It was a normal day in the sunny and happy pony filled town known as Ponyville. It has been a couple of months since our lovely Twilight's coronation and lately it seems that Equestria has been at peace which is always a good thing but little did the ponies of Ponyville realize that one of them was not who they seemed to be. From out of the sky a pony landed into town and looked around with a skeptic look in his eyes. "So, this is the Ponyville that houses the ponies that blew my brethren away during the Canterlot invasion. How strange it is that they should get beat by what it is we feast upon but that is the past and this is now. With the research I do here I'm sure I can right the wrong that was assumed because of the invasion." the new pony says with a confident smirk.

After a bit of walking and having found an abandoned warehouse that he could use as a temporary base of operations the pony who landed in town known by the name of Platinum Record who was a pegasus stallion with a slick silver mane, a white coat and his cutie mark was a platinum record, of course. However since this was simply a disguise once he was out of the public's eye he ditched the disguise and revealed his true self, a changeling by the name of Zephyr. Zephyr was and still is Queen Chrysalis' most loyal spy and son.

It has been a couple of days since Zephyr finally landed in Ponyville and he figured that now would be a wonderful time to hunt for a stable love source. He searched through the town and saw a peculiar looking stallion who had a zebra coat and pegasus wings. His mane and tail were black and white to match as well alongside his cutie mark that seemed to be a controller. He noticed him talking to a green unicorn mare wearing a bandana around her neck of a lighter shade of green and was sporting glasses alongside a red and green pair of earrings. She also has a two-tone brown colored mane and tail and a feather with three stars as a cutie mark.

"There's my first target." he mutters to himself after seeing the mare then begins to follow them sneakily while disguised as Platinum Record of course so he wouldn't draw any suspicion onto himself for being a changeling. As he followed the two he began to think about the possibilities in the connection that these two shared. At this point he could concur that they were either siblings or a couple. Regardless of which was correct he was going to snatch the mare when the chance presented itself but not today.

Today was only going to be fore gathering the information necessary to disguise himself and temporarily become the stallion she was close to. During the day he could easily tell that from their interactions that they were indeed siblings and because of this he could use it to his advantage. When the day was finally coming to an end he found out where the zebra colored one lived and overheard that the green one would be back tomorrow. Zephyr smirked the once the mare was gone he landed outside the stallion's home.

Zephyr, being as courteous as he is, knocked on the door and waited for an answer. After a couple of seconds the cloud door opened since it was a cloud home after all and out stepped the stallion. He looked down at the disguised changeling with a raised eyebrow.

"Can I help you?" he asked.

"Ah yes. Is this the residence of a Moonlight Gamer?" Zephyr/Platinum Record asked

"Yes, I am he. Is there something wrong?" Moonlight asked in return.

Zephyr/Platinum Record cleared his throat then replied. "Congrats Mr. Gamer. You have been chosen to judge a gaming contest among ponies in Manehatten. Here is your train ticket and if you want to get there on time you must leave today." then gave him the ticket and left as quickly as he came.

The next day Zephyr waited in Moonlight's cloud home for the green mare who was supposed to come visit him today. A couple of hours of waiting and lost patience finally got him what he wanted. He disguised himself as the zebra/pegasus stallion and opened the door.

"Hey there Moonlight. I've come to get you so I can show you that story I wanted you to read that I wrote. Can I come in first cause I'm kinda thirsty." the mare asked and without saying a word Zephyr nodded then moved out of the way so she could walk in. Once inside she looked at him and tilted her head "Say Moon, why don't you talk? It's unusual for you to be quiet." she pointed out.

Zephyr was starting to panic a bit then decided to forget the disguise and revealed himself. "Fine. I'm not your precious Moonlight but I know this for a fact, you're mine now." he says then uses his magic to capture her in a changeling pod that was similar to the one Chrysalis used to hold Celestia after her defeat in front of her subjects. Starry tried to struggle and began to cry but tried to use her magic regardless although she wasn't as adept in using strong magic like most unicorns so she decided to give up the struggle and just deal with what fate had in store for her. Little did she know that her future looked a bit brighter than what she had started to think.

Once at the abandoned building he placed the pod that contained his captive pony and left her wonder what he was going to do with her all night. One thing for sure was that the morning is where it would all take place. The beginning or the end?
