flying.”
“Oh yeah but I’ve never tried to before, hell I haven’t even moved them yet.”
“That’s okay we’ll take it nice and slow, just start by focusing on flexing your wings.”
I figure out how to move my wings and realize it’s surprisingly easy and it’s not long before I can move them without a problem.
“Okay now just flap them like this, until you feel yourself start to lift, try not to flap too hard or you could hurt yourself.”
I nod and start moving my wings up and down faster and faster at first it’s hard like trying to ride a bike without training wheels, I start to get stronger and before I know it I’m hovering about 20 feet above the ground.
“Hey Fluttershy look! I’m hovering!”
“Oh wow you’re really good!”
It then dawns on me that I don’t know how to stop without falling.
“Uh Fluttershy”
“Yes G.I.?”
“How do I get down from here?”
Oh that’s the easy part all you have to do is start flapping slower and relax as you land.
“Okay just give me a second, flap slower and relax.”
As I’m starting to gracefully fall the grey pony comes out of nowhere and does me the favor of getting me to land much faster than I intended but I wasn’t going to land anytime soon anyway.
“Oh dear Derpy are you alright?”
Fluttershy asks while I dig myself out from under Derpy.
“Yeah I’m okay sorry again.”
I stand up and brush myself off.
“That’s alright, my names G.I. and yours is Derpy?”
“Yep! I’d like to help you clean up but I gotta go it’s almost time!”
Derpy flies away in a way that makes me think she prefers to crash land rather than just land.
“What was that all about Fluttershy?”
“Pinkie pie’s having a party for all the ponies that helped put out the fires from your crash.”
“It took them all day to put it out? I didn’t think I made much of a mess.”
“Oh yeah you made a huge crater and a lot of trees around you caught fire, for some reason they couldn’t put the fire out until they started using water that was enchanted to not evaporate.”
“Wow, well I’d better get home I think I’ve learned enough for one lesson, I’ll see you tomorrow Fluttershy.”
Fluttershy has already gone back to her animals and replies that she’ll see me around, I don’t think she even noticed I’d gone for a few minutes. I start wandering in the vague direction of Twilights house and notice how clear the night sky is here, I can hear the party for the firefighters going on in the bakery. I finally find Twilights house and am about to go in when I hear her arguing with Rarity.
“We have to tell Princess Celestia!”
“No we can’t we don’t know what will happen.”
“You know what’s happening and you can’t keep her in the dark forever he’s the most destructive yet and you know it’s only going to get worse.”
“He might be the worst of it, just give me more time and I’ll figure out why this is happening.”
“Fine but I’m warning you Twilight if anything else happens the Princess is going to hear about what her favorite student is doing.”
Rarity storms out while I hover in the air; after she’s out of sight I forget the landing lessons and fall to the ground with a thump. After making sure no one saw that I head inside to see what’s going on.
“Twilight, you alright?”
“Hmm? Oh yeah I’m fine listen I have to do some work in my study spike’s upstairs if you need anything.”
She hurries off without a backwards glance, I head upstairs to see if I can get anything out of Spike, turns out he’s a very heavy sleeper I tried everything except shooting him out of a cannon and he didn’t even react. Oh well I’ll sneak into Twilight’s study after she goes to sleep tonight, maybe she keeps a journal. I wander off to look at some of the books Twilight has when all of a sudden I get very sleepy, no matter what I do I can’t keep myself from falling asleep, it’s not the normal sleep either it’s that heavy dead sleep where you don’t even have the energy to dream.
I wake up with a bag over my head and my legs all tied up I can’t move at all and all I can hear is the rush of air over the bag. I start to try to get the bag off my head when all of a sudden something blunt hits me in the back of the head I sink back into blackness. The next time I wake up I’m a prison with the same guards watching me, this is the first chance I have to get a good look at their uniforms and weapons. The guards all seem to have black looking armor with faceless helmet’s they all have vicious curved swords and several have spears, these are not the normal kind of prison guards they look like the Princess’s personal guard.
“I’ve got to find some way to talk to the king or queen, if only I knew where they were.”
“King or Queen? What are those?”
I turn and notice another stallion sitting in the cell next to me; he’s a pegasus too and by the looks of it was on the losing side of a fight recently.
“The king and queen you know the people above princess or prince?”
“I’ve never heard of them, the princess is as high as you go, she’s the final authority.”
“So you’ve never had a king or queen? Well that’s just great I’ve got to convince a pissed off princess that whatever she thinks I did I actually didn’t. I’m so screwed.”
The other stallion tries to laugh but I can tell he’s taken more than a few punches to the chest.
“Yeah your screwed alright this here’s the holding cell’s if you’re in here you’re already guilty. She’ll probably send you to the moon. That’s where I’ve been sentenced to go.”
“The moon? Your prison is the moon?”
“Well yeah it’s the safest place in the world for dangerous convicts like me and very soon you, you never have to worry about a prison break their on another world altogether, but you don’t have to worry about that oh no your real problem is going to be Nightmare Moon.”
I start to wonder what I could have done to piss off the princess when without a word the guards open my cell door and drag me out with such strength and speed I didn’t even have a chance to say goodbye to my cell mate. In a matter of seconds I’ve been dragged from a dark dingy prison to a royal court filled with all my so called friends sitting beside the princess. The princess is sitting in a huge throne and has rainbow colored hair wings and a horn and she towers over everyone else in the room.
“So this is the one called G.I. tell me G.I. why have you come here?”
“Uh I didn’t, I was reading when I was attacked and... “
“Silence! I hereby find you guilty of intent to cause chaos and destruction to all of equestria; I hereby sentence you to life imprisonment on the moon!”
I can’t help but ask her if she’s kidding or not, although it’s in much more colorful language and while the black armored guards drag me away and back to my cell. After they through me in with no apparent effort I notice my cell mate has also been dragged away from his cell I assume he’s already been shot to the moon and I sit wondering how my life has changed so drastically in the past few days. while lost in my thoughts I don’t notice a pony in wizard robes nod at me and have the guards drag me to what I assume is the banishing room or whatever it’s not important, the point is I was about to be shot at the moon and I was more than a little worried. While I was trying to talk to this robed pony we enter a barren stone room with a small platform with a few symbols around it and the guards drag me onto it and all of a sudden I can’t move a muscle. I try my last attempts at getting any kind of response from the guards but to no avail they are statues. Finally someone say’s something other than me.
“My name is the magnificent Trixie and I’m here to banish you to the moon. There is no point in struggling you’re fighting against magical bonds, people stronger than you have tried to break those bonds and as I’m sure you can guess none have succeeded. Now just hold still this will take only a minute and you’ll be in your new home.”
I try to say something back to her along the lines of where she should stick her spells but now I can’t even speak. Trixie starts chanting and the air around me starts to spin and crackle with energy I feel myself start to fade and notice how everyone in the room has turned to smoke and faded now all I can see is spinning blackness, the next thing I know I’m lying somewhere and a jet black hoof steps right in front of me.
“Why hello there, you must be G.I. discord has told me so much about you.”
“Discord? Who the hell is discord?”
“I’m Discord you silly man.”
I turn and notice princess celestia change shape into this dragon with all sorts of different limbs and horns standing before me.
“Oh don’t act so surprised, of course I know you’re not really a stallion after all I’m the one who brought you here. Well not you specifically you see I was actually trying to get the explosion you were standing in the middle of it was a wonderful blast and did cause a fair bit of chaos but you had to be there you managed to absorb a good chunk of that blast and that ruined all my wonderful plans.”
“So that’s why there were so many guards all around ponyville you were looking for me!”
“Actually no I had those guards there to watch and make sure no one was questioning my authority, you were just a happy accident and the best part is I can blame that fire on you! I don’t have to think of another reason for the destruction I’ve been raining down on equestria I can just say you were doing it and be able to spread even more chaos! Now send him to his cell Nightmare I have a kingdom to run!”
With that he disappears into a puff of smoke and I finally notice the other pony in the room with me, she’s fairly scary looking she’s bigger than me has the same kind of armor Discord’s guards have and approaching me with an evil look in her eye.
“Alright fresh meat let’s get you to your new home I’m sure you’ll love your new guests.”
And with that she picks me up with her magic and hurls me down the cell block past countless other pony’s and stallions and finally into a cell next to my old friend who looks a little better, it seems like the guards here haven’t been beating him as thoroughly as before.
“So you got the moon I see.”
“Yeah my names G.I. by the way.”
“Mines Cipyar, nice to meet you G.I.”
“So Cipyar how’d you get in here?”
“Well this is going to sound crazy but I’m not actually from here.”
“I can relate.”
“No I mean I’m not even from equestria, I’m from another world called earth.”
I stare at him for a minute. Could this be true? I’m not the only one Discord sent here by mistake?
“I know what you mean I’m from earth too, I was a soldier on the Arizona when it was attacked by the Japanese, I was loading the munitions elevator when a bomb hit it then I ended up here.”
“The Japanese attacked us?! Those bastards! I didn’t even think they were involved.”
“Well they are now it won’t be long before we have to go after them I was actually on my way to fight in Europe, my unit got shipped there I was on my way to link up with the rest of my squad.”
The other stallion nods and moves closer to the bars separating us.
“Tell me did my unit make it out okay?”
“I don’t know who were they?”
“We had just pushed into the Argonne forest and were surrounded I was almost crushed by an artillery shell and then I was lying in the ruins of a building, the next thing I knew I was kidnapped by those faceless guards and brought before Celestia.”
“The Argonne forest?”
“Yeah what happened?”
“That was a battle that happened in world war 1, the Japanese attacked us now which is world war 2.”
He just stares at me trying to put it together, I don’t blame him I’d be shocked if I found out I’d been here that long and that another world war was happening.
“How can there be another world war? After all the fighting I’ve seen I can’t believe someone would be stupid enough to start another. And how could there already be another? I haven’t been here more than a week!”
“It was December 1941 when I got here, so I don’t know, I do know world war 1 ended in 1919 so either you’ve been here a long time or Discord is simply picking violent events from any time in history.”
“You’re probably right, but hey listen I’ve got a plan for how we can get out of here.”
“Okay I’m listening.”
“If we’re both soldiers then I’m willing to bet there’s got to be even more here too so all we have to do is find them and organize a prison break.”
“Okay but even if we do start a riot get past all the guards and beat Nightmare moon how are we gonna get back to equestra to stop Discord?”
“Well we got here on a teleporting pad it must be 2 way since Nightmare moon and Discord seem to travel back and forth pretty often.”
“Okay I’ll start looking for people who will fight for us and you try to find some weapons these guards are well armored and not going down without a fight.”
Cipyar nods and we both wait until the cell doors open and we are free to walk the courtyard, I start looking for anyone who looks like they might be able to fight when I see him, another stallion like me but he’s not two toned like everyone else he’s completely black and chained to a wall. No one seems to go near him and anyone he looks at walks away from him very quickly. I wonder who he could be and why everyone’s so afraid of him but I don’t have time to worry about it now I’ve got to find some soldiers.
Skipping ahead a few day’s I’ve found some other soldiers and found out that Discord is picking violent events in time so he can harness that destruction and bring it here, anyone he accidentally teleports with the destruction he rounds up and sends here. I ask everyone I can about that chained up stallion and no one knows what I’m talking about. Everytime I mention him they keep saying there’s no such pony in this jail, even when I point him out to people they say they don’t see anyone, it’s very strange. Next time I see him I’m going to talk to him and find out what’s going on.

Chapter 4

So the next day I casually wandered over to the chained up stallion and just as I’m about to talk to him all of a sudden I can hear his voice in my head. It’s very weird but at this point I’m just rolling with the punches.
“Hello Jack, I’ve been waiting for you to notice me.”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean right now you think you’re talking to a stallion, but to anyone else you’re staring at a wall right now. I’m simply an illusion, a messenger if you will for a higher power locked deep inside this prison and I need you to rescue them.”
“Rescue them?”
“Yes if you want any chance of defeating Discord and Nightmare moon you’re going to have to rescue them.”
“Even if I could get past all the guards and security I don’t even know what I’m looking for.”
“Isn’t if obvious? You’re looking for the real Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.”
“Let’s just say I do decide to go and try to rescue them and I make it past the legions of guards, security, and let’s not forget Nightmare freaking moon, and figure out where they are how will I get them out?”
The stallion smiles and starts to fade as he says.
“You’ll know how to free them when the time is right. Good luck Jack we’re all counting on you.”
And with that he vanishes and I almost yell at the wall for being so goddamned vague. So I go back to Cipyar and tell him what just happened expecting him to laugh and say I’ve already gone crazy but he’s surprisingly accepting, I guess being trapped in a world populated by flying ponies helps you suspend your disbelief more easily. So we both think of ways to get down to the super max part of the jail where both princesses are hopefully being held. After a few days of studying the guard’s behavior, schedule, routes and weapons we decided the simplest way to explore the prison without being caught is to start a riot and hope we can organize the mob to keeping the guards busy while we find and save these princesses.
“Alright Cipyar you ready?”
“Yep I’ll go the cafeteria and get the others to start fighting and while that’s happening you start the fights in the gym, then we’ll meet at the guard tower and figure out where in the hell these princesses are.”
“Okay I’ll see you in a bit.”
Cipyar runs to the cafeteria and I start a brisk walk to the gym after a few minutes I see a few more guards running to the cafeteria and realize our other conspirators were probably a little eager to start killing guards. I run the rest of the way to the gym and grab a 20 pound weight and smash the nearest guard over the head with it. He goes down and I yell riot, everyone else in the room immediately jumps a guard and we very quickly have their weapons and armor, I lead them to the guard tower and see Cipyar has had similar success. We both direct our mobs to attack all the guards and to free as many prisoners as they can. Then Cipyar and I run into the base of the guard tower. As we walk into the abandoned surveillance room we can see the guards weren’t prepared for this at all and are being slaughtered. Cipyar laughs and starts looking for the emergency cell release button.
“Hey I think I found it!”
“Well don’t just stand there push it! We got to take this prison before any reinforcements arrive.”
He hits the button and all the cell doors open and the riot goes to a full scale assault. I also isolate the rooms with riot gear and seal them so the guards can’t get to them.
“Alright that’s taken care of now all we have to do is find Celestia And Luna then get the hell out of here.”
I start searching all the monitors and eventually find 2 very small ones on the far end of the wall where all the TV’s are mounted.
“Well that’s probably them.”
“How do you know?”
“These are the smallest TV’s and the rooms are the darkest looking and these are the only 2 horses that are chained to the walls.”
“Good point lets go.”
Cipyar and I run outside where we can see the riot’s going very well, most of the guards are either dead or almost beaten and nothing’s on fire which is always good. We both run across the courtyard and find an elevator that goes to the bowels of the prison where the super max cells are. Its key card activated but luckily there’s a dead guard with his I.D still attached. We slide it in the card reader and the doors open up to a completely white elevator with a disinfectant smell hanging in it. Cipyar turns to me and says.
“Oh man it’s going to be a horror show down there isn’t it?”
“Yeah probably but we have to rescue them or we’ll be in here forever.”
“Shit, fine but we get killed I’m blaming you.”
I push the button for the basement and the elevator moves without a sound except for our nervous breathing. Finally it makes it to the ground floor and the doors open silently to a sterile white hallway with nobody in it. We slowly step out and find we can’t hear anyone at all; in fact our hoofs make the most noise.
“Where the hell is everyone?”
I whisper to Cipyar?
“I don’t know this place gives me the creeps.”
As we walk down the hall some more we it takes a sharp left then widens here there’s still no one to be found but now there are doors with one way windows so we could see in at whoever was in the cell without them knowing we were there. Cipyar takes the right side while I took the left. As we walked I had this uneasy feeling like someone was watching me but as I glanced around the hall and into each cell I passed there wasn’t a single soul in here that I could see except for me and Cipyar, once I got to the end of the hallway I was about ready to run the hell out of this creepy hospital, mental ward, thing but just before I was going to start backing away I saw her, princess Celestia, she looked like crap but I could tell she wasn’t dead yet. Cipyar came over to me and said Luna was in the cell across from Celestia.
“It looks like we got to them just in time.”
“Yeah, help me open Celesta’s cell then we can get Luna out.”
We struggle for a few minutes before giving up. The doors are sealed shut and I guessed were either going to open with a few pounds of heavy explosive or finding the control panel and just unlocking them. Since we needed the princess alive and not smeared all over the wall’s I opted to find the control panel.
“I really hope the guard station is nearby, I’ll be right back stay here and keep a look out for any guards.”
Cipyar nodded, and with that I started walking down the hall further and further for what seemed like forever until I finally found a desk, but the monotors built into it were showing static and all the controls were locked I decided to save time and get the hell out of here as quickly as I could the fastest way to do this was to tear all the wires out of this desk and start rearranging them till something happened, luckily after a minute or two all the doors I could see opened and from the echoing from down the hall I guessed I got all the doors open, so I ran back to Cipyar and found him helping Celestia down.
“Thank you Jack I knew I could count on you.”
“Your welcome but as soon as we get out of here your explaining what in the hell is going on.”
“I will tell you anything you want to know just as soon as we rescue Luna and control this prision.”
“I’ll hold you to that, c’mon Cipyar let’s get Luna out.”
Cipyar and I struggle with Luna’s chains for a minute before we free her as well, it turns out she was in worse condition then we thought.

Chapter 5

Turns out Luna was a bit more insulting to whoever was guarding here down here and they decided to teach her a lesson, or several from the looks of all the bruises she had. Cipyar and I had to drag her to the elevator. As we walked to the elevator we could hear rumbling from the upper levels.
“Sounds like the place is tearing itself apart”
Said Cipyar Princess Celestia turned to him and said.
“We have to get out of here quickly”
“Don’t worry we overwhelmed the guards before we came down here by now we should have control of most of the jail.”
“It’s not that Cipyar, if we don’t get to the main control room soon Discord will send an army here and not with normal weapons, he’ll use much more powerful and deadly ones from your world.”
I have to pause for a second, Discord getting his hands on modern machine guns? We’d be mowed down without a fight, what good are spears when the enemy can shoot you without even getting within striking range? While running to the elevator I asked Celestia.
“Wouldn’t he have some here in case of a riot?”
“No he only has a handful of them and he only gives them to his most elite guards.”
“So why would he send those guards here instead of more normal ones to just overwhelm us?”
“Because this prison doesn’t exist, there aren’t any in Equestria because any one that doesn’t like what’s going on can just move somewhere else, I don’t know why but for some reason there was a rumor going around that I sent people to the moon and I guess that’s where Discord got the idea as to where he was going to put all his prisoners.”
We get to the elevator and luckily the doors open without delay and we hit the button for the ground floor. And this is a good time to explain how magic seems to work in Equestria, any unicorn can perform magic, and depending on their natural skill and how they’ve been taught they can perform various things with different levels of proficiency, now Cipyar was a normal pony, I had wings and Celestia and Luna had wings and horns. I’m telling you this because we would be dead because of what is about to happen. So anyway back to the elevator, we’re moving up and all of a sudden it shudders and stops, since the prison is rioting I assume someone got excited and blew something up that they weren’t supposed to, this was not the case apparently the guards had pushed the prisoners out of the area that our elevator was in and had decided to cut the elevator cords so no one could get out, I have no idea if they knew we were in there but either way. So the elevator stops and starts jolting down and it doesn’t take us long to realize what’s happening, I try to fly through the trap door but it’s bolted shut and no amount of hurling myself against it was doing anything. So the cords give out and we start free falling when all of a sudden we’re surrounded by a white crackling light and then I’m lying face first in a trench with people yelling all around me to barricade something I don’t know I was still trying to figure out what just happened. So after I managed to stand up I grabbed Celestia Luna and Cipyar and dragged them all into a side room.
“Alright before we go any further you’re going to explain everything, because I’m really lost right now.”
Celestia nodded and said.
“Okay, from what I’ve been able to pick up you were kidnapped because Discord is bringing chaotic events from your world into ours to help him spread chaos, but he hasn’t perfected his system yet which is why you appeared in a huge explosion, he has been impersonating me for the better half of a year now enforcing his will on Equestria so he can spread his chaos to the rest of the world.”
“Okay but that doesn’t explain why I blacked out in Twilight’s library.”
“I think he’s also put Twilight and her friends under some sort of mind control spell, they must be under orders to capture anyone Discord brings here by accident. She probably just used a sleep spell on you. And I’m sure you already know about how the trial was rigged and that he created a secret prison on the moon to hold everyone that he brings here by accident or anyone that starts questioning him.”
“I guess that kinda makes sense, so where do we go from here?”
“Uh I don’t mean to interrupt your explanation but we need to get control of that teleport room before Discord gets an army up here.”
