One day while he is hard at work on Sodor, Thomas the Tank Engine inadvertently rediscovers the entrance to the Magic Railroad. Once he arrives there, he sees that the railway has changed since his last visit, as it now leads to many different destinations. Going through another set of buffers, Thomas finds himself in an unfamiliar land... filled with talking ponies.

These stories will detail the young tank engine's adventures as he returns to Equestria time and again to spend time with his new pony friends.
