A Boy in Limbo

Limbo
The sounds of birds chirping and tree's blowing in the wind could be heard all around the giant, dark forest. No other sounds emitted from the desolate place, just the wind and the birds. This time, however...there was the sound of footsteps. Those footsteps belonged to a little child; a boy, to be precise. We will just call him The Nameless boy, for now.
The Nameless little boy was wandering around the evil forest, as he had done many times before. He was forced to revisit this place for eternity. No one actually knew why...even he didn't know. He had faced a giant spider, kids who were out to kill him and mind controlling larvae. It was not a safe place to be...especially for a young child.
He had died countless times over and over again. Every time he did, he came back as if nothing had happened. He didn't understand why this was happening or what he had done to deserve this, but it was tough. He had to do this. Over and over. When he first woke up in the forest, he wanted to find his sister as that was the only loved one he could remember. In the end, he did find her. She was standing next to a grave, mourning. She eventually put a teddy bear and flowers on the grave. But when this had happened the first time, as he had seen his sister doing this same thing every time he had to go through the forest and everywhere else again to get here, he recognized that bear. Its scruff markings, cuts, fluff that was hanging out and its left eye that was missing looked exactly like his old bear. It was his old bear. He eventually realised that there was a reason why she was doing this.
She was mourning his death.
He never did understand how he was dead, as he felt alive. Sort of. He guessed that he had gone to a spiritual realm or something. But he never could try to get around this repeating pattern…he was forced to come back here every time he got to the end.
The first time that this happened, after he saw his sister...he blacked out and woke up at the EXACT same spot that he was in when he first arrived in the dark forest. This happened every time he got to the end of his journey to find his sister. He realised after a few times doing this that he would never get away from this place.
One thing he didn't realise is that a certain powerful equine had been watching him for quite a while now.
"Alright Luna, I will be back shortly."
"Okay sister. Be careful."
Two sisters were about to part, as they always did at this time of day. One would go raise the moon and the other one would watch over the realms for part of the night to make sure everything was alright.
The realms were the different dimensions and galaxies in the universe. Celestia, goddess of the sun, had to do this to check that nothing was going wrong in the dimensions that could affect Equestria. Equestria was the planet that she ruled, along with her sister, Luna, whose job was to raise the moon at night.
One day when Celestia was doing her routinely check of the realms, she noticed something odd. When she was about to finish checking all of the realms, another one appeared out of nowhere.
"Strange. A new realm doesn't appear that fast."
She went to investigate this strange occurrence. When she did check it, she saw that a little creature that she didn't recognise from anywhere was alone in a very large, unnaturally dark forest. The trees were bigger than any normal tree she had seen before and everything was either black or white. Finding this out of place, she decided to watch what would happen with the little creature. He was walking on a path through the forest, evading all sorts of traps and hazards. After a while, when Celestia thought the creature was safe, she spotted something in the corner of her eye. She looked at it properly and saw that it was a giant arachnid of some sort. She had seen spiders before, but not one of this size. She continued to watch the little creature and see if he would react to the giant insect. What she saw shocked and frightened her.
The spider impaled the creature on one of its legs, causing the leg to go through the creatures head and down to an area between its legs. It chucked the creature off of its leg as it died quickly, leaving splodges of blood on the ground.
"Mother of..."
The poor thing had looked defenseless. It had no chance against the giant arachnid. Before she could finish her sentence, she saw something to the left of her which startled her. It turned out to be the little creature. It had just been brutally killed by the arachnid, yet it had come back to life as if nothing had happened. The spider was nowhere to be seen. It had just disappeared into thin air when the creature came back. The creature’s body had disappeared as well, only for it to come back alive at an earlier point in the forest. After a few seconds, the creature started yet again walking on to the path. However, it was the same path that had led to the spider.
Celestia was confused and felt horrible for witnessing the death of the tiny creature. She put a hoof to her chin and thought. "Why did the creature come back after death? Why did the spider kill it? Why is the little creature walking towards the spider again?" She had so many questions and not enough time to answer them all. It then hit her.
"What if...he has to do this over and over? That would explain why he came back after the spider killed him and also why the creature is walking towards the spider again."
She guessed what was going to happen next and she didn't want said thing to occur again. "Oh no....I need to do something...and fast." Before she could question her decision, she flew down into the realm at high speed, causing the trees to be hit by the big gust of wind that had followed Celestia's flight path.
She landed and saw the little creature and the giant spider in front of her. The spider was getting ready to kill the creature, in the same way, again. "Oh no you don't, you foul demon!" As the spiders leg was about to impale the creature, the spider flew into a faraway tree. It didn't get up.
The nameless boy had just witnessed something that even after all this, he would have not expected to see. A white horse of some kind with wings and horn had swooped down and kicked the spider straight in the face, sending it flying into a tree. He didn't know if it was dead or not. He didn't have time to think about it as the strange horse thing turned around to face him and looked at him with a worried expression on its face. It then did something that seemed even more impossible than this place. It spoke to him.
"Are you okay?"
The boy just stared at the horse. The horse put its hoof on his shoulder. The boy looked at the hoof, then back at the horse and then pushed the hoof off. He began to run in the opposite direction. He didn't know what this thing was, but he couldn't trust anything in this place. Especially a talking horse.
Celestia had put her hoof on the creatures shoulder to try and comfort it, but to no avail. It looked at her hoof, pushed it off and ran away. She was giving chase as the creature didn't run too fast, but it certainly didn't run slow. She attempted to make it stop by shouting at it.
"Please! Stop! I'm not going to hurt you, I promise!"
It didn't stop. Instead, it ran further into the woods as Celestia gave chase. The creature was gaining speed as it started running away even faster. After a few minutes of constant chasing, she lost the creature. It had run into some part of the forest that was even darker than the rest of the area. She started searching, looking behind every tree trying to find it.
"Where did it g..."
Before she could finish, she heard a snapping sound to the right of her. Like some sort of trap. She followed the direction of where the sound had come from. She looked behind one of the biggest trees she had seen yet and what she saw shocked her to the core. She found the creatures body lying on the floor in a pool of blood. Its head was missing. She found its head close to where the body was. She also saw a mechanized trap, which she guessed was the sound that she had heard. It'd been so strong that it had decapitated the poor thing. Celestia looked at the creature’s body and shook her head.
"What a horrible way to..."
A sudden sound of footsteps behind made her spin around, only to see the creature there. She turned back around to look at the body, but it had disappeared. The only thing left was the trap still on the floor. She turned to face the creature but noticed that he had started running away again. She started galloping after it and kept trying to say that she meant no harm. It was no use. The creature obviously wasn't listening or just didn't trust her, which was understandable considering it'd obviously never seen her before.
After a while of this, the creature vanished yet again. "How does it keep disappearing like that?! It's like it knows where every path leads." Then again, that could be the truth. I mean, she didn't know how long it'd been here. It could have been here for years, constantly dying over and over for all she knew.
She came across a steep hill. Out of nowhere, she started to hear footsteps everywhere. She was actually getting worried. "I knew I shouldn't have tried to save that creature. I don't know what lies in this forest. It could be something that can even kill me. And even if I did save it, it might mess with the laws of this realm…" After her quick thought, she finally realised where the footsteps were coming from. She looked up to see shadowy figures, standing there and clearly watching her from on the top of the hill. They seemed to have some sort of weapon in their hands. She was sure they were spears. She noticed that they looked a bit like the creature she was trying to save, only taller and skinnier by the looks of it. Maybe she could reason with these beings?
They suddenly readied their spears and pointed them towards her.
Reasoning was out of the question.
Before she could even try to get away from the shadowy beings, spears were being thrown directly at her.
"Buck."
She tried to conjure up a magical shield, but after multiple attempts, she pieced something together.
Her magic didn't work in this realm.
She decided to use her wings and fly away. By luck, she barely missed the spears being chucked at her and flew higher into the sky, trying to find the creature as she could now see over the trees.
"Where are you?"
She scanned the area.
Celestia had been looking for ages for the creature, but she had come across nothing except for dead creatures and more traps. She had also seen the giant spider again, although this time, it seemed to be going to a cave. Maybe that was its home? She didn't care, as long as it wasn't going after anything such as the creature.
Eventually, she decided to give up searching. Why had this creature piqued her interest anyway? Just because she saw it die and come back doesn't mean she should try and save it right?
She tried not to question her reasons as she was heading back to Equestria. Well, she would have headed back if it wasn't for the black silhouette she had just seen from the sky that was running quite fast through the forest.
The boy had been running for ages to try and get away from that horse thing. He might have been only a kid, but after dying time and time again, he figured out that he couldn't trust anything in this place. He suddenly fell backwards as a big gust of wind hit him. What followed was the horse thing landing in front of him. It trotted up to him.
Now, he was going to try and get away...again. But, he didn't see any point. Even if he didn't trust anything in this place, he started to not care about dying again. Sure, it was the most painful and horrible thing he had ever experience, but he knew that he'd just come back. So, as a result of not caring, he let it trot up to him. It eventually spoke again.
"You did not have to run, you know. I said that I would not hurt you. From what I've seen of this realm so far, I can see why you would not trust something like me. But please.....try and trust me? I will not hurt you."
The horse extended its hoof out to the boy. He wondered what it was trying to do until he saw that it was trying to help him up. He grabbed onto its hoof and it pulled him up to his feet. Now, as I said before, he would have obviously tried to run away if it was anything else.
But if this thing would have wanted him dead, it would have probably done it already...or at least tried to. It spoke again.
"Please...come with me. I can get you out of here."
It was strange enough that it even talked. Nothing ever spoke here, even him. It was always eerily quiet in this place. After a few minutes of silence, he decided to go with it. I mean, what did he have to lose? All that this thing could do is kill him...and he'd been killed enough already to know what death is like. It motioned for him to get on its back. He complied and got on its back, waiting for the horse to do whatever it was going to do to him. He still didn't trust this thing anymore than he did the kids who had killed him with the blow darts and the booby traps. But...it hadn't tried to kill him yet, which was better than anything he had found in this forest.
"Alright. Here we go. Hang on tight."
Before he knew it, the horse flapped its wings and flew at lightning speed towards the sky. He didn't know what it was doing, but it seemed to be doing something else apart from attacking him.
He hung on for dear life and hoped for something to happen other than his death.
Arrival
The moon was shining in the night as everypony slept; Everypony except for Twilight Sparkle, of course. The purple unicorn was sitting up in bed reading a book about old legends and mythical creatures.
"Hmm...let's see..."
Just as she was about to carry on, she heard someone knocking on her door, which was odd considering how late it was.
"Ugh. Who could want to talk to me at this time of night?" Reluctantly, she dragged herself out of her cozy bed and trotted down the stairs, trying not to wake her dragon assistant, Spike, in the process. She eventually got down to the door quietly and when she opened it, her jaw fell to the floor.
There, in the doorway, stood Princess Celestia with a strange looking creature she had never seen before. It was black all over, except for its glowing white eyes. It looked at her and tilted its head. Twilight looked back up at the princess who was staring at her with a worried expression.
"Twilight? Are you okay? Have I come at a bad time?"
Twilight shook her head and smiled. Or at least, attempted to smile, considering she was nearly half dead from tiredness. "Oh! Princess Celestia! No, it's not a bad time at all! Just got up is all. Can I ask, what is that creature standing beside you?"
Celestia sighed and looked at her. "I do not know what species this creature is. All I know is that he's had a very bad time."
She thought to herself. "I can't tell if it's a female or a male, but I will ask it later. I should just call him a "he" for now."
"Alright princess. Thank you for the information. So, do you want to come in or…?" Celestia shook her head.
"I am afraid I will have to decline the offer, Twilight. I am needed back in Canterlot. I only came here to ask you of a favor."
"A favor?" Twilight thought. The princess never asked if she could have a favor done for her. But, being the best student as always, she nodded her head and waited for the favor that Celestia had asked for.
"Thank you, Twilight. I want you to take care of this poor creature, for now at least; just until I can find him a better home. I would take him to Canterlot and let him stay in the castle, but Canterlot is not somewhere that would be suitable for him. Will you look after him until I can sort something out?"
Wow. That was a big favor to ask her. Not only did she already look after Spike, but she also had to run the library and do other stuff. She couldn't decline as this was straight from the princess herself, but she was having doubtful thoughts about it.
"Are you sure…"he"...would prefer here rather than Canterlot princess?" Celestia nodded.
"Yes, I do. Canterlot is full of rich, snobby ponies who do nothing but ridicule the poor. I wish I could change that, but it will always be the same. Here, however, in Ponyville, are ponies that should be more...welcoming...of him."
Twilight had to agree. It WAS the princess after all. And anyway...how bad could one little, silent creature be?
She didn't want to think of that right now.
"Okay princess. I will look after him for the time being."
Celestia smiled. "Thank you, Twilight. It means a great deal to me. Also, he does not seem to be able to speak. Or he simply wishes not to."
She turned towards the being and he looked at her in response.
"Can I ask you something dear?"
He nodded. Celestia smiled, knowing that at least he understood her.
"Are you a male or a female?"
The creature just looked at her and then pointed towards something in Twilight's house. They weren't able to see much of the house through the doorway, but they could see some. And something that the creature saw obviously sparked its interest. Celestia, thinking that he might be trying to tell her something, went over to where he was pointing and saw a notebook. There was also a quill next to it. She was confused at first, but she eventually pieced together what he was trying to say.
"Twilight. Could he use this notebook and quill for communication? I believe he wants to say something to us."
"Ermm...sure princess. Go right ahead."
Celestia smiled and went up to the creature. "Twilight will let you use the notebook and quill if you wish to use it to communicate."
The creature nodded and went over to the notebook and quill. He picked up the quill and looked at it strangely. He went up to Celestia and pointed at it.
"You don't know what this is dear? It's a quill. I thought you would have known considering you were pointing to it. Actually....were you pointing JUST at the paper?"
He nodded.
"I see. Well, a quill is something you use to write with. So, if you want to write on that notebook, use the quill. There is also an ink jar over there to make sure that it doesn't run out of ink."
Celestia pointed to the ink jar and the creature nodded. He turned around, grabbed the quill and began writing in the notebook. When he had done, Celestia and Twilight looked at the notebook and noticed that he had written something. It wasn't great, but they could make out what it said. Barely.
It read "I'm a boy."
Celestia and Twilight smiled, now knowing that the creature was a boy. "Ah, I see little one. So, you are a male. A very young one at that, judging by your size. Now, can you tell us what happened in that forest that I found you in?"
The boy nodded. He started writing again. Celestia and Twilight looked at the notebook again and it read "I don't know."
Celestia put a hoof up to her chin. "Hmm...I will ask you again the next time I come here my dear. If you are ready to tell me then, of course."
The boy nodded his head.
Twilight suddenly thought of something that she felt stupid for forgetting. "Princess, what's his name?"
Celestia mentally facehoofed, as she had never got his name. "What is your name, dear?"
He scribbled down into the notebook and showed it them. "I don't remember."
Twilight and Celestia were now at a loss. If he didn't even remember his name, what could they call him? Celestia walked up to him and smiled. "What should we call you then dear? It is completely up to you. After all, it will be your unique name what nobody else will have."
He put his hand to his head and thought. Celestia and Twilight didn't know what the appendages he had were called, as they clearly weren't hooves. They decided not to ask and save that for later.
Eventually, he started writing down on the notebook again and showed it to Twilight and Celestia. "I can't think of one."
Celestia and Twilight sighed. This was going to be hard. "Well, deary, how about we leave it until another time, okay? I'm sure no one will need to shout your name in the upcoming days so you should be fine."
He nodded. Celestia smiled in response, bid her goodbyes, promised that she would come back again soon to monitor his progress personally, and then flew off back to Canterlot.
After she had gone, Twilight turned to him and smiled. "Well, shall I show you around the house?"
He nodded.
"Alright then. Follow me."
A bad dream
It was a stormy night. The trees were blowing in the wind, the rain and lightning fused together to create an eerie experience. The sounds of tires riding over dirt could be heard. The boy looked over to his sister and attempted a fake smile. She did the same in return.
"I hate you both so much...YOU TOOK HER AWAY FROM ME!" The boy looked forward to see his dad drinking, as always. Ever since the boy's mother had died of an unknown illness, his dad had got depressed, turned to the drink, and never stopped. Because of said drink, he had become enraged with the two, blaming them for his wife's death. The boy never really understood why he blamed them, but he knew one thing. He missed his mother every single second of every single day. To hear his dad shouting like that....it upset him. Badly. And he wasn't the only one upset. His sister wasn't much better. She stayed silent most of the time since their mum’s death. She hardly EVER said a word.
The boy was pretty much the same. He had stayed pretty silent too since his mother’s death. He had also got bullied and still was getting bullied at school by a bunch of older lads who would beat him up, call him names, steal his lunch money; the usual stuff. This made things a lot worse for the boy as it made him feel more worthless than his dad ever did or could.
The boy turned to look to his left and saw his notebook and crayons. He loved to draw, but ever since his mother passed, he'd been using it as a way to communicate rather than speaking. Sometimes, he wondered if he even knew how to speak anymore. He took his notebook and crayons with him everywhere. To school, to his bedroom, and hell, even to the bathroom. The boy and the notebook were inseparable.
He saw his sister’s hand reach out to him and touch him on the leg. He turned to face her and he saw that she also had her notebook with her. She practically treated hers like the boy treated his. She grabbed her crayon and started writing something. She held it up to his face and he read it in his mind.
"When will daddy stop being mad at us?"
The boy grabbed his notebook and crayon and started writing a reply. He showed it to her when he had finished.
"I don't know."
Her hopeful smile turned into a sad expression as she started sobbing. The boy tried to comfort her by hugging her, but his father intervened. He turned around and spat at them.
"Pfft. Why are you crying you little bitch? It's not you who's lost something. IT'S ME!"
That hurt the boy more than the bullies ever could. He was very protective of his sister. He loved her to bits. Whenever his dad treated her badly, he really got annoyed. Anger welling up inside him was something he wasn't really used to and he didn't like at all.
When he didn't get a response, his dad reached over and slapped her. Never in his life had he hit his children. The boy was enraged. If anybody ever touched his sister, he got mad. REAL mad. He grabbed his crayons and paper and wrote something down. He showed it to his dad.
"Leave her alone. She has nothing to do with mummy's death."
His father nearly exploded with rage as reached for the boy and grabbed him by the hair. He started screaming in his face. "DON'T YOU DARE TELL ME WHAT TO DO YOU LITTLE SHIT! YOU ARE NOTHING, YOU HERE ME? YOU AND THAT LITTLE BITCH BESIDE YOU! NOTHING!"
The next thing what happened was something that his dad had never thought would happen. The boy kicked and screamed, shouting "LET GO OF ME!" It was the first time he'd talked in ages. Every kick missed until one connected with his father's jaw and nearly broke his nose. Of course, his father had been too drunk and wasn't looking at the wheel for so long that he'd ended up steering further into the forest. He was originally driving them to their tree house that they had built in the forest a while back to abandon them there. It was their place of sanctum and peace. It was a way to get away from everything. But now, because of their father, it looked like they weren't going to make it. The next thing they knew, the car crashed into a tree and before the boy or the sister could do anything, and because they didn't have their seat belts on, they were ejected out of the car, through the glass windshield and hit the ground straight on with so much force that it broke nearly every bone in the lower part of their bodies. The boy managed, somehow, to look up and see that they had landed by the tree house. He smiled and everything went black.
There was complete silence in the forest. All that could be heard was the wind. That was until footsteps were heard. The sounds of something scurrying away as a silhouette of a young boy came through the bushes and looked at the forest, confused. He knew that this was the forest that was home to his tree house, but it didn't feel the same. Whenever he had come here before, it had felt calm and peaceful. Now, it felt like something was....wrong. Very wrong. The boy continued to walk through the forest. He had woken up in the grass. He looked for his notebook and tried to find his sister, but to no avail. He really needed to find his sister. She was the only thing he truly cared about. He didn't really want to think what happened to his dad, nor did he care.
After about an hour of walking, he spotted something. It looked like a bear trap of some kind. He had seen it before when he saw an animal in the forest get caught in one. He cautiously stepped over it and missed it by an inch. He looked at the bear trap and noticed that it was bigger than any other bear trap that he'd ever seen. He turned around and started walking again, noticing a few little fat chubby creatures on the way. They reminded him of frogs. They ran away whenever he got too close, so they weren't really a danger. As he was walking, he started to think about his sister and if she was okay. He really hoped that nothing had happened to her.
He continued on and eventually found a giant tree. He went up to it only to be surprised by a giant spider that came from behind the tree. He went up to it slowly, and before he could do anything, it raised its leg and impaled him straight through the head.
The sun was shining down onto Twilight's head as she woke up from her slumber. She threw the covers off, stood up, went to the mirror and noticed that she had bed head. She sighed with annoyance.
"I'll deal with it later. It's not like I have to go anywhere right now, anyway."
She walked over to her window and looked through to see the sun high up in the sky. A large smile formed on her face.
"Ah. Nothing better than waking up to Celestia's sun. I can tell this is already going to be a great day!"
She really thought that it was going to be a great day. Until she heard screaming from the next room. She sighed once more.
"Oh well. Was good while it lasted."
A walk through the town
The morning had started quite eventful. Twilight had woke up thinking it was going to be a great day, only to hear the boy screaming. She had rushed in to see what was wrong, but as soon as she had, he was asleep again. She was confused to say the least, but she decided not to wake him.
An hour or so after that, he came down stairs and sat with Twilight at the breakfast table. Spike was still in bed. She let him sleep in after all the work he did yesterday afternoon. He hadn't seen the boy yet, and she didn't know how he might react. But, she would cross that bridge when she came to it.
The boy didn't drink or eat anything. What so ever. Twilight had asked him if he liked any of the food that she currently had, but he just shook his head. He found the notebook, quill and ink jar from last night. He filled it up with ink and wrote to Twilight that "He didn't eat or drink". She found this odd and she was worried, but she couldn't force feed him. Unless he was starving, obviously. But, he wasn't showing any signs of malnutrition. He didn't seem tired or too skinny. Him being an unknown species and all, Twilight just thought "maybe his species don't eat or drink like us ponies do..".
She had asked him if he wanted to go outside and meet the ponies. His response was a nod and so she ate quickly and got ready to go out. Eventually, when she had finished getting ready, she found the boy reading some of her books. She smiled.
"Reading books? I already knew he had some intelligence as he communicated via writing, but this is fascinating..."
"What have you got there?" She asked with her smile still on her face.
The boy showed the book to her. It was a book on urban legends.
She tapped her chin. "Any specfic legend that you're looking for or are you just browsing through?"
He got his notebook, wrote something down and showed it her. "Just browsing through."
She smiled again. "Well, urban legends are very interesting. Anyway, sorry to interrupt your reading, but do you want to go now?"
The boy nodded and put the book where he found it on the shelf. Twilight's smile widened even further.
"He even knows where to put the book. On the correct shelf. Very impressive...and odd considering he's only been here a day.."
She shrugged the last bit off as she thought that maybe he had libraries on his world? It wouldn't surprise her anymore than she already was.
And so, with the book put on the correct shelf, Twilight and the boy headed outside. At first, he seemed to cover his eyes from the sun, as if not used to it. But, after a few seconds, he uncovered his eyes and looked around.
What he saw made him put his hand on his mouth in a "GASP" gesture. Ponies were walking around everywhere, conversing and some even had little stalls where they were selling things.
He also noticed that nearly ALL of them were now staring at him with a mix of shock and fear on their face. Twilight noticed this and brought him close to her by grabbing him around the waist with her hoof. She then shouted as loud as she could.
"LISTEN UP EVERYPONY. THIS LITTLE GUY RIGHT HERE IS A MEMBER OF A NEW SPECIES THAT PRINCESS CELESTIA HERSELF HAS DISCOVERED! I WOULD LIKE YOU TO TREAT HIM WITH THE SAME RESPECT AND KINDNESS THAT YOU TREAT EACHOTHER. CELESTIA ALSO WANTS THE SAME. PLEASE, DON'T BARAGE HIM WITH QUESTIONS AS HE IS ONLY YOUNG. HE CANNOT SPEAK EITHER. HIS ONLY FORM OF COMMUNICATION IS WRITING THINGS DOWN. WITH THAT SAID, PLEASE, CARRY ON WITH THE REST OF YOUR DAY!"
Now, she wasn't a princess, but with the amount of times that she had saved this town and the whole of Equestria and the fact that she was an element bearer, everyone knew her well and usually followed what she said. She smiled when everypony actually did what she said and tried to get on with what they were doing before they saw the boy.
She continued to walk and let go of him. She smiled down at him. "Sorry about that. Just wanted to make sure that no harm comes to you. Can't have the first member of a species totally new to Equis get hurt now, can we?"
The boy shaked his head in a "no" gesture.
Twilight giggled. "That's right. We can't. Now, let me show you around ponyville and then, I can let you meet my friends, if you wish to, that is?"
The boy nodded and Twilight smiled in return.
"Great. Now, first, I'm going to show you the town hall and then, the rest of the village."
After an hour or so of showing the boy around the village, it was now time for him to meet her friends.
"I hope that you've enjoyed the tour of the town, but now, you get to meet my friends. First off, we're going to meet Applejack, alright?"
The boy nodded.
Before they could get there however, a pink blur stopped in front of them, looked at the boy, gasped loudly and sped off. The boy looked at Twilight with a confused expression.
"Oh...that's just Pinkie. Don't worry, she might seem a bit...odd...at first, but she means well."
The boy nodded and looked forward.
Twilight sighed to herself. He was now going to meet her friends. Only one thought crossed her mind.
"I really hope this goes well..."
On hiatus until further notice
I figured since I haven't updated this in quite a while, I'd put it on hiatus until I can get the passion to write again. Sometimes, I'll really want to write a new chapter, but then I think "what if I mess it up?" or something along those lines and it makes me less interested in going through with it.
I'm not going to cancel this story, so don't worry. I just don't want to keep bringing out chapters to you guys that are awful. It's not fair on you. I've just not wanted to write anymore chapters for any of my stories recently and I know, that's wrong. That is also not fair on all of you.
So, as I said, this will be on hiatus until I think I can write decent chapters that most of you will like. I will also put my other stories on hiatus until further notice.
I hope that this doesn't piss you all off or upset you, I just don't want to write chapters for you guys when I don't have the passion to write properly right now. I'd feel like more of an ass than I already do (for putting my stories on hiatus suddenly).
Anyway, sorry guys. Until next time.
