Antasma's Reincarnation

The bat king Antasma has returned from the grave, Albeit not in the marioverse this time. He still wishes to conquer the new world he ends up in.
(This story takes place AFTER the events of mario and luigi dream team.)
When villains usually die in mario and luigi games, They end up in hell or someplace as worse.
Even though he had his ass royally kicked by Mario and Luigi, Antasma has returned from the grave for vengeance.
The one problem though is, He is no longer in Mario's universe, But in the My Little Ponyverse instead.
Regardless of his surroundings, Antasma still seeks out to conquer Equestria, I wonder how this will turn out?
Prologue: A Second Chance
Nothing but darkness is where we begin.
Antasma was unconscious and floating in the dark, With one reoccuring nightmare haunting him, "Defeated, Me, By the hands of those.... PLUMBERS!!!!!!!"
"Mario, Luigi, And you too, Dreambert! I'm gonna get out of vis place and send you to hell where you belong!!!!" He said in his trademark warped-voice Transylvanian accent.
"You cannot go back." Said a deep voice that even gave Antasma chills.
"Who-Who's vere?" He said with signs of worry on his face.
"Mario and Luigi have clearly sealed you off from their world, But you have another chance in mine." Said the voice once more.
"Vere are you going with vis?" He asked back.
"I reside in Equestria, The land of talking mythical horses, And you would make a perfect ally." The voice revealed himself as a black unicorn with a red tinted horn.
"OH NO! I don't vork with allies, Not after last time." Antasma said bringing up the memory of Bowser betraying him all those years ago.
"Very well then, But you must know one thing first." The unicorn said to him. "I am King Sombra, The Lord Of All Fears, And i know what you are, Antasma The Bat King."
"How do you know me?" He said back in shock.
"I watch more than just Equestria, I watch other worlds as well, I know you were defeated by a Pi'llo and 2 plumbers." King Sombra said to him.
"Mario, Luigi, And Dreambert." He said to Sombra with a hint of fury running down his spine and out his tail.
"And if you try to rival me, So help me Celestia, I will make sure you don't get a 3rd chance!" Sombra fumed at him.
"And just vat do you think you can do?" He said as if to challenge the unicorn's power.
"I create perfect copies of fear and use it against my opponents" Sombra said.
"Big voop, I manifest on nightmares, Which in turn make me all powerful!" Antasma said back as a snappy retort.
"Beaten by a heart!"
"Beaten by plumbers!"
The argument went on for quite some time, until Sombra gave up and transported Antasma to the Everfree Forest, Where his new conquest would begin.
"Remember, You'll be seeing nothing but ponies in this world, That and a few other animals that aren't related to equines in any physical way." Sombra warned him.
But all Antasma did was grin, He knew it was a relief from fighting humanoid creatures and humans, "Vere's a princess ruling vis land is vere not?"
"Yes, Princess Celestia and her sister, Luna, They both control all of Equestria, And like the saying says: Cut off the head, And the body will die!" Sombra informed him.
"Excellent, New world, Check, New powers, Check, New princess to capture and or kill, Check, I'd say i'm ready to rule all of vis vorld with an iron fist!" Antasma finished laughing.

By the way, It's sad that Antasma wasn't the final boss on dream team, He had so much potential to bring about the end of the world, But Bowser had to steal the spotlight and make it another Shit Bowser final boss.
Just so we're clear on that
Chapter 1: The Siege
Antasma was noticing something surreal about his new world, The fact that ponies were able to create civilization was completely beyond him, But it all seemed like it was going to be worth conquering in the end.
"Vis is certainly a lot different than i excepted it would be." He said noticing the ponies also had their own currencies, Businesses, And even some weird talents no one in the marioverse had ever seen before.
"Regardless of it all, I'm still gonna conquer vis pitiful land and use it as a base of operations!" He said materializing a ring of spheres around him. (If you've played mario and luigi dream team, You know what he's just pulled out.)
The 1st thing he'd need to do is cause a ruckus, That way everypony would notice him as a threat, After all, What fun is there in being evil without any challenge?
He pulled out an enormous rainbow coloured ball of lightning and shot it at Town Hall, The resulting impact caused a deafening explosion that everypony would noticed right off the bat, As they ran over to the smoking wreckage of their former citadel, Antasma was ready to shoot another ball at his new captive audience of equines.
"Perfect, Everyone's horrified at my appearance, Now ve fun can begin!" He said pulling out a sword (Compliments of Sombra by the way) and started to slash the ponies with his new fully dark-power-integrated sword of fear.
This caused the ponies to start running in fear, Fear which Antasma fed on to give himself a power upgrade, He was now warping in front of the Ponyville ponies, Putting them to sleep, To which he could open up a dream portal into the sleeping ponies' minds and project their true fears endlessly.
At a local library, A purple alicorn known as Twilight Sparkle was waiting, Waiting for a new shipment of books to arrive from the Crystal Empire, When suddenly a thunderous knocking came from the door.
"Wow, They must really like me." She said thinking the books had arrived a few days earlier than usual, It wasn't her books but a pink haired earth pony instead.
"TWILIGHT!!!! Scaryblackmonstervampireputtingponiestosleepsohecandraintheirlifeforcehe'scomingformeandtheothers PLEASE HELP!!!!!" Said the pink pony in a fast high pitched scared insanely fast tone of voice.
"Pinkie Pie, Calm down! You know what that new Hyper-Sugar-Rush-Supreme you made last week can do to you." Twilight said to the pink pony, "OK one more time, But this time a little bit slower."
But before Pinkie could say anything, Antasma put her to sleep and hopped into her dream portal.
"What the hay?" Twilight said leaping into the portal.
When she landed on solid ground again, She was in Ponyville once more, Although it looked a little more 2D than usual.
"Where am I?" Was the first question she said, The second was, "And why is everything made out of sweets?"
Had she brought Spike along, He wouldn't leave this new Ponyville, EVER, But luckily for her, Spike was away on royal Canterlot business.
Suddenly she saw a large humanoid creature with 2 extraordinarily slender arms and no legs, with a cape that covered almost all of his body, His head was bald and pointy and his neckpiece was laden with black spikes all over it, He was of course Antasma, But Twilight didn't know this yet.
"So vis little pink fluffball loves her candy? Vat's all i need to hear!" Antasma said Powering up his dark magic once more, Once cast, It turned into a sugar massacre, With frosting all over the place, And the candy Ponyville reduced to ruins.
To this notion, Pinkie Pie screamed at the truly horrifying sight, Her vision of Ponyville was crumbling and molding around her own eyes.
"YESSSS! It feels good to be back! EAT IT MARIO!!!!!" Antasma said relishing in his newfound powers as Pinkie's dream suddenly turned into a nightmare.
"Okay, I have no clue as to what's going on, But i know what must be done!" Said Twilight now shooting magic at Antasma, Which in turn drew all of his attention to the purple mare.
"Who in the vorld are you, Shooting at royalty?!" Antasma asked the purple alicorn with dark magic in hand.
"Royalty? You don't look very princely or kingly to me, And my name is Twilight Sparkle." She said to the enraged bat king.
"Tvilight eh? Vorks for me, NOW DIE!!!" He said shooting black spheres of lightning at her, All of which sent her flying.
"Ok you're strong i'll give you that, But my name is not Tvilight, it's TWI-light, What are you? Transylvaneighan?" She asked after recovering from the impact.
"Vatever you prefer, My little slave, But nonveless you are MINE!" He said charging at Twilight with claws outstretched and ready to scratch her.
When he got close to her, Twilight teleported to a candy cane lamppost and shot more dark magic at him, This enraged Antasma, Causing him to turn into hundreds upon thousands of little vampire bats with his same face, All of which darted at and around Twilight causing her to fall into a sugar cart below, When she got up the combat began again, With dark and alicorn magic being flung from the pony and the flying vampire, This went on for a good 30 minutes, Until Twilight shot Antasma with a new meteor spell which she had practiced, Causing him to crash into the ground and explode in a veil of eerie purple-pinkish mist.
"Meh, I've been through vorse, Vere are still hundreds of other ponies to enslave in vis backvater town you call home, And like a vampire, I shall bid you farevell!" He said as the fog departed the dream world through the exact same portal Twilight had entered.
"Oh no, He's not getting away from me!" She said charging back into real-world Ponyville through the portal, But by the time she got back, Ponyville had took a massive turn for the worse.
Houses lay in ruins, Ponies were now Antasma's mindless zombies, And Town Hall had been turned into a massive spiky castle that flew in the sky (It's Antasma's favorite castle style after all.)
"Who.... In Equestria..... IS THIS GUY?!?!?!" She said noticing the new flying castle the moment she got out of the dream world.
In the throne room, Antasma was being served on hoof and hoof with food drinks and special treatments, "Look at vat little vinged unicorn, Vinking she can stop me, How pavetic, Now ve overthrow ve princess!" He said in his transylvanian accent shooting dark fireballs at Canterlot Castle causing it to fall from the mountains, And crash land next to Ponyville.
"No, Princess! WHAT HAS HE DONE TO OR IS GOING TO DO TO YOU?!" Twilight said grimacing at the wrecked castle.

Chapter 2: The Fall Of Celestia
At the ruins of Canterlot Castle, Celestia (who looked like she had been through hell) crawled out of the wreckage with scars all over her face, And her horn had been completely and utterly destroyed.
"Princess!" Twilight said as she galloped towards her, As she got within touching distance of the princess however, Antasma cast a forcefield around her, Knocking Twilight onto her stomach.
"Hands off my prize!" He said to the bruised alicorn, Who was poking her head out of the dirt.
"How did you do that?" She asked him with a concerned yet angry tone of voice.
"I did wish for A LOT of other things before Mario and Luigi crashed ve party." Antasma explained to her.
"This can't be." Twilight said as she finally realized Antasma's origin, "You're supposed to be dead!"
"Dead, Me, HA! How illogical vat must sound coming from you, Tvilight." He said back to her with a sinister look on his face, "Let's just say vat somepony of yours gave me a helping hoof if you know vat i mean."
"Sombra?!" Twilight said as he materialized behind Antasma with an infuriated look on his face.
"I warned you not to rival my power! And you decided to disobey me!" The unicorn said before charging at the bat king with horn ablaze and black mist carrying him.
"Oh come on! Ve plumbers did vorse van vat!" Antasma said performing his thousand bat himself swarm, Dodging Sombra's attacks and countering with his mine rings, After a good hour of combat, Twilight got the idea to get Celestia to safety, No sooner had she thought of the brilliant plan when Antasma and Sombra sealed the princesses from each other with a forcefield spell.
After knocking Sombra back, Antasma said, "I said HANDS OFF!!!!!"
"You foolish bat, Thinking you are the dominant fear in this world, Pathetic, I showed Twilight here what hell is like."
"Vell, I used some archaic bass speakers called "The Dreambeats" To put everyone on Pi'llo Island to sleep, Just so I could drain veir life force and steal veir wallets."
"Ooh that's a good comback, But it still won't help you! I am Equestrian fear! And you are just a misplaced vampire king."
"Oh yeah? Vell vis vampire king is taking ve princess and running!" Antasma said before swooping down to grab Celestia and take her back to his castle.
"Don't run from me, Antasma! I KNOW YOUR WEAKNESSES AND I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVED!" Sombra yelled before Antasma dissapeared from his and Twilight's vision.
"No, He's gone, And he's taken Celestia with him." Twilight grieved and grimaced over the loss of her ruler/teacher.
"Twilight, I know we're enemies, But we have to work together on this, Antasma has clearly rivaled my powers, And he must be taught a lesson he'll never forget!" Sombra said as if to form a temporary alliance with her.
"No, I'm saving Celestia, BY MYSELF!" She said thinking back to what Sombra did upon his return to the Crystal Empire.
"Very well, But don't come crying to me when he's too powerful for you to handle." Sombra said before dissapearing into a black portal.
"He needs to pay, And Celestia knows i'm the only one to deliver equine justice." She said as she looked at her friends, Who were all asleep with dream portals above their heads, "ANTASMA THE BAT KING! I'M COMING FOR YOU, AND WHEN I GET THERE, I'M SENDING YOU BACK TO YOUR 3DS!!!!"

Chapter 3: The Extermination Of Ponykind
In the throne room of the flying castle, Antasma chained up Celestia in a cage hanging far above his throne, As if to frighten all the light and hope out of her.
"Enjoying ve view from up vere princess?" He said with a sly grin on his face and a sword in his hand.
"This is absolute torture, I don't want to come out though, Twilight and Sombra will probably fight each other to death over me." She said with a defeated and hopeless tone in her voice.
"Vight each other to death eh? Vat's the perfect plan i need to rule vis pitiful vorld!" He said with a new plan at the ready, "Before the Dream Stone vas stolen by Bowser, I asked for unlimited vishes, Vith or vithout the stone." He explained as a digital map of Equestria came up in front of them, "So now you vill vatch as the ponies you know and love vight each other to pure extinction!"
Antasma had a rainbow/dark aura glowing around him, And he said, "I vish vese ponies would start and never stop vighting each other to death!"
As he proclaimed his spell, Antasma shot rainbow/dark lightning from said aura, And a bunch of TV screens appeared in front of the digital map showing the towns that the spell was going to strike, As the TV's were materializing, The peak of the castle got even higher and a metallic pillar with rainbow/dark energy was pulsating its' energy across all of Equestria.
As the shockwaves of the energy hit the ponies, They started arguing about the smallest details, Stuff like "That's not my favorite food, This is!" or "I wanna go here!" And sometimes "You don't have the guts to brave your fears!" After these arguments escalated, Ponykind turned into a bloodbath, Knives swords spears and all kinds of sharp weapons were being used by ponies of all ages against other ponies.
All Antasma did was laugh and wish up some popcorn and a cinema style chair as he watched the carnage continue and the corpses start to pile up, "Vonderful, Just vonderful! I do vish some of ve other M&L villains were alive to see this!" He said it without the aura so it was clear he didn't want to bring back the others, After all they may rival him in the end and take his power.
"You're insane, Antasma, You know Twilight is coming to kick your ass!"
"Tvilight you say? I vouldn't vorry about vat little equine of yours, I almost forgot about her, Vank you for reminding me." He finished up before casting another wish, The metal pillar moved from the top of the castle to the bottom now, Releasing another shockwave of now completely dark energy, Only this shockwave when impacted, Turned the fighting ponies into stone statues, Unable to move or talk, They just laid there, Completely powerless.
"Now nothing vill be able to stop my reign, Ponykind is extinct, And now Antasmakind vill rule!, MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" He said laughing like a transylvanian vampire maniac.

Chapter 4: Upon The Darkness, A Light Shines
"What's going on?" Was the first thing Twilight said when she saw the ponies in Ponyville again, They were all fighting and/or arguing over the smallest most inconsiderate details.
"Those aren't your muffins, You idiotic pegasus!" Rainbow Dash said as she was pursuing a grey coated pegasus with derping eyes.
"Buck off, Dashie, I found them fair and square!" She said back to Rainbow Dash
"OK THAT'S IT, YOU'RE GONNA GET IT THIS TIME, DERPY!!!!!" Rainbow Dash said as a fight cloud popped up and consumed the two brawling pegasi.
"This must be the effects that dark shockwave that Antasma made eariler, He's giving everypony in Equestria a short fuse attitude." Twilight said as the fight intensified with Derpy and Rainbow Dash slamming each other into the nearby mountains, Causing them to collapse and anger even more ponies, It was a chain reaction cocktail of fighting and carnage, And it only got worse from there.
"At least they aren't killing anypony yet."
"WHO WANTS CUPCAKES?!?!?!" Pinkamena said brandishing a chainsaw and machine gun, Brutally murdering everypony in sight.
"NO, NO, NOOOO!!!!!! Why is this happening?!" Twilight cried as she saw the corpses pile up.
"He's clearly gone too far this time, Twilight." Sombra said as he materialized out of thin air once more, "Antasma must be destroyed, And god knows only you and i can do it."
"Fat chance, I'm a lone wolf in these kinds of missions!"
"Twilight, If you go in there guns blazing, Antasma is going to turn you and all of ponykind into a bloodbath, You need my help and i'm not taking no for an answer." Sombra said in a neutral tone of voice.
"How can i trust you?"
"Twilight, Just look at me, I'm on my knees here, He's not this world's fearmonger, I AM!!!!! ME!!!!! I DESERVE THAT PLACE IN THE HIERARCHY!!! NOT HIM!!!!!!" He said as he started crying at her feet.
"OK, Sombra, How can i say no to someone who's crying their eyes out?"
"Thank you, Twilight, I see why you were certified princessdom, You've got heart, Soul, And undying confidence, And together, I just know we'll be able to vanquish Antasma, And send him back to the hellish prison where he came from"
"How do we start then?" Twilight asked her new companion.
"The Crystal Heart has the power to overpower and cancel Antasma's hate spell, If it has enough power, It will also be able to bring back all the dead ponies." Sombra said to her with confidence
"Looks like we're going to the Crystal Empire then." She said as they both used their Teleportation Spells and vanished before the viewer's eye.
Meanwhile in the castle......
"KYAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, Fools, Vey vink vey can overpower my dark magics? I von't allow vem to, Sharagan!!!!" Antasma said as a humanoid warrior appeared in front of his throne.
"Yes, Lord Antasma?" He said, His armour was black and spiky, And his sword was a black hole combined with a supernova and solidified to make a sword-like point.
"Vose ponies are heading to ve Crystal Empire, Vind vem, And destroy vem on sight!"
"As you wish, Lord Antasma." He said before vanishing into a black portal.
"Oh and one more ving bevore you go, Take ve 3rd vleet vith you."
"Very well, Champion Antasma."
"Lets see how you vill dance, Horsies! KYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!"

Chapter 5: Flight Of The Flagships
Upon landing in the Crystal Empire, Sombra and Twilight notice some black specks in the distance.
"Why are the pegasi moving their storm to today?" Twilight asked as the specks grew larger and larger.
"Uh... I don't think those are storm clouds." Sombra said as the specks grew into what looked like a fleet of flying battleships, all tipped with spikes and guns. Ready to end the empire with one thunderous volley of firepower. There were 50-100 ships in the air, all of which enormous, and almost encompassing the entire sky. On the biggest ship's battering tip, a human was standing on the very point, magnificently keeping his balance, he was 6ft tall, white, and had big purple wings growing out of the shoulder blades on his back.
"Lifeforms of this so-called Crystal Empire." The human started to speak through a magical vortex which amplified his voice, "My name is Dark Lord Sharagan. Swordschampion 4th class of Lord Antasma's army, Sexiest male villain winner 3 times running, and your utter demise. I have come to this place for one reason and one reason only, to destroy the princess of magic and the king of shadows! Hand them over within 30 minutes, or my fleet will blow your empire to pieces!"
Twilight and Sombra looked partly surprised and mostly afraid at the fact that Antasma had somehow known they were coming to the Crystal Empire, "How did he know?" Twilight asked.
"He must have known that the heart was the only thing that would nullify his spell. So he sent someone in his army to destroy it, pretty sneaky, even for my standards." Sombra tried to explain as he didn't witness Antasma sending Sharagan first hand.
"I WON'T ASK AGAIN!!!!" Sharagan raised his voice, which caught the attention of the crystal ponies, "HAND ME TWILIGHT AND SOMBRA RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!"
After he stopped speaking, he was slammed by a barrage of unicorn magic, causing to fly backwards and slam into one of his ship's hulls, which in turn deactivated the weapons momentarily, "Core Room!" He spoke into a comm unit on the ship, "Get those guns up and running again!"
"It will take 5 minutes max, Sharagan." The engineer in the core room said to him, "Until then, try hitting them with some of your other ships!"
Sharagan took note of this 5 minute delay, and flew onto another flagship next to the one he was already on, and motioned to fire the laser cannons, "Who wants some glue?!" He said as the cannons were turned and were now blasting the Crystal Empire's forcefield with little avail. But after one ship started firing, the others followed suit and unleashed hell on the forcefield, and after 5 minutes of blasting, the forcefield shattered, and the main flagship started firing larger lasers than the other ships, as well as heat seeking missiles and lightning filled mortal shells.
"With the power he's packing, he's gonna blow the empire into next year!" Twilight said as she cast her own forcefield on the Crystal Heart, causing another rainbow coloured forcefield to materialize around herself and King Sombra.
"Well, if you're not going to show yourself, Twilight, i'll just have to blast you out, like a rat in the sewers!" Sharagan said as he pointed the cannons at the castle, "UNLEASH HELL!!!!!"
The lasers were now coloured white, and were firing on the streets close to the castle itself. But what Twilight and Sombra were surprised about was that these new white lasers froze the streets solid in a row of tall, spiky, icebergs, entrapping them both under the castle.
"We need to get the heart somewhere safe." Sombra said as the streets were turning into fields of spiky icebergs, "And quickly! If Antasma or Sharagan catches us, it's game over!"
As the two ponies ran down the last unfrozen street, Sharagan started charging up his ice laser once more, aiming squarely at Twilight and Sombra.
"Well what do we have here?" Sharagan said as his aiming screen was pointing a red ring around Twilight and Sombra, "If it isn't public enemies 1 and 2! BLOW THEM TO ARCTIC ZERO!!!!!!"
The laser's barrel was now glowing pure white, and little white balls were flying into it out of nowhere. As this occured, the barrel's white light suddenly grew more and more powerful, until it shot a thunderous white laser at Twilight and Sombra. But moments before it hit them, they had vanished into thin air, and all that the laser struck was the cold empty streets.
"Now, let's wrap them up in juice and have snow cones." Sharagan said, his voice now calm and peaceful only to flare up once again to see that the ice in the streets did not contain the two ponies he was aiming for, "WHAT?!?!?!"
Suddenly, Twilight and Sombra appeared right before his eyes, only they looked a lot closer than they were a few seconds ago. He leapt back in surprise and drew his swords from his waistline scabbards, as if motioning a duel with the two equines.
"A fight?" Sombra asked with a hint of confusion, "With swords?"
"Yes." Sharagan said to him, "I trust you ponies know how to wield your swords without eating them?" He said as a little joke.
All Twilight did was shoot a death-glare at him, and materialized a purple sword with her cutie mark engraved on the handle. Sombra did the same, only his was black as night with blood covering the whole handle, and spikes tipped all over the blade.
"I'll take that as a yes." Sharagan said as the bridge that they were standing in suddenly lost it's roof and started moving up to the roof of the ship. as they were being lifted to the roof by the elevator-like throne room, Sharagan picked up his sword and charged at Sombra and Twilight, casting death stares and a weirdly evil-happy grin at them.
He was one hard human-like manifestation of darkness to kill, as he was constantly teleporting split-seconds before his swords landed their slashed, constantly throwing Sombra and Twilight off guard, and knocking them to the floor writhing in blood.
"Foolish little ponies! You thought you could beat me?!" He laughed manically as the roofless control room without its' men was now locked in position at the very top of the ship. The wind was strong up here, albeit there were no pegasi in sight, and it was quite nice for them to see the sky again. This compelled them both to stand up and heal their cuts with a healing spell which only alicorns and entities of darkness could perform, "Very well, ponies. Try and fight me, although a quick heads up, i won't be holding anything back now!!!!"
"We're not scared now, Sharagan!" Twilight said with vigor as she shot magic at him,and then immediately rushed over to his next teleportation landing spot, and slashed his appearing figure perfectly in time with the magic spell hitting his dissapearing figure, "You see, after taking quite a pounding, me and Sombra here were able to analyze your dark powers thoroughly. You rely on dodging to save your hide, so that's when it hit us. Where would you run to, if there wasn't anywhere to run to?"
"Now that we've managed to isolate your powers, we won't be holding anything back either!" Sombra said as he did the exact same thing as Twilight did earlier, dealing another successful and surprisingly painful looking slash to Sharagan's stomach, causing to flinch back in agony and fall off the bridge, only to start flying again thanks to the wings from his shoulder blades.
"Well, this i wasn't expecting." He said as he was starting to recover from the previous slashings, "I applaud you, it's not everyone who's been able to slash me off of my ShadowStorm Ultima. Actually, scratch that, it's been no-one! This is going to be an epic finale!"
"SHADOW FORM INITIATE!!!!" He said as he was wrapped in a cocoon of black veils of magic, being lifted higher and higher from his current airborne position. When the cocoon shattered, it revealed Sharagan with a lot of changes. His skin was dark purple, his swords were longer, sharper, and more wrapped in dark magic than they were before. And just to finish it all off, his wings were no longer black angelic, but more, black demonic. He looked like the perfect interpretation of Sunset Satan's darker, eviler, more maniacal unmentioned husband. "Come at me bro!"
"This doesn't look good!" Sombra said as he was eyeing down the demonic hellspawn that was once Sharagan.
"Tell me about it, i've handled a demon before, and let me tell you, they are just sinister!" Twilight responded to the black unicorn.
"Try to catch me!" Sharagan Devil Form said as he teleported to another ship far off in the distance, only to re-teleport to another ship, and another ship, and another ship. Twilight and Sombra could tell he was going to be hard to defeat now, not to mention hard to reach.
"Twilight. It's time!" Sombra said as his horn started glowing dark magic.
"You know it!" She said as her horn followed suit only with her brand of magic.
"MAGIC EVOLUTION DUOS!!!!" She said as a purple cocoon was wrapped around herself. Once it burst, Twilight was now able to hold her human form with wings even in Equestria. What's more is that she was now wrapped in magenta battle armour, and brandishing two rainbow coloured swords with all six harmony marks on each handle, "Dual Form Twilight, READY!"
"NECRO FORM ACTIVATE!" Sombra said as he was wrapped in his own black cocoon. After his burst, Sombra was now a black snake-like dragon with swords in each of his new body's hands. His dragon form had no feet, but he didn't mind that a bit, as the hands closer to his tail region were now glowing dark purple, as if to signify that that part of his body was utilizing dark magic, "Fear Dragon Sombra, READY!!!!"
"WITH THE POWER OF THE LIGHT AND DARKNESS AT OUR DISPOSAL, YOU WILL NEVER CONQUER EQUESTRIA!!!!" They both said in perfect unison, as they posed for a close up shot.
"This makes it even better!" Sharagan said as he was charging at Twilight and Sombra, who were, surprisingly, charging at him, "LET'S END THIS SILLY DEBACLE ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!" He said as they came inches between each one another before the screen held them in a manga like picture.

I decided to at least put my best ideas into this one for 3 reasons:
1: I wanted Antasma's commanders to look threatening
2: I quite liked Twi's final form in Equestria Girls

Chapter 6: The Demon, The Dragon, And The Dualform
After the manga picture reverted back to the normal FIM graphics, Sharagan crashed into Twilight and Sombra's new forms, knocking all 3 combatants backwards through the gale-like winds.
"Well now, you two are putting up quite a bit more fight than usual." Sharagan said as he was recovering from his knockback, "No-one's been able to survive a demonic charge and come out unharmed. This must be why Lord Antasma is powering up in his new castle."
"Powering up?" Twilight asked him.
"Didn't your mother tell you that it's rude to eavesdrop?!" Sharagan said as he fired a sword shockwave from his demon swords, only for Sombra to intercept it with his dark magics, "You are quite annoying now!"
The battle raged on, Sombra and Twilight were now chasing the demon through the suddenly stormy sky, dodging streaks of lightning and demonic magics to catch up to him. When they eventually caught up to him standing on top of another enormous ship, they turned into meteors and shot themselves at him, causing him to fly off of his ship before it was completely torn to pieces by the purple and black meteors before exploding in a fiery explosion.
"You sunk my flagship?!" Sharagan said as his demonic aura magnified itself into a dark purple coloured storm, "YOU'RE DEAD, LITTLE HORSIES!!!!!!"
He charged at them both once more. Only this time he was slashing with his swords like there was no tomorrow, shooting thousands and thousands of black shockwaves, most of which missed them both. As soon as he was in range, Sharagan started a sword-o-war battle with Twilight, in which they were both slashing forward, trying to push the other back and slash them into pieces.
"YOU FOOLISH PURPLE HORSE!" He said whilst struggling to push back Twilight, "YOU THINK YOU CAN MEDDLE IN LORD ANTASMA'S PLANS?!"
"I'm not gonna sit idly by and watch my home burn!" Twilight said in a spiteful response.
Sharagan pushed her sword out of the way and teleported to Sombra with blades in hand.
"Sombra. You're a washed up fearmonger, ain't you?" He said once he rematerialized in front of the pony turned dragon, "You let mere ponies stop you, how pathetic! You will never match Antasma's power!"
Sombra simply ignored his taunt and began slashing a thousands swings a minute, hoping to carve the demon into thousands of tiny pieces. His chances were shattered when Sharagan pulled up a forcefield mere split seconds before the first slash even hit.
After the 800th hit however, the forcefield around Sharagan shattered, and the remaining 200 slashes brutally carved his demonic form up, but not to the point of defeat. He was still very bruised and cut from that onslaught of sword steel.
"ARGH!" He screamed in agony as the cuts started to sink in, "You're seriously trying to defeat me?! Pathetic. Now i see that there's no holding back for our final 1-on-1!"
Sharagan started charging up a powerful spell in his new demonic claws. After a few moments of dark magic and archaic rune reading, Sharagan slammed his hands together. The clap he made created a shockwave of dark magic that struck everywhere in the sky and on the ground. The force of this spell was so powerful, that it sent Twilight flying into the castle, causing it to collapse into a million crystalline pieces.
"With your castle ruined, the heart is mine!" He said as the Crystal Heart materialized above the wrecked castle, "And now, to end this little facade once and for all!"
He charged at the heart, with a black meteor-like veil of dark magic flowing around him, as if to crash the heart into his swords. But moments before he reached the heart, Twilight and Sombra teleported in front of him and countered his dark magic meteor with their own magical meteor charge.
"You fiendish little equines!!!!" he said as he was pushing back Sombra and Twilight's meteors, "Nothing will stop the ever-growing power of Lord Antasma!!!!!"
"After we crush you, he's next!" Sombra said as he knocked back Sharagan into one of his own ships, causing it to explode just like the first one.
"THAT TEARS IT!!!!!" He shouted as he emerged from the almost non-existant ship with an enormous black fireball in hands, "DIE, LITTLE PONIES!!!!!!!"
As he hurled the meteor spell at them, Twilight and Sombra were suddenly expelling their own intensified auras. As their magical veils grew and grew with power, they eventually held their right hands in claw-like forms and shouted, "Dark-Light Annihilator Cannon, FIRE!!!!!"
Their auras were then re-shaped into rainbow and black orbs. Once these balls were a decent size, they clapped the orbs together and took up an hadouken stance. Only when the meteor was moments from hitting them, did they push the massive ball forward, only for it to rapidly change into an enormous dark purple laser. This laser completely and utterly obliterated the black meteor, and was now heading straight for Sharagan. Before he could even react though, he was wrapped in the laser's energy, causing his body to burn a purple flame before spontaneously combusting in the wake of the massive beam.
"NO!!!! WHY?!?!?! HOW?!?!?!? THIS IS NOT HOW I WAS MEANT TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Were his last words before he screamed in agony as the purple flames comsumed him. After Sharagan vanished off of the face of the planet, the spaceships he brought with him started to fall out of the sky after being struck by the hadouken as well. Thousands and thousands of burning metal was falling on to the nearby fields, and suddenly dissapearing in enormous balls of fire.
"Well, that settles that." Twilight said as she lifted the heart with her horn aura, "Oops, almost forgot something. I can't stay in this form for long, or else my Element Of Magic will burn itself out and become nothing more than a worthless tiara."
"I might as well change back as well." Sombra said as he and Twilight were returning to their ponyforms, "It would be a shame to burn out my dark powers before we reach Antasma."
"Now that we have the Crystal Heart, we can fix this mess." She said as she began to fill it with otherworldly magic, causing it to turn magenta coloured, just like her coat, "If we can defeat Antasma, and add his dead remnants to the heart, it would cause a esuna, reversing all the damage he and his kind have done to Equestria."
"There's one problem though." Sombra interrupted, "The heart also needs energy from the other members of Antasma's army. Since Sharagan pointed out he was 4th class, there's no doubt there will be more humans where he came from. Who knows? Maybe these others will be even stronger than what we've just beaten. But nontheless, we need to add all of the dead humans to the heart, and leave Antasma for last."
"The others will no doubt be in his castle." Twilight said, "They must be waiting for us, waiting to spring a trap on us."
"Then our only goal is to draw the other humans out of the castle and challenge them out in the open." Sombra said as Sharagan's purple demon soul was added to the heart, "The only way to do that though, is to return fire."
"You mean-"
"Yes. We attack Antasma's castle, forcing him to draw out the other commanders of his army. And when that happens, we destroy them all at once!"

Antasma was looking down from his chair, eyeing down his next leader, "Speak your name and titles for vis monarch please."
The figure said, "My name is Lieria. Commander 3rd Class of the dark army of Antasma. Godlike in the arcane arts, and lord of deception."
"A trickster eh?" Antasma said after he had stopped, "Tell me, are you good at cravting vorcevields?"
"Why do you ask?"
"I've just been given vord vat vose little equines are trying to storm ve castle. And vat is vhy i've arranged for you to shield me from vose foolish ponies. If vat shield goes down, it's game over for me! And after losing to plumbers, i certainly don't vant to have insult added to injury! Got it?!"
"Yes Master Antasma. I will deploy the gaia-class fleet at once."
"One more ving before you go." he said as he handed the human two enormous staves, "Take vese. I call vem the staves of utopia and dystopia. One traps those ponies in their own little heavens, and ve other one locks vem in ve darkness of nightmares. Now you may go.
"Very well."
"Let's play a little game called Up-Yours-Ponies!"
Chapter 7: Lieria, The Fiendish Trickster
It was a cold and dark night, ponies-turned-statue all over the place. Yet the sky was surprisingly lighter than expected, as a purple and black comet were rushing across the winds to a nearby castle that looked exactly like Antasma's. Every detail was correct, from the look of the castle, to it's actual exterior colours, it was even the same height off of the ground as Antasma's real fortress. Little did Twilight and Sombra know that they were rushing straight into a trap.
"Be careful, Sombra." Twilight said as they landed on the throne room balcony, "Antasma might have been setting traps all around us. I'll just check with a spell just to be safe."
She started conjuring up quite a powerful spell. As her aura intensified, it sent out a purple shockwave, one which scanned the room for any and all booby-traps, only to surprise Twilight that there weren't any.
All that she saw once looking inside the magnificent throne was a caged Celestia, and Antasma The Bat King sitting on his throne, not paying any attention to Twilight and Sombra's appearance.
"Psst, Princess." Twilight whispered to her, "We're gonna get you outta here, but we gotta move fast."
"Actually, Twilight, i don't want to leave." She said with a sly grin on her face, "Antasma here is a very nice man. He even taught me about the Human World for once."
"He's obviously employed some kinda mind-control spell on you." Twilight said once more, "I've got this."
As she fired an aura blast from her horn, she and Sombra were surprised beyond belief to notice that the spell had completely gone through Celestia and hit a wall behind her.
"Celestia? Is this some kind of practical joke?" Sombra asked as they came closer and closer to the cage.
"It's no joke, my friends." She had an even more sly and smug voice than usual, "Come to the lock, and walk me out. I sprained my ankles and wings."
They both shared confused glances, but still did as they were told, flying up to the lock and breaking it into a million tiny pieces with their high level magics. Antasma still hadn't noticed yet, but Celestia was being walked out of the cage. But to their surprise, Twilight and Sombra could not even touch her, as if she was some kind of hologram.
"OK, stop playing around, princess. We gotta go!" Twilight shouted, still miraculously not grabbing Antasma's attention.
"Yes, I will go, but you two are staying right here!" Celestia's voice suddenly changed to a man's voice as her hologram dissapeared. After the fake had vanished, the cage resealed itself, and the whole castle vanished from the night sky. The entire fake structure was being pulled into a massive black staff.
"The castle's collapsing!" Twilight said as she tried to activate a spell, to her disarray the spell immediately fizzled out on her. Sombra tried spell casting now, only to have the same result. Then it hit them. Celestia's fake voice, the way she didn't want to leave, and Antasma's complete and utter ignorance. THIS CASTLE THEY WERE IN WAS FAKE!!!!
As the fake Antasma vanished from their eyes, Twilight, Sombra, and the whole fake castle vanished completely into a little black orb on top of a long dark magical flow.
"That oughta keep them busy." Lieria said after the ball sealed itself, "I caught the fiendish ones! When Lord Antasma sees this, it's gonna be.... promotion city!" He said laughing, until he was swallowed up by a black-hole-like teleporter, a lot similar to those used by Organization XIII
Chapter 8: An Audience With Antasma
When Twilight and Sombra woke up in their cell, they were no longer in the fake castle created by Lieria. But they were in what looked like an audience chamber with thousands of zombified humans and ponies cheering Antasma as he stood up to the podium.
"SILENCE!!!!" He said after making it to the stand, this outburst caused everyone to be quiet and listen to their master's speech, "Today is a great day for the forces of darkness! Today is ve day that i reclaim my title as the vorlds greatest villain!!!!"
An uproar of cheers came from the crowd as he finished up the first part of his little announcement.
"Now vithout further ado, it is time to welcome, ve antagonists of my little plans." The crowd jeered at Twilight and Sombra as the cloth was removed from the cage, "ENOUGH!!!!"
That shut them up.
"Here we are again, Tvilight. Oh and i see you've brought that fool of a fearmonger vith you as well!" He said as he flew around the cage, touching and pulling at her and Sombra.
"For the last time, Antasma. It's TWI-LIGHT, Tuh-Why light." She snapped after her name was once more butchered by the transylvanian villain, "And frankly, i'm quite offended that you're mispeling it!"
"Awww, did i hurt ve poor horsie's feewings?" He said as if to mock her smart-ass attitude, "Bah, whatever. I have no feelings anymore, feelings like trust, happiness, fear, it is all meaningless to me now. I noticed that right after that snake-in-the-grass, Bowser stole my prize from me!" He said as he held up a holographic image of the Dream Stone.
"You don't know vat i've had to do during my time on Pi'llo Island! Jumping through all those hoops, only to have my ultimate prize stolen! By some vashed up reptilian king."
"You were robbed?" Sombra was now curious, he didn't know that Antasma had had his ultimate planet-conquering-weapon stolen from him in the past.
"And now i vant my revenge! And now i will have it!" He said as a giant tv appeared from the ceiling. On it's screen was Princess Celestia, hooked up to some kind of generator, being fried with dark purple lightning. As she screamed in agony, a portal was opening itself up in the giant metal ring next to her, only to fizzle out a few minutes later, "It is not yet completed, but vat device is supposed to be a portal to the Marioverse. After i conquer Equestria, i vill return to my own dimension, and get my revenge on those do-gooding plumber wannabees, Mario and Luigi!!!!"
"You're insane!" Twilight said as black chains were suddenly being wrapped around herself and Sombra.
"No, I am ve greatest villain of all time! Sure the other M&L villains had evil plots in their games, but vey didn't have vat evil feel and look to them. I on ve other hand am much much more villain-looking than any of them, I mean think about it, Cackletta looked like an old hag, Princess Shroob vas really weird looking, And Fawful.... I have no vords for how docile he looked! I AM A BADASS MARIO AND LUIGI VILLAIN AND I DEMAND MY RESPECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Lord Antasma, you should calm down. You're starting to destroy your audience chamber without even trying." Another figure said as Antasma started shouting black lightning and a string of swear words.
He panted a little while, a symbol meaning he was calming down, "Thank you, Mistress Dreadryourigha, I almost blew a fuse there."
"You monster!" Sombra said as his and Twilight's horns were suddenly trapped inside a horn-shaped safe that looked unbreakable.
"Before ve close this public service, it's time to play......"
"WHEEL OF SACRIFICE!!!!" Came from the cheering audience as an enourmous wheel appeared behind Antasma and his troops.
"You know how vis works. I spin ve wheel, and whatever it lands on, that's how we kill these ponies!" He said now dressed in a gameshow host's tuxedo and started flying up to the prong at the wheel's top.
"OK, Let's spin the wheel!" He got a good grasp in the prong, and pulled it down really fast in a clockwise manner. As the wheel span around like a hypnotic disc, all the death options flashed by, a few of them were "Burn Them Alive" "Feed Them To A Dragon" "Launch Them Into Outer Space" But the one they all had their eyes on was "Place Them On The Trash Laser" As the wheel finally stopped, the punishment was picked, to which Twilight and Sombra looked utterly terrified, "Ooh looks like vey're going out with ve trash! Their death sentence is, Place Them On Ve Trash Laser!!!!"
As they were being pulled out of their cells by Lieria and Dreadryourigha, Sombra closed the curtains behind them after saying a special goodbye to his fans, "Goodbye everyone, but don't forget, you can still vatch them getting blown to ashes on your TV'S at 8PM tonight!"
Chapter 9: How It Ends
Twilight and Sombra were now hooked up to a pile of old junk, filled with nothing but food garbage, old games consoles, and of course, dead bodies. Hanging above it all was a giant futuristic neon ring lodged inside a large piece of machinery which was gathering energy.
"This must be the trash laser he was talking about." Sombra said as he woke up wrapped in some thrown out ball and chain combos, "He must really be desperate now."
"I gotta hand it to Antasma there, when he makes an evil plot, he does it in style." Twilight said upon waking up stuffed into a dollhouse with her head poking out of the attic, "He's making Queen Chrysalis's plans seem childish."
No sooner had she finished than a door whooshed open in a futuristic manner, with Antasma stepping through the now clear frame into his garbage destruction plant. and up to a giant red button on the nearby wall.
"Vell here we are again once more, Twilight." He said as he addressed the trapped princess, "At least i got your name right vis time. Just how you vanted me to say it."
"Even if i fall here, my friends will avenge me." She said as the laser was charging up above their heads.
"Ah yes, your friends as you call vem. I thought you would have allies, so i made perfectly sure vat no-one is going to save you!" He said as an entire wall was removed in a futuristic way, revealing Twilight's friends, their eyes were now black, and had archaic markings all over their eyes and body, completely covering their cutie marks in veils of pure darkness, "Now you see ve truth, Twilight. You are alone in vis world, always have been, always will be. There will be no-one to save you vis time."
The laser's vibrating hums started to intensify, almost to the point of deafening the two ponies. As the light changed from blue to dark purple with black lightning, Antasma walked out into the corridor with the brainwashed ponies closely behind him, "Farevell, Tvilight."
As soon as the doors sealed, the laser finally volleyed a torrent of black-purple energy. It was so powerful that it completely removed Twilight and Sombra from existance, as well as the thousands of tonnes of garbage surrounding them.
After the laser subsided, the screen zooms out to reveal a crystal ball, showing the garbage room charging up for another blast.
"Brilliant idea for sending fakes to the castle first, eh Sombra?" Twilight said as they were sitting underneath a nearby tree in the ruined Ponyville.
"One of the best you've come up with today, Princess." He said in response, "Now that Antasma thinks we're dead, he won't be looking for us anymore. So we can sneak into the real castle undetected, restore your friends to light, and take down Antasma in one fell swoop!"
"But there's one problem." Twilight pointed out, "If We survived the petrification spell, then Antasma will start to think others survived as well and will be trying to storm his castle. No doubt security will be tighter now that he thinks we're dead."
"Trust me, it's a lot deadlier in MY crystal empire." Sombra said with some confidence, "I'm sure it will be a piece of cake, provided the guards don't find us."
"Storming a castle." Twilight exhaled as she saw the magnificent flying evil castle, "How hard can that be?"

"Kyahahahaha! Vith vose meddlesome little ponies out of ve picture, my victory and return to ve marioverse is imminent!" Antasma said once he took his seat in the throne room.
"Antasma, you're nothing but a coward who is asking for a punishing battle!" Celestia said on the HD screen he was watching.
"Vell i'm sorry about my inexperience on ve away field." He said slyly, "/i much prefer fighting on home field. Vat about you, my dear ticket home? Do you like fighting at your home field?"
"I never have any means to fight unless my home is invaded by scum like you!"
"Ven it's too bad vat you're locked up in my power syphon, othervise it vould have been on, my dear Celestia."
Suddenly an alarm sounded on his little map, and as he quickly enhanced it, he saw two little white dots moving along the virtual grid.
"Vat's impossible!" Antasma said as he turned the two white dots into Twilight and Sombra, "I killed vem, vith a laser!"
"Oh it's on alright, Antasma!" Celestia's screen popped up once more, "Twilight is coming to strike you down once and for all!!!"
"Vat's what you think, my little pony." He said as he fired black lightning onto his red carpet. It swirled around for a few moments before it respawned Lieria, "Lieria! Tvilight and Sombra have invaded the castle. Why don't you keep vem occupied for a while. You're a much more suitable replacement for that miserable Kamek i stole a few years back."
"Very well, Lord Antasma." He said as he raised his two staves, "I swear on my life, they will not reach this throne room!"
"See vat you do. Oh and one more thing."
"Yes, Lord Antasma?"
"When you find Tvilight and Sombra, don't capture them. KILL THEM ON SIGHT!!!"
"Very well then. I must be off."
"Kyahahahaha, so Tvilight. You think you and that washed up excuse for a villain, Sombra can invade my castle and try to dethrone me? I'd like to see you try." He said as he pushed a big red button which had just popped out from the right arm of his throne.

The game is well and truly on now, and Antasma is the cat in this game of Cat and Mouse. Will Twilight and Sombra successfully storm the castle and defeat Antasma? Or will Lieria bring about their ends? Read on and enjoy the siege.
