Twilight was suiting Spike up in a nice tuxedo with a bright red bow-tie with her magic... Spike grew tall, he didn't grow in size or weight, but in height. He was now much taller then Twilight, so tall, he had to duck upon entering the any door of the house.

Twilight tightened the bow onto his shirt causing Spike to choke slightly. "Ack!! Not so tight!" Spike whined. Spike's voice was much lower then his high-pitched childish voice, not to mention his snout grew, along with his now sharp teeth.

"Sorry Spike." said Twilight with a giggle.

Twilight stopped her magic and released the bow tie.

She backed up to take a good look at Spike.

"There! You look stunning!"

"Hehe, thanks Twi..." Replied Spike with a nervous yet goofy smile.

"What's the matter Spike? You've been waiting for this day since you met Rarity!" asked Twilight.

"W-Well...W-What if she refuses?" asked Spike with a nervous look.

Spike began sweating, tugging at the collar of his shirt with his claw.

Twilight walked up to Spike slowly replying, "Oh Spike, you have no need to worry! If I know Rarity, she would NEVER refuse an offer like this! You've been dating for months now, and not once has Rarity called off a date with you!"

"Y-You really think so?!"

"I know so Spike..."

Spike got on his knees where he could hug Twilight, because he was too big to hug Twilight standing up.

The hug lasted a few moments. Then Spike said with his eyes shut and a smile,

"Thanks Twilight..."

Spike broke the hug and looked at the clock. He then told Twilight,

"Well, Twilight got to run!"

"Okay Spike! I'm hoping for you!" Twilight replied with a small grin.

"Thanks Twilight! See ya!"

Spike shut the door behind him and rushed to the Carousel Boutique.

Twilight turned around away from the door and thought to herself,

Good luck Spike...

Spike finally got to Carousel Boutique and knocked on the door lightly.

"I'm coming!" said Rarity from behind the door.

Rarity opened the door, she was wearing her work glasses. To her surprise, Spike was in a dashing black tuxedo, holding a bouquet of roses in one hand, and behind his back is his other hand, he was hiding something from Rarity. But she was too shocked to wonder about his other hand at the moment.

"S-Spike?! Y-You look amazing!!" She gasped.

"R-Rarity T-these are for you..."

Spike handed the Red roses to Rarity. She gave them a sniff and let out a sigh.

"They're magnificent!" she said with a smile.

"H-Heh. T-thanks Rarity..." he sheepishly laughed.

"Why don't you come in? Its poring down rain darling."

"I guess so..."

"So Spike, what are you here for? A date?" the white unicorn asked,

"N-No...Not Exactly..." he replied.

His heart was pounding, his face began to blush, and sweat trickled down his head.

"I-Is something wrong darling?" asked Rarity.

"I-I--"

"Spike?"

Spike thought he was having a heart attack because his heart was beating so hard and fast. His forehead and neck was soaked in sweat. Almost like the sun was burning him without it even being there.

But eventually he built up the courage and began to say in a loud tone,

"Rarity!" He started.

Rarity was shocked by such the sudden shout.

But then he got on his left knee and held out his other hand from behind his back. He was holding a small teal box and light said.

"Rarity..." started Spike.

He opened the box.... And inside was gold ring with a small Fire ruby on the top...

Spike was aging this for what seemed like years but only a few months, and now it was perfected...

With a slight crack in his voice he began.

"Rarity..."

"W-Will you marry me?"

Rarity's jaw hung open, and put her hoof over her mouth...

She began to cry...

Spike began to pant by the relief of proposing to Rarity. It almost felt like a baseball hit his chest and knocked the breath out of him.

Rarity took off her glasses and jumped at Spike with a hug. She grasped Spike's back tight, crying what seemed liked rivers.

"Oh Spike!"

"I-I will!!!" she yelled.

She gave Spike a long kiss on the lips. Spike's eyes widen at first, and closed them slowly as the stars and heavens shined directly above the soon to be wedded couple...
