The world sleeps beneath an endless blanket. One thousand years have passed since a catastrophe brought the entire world to its knees: the long reign of the malicious god Nathusha. His slaughter of the population and regicide of the diarchy left Equestria powerless, and so it was that the world was drowned, the once proud cities slipping beneath thick black waves, slumbering peacefully as the water slowly cast them down.

The Equestrian Remnant is assembling a crew of its finest military personnel, most qualified navy sailors and even the scum of the pirate world; united under a banner of hope. They sent forth a ship that demands beauty and respect from all who gaze upon her design, one with fire-power to rival that of a god - and one which under all circumstances, must make it to Edge Island. What none of the crew realize, however, is that ponies were never meant to become gods, and that there is a reason that Edge Island remains uncharted.

Whatever happens upon the desolate and cold seas of Trinity, the sands of time will see all; and eventually, everything dies.
