Artifact is the director of the new findings branch Equestrian Historical Society, a group that researches pony history and digs up ancient pony artifacts, so everypony can learn from their past. Of course, that's far from the whole truth.

This is a transcript of the final video log of Prof. Artifact, a tell-all of the purpose of the EHS, the true history of Equestria, and the fall of a species known as Humans. While the original video has been lost forever, this transcript has been leaked by an unknown source, and must be treated with the utmost caution. The truth is not always pleasant.
