Chapter 2: Prologue Middle

Radiant Tear cried to himself as the pod is going higher. He witnessed explosions, murders, and riots all over his home town before he got any higher. They all wanted to get into these space pods before the universe would end. He cried harder, wishing that his parent's death would be fast and painless. He wished he would be with them, to die along with everypony.
"Why does this have to happen? Why!?" He yelled in anger. He stomped on the floor and was about to break one of the machines. Something flashed behind him and he stopped himself. He looked behind him and sees a pink pony behind him. But she looked way different than anypony he's ever seen. She was a bit transparent. He walked up to her, questioning what this pony could be. A ghost? Some sort of magic this pod was giving? He couldn't understand. Her eyes quickly opened, startling him since all that was in her eyes were just blank white.
"Hello, I am A.I Pinkiana Version 1.2." something flashed from her eyes and laser line scanners ran up and down Radiant's body. The A.I gasped and wore an angry look. "What did you do to Dictator Manemare?"
"He sacrificed his life, letting me live instead of him. You have every right to be-" a bright light showered the small pod and Radiant Tear closed his eyes, not wanting to get blind from whatever caused the flash. As the light dimmed down, he looked out the glass screen of the pod.
The universe started to shape in many different forms. Radiant's eyes seem to be blinded by tears, realizing that it's now dying. He sees his home planet being torn apart by some scientific explanation that he could not ponder at the moment. He wailed as every happy moments flashed before his eyes. At that exact moment, the universe exploded. The force of the explosion sent the pod flying out of the boundaries of his galaxy, and soon the universe. His body flew into Cryopod 3 and it shut tight, keeping him safe from physical damages he would get being thrown around. He felt a sharp pain around his head and before he knew it, he fell asleep, leaving everything behind him.

Soon Radiant Tear opened his eyes, waking up inside a big room the size of a gym. There was a desk surrounded by educational supplies, a targeting hall, and entertainment stations. He questioned the environment. Soon, A.I Pinkiana appeared nearby.
"I looked into surveillance cameras and witnessed the scene before launch. It...was quite a sorrowful scene. So I decided to teach you all there is that was installed in the pod. You see, the scientists made a special hardware to store everything that we know. From science, math, literary arts, everything you can imagine. They want to preserve our knowledge that in case somepony dies during the journey to another world, that planet could install our hardware and teach our knowledge to them." Pinkiana explained to Radiant Tear. She smiled, "I will teach you as long as you put your mind and body to the task. We don't know how long this journey could be, but the pod is travelling between the speed of sound and light. So we have all the time in the wo-...well, you understand..."
Radiant Tear looked around his surroundings. He sees windows flashing memories of his childhood and quick flashes of his parents. He sees the scene where Manemare spoke to him in an unexpected kind voice. He can't let anypony down. He has to learn all there is that is now known to his species.
"Alright...I'll do it." Radiant wiped a tear from his eyes and wore a serious expression on his face. Pinkiana smiled and walked toward the desk.
"Let's begin."
15 years passed as he learned everything from A.I Pinkiana. All there is and all that's known. He learned to conduct his magic to protect himself. He learned magical theoretics, algebra, calculus, you name it. Now he tries to learn the last thing he doesn't want to learn, psychology. To some of you who don't know, psychology is the study of the mind.
"Okay, now for mental illnesses. There are many illnesses of the mind. There is schizophrenia, bipolar disease, megalomania, and other things we will be learning about." Pinkiana said, writing things on the chalkboard. Radiant Tear began to dwell in his mind, the memories he had when he was a child. He remembered looking out the windows and seeing other ponies play. He would try to go out, but only few ponies would play with him because they never understood alicorns. But it would be their parents that would drag his friends aw-
"Radiant! Pay attention...I don't want you to forget all that you learned throughout the time you had here." Pinkiana yelled.
"How can I? This is psychology, study of the mind. I don't want to learn what's lost." Radiant Tear said in a melancholic tone.
"You didn't lose your mind. You are inside it. It's where we've-"
"I know that. I thought you'd be smart enough to understand what it meant, seeing that we learned philosophy just two years ago." Radiant said bleakly. Pinkiana pondered for a moment and realized what he meant. His loss of everything. How he lost his parents and few friends that he had. Pinkiana walked up to him and tried giving a hug, but she passed through him. "I want it all back. I want to be with my parents, friends, all that are depending on me!"
"I know you do. But we'll be someplace other than this!" Pinkiana tried to calm him down.
"But how long until we get there?! How long?!?!" He screamed, kicking away at everything. "I'm in my mind...I'll be a prisoner of my own body for the duration of the trip! It could take decades, centuries, maybe for eternity!"
"Sleep!" Pinkiana said before a white flash blurred in Radiant's vision. He tried resisting to whatever was grabbing him as he was being induced into sleep. As he fell on the ground, Pinkiana started tearing. "I'm so sorry..."
