Poke pony

I woke up in my bed, trying to remember why I was up so early. I suddenly remembered that today was the day I got my first pokemon. I leaped out of bed and looked at the poster of the 3 starter pokemon on my wall, Oshawatt, Snivy, and Tepig, I sighed and got ready to go out. I heard my mom call

“Jacob, it’s time for breakfast” I flew down the stairs, taking them 2 at a time, before sitting down at the table,

“now Jacob, you eat your breakfast before you go” I sighed

“yes mom” in monotone. It was her turn to sigh as I inhaled my food and ran out the door, yelling behind me

“Bye mom!”. I ran through the city until I came to a lab, I walked in the automatic doors and marveled at all the machines in the lab. I was still marveling at the machines when a professor walked up to me and spoke

“hello Jacob, please follow me” and he began walking, I followed him down several turns, until we found ourselves in a big chamber. There was a circular device in the center, it’s top rose to reveal 3 regular poke-balls around the rim, all open and empty, and one in a glass case at the center, the one in the center was rainbow-colored and shiny, it also seemed to be glittering with an unknown light. my heart dropped into my stomach with dissapointment and i gave the professor my best puppydog pout.

My pout seemed to be working, he kept glancing over at my puppydog pout as he walked over to another scientist and they started debating, rather loudly, about the oddly glowing pokeball, every once and a while they would look over at me, still puppydog pouting at them and return to their debate. The professor seemed to wear down the other scientist when the other scientist gave a sigh of defeat and said rather loudly

"fine, go ahead, it may be a good opportunity to test it anyways". the professor walked back to me

"would you like to try out our newest kind of pokeball?" I was bouncing again

sure!" my smile grew huge as he opened the glass center and took the pokeball out. He walked over to me and handed me the pokeball.

"I'll come with you to see the first effects of the pokemon" i pretty much ignored all the following warnings about the pokemon.

I ran off toward the exit of the building, only to be stopped by the annoying grandson of the professor. He looks at me and somehow knows that I now have a pokemon

"hey, lets battle to test out our new pokemon" he didn't even wait for a response before throwing out his pokemon

"let's go Tepig" and he threw out his pokemon. Tepig appeared from out of it's pokeball,

"well, a battle would be a good way to test the pokemon out, send her out, her name is Tranforus" the professor sighed

"Go Transforus" and I threw the pokeball, a strange pokemon appeared, it looked like a jumble of random animals, such as the tail of a snake, the head of a pony and an antler from a deer, and that's just at a glance.

"tranforus, use tackle" it looked at me weird and spoke

"and why should i do that?" it caused me and the professor to almost jump out of my skin

"y-you can talk?!" I was the first to recover from the shock, the professor's nephew apparently didn't hear him and yelled

"Tepig, tackle!" and Tepig tackled Transforus.

Transforus glared at the pokemon

"oo, bacon" and the Tepig, apparently understanding what he said, ran over to the nephew and hid behind his legs, the nephew began calling Tepig a coward for running away, he didn't see the look on transfomous's face, it looked like he was really planning to reach down and eat the Tepig. I kept thinking that the nephew was a complete moron as he kept trying to get Tepig to go back and fight. Transforus turns to me

"now, what to do to you" this thing scared me, I thought of all the pokemon I knew, and I couldn't remember this thing at all.

"professor, I don't think this things a pokemon"

"oh come now, this thing, call me discord" it responded, in a surprisingly cheerful tone "now, what to do with you"

he seemed to be pondering

"I know," he suddenly blurted out "I'll do the worst thing I can to you"

and he floated over and tapped me on the head, my vision began to blur together and I felt smaller, then I felt a pain in my face, as though something had kicked me and I flew backwards into a wall, and only saw darkness.

I woke up in a forest, much closer to the ground than I should be. I got up and examined myself, I nearly fainted again when I realized I had brown fur, short legs, and an outstandingly poofy tail I instantly thought NO! AM I AN EEVEE?

"dammit" eevee was my least favorite pokemon, it looked and acted weak. i sighed mentally

"I'd better get going and find out where I am." I got up and started walking around. I heard a growl and decided to move faster. I reached a little hut at the edge of a forest, there were a lot of sounds coming from it, all of them animal. I was hurt and tired from tripping over my own legs and running into things I usually would have missed man, it's hard being short and not knowing how to walk I thought, I was able to hear one voice among the animal sounds

"now, angel, you need to take your medicine so you can get better" it was a kind voice, full of sympathy, I found myself inexplicably drawn toward it. I walked up to the door and pushed, they opened easily and I saw a bright-yellow pink-maned pony, my jaw dropped as it spoke

"now angel" I realized she was talking to a bunny, the bunny seemed to be pouting and it had it's foot in a cast, she seemed to be trying to make it take medicine

"you need to take medicine to get better" the bunny turned further away in a somehow pointed manner. I couldn't help but side with the yellow pony, the rabbit had it's foot in a cast and she seemed to be trying to make it better.

"angel, be reasonable" I walked over and said

"you really do need to take medicine to get better" oh lord, even my voice is cute the pony squeaked and hid very quickly maybe i shouldn't have said anything... but this means that she can understand me

"w-who's there" she squeaked I walked up and nuzzled her, before realizing it was an animal

"oh, you scared me" her voice was softer than velvet

"oh my, your hurt" and she proceeded to apply bandages to all the cuts and scrapes I had from going through the wrong kinds of bushes and tripping over myself

"thank you, my name's Thylus, what's yours" I said when she was done, momentarily forgetting what i was, she squeaked and hid again.

I barely heard her say "f-fluttershy" I walked over to her

"why are you scared, I won't hurt you" she seemed to edge out of her hiding spot a little before saying

"wh-what are you, you're not any animal I know"

"i'm an eevee,  kind of pokemon, rather common where I come from".

"w-where do you come from?" she asked

I responded simply "the Unova region"

"w-where's that" she edged out a little more, and I spent the next hour or so describing my home to this pony.
