INTRODUCTION-Final Entry

"As I close in my final entry, my crew and I will be in hibernation for about 10 years, Earth years to be exact." An astronaut said to himself recording a log entry. "I hear that Earth was still in the same mess that our past president 5 years ago, but now thanks to our new president, he cleaned it ump and reinstated manned space travel to make this mission possible. Is there life on other worlds, and if there has, will it be like our own home? Will man still be the superior species? But if not, then who will?" The astronaut pondered as he prepared himself for hibernation. "This is what our mission is about. Exploring the unknown. Signed, Saturday, April 29th, 2016, Captain Richard McAllen."

Captain McAllen prepared himself for his deep slumber. What he or his crew doesn't know, is where would be the spaceship Liberty Bell would end up in. Capt. McAllen and his crew, a medic by the name of Virginia Hawke, a science expert named Bradley Walsh, and a technician by the name of Cassandra Moreno. They were chosen by NASA to explore other galaxies after manned space travel was restored by the Republican President under the suggestion of the Republican-controlled House and Senate in 2014. Since then, NASA engineers decided to resurrect the Space Shuttle, but only to give it a new look and new engine to avoid such delays and disasters that happened in the 20th Century with the Challenger explosion in 1986 and in 2003 with the Columbia disaster.

One of the many reasons that they want to explore another planet is simple, they want to find another world to repopulate and claim in the name of the United States of America. This mission is a very crucial one in order to get the upper hand against China. China has been trying to one-up the US by launching it's own manned space program after the end of the shuttle program in 2011. But under President Sarah Palin, she decided to reinstate manned space travel to reestablish the US as number one in space travel. In addition to exploring the moon and other planets for new places to live, these new missions will also have the opportunity to recreate and repopulate dead planets as a new mission in case the Earth is destroyed. That, or they would establish colonies in these other words. Either way, it's part of the new manned space flight program.

"So, everyone all set for hibernation mode?" asked the captain to his crew. Everyone all agreed in unison. "Captain, how are you going to pilot the ship for ten years?" asked Prof. Walsh. "Easy, I have set the controls to auto-pilot so we can go to our destination at ease. By the time we land into whatever we end up, we should be set for repopulation and exploration" replied Capt. McAllen. "But captain, what would happen if something like a solar storm or meteorites hitting the ship?" asked Dr. Moreno. "The auto-pilot will take care of things, my friend." replied Capt. McAllen, "This ship was tested back in Cape Kennedy, it can withstand solar flares and meteorites." With their captain's reassurance about the auto-pilot, the crew members once again all in unison of an agreement. After checking in final preparations, the crew of four were ready for hibernation. The crew got in their hibernation capsules to take their 10-year sleep.

Now, we need to introduce ourselves to the crew of this mission. The leader, Captain Richard McAllen, was a graduate of Texas A&M, and was in the US Air Force, fighting in the War on Terror. He was chosen by NASA to lead the mission due to his experience. Professor Bradley Walsh, a graduate from the University of of Oklahoma, is one of the many African-Americans who ventured into space in NASA's rich history. Doctor Virginia Hawke, a graduate of the University of Phenix, was chosen for her experience in medical treatment in Afghanistan. And finally from Miami University, Doctor Cassandra Moreno, a Cuban-American scientist who left Castro's barbaric, Stalinist country of Cuba when she was a baby back in the late 20th Century to achieve top honors. Before they went in this mission, they had to learn about the basics and tools of the trade about space exploration. After all, it was their first time being in space. It's also NASA's 1st mission since the year 2011, when the Space Shuttle program was shut down. After Barack Obama was voted out of office during the election of 2012, the new president decided to revive manned space travel without the dependence on other countries like Russia, and in order to beat the Chinese into space once again, just like the Cold War era when the US took on Russia in the Space Race.

Now that all 4 crew members are in hibernation until they land somewhere in space, the ship is now piloted by auto-computer to who knows where they'll end up at. What they won't know, is that the fact that their lives will change forever. As the crew went in hibernation, the Liberty Bell was entering a hasty barrage of meteorites on the way. Some of the parts of the ship was hit by the small rocks. Then, the ship came across space junk. The auto-pilot dodged several chunks, but a few managed to hit the ship. Just as the ship and its passengers were home free, a wave from the stars was heading towards it. The powerful magnetic hold was too much for the ship to avoid, so it sucked it in. By the time the wave passed, it caused an electrical disturbance, interfering with the clock of the ship as well as other valuable electronic equipment.

The wave short circuited the clock to speed up the time for about 10 years. The ship was spiraling out of control, spinning around and around and around. Finally when the spinning stopped, the ship was heading towards a planet. The Auto-Pilot prepares the ship for emergency landing as it was entering the planet's atmosphere. The ship swooped passed a small town that seems to be empty, right passed a farm where apples are the main crop, and it crashed into a forrest near the town. The ship has hit several trees, not to mention, cutting some of them down with the wingspan. After the impact, the ship's emergency power supply was activated. The capsules that hold the astronauts in their hibernation modes opened up. All 4 astronauts woke up and got up, unaware of what has happened during their 10-year sleep.

This is where our story begins, they're about to find out that on this strange and alien planet, man is no longer the dominant species. They'll find out the hard way that the roles will going to be reversed on this planet. And they won't like what they'll see…

CHAPTER 1: Strangers in A Strange World

Capt. McAllen woke up, so did the other 3 members of the crew. "Oooohhhhh, what happened here…" said Capt. McAllen as he woke up. "Dr. Hawke? Prof. Walsh? Capt. Moreno? Is everyone hurt?" asked the pilot. "Just some minor cuts and bruises, nothing too serious to report, captain." said Dr. Hawke. "Damage report, professor" said Capt. McAllen, "Main power damaged on reentry into atmosphere, backup systems online, solar batteries powered and online." Prof. Walsh stated, checking the damage of the Liberty Bell. "How long for repairs?" Capt. McAllen asked, "When will we get the ship back in operation?"

"It could take weeks or months." said Prof. Walsh, as he took supplies out of the damaged ship. "Well now, we have to see if the air is toxic or not." Capt. McAllen told his crew. "Air quality has no signs of toxic material in the atmosphere, captain." said Dr. Hawke. "Very well, we don't need these helmets right now. I guess it's time to explore this strange land we're in." said Capt. McAllen. With food and supplies intact, the crew of the Liberty Bell set off to their trek to the strange land.

Days turned to nights, the crew explored the many colorful regions of the strange land, they noticed that the planet and its scenery was similar to their planet, Earth. "Hmmm, somehow, this planet looks like Earth somehow." said Capt. McAllen, as the crew sees trees, water, mountains, and other landscapes that resemble the landscapes of planet Earth. "Captain, does the landscape of this planet remind you of home?" asked Dr. Moreno. "Somewhat, doctor. I think I can see the resemblance in this planet." replied Capt. McAllen. Prof. Walsh takes out a American flag from his bag, as he planned to plant it on the ground.

"Well, looks like it's up to us to repopulate this planet and declare it in the name of the United States and Earth." said Prof. Walsh, "At least we beaten the Chinese to this planet. If it wasn't for our president, we wouldn't returned to manned space flight and the Chinese would gotten here first." Each day, the crew of the Liberty Bell walked and walked, until they decided to clean themselves after looking at a waterfall. "Look captain, there's a waterfall near that forest. Maybe we can clean ourselves up." pointed Dr. Hawke. "Well, I suppose we all need a nice clean bath after this walking." said Capt. McAllen, as the crew took a dive in the waterfall for a bath.

Unknown to the crew, their items and food rations are being ransacked by other beings. Since the crew were busy bathing in the waterfall, they didn't notice the thefts. After they got out, they see that some of their food rations were stolen and their stuff was taken, some left behind. "Captain, someone stole our rations and tools, most of the rations have been bitten as well." noticed Prof. Walsh, as he looked at his bag. Some of his tools were intact, while some were missing. Just then, Dr. Moreno noticed something. "Guys, look! Looks like we're not alone in this planet, I see human beings with our stuff!" she said. Capt. McAllen then replied, "I guess we ca follow them, but try not to startle them, we don't want to scare them."

With that, the crew followed the humans to what appears to be a farm. But to the strangers in this strange land, this place was familiar to the humans that reside in this planet. To those humans, this place is not any ordinary farm, but it is an apple farm. The name of the farm is known as Sweet Apple Acres. The humans began to climb up the trees to grab several apples from the trees. "Captain, it appears to me that these humans lack any form of verbal communication, but they are adapt to climb on these trees to get the apples." said Dr. Moreno. "Well, so this planet has the same landscape, and they have a farm similar to Earth? This is some good planet to repopulate." Capt. McAllen said. With that, the crew joined in on the feast by grabbing some apples of their own.

Unknown to the humans and the crew, they're being watched. Someone was looking at them grabbing the juicy apples from the apple trees. Something else was strange, it appears to be that a galloping noise was heard. "Captain, I heard some galloping noises coming in from the northwest." said Prof. Walsh with a concerned look on his face. "Who could be in this planet besides us and these humans, Professor?" asked Capt. McAllen, as he continued to eat the apples from the trees. After each bite of each apple, the humans tend to throw the apple cores away on the ground. However, one of the apple cores hit something, then, the galloping noise was heard again. "There's that noise again, Captain." said Prof. Walsh. "Must be your mind again, professor." said Capt. McAllen, as he continued to chew on his apples.

However at the course of their feast, they noticed something on the ground. "Look, I think I found some other signs of life on this planet." pointed Dr. Hawke, "It looks like a footprint to me." "I don't think it's a normal human footprint, doctor. I believe it is a hoofprint." Dr. Moreno replied to her colleague, "We don't know if that's the method of transportation or does this farm even own horses." That was the million dollar question the crew was wondering after they crash landed. "Do you believe that animals share this planet along with these humans?" asked Prof. Walsh. "I believe so, at least it isn't like those old science fiction movies that you see at 2 AM on TV." said Dr. Hawke. "Ladies, gentlemen, remain calm and finish your apples, we have a planet to repopulate and explore." Capt. McAllen told his crew, as they finish eating their food.

For years on Earth, man was the master of the Earth. Some say God created the Earth in 6 days, others have other theories that clash with that. Man has controlled animals ever since the first wild animal was domesticated. Some were used for work, others for food, even others were raised as companion animals and sporting animals. But soon,the crew will learn a lesson from the human inhabitants of this strange world. They will learn that man is no longer the dominant species in this strange new world. In this planet, it's run by the one animal that the crew didn't expect to find out…

CHAPTER 2-Friendship is Magic, So is Hunting and Enslaving Humans

The strange galloping noise was caused by an inhabitant of the strange planet. The strange being is described as a short young pony, commonly called a filly. The filly has a mane that's in a brilliant rose color, the coat in a pale olive, and its eyes were in brilliant orange. The filly also has a pink bow on her mane. The young filly has a name, Applebloom, and in her mouth was one of the bitten apple cores. "Dang it, it happened again! I gotta tell Applejack!" Applebloom said to herself, as she galloped to another location. She galloped all the way to a town, a town known to her kind as Ponyville. Yes, on this planet, the main inhabitants are ponies. Ponyville is like an average town back on Earth, there's a library, a sweets store, a boutique, a spa, a cafe, a joke shop, and other places of interest. However unlike the towns of Earth, it's populated by ponies instead of man.

Applebloom galloped and galloped to search for someone, until she finds the someone she was looking for, her older sister. Her name is Applejack, a pony bigger than Applebloom with a orange coat, blonde mane in ponytails, freckles on her face, and a cowboy hat. Also different from the little filly was the presence of a mark on her flank, known as a Cutie Mark. Her Cutie Mark is a set of three apples. Applejack is the owner, along with other members of her family known as the Apple family, of Sweet Apple Acres, the same apple farm that the humans and the crew were in. Today, Applejack was in town square selling her latest crop of apples that she bucked from the trees. Each season, Applejack participates in a activity known as Applebucking. Applebucking is a method of extracting apples from the apple trees by kicking the trees with the hind legs. After that, the apples fall in the buckets, ready to be sold.

But today, Applebloom came to her stand to tell Applejack about what has happened back at Sweet Apple Acres. "Applebloom! What in tarnation are you doin' here? Can't you see I'm tryin' to sell these apples so we can get Granny Smith a new hip?" asked the older sister. "Applejack, someone's been eatin' the apples again! i think it could be humans!" replied Applebloom. "DANG IT! This is the 8th time this month! Those dang humans are eatin' all of next season's crops! This has gone too far!" said Applejack, as she left her stand. "Come on, Applebloom, we gotta tell the others to go to the mayor! We have some humans to catch!" "You mean, another one?" asked the young filly. "That's right, Applebloom, time for another Human Hunt!" said Applejack with a wink. Applebloom smiled and thought to herself, "Maybe Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo can help me catch humans so we can get our Cutie Marks!" With a smile on her face, Applebloom followed Applejack to get other ponies to help organize a ritual where humans are hunted like wild animals.

In the library, a pony was reading several books. But unlike Applejack and Applebloom, she isn't an ordinary pony, but she is a unicorn. Her coat was in a purplish gray color, her eyes violet, and her mane was in dark blue, purple and pink. Since she's a unicorn, there's a horn on her head, and her Cutie mark was a pink-purple six-pointed star surrounded by five small white ones. The unicorn's name is Twilight Sparkle, and she came to Ponyville originally to check on the Summer Sun Celebration by her teacher, Princess Celestia. After several events that happened, the princess decided to let Twilight stay in Ponyville on a new mission-learn to make friends. Since that day, Twilight has been learning a lot about friendship over the days she's been in Ponyville. She is aided by an assistant, a male baby dragon with moderate sap green scales, chartreuse green eyes, and light purple skin with a greenish gray underbelly and light lime ears.

Spike knew Twilight after he was hatched from an egg during a entrance exam at Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Since that day, he stuck to her like glue. Today, he'll be involved in something hew grew accustomed to while he and Twilight were in Canterlot, the Human Hunts. He hears a knock on the door as he was sleeping. He yawned and got up to answer the door. "Um, who is it?" asked the baby dragon. "Spike, it's Applejack, we got a problem, and we need to talk to Twilight!" replied Applejack. "Twilight, Applejack wants to see you!" shouted Spike. "I'm on my way, let her in!" replied Twilight, as she galloped down from her bed. Spike lets both Applejack and Applebloom inside the library. Later, Applejack explains what has going on down at Sweet Apple Acres. "And then Applebloom saw humans eatin' my crops, along with 4 strange humans in funny clothes!" Applejack told her unicorn friend, "And we need to gather everypony in Ponyville to hunt the humans!"

"Humans at Sweet Apple Acres? And they're eating your crops?" Twilight asked, both Apple family members nodded. "Have you been in a human hunt before, Twilight?" asked Applejack. "Well, I've been in several, but I only captured about six humans and put them to work in the library back in Canterlot, but I mostly sit out in other Human Hunts." replied the unicorn. "But, since this will be my first Human Hunt with you guys, count me in!" Twilight nodded, as screams from other ponies were heard outside. Four other ponies, whom Twilight befriended during her time in Ponyville, rushed in the library. "Twilight! The waterfall was dirty when I had to bathe Angel and some baby ducks!" said a winged pony known as Fluttershy. Fluttershy is a shy, quiet pegasus pony with strong cyan eyes, a pink mane, and a pale amber yellow coat with her Cutie Mark being three pink-winged, purple bodied butterflies with blue antennae. Fluttershy has a great love for animals, with the exception of certain types.

"I even saw birds flying in fear earlier today, they told me that they heard a crash near the Everfree Forest!" Fluttershy added. "I saw a weird flying contraption today too!" another pegasus pony, Rainbow Dash, pointed out. Rainbow Dash oversees the weather of Ponyville, like other pegasus ponies (with the exception of Fluttershy.) Her mane was in a rainbow of colors-brilliant red an orange, light yellow, moderate violet and green and a strong cyan with a pale cyan coat and strong rose eyes. Her Cutie Mark was a rainbow-colored lightning bolt under a cloud. "I was clearing the skies for the Big Wagon Rally, when I heard and saw this strange flying contraption heading towards the Everfree Forest and BAM! It crashed!" explained the tomboyish pegasus. "Ugh! I saw dirty human clothing in my boutique again!" another unicorn, Rarity, walked in. Like Twilight, she is a unicorn, but she has azure eyes, her mane was indigo and purple to dark violet, and her coat is in light azure gray with three diamonds as her Cutie Mark.

"I was retrieving Opal from a tree near the boutique, when I smelt filthy human clothing discarded near the bushes! It appears to be seen that the humans raided my trashcan yet again!" shouted the fashion designer unicorn. "They were unclean animals! Their stench is the most foulest of the foul." "You guys talking about humans again?" A pony with a pink coat, a rose-magenta mane, blush cyan eyes, and a Cutie Mark with two blue balloons and a yellow balloon walked to the group. "Pinkie Pie, did you see some humans too?" asked Twilight. "Nope, just saw these strange crunchy sticks while I was taking Gummy for a walk!" the cheerful pony replied, "These taste like cookies, but need some frosting." The giddy pony took some stick foods that were used by astronauts, dipped them in chocolate frosting and ate them. "Yep, kinda dry, but frosting takes care of it!" Pinkie Pie said.

"Strange sticks that are edible, filthy clothing, dirty waterfall water, strange flying contraptions crashing, and apples being eaten. All of you are right!" Twilight concluded, "It was HUMANS!" "So, are we gonna go right into the mayor's office and tell her about the humans then?" asked Applejack. "Yes, follow me, girls, we're going to the mayor's office!” Twilight replied, as the ponies , Applebloom and Spie marched to the mayor's office, much to Spike's surprise. “I guess we aren't the only ones that saw humans invading their homes and such.” said Spike, as he saw a large crowd of ponies, fillies, foals, and colts gathered at the mayoral building with the same problem-humans invading their town. The mayor, overwhelmed by the turnout of every pony, begins to address her citizens.

“Fillies and gentlecolts, let me hear your concerns about the recent human sightings one at a time!” said the mayor. “My apple crops have been eaten again by the humans, Applebloom saw it!” said Applejack. “They leave their filthy clothes outside of Carousel Boutique!” shouted Rarity. “They used the waterfall and not letting the animals swim!” pleaded Fluttershy. “A strange flying contraption may have humans in it, and it crashed near the Everfree Forrest!” Rainbow Dash said. “They left crunchy sticks to eat!”said Pinkie Pie, the other ponies glared at her when she said that. “What? They're tasty with frosting!” Suddenly, a pegasus pony with a yellow-lime mane, bluish-gray coat, and amber eyes flying around with a mail-carrying bag and holding a muffin in her right hoof, her Cutie Mark are seven bubbles on her flank. “Um, I think I see some humans taking my muffins while I was making deliveries, but they left them behind when I came back!” the pegasus, Ditzy Do,said. “If Ditzy did see humans, then it's true. We have humans to capture!” the mayor shouted, all the ponies cheered and began to chant, “Human Hunt!”, in unison.

“Spike, take a note. We need some backup to help with this Human Hunt.” Twilight told Spike the following, “Dear Princess Celestia, I believe we have humans roaming Sweet Apple Acres for the 8th time in a row. Not only that, we got a strange flying contraption that crash-landed near the Everfree Forrest, it could be connected to the humans raiding Sweet Apple Acres. Please send some pegasus guards and equipment to hunt down the humans so we can put them to use as slaves or have other ways to control them. Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle.” With that, Spike wrote down what his friend dictated, wrapped up the letter into a scroll, and blew fire on it, sending it to the leader of this planet, Princess Celestia. The Princess is one of two princesses that rule the planet, this planet is known as Equestria. Along with her younger sister Princess Luna, Princess Celestia controlled the sun while Luna controls the moon. As it turns out, in Equestria,the use the humans as slaves or other uses.

Spike then saw a reply scroll hovering down, but he grabbed it. “I got the reply!” he shouted, opening the scroll. “My faithful student, gather your hunting party, the guards are on their way with cages and equipment. Bring them to town square, dead or alive. Some humans will stay at Ponyville, while others will be sent to Canterlot. I wish you good luck in your hunt. Your teacher, Princess Celestia.” Spike read. “It's settled then, LET THE HUNT BEGIN!” the mayor decreed, as a pony blew a trumpet to announce the hunt is on. Pegasus guards flew down with wagons filled with cages and hunting tools such as nets, ropes, and other capturing tools. Applebloom was galloping to meet her friends, two fillies like her without Cutie Marks: Scootaloo, a young pegasus pony, and Sweetie Belle, a young unicorn who is also the sister of Rarity. “Guess what? I was thinking of hunting humans of our own to get our Cutie Marks!” said Applebloom. “Cool, maybe that will finally let us have our marks!” agreed Scootaloo. “I don't know, hunting filthy human beasts to earn Cutie Marks? I find that disgusting and all, but if it can earn us a Cutie Mark, then I guess I'll go with it. said Sweetie Belle. With that, Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy take charge. The three young fillies, known as the Cutie Mark Crusaders, tagged along. The hunt is finally taking place.

Back at Sweet Apple Acres Capt. McAllen was monitoring the land to see any other lifeforms. “Well, nothing of the unusual so far. Looks like your fears of someone watching us is false, Prof. Walsh. Now you will accept the truth?” asked the captain. “Well, I guess I can agree with you on this one.” replied Prof. Walsh, as he grabbed another apple. As the crew continued to eat the sweet, juicy apples with the mute humans, they began to see the humans starting to flee. “What's going on, captain?” asked Dr. Moreno, as she saw the humans starting to get down from the trees. “Something's going up, I have to see this.” replied Capt. McAllen, as he looked at what's going on with binoculars. Much to his surprise and shock, the brave captain saw something unusual. “Oh my gosh... It can't be.” Prof. Walsh then asked, “What is it, captain?” He then said, “It's a stampede, only without riders.” “What do you mean, captain? A stampede without riders?” asked Dr. Hawke. She took a peek at the binoculars, and she saw the same thing. “Oh gosh, PONIES!” she shouted. That's right, the crew of the Liberty Bell saw the beings that rule this planet-Ponies.

Now the humans saw who rules the planet. Instead of man being the dominant species, ponies dominated man. Now, the crew must flee their new overlords with the mute humans. If any of them gets caught with those humans fleeing their hooved dominators, they would be either be trained as animals, put to work as slaves or worse. Now the humans and the crew of the Liberty Bell must do one thing while escaping the ponies, unicorns, and pegasuses chasing them-Survive!
