I suppose I owe you something for coming to my profile, <b> AND </b> deciding to read my first fanfic.

ANYWAY!

Let the story... <i> <b> BEGIN! </b> </i>

Waitwaitwait, I have to apologize. Before it can, you know, <i> <b> "BEGIN!" </b> </i> I have to give a teeny legal disclaimer.

... Well. Okay, time for it to... begin. I suppose. *sigh* That went well.

"Augggggggggggggggh..."

Twilight sighed as she started waking from a particularly good sleep. For some reason, she had slept much better that night. She could tell from the light on her eyelids that it was already day, possibly noon. Usually, she woke up at dawn, in order to get the library organized. She stretched out her legs and tail, then fluttered her... wings? She winked her eyes, and noticed her blue hooves. She walked through the cloud house (which wasn’t hers) to the mirror (which wasn’t hers) to see the face in the mirror. (which was... Rainbow Dash’s?)

Far below in Ponyville, a shriek awoke a certain someone in the local library. Rainbow Dash rose to an aching back. As she looked around, she realized she was at Twilight’s. She didn’t think much of this until she remembered after she had been with Twilight a few months ago, they hadn’t done anything together. As she became even more awake, she realized her wings were gone, and her hooves were purple. She started a shriek like the one that awoke her, but she was interrupted by a giant thwacking noise as a confused Twilight in Dash’s body fell onto the balcony outside.

“AGH. THAT’S MY BODY. HOW’D YOU GET IT?” Rainbow Dash yelled at her body. “THAT’S FOR MY PRIVATE USE.”

Her body slowly stood up. “I’m sorry, I’m just so confused by what happened I don’t know where I am and I c-” She suddenly stopped short as her eyes fully rose to Rainbow Dash. “But I could ask you the same thing. Why are you in MY body?”

“Twilight?”

“Rainbow?”

“HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?” They shouted at eachother, in harmony.

“Augh, I’m not a pegasus, I don’t know how to fly I know MAGIC. I know Magic. Magic can get us out of this mess, though it’s probably what got us into it. What were you doing last night?”

“Uh, well we went out to that Chinese place after being particularly mad at each other and-”

<i> “MR.WRITER!”

“AUGH GOD HOW DID YOU GET THERE?”

“Pinkie’s not the only one who can break the fourth wall.”

“Well, that’s great. What do you want?”

“I really don’t want to rip off that wonderful <b> COPYRIGHTED </b> movie who’s name I won’t mention.”

“That’s probably not a bad idea. But I’ll need something else. Failed magic experiment, first full moon since it?”

“That’ll work. Thanks for being cooperative.”

“Sheesh, actors.”

BACK TO OUR UNINTERRUPTED STORY. </i>

“Well, I was just flying around, checking out that beautiful full moon-”

“Full moon? THAT’S IT. Remember, Rainbow? We tried that experiment a while back, I was supposed to get wings, you were supposed to get horns, just for that day! Well, it didn’t work. I bet that stuff has been lingering around in our system, and- wait, when did you go to sleep?”

“I was flying, then all of a sudden I got really sleepy. Flew over and went to sleep immediately.”

“You know, magic makes you really sleepy. I was up late last night, trying a new shelving spell. I bet you that since the full moon is a magic magnifier, when I did that shelving spell at it’s peak, it activated the left over magic in our systems. But instead of trading the wings and horns for a day, it did more, and switched us for who knows how long.”

“I can’t work like this for the young flyer’s competition!”

“Neither can I, for the Create-A-Spell competition. That’s what the experiment was for, originally. I’ll have to look it up in the spell books. See how to reverse it, if possible. I know what books we can use, there are a few dedicated to switching bodies, souls, minds, all these kinds of things. I just have to find it...”

End of chapter one.

That was so long. JK. Anyway, there’ll be more eventually. Just got to get around to it. Don’t know how long it’ll be, I'm just trying it out right now, and learning how fics work, seeing the site. I hope you guys like it.You know, I wrote this to when Twilight in Dash’s body fell on the balcony and originally left it there for a week or two. Refound it, and almost decided I could put it up as a prompt, but I decided to finish it. Now I'm done, I’ll put up the next chapter soon, if you guys like it. Please rate it, comment it, whatever you do to it, I’m new to the site. BE BRUTAL. It IS my first fic, but I LOVE criticism. THANKS GUYS. SEE YA NEXT WHENEVER.
