Twenty three years into the future, Princess Twilight Sparkle is happily married to Royal Guard Flash Sentry. She has grown into a beautiful mare and a parent of a very beautiful daughter. Her name was StarBloom Sparkle. Ironically she gained her mother’s habit of constant reading. She normally dressed in a bright purple gown, white bangles around her wrists, and a white tiara with red rubies. StarBloom had a cousin named Princess Skyla, who would visit her from the Crystal Empire making her the daughter of Shining Armor and Princess Cadence. She normally wore a hot pink gown, sky blue bangles around her wrists, and a gold tiara with Sapphires. Skyla is 19 and StarBloom is currently 17. They may be cousins, but they act more like close sisters.

Princesses Twilight, Celestia, Luna, and Cadence are all planning to attend an ambassador meeting with the leader of neighboring countries for a new invention the Professor created and for a new discovery he has uncovered.

“Mother, Father! When is this meeting taking place?” asked StarBloom excitedly.

"In five hours StarBloom. Your cousin is also coming today." Twilight stated.

"Great! Oh it's been so long. We have a lot to catch up on."

"Alright just get your friends ready."

-Elsewhere-

“Skyla! We have to hurry; you're going to be late”

“I know mom, I can't wait to see my cousin again. By the way, how's daddy doing”

“He’s doing just fine honey. Still training new recruits as usual."

“Okay, Bye mom” said the young princess as she was about to leave.

“Skyla!” shouted Cadence to halt her daughter.

“Yes mom?"

“Keep in mind that Prince BlueBlood will be going with you to Canterlot."

“Awww Mom! But I don't like him, he's too crabby.” groaned Skyla leaving with silent obedience.

"She’s growing up so fast, but sometimes I wish she wasn't so laid back” thought Cadence.

Twilight's friends have also had a change in life. Rainbow Dash is now a fully fledged member of the Wonderbolts. She finally got the nerve to talk to her long time crush and soon after, Soarin and Rainbow Dash were married. Later, Dash became pregnant, which she hated because she couldn't fly for a while, but after she gave birth to Whirlwind, she was back on the Wonderbolt team.

FlutterShy married ThunderLane and currently owns an animal shelter. ThunderLane actually had a slight crush on Fluttershy when they first met at flight school; he also liked little animals which was a huge help for him in getting with her. They are currently raising their daughter Autumn Breeze. Applejack and her family are still working on the farm as they always do, but one night Applejack found a basket that had a baby foal inside. There was no note in the basket but she couldn't just leave it out there. So she decided to raise her as her own and even gave her a name. AppleCore is helping her mother right now on the farm.

Next we have Rarity. Her fashions have grown more popular over the years, due to her being friends with Twilight and all. You know, being friends with the Princess. Her husband Spike is now a full grown gentle drake. They are raising two Kirin daughters, AmberStone and Lavender. Pinkie Pie marries a stallion named Hot Buns. They met in SugarCube Corner and Hot Buns grew attached to her happy cherry…Pinkie Self. They later got married and had a foal named Cherry Pie.

Even The CMC's lives have changed the moment they got their cutie marks. AppleBloom is currently an architect; there is nothing she can't repair. She even started a program at her old school to help next generation fillies and colts get their cutie marks. Sweetie Belle is currently with Octavia's music group; she has become a sensational singer. Scootaloo can no longer be called chicken as she is now able to fly thanks to Rainbow Dash; she is even a member of the Wonderbolts.

-Sweet Apple Acres-

“AppleCore? AppleCore!? Where the hay is that little rascal?” said Applejack looking for her daughter.

AppleCore, hiding behind a tree, jumps out at Applejack. “Boo!”

"Uuaagh, AppleCore!” shrieked Applejack.

“Hahaha, sorry Mom. Ah’m just really glad to be able to attend this here meetin' in Canterlot.”

“Yes it’s mighty nice of you. Hmmm, it’s been awhile since Ah’ve gotten to see Twilight. It’ll be nice to see her again.” said Applejack.

“Ah still can’t believe she lives there, and you and yer other friends are friends with her”

“Alright now, Ah get it. Just go get ready to help Big Mac with the load to Canterlot."

“Okay Mamma."

Applejack blushed. “Ah keep tellin y’all not to call me mamma!"

AppleCore remembered she was supposed to meet her friends today in Canterlot. “Sorry. Ah've got to go see mah friends." she said as she sped down the road before Applejack could remind her of helping her uncle.

-The Carousel Boutique-

“AmberStone are you almost done, you’re going to be late, darling!" shouted Rarity towards the upstairs section of her home as she was working on some dresses.

“I’m ready mom. I’ll see you and dad when I get back; and I will make sure to pick up Lavender from school.” said AmberStone as she came down the stairs and straight out the door with a light nod goodbye before leaving.

Rarity waved goodbye and gave a sigh as the door closed. “I have to hurry and get these dresses ready for this meeting. Where’s my Spikey Wikey when I need him?"

-SugarCube Corner-

“Cherry Berry, the Cakes and I are going to do some catering for Canterlot, so when you get back can you watch the shop for a few hours?” said Pinkie dashing through the store getting some final materials.

“Okie Dokie Lokie Mommy. I’ll see you and the Cakes later gators!" said Cherry Pie.

-Cloudsdale-

“Man, you guys never learn do you? No pony besides my mom is faster than me. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to catch up with my friends."

Whirlwind proved herself to be an outstanding athlete like her mother. She even tied with Rainbow Dash once. Three stallions tried to outrace her like nine times and failed every time.

-Fluttershy’s cottage-

“Autumn, you’re going to be late dear."

“I know mom. I’ll be with my friends and let them know the good news." said Autumn Breeze.

“Okay, but please be careful and watch out for danger, and strangers, and...”

“MOM!!”

“Right, sorry have fun dear."

The girls all traveled out to have fun with their friends. They even managed to meet each other halfway and made their way to the Ponyville train station together. When they arrived they got on and made the best of the trip to Canterlot by catching up with each other.

“How’s everypony been doin'?" asked AppleCore.

“Doing just absolutely, great AC!" cheered Cherry Pie as she pulled everyone in for another big hug. After catching their breath, the others told each other what’s been going on.

“My parents are performing after this meeting later today. They already have a few new moves that they want to try out with the other Wonderbolts." said Whirlwind proudly.

“Well, um, my mother’s animal shelter is working out okay." said Autumn Breeze.

“My mother’s Boutique has a brand new fashion line that she’ll be displaying in Canterlot. Some that even the Princesses might like!" said AmberStone with confidence in her mother’s work.

“My mom and AC’s mom are doing catering there!" said Cherry.

The conversation went on like this for the rest of the trip. The topic did change to other stuff like boys, clothes, and all the girl talk stuff. They soon arrived at the entrance of Canterlot and stood at the station, waiting for their remaining friends.

“Look! Over there!” said Cherry.

The girls looked in the direction Cherry pointed to. They saw two royal carriages approach Canterlot. The five friends automatically knew who was in those carriages. As the carriages stopped, they saw a few guards and three figures step out. It was Princess Skyla, Princess StarBloom, and Prince BlueBlood. Skyla happened to spot them and she and StarBloom went over to them. Prince BlueBlood wasn't too happy to see their friends; and that’s because AmberStone is a cross breed between a unicorn and a dragon, something detestable to him.

“I shall go on ahead. You can catch up with your friends." said Blueblood. What I don't understand is why you are still friends with that half-breed freak. he thought.

This was something he truly hated; even if they were friends with his nieces. But hey, it just goes to show you that he still hasn't changed since the Gala Incident.

“I see that your uncle is still a pain in the flank.” scoffed Whirlwind, giving Blueblood a mean look.

“Ah swear, he gets even crabbier by the minute.” said AppleCore.

“WH-what did we ever do to him?” said Autumn Breeze, not wanting to get too loud.

“It's not easy for Skyla and me either girls, but we have to put up with it.” said StarBloom.

“Still, they are right. He hasn’t once opened up to our friends.” said Skyla.

“Well I wish he would, he’s a prince but he’s so un-gentlecolt like. I’m so glad mom got over him.” said AmberStone.

The girls busted out laughing, remembering the tale Rarity told them of the Gala.

They arrived at the Canterlot Council Hall where the meeting was taking place. Apparently the Professor and Doctor Whooves were working on a new dimensional portal allowing them to travel to different dimensions. Nearly everypony from around the world showed up, even the Ambassadors fro Zebrica to Ariel Skies. Surprisingly Discord showed up as well, as long as he didn't cause any problems for anypony, he was okay to stay. Celestia kept a close eye on him to make sure he kept good on that promise. As she was though, the intercom started forth.

"Fillies and Gentlecolts: we are gather here today to unveil our newest creation." said the Professor over the Microphone.

"Without further ado, Doctor Whooves and I present to you the Dimensional Gateway!" The crowd was in aw as the curtain revealed a large circle with a telepad at the bottom holding it in place. Next was a prompter with a HUD display on the right.

"That's the Dimensional Gateway?" Skyla asked.

"It appears so." Celestia stated with a motherly tone.

"Who do y'all think they gonna test that there thing on?" asked AppleCore.

"Are assistant has volunteered to travel in the gateway to see this world. Derpy if you would please." Doctor Whooves directed Derpy towards the gateway with a protective suit. But as he and the Professor activated the machine, the gateway started to sputter and spark. Then the gateway ripped open a fabric in the universe. The ponies in the room started panicking when things started to go crazy.

"What's happening?" StarBloom asked in a panic.

"How should I know?" Whirlwind shouted. The group was wondering why it was going haywire and they automatically blamed Discord.

"I shoulda known you try a stunt like this." said Celestia with a little venom in her voice.

"I hate to break it to you Celestia, but for once this isn't my doing. I was just out grabbing a few snacks." said Discord. At first the girls didn't believe him until AppleJack gave his a strong look.

"He's tellin, the truth." said AppleJack.

"Well if this isn't from Discord then what is acting up with their invention?"

"We don't know what is happening, and I can't shut it down." said the Professor who ducked from an energy wave that came from the gateway.

"We are sure about what is happening but the energy it's releasing is unlike anything we've ever seen before." Doctor Whooves stated.

"But we do know that whatever is causing this isn't from Equestria, but from the other side of the gateway."

"What could possibly be happening on the other side to mess with my palace?" that was when the gateway sputtered and exploded leaving nothing but smoke clouding everyone's visions. The smoke then died down to reveal seven creatures that were not equine.

"What in the name of Celestia are those?" Blueblood shouted. That was when everypony looked at where the Gateway was and layed their eyes on the creatures. Five of them were hedgehogs, one a red-orange echidna, and the last one was a teal fox.

"They must have been what caused this. Auntie I will have their heads for this. they ruined the presentation."
