Every three days, Twisty Twirl drops off a letter at the Canterlot post office.

Because of the miles that separate them, Black Rain and Twisty Twirl have to communicate through a series of letters and grow their relationship and bond without any physical contact.

Every three months, Cloudsdale is blown by the northern winds up to Canterlot as it makes an orbit around Equestria.

As the two are forced to wait longer and longer to see each other physically, winter melts away and spring begins to bloom, until the day finally comes where the two are side-by-side. As hard as it may be to wait for that day, both know that if they're patient enough, it just might be worth it.
