Rainbow Dash walked down the dirt road.  Her hooves dragged in the dirt as tears rolled down her face.  She was walking toward the small sliver of sunset that bit into the airy blackness  of the up-coming night.  

As Everlast was on his daily walk, he spotted the sad pony. He asked, "Rainbow? Whats wrong?"

Rainbow Dash kept walking, ignoring the concerned pony.  She was to in the deph of the bottomless pool of sadness.  She looked to her house as she flapped her wings ready to take off.  There was a slight un-steadyness easilly visable in the flapping of her left wing.  Rainbow Dash's hooves barely left the ground before falling back to the ground.

Everlast rushed quickly to the blue pony, trying to stop her in her tracks. "Are you.. hurt? What happened?"

Rainbow Dash looked up to Everlast.  She hid her left wing immediately and forced a smile.  "N-No... I'm not...)  She lied immediately looking away to break eye contact.

"Rainbow, im a GREAT listener. IF you have any problems, then feel free to speak. Dont be afraid, i know that strong pony behind that beautiful face of yours. And.. whats.. wrong with your left wing?"

"Dont even say its okay. I saw you hide it..."

Rainbow Dash frowned.  "You noticed eh?"  She said as she rose it.  The entire under side was soaked with blood.  She had a massive hole right by the wing joint.  "It's nothing too serious."  She said tucking it away right after he saw it.

"Nothing too serious? Rainbow! You are HURT! You need help right away.And dont try to fly away, that will just make everything twice as worse. You need to stop moving it around and save your energy. Come on now Rainbow, we need to get back to Ponyville."

"And,"

"First off, tell me, how did this happen?" said Everlast, deeply concerned.

"Who did this? What did this? Be truthful now Rainbow!"

Rainbow Dash frowned.  She looked to Everlast.  "I was walking through the everfree forest...  I wanted some tea from Zeccora, but then something wizzed by me and stabbed my twice.  Once on my wing, and the other on my chest... but I ran away..."  She said as she hid her face.

Everlast was surprised. He hadn't heard of this before...

"Rainbow, you are losing an AWFUL lot of blood. Please... Allow me to help you back to ponyville. I couldnt stand losing another friend..." Everlast said, tears building up.

Rainbow Dash looked up tears in her own eyes.  She nodded as he asked to take her into town.  

As Everlast helped the pony start walking, he said "Rainbow, Dont you ever dare hide your face again. Show your face with pride. You are a brave pony. Dont ever think you arent."

*crack*

"Huh? What was that?" Everlast said, after hearing a twig breaking.

Rainbow Dash hid freightened.  "It's the thing!  It's he-  AHHHHH"  She screamed with agonny as annother wound appeared on her back, this one was like the last but deep and narrow.  Blood rushed freely from the wound.

"DASHIE!!!! NOO!! COME ON WE HAVE TO GO!!!" Everlast SCREAMED as he put Rainbow Dash on his back and ran FULL SPEED to ponyville. "Stay with me rainbow, Dont leave me now... You are okay. Talk back PLEASE!"

Rainbow Dash was panting.  "It's fine..."  She said trying to remain awake.  "Just hurry."  She said as her head sagged with the effort it took to hold up.

"You're going to be okay, dash. We are almost there. Keep talking, but try not to move so much. you need you're energy. SOMEPONY! ANYPONY OUT THERE!?"

*boing*

"Somepony is out there...

Who jumps like that?"

"Pin... pink.. PINKIE PIE!?"

"Pinkie......Pie..."  Rainbow said eyes closing falling out of consciousness body falling limp and pale.

"NO. DONT YOU DARE SLEEP RIGHT NOW. Dash, You're sleeping right? OH SHIIII-" Everlast yelled.

"DASHIE!?!?!?" pinkie pie yelled.

"EVERLAST WHAT HAPPENED?"

"No time to explain pinkie, GET HELP NOW. Dash's life is at STAKE."

"Anypony around you pinkie!?"

Pinkie Pie sprinted full speed toward the hospital and in a matter of seconds, returned with some Medics.  They didn't have time to run her back to the hospital, they had to be field medics.

Everlast ran Over his max speed losing his breath fast, but he knew for a fact he would never give up on a friend. Approaching Ponyville, everlast shouted "HELP! WE NEED MEDICS!" "Dash, you still with me?" everlast panicked, feeling a faint heart beat from Rainbow Dash's heart.

Rainbow Dash gave no reply.  But her slow breathing and faint heartbeat told him enough.  Soon, three field medics came up all holding first aid kits.

Everypony, including twlight and rarity, and the other ponies gathered around Rainbow Dash.

The medics yelled,

"Get out of the way! We need space! Everlast, pinkie, Get to the hosiptal NOW!" the three medics said as they rushed to the hospital with the incapacitated Rainbow Dash, trying their best to keep her alive.

Rainbow Dash woke up deafened from shock.  She looked around with blurred vision as the field medics stared at her wounds with awe.  They have never seen anything like this before and there was little they could do.  "I don't know..."  Said one of the medics pulling back his blood covered hooves.  "I've never seen this much dammage done!"  

Everlast, nearby, was crying so hard that he could barely walk. He tried the best he could, but all of this stress and sadness made him collapse.

He knew there was nothing he could do.

Rainbow Dash's eyes slowly drooped.  The world around her seemed to twirl into a tube.  "Keep pressure on that wound!"  She heard one of thee medics say before she slipped out of consciousness.

Pinkie yelled, "TWILIGHT! DO A SPELL THINGY-MA-BOBBER TO WAKE UP EVERLAST"

She did as she was told.

The spell worked.

Everlast woke up. He had a faint thought of what to do.

"Twilight,

For the love of celestia, PLEASE tell me that you have a spell to reduce the amount of blood pouring out of her!!!!"

Everlast screamed.

Twilight looked down consentrating.  She sadly shook her head.  "I'm afraid theres nothing.  We are plugging the wounds by wrapping them with rags.  She's fine now, but unconscious.  

Everlast looked up in the air with a mind, FULL of rage. "Dash. I will do whatever it takes, to get my friend back..." his sentence interrupted by a splash of tears... "ANYTHING...."

"Rainbow... you are in my thoughts. You may not be able to hear me... but im doing everything i can."

Rainbow Dash once again woke up, but this time everything was clear.  She raised her head looking at Everlast.  "E-Everlast."  She said in a strange voice unlike her own.

"R-Rainbow???? wh..wha...What do you need? Anything? What is it?"

Rainbow Dash smiled.  "I just want you to be here for me."  She said petting his face with her hoof.

"Im here.. Dont give up rainbow..." Everlast said, nudging Rainbow's face with his nose.

"Whatever you need, ill be here for you."

Rainbow Dash smiled as her eyes closed breathing normally.  Her breathing leveled out to slow, before it stopped.  A smile stayed on Dashie's face still in a peacfull pose.  The field medics stopped and looked down with guilt.

Everlast panicked alot...

"No. Rainbow..

Dont go!

Not yet!

Not even yet! JUST DONT GO!"

"Medics? What in the name of Celestia are you doing?!"

"Dont give up!"

"Ill pay WHATEVER you need!

JUST DONT STOP."

"Bring her back NOW!"

Rainbow Dash's lifeless body remained still.   Her hooves layed out by her side.

The medics were trying everything.

Bringing her back,

but then her dying once more.

Over and over again...

The field medics looked up.  "We can't do anything... She's gone."  One said taking off his hat in respect.

Everlast had tears pouring down his face...

"Can... can i have atleast some time alone...?

The medics all agreed as they walked away leaving Everlast alone with the cold shell of Rainbow Dash's once full of adventure and hungering Danger.  But now empty lacking movement.

"Rainbow...

i know you cant hear me...

but,

ive been wanting to get this off of my hooves...

i love you." Everlast admitted, tears pouring down like a water fountain.

"This might sound cheesy.. but my life will be darker than the cloudy days here without you..."

Everlast gave rainbow dash one last kiss on the cheek.

"Bye... dashie..." everlast said as he left the door.

A tear from Everlast hit Rainbow Dash's eyelid.  Her eye flickered, then sprung open with life once again.  She gasped for air as her wounds magically closed themselves.   The medics stood observing the scene in awe.

The medics shouted, "Shes alive!"

Everlast bursted through the door, happily watching Dashie come back to life.

"I love you too... everlast..." Rainbow said as she was resting.

The medics said "Everlast, i know Dash means a lot to you, but you are going to have to leave so we can make sure that she is in good condition."

Everlast replied, "No problem. Thank you medics for helping her."

Everlast was jumping higher than Pinkie Pie when he was outside.

Everypony gave him a great big hug.
