The week flew past the two pegasi in a blur of fun, laughs, and love. Twilight had found and rescued a strange stallion by the name of Naga from the everfree forest but after a small mishap in the library she decided to leave them alone preferring the company of her new buckfrend. the two pegasi reveled in the others company doing nearly everything together unable to stay parted for more than a few minutes.

The day came when Soarin had to return to Wonderbolts HQ in order to prepare for the next show. unable to think of spending an extended period of time without his mare he sent word to Spitfire that he would be inducting Rainbow Dash as a new member of the Bolts. She knew that it would be met with some resistance but that the team would warm up to her after a quick demonstration of her skills.

Dash was ecstatic, she nearly killed the pair of them tackling Soarin off the cloud they were on barely managing to fly before they hit the ground. They took a train ride to Canterlot in order to spend some "alone" time together. The train pulled into the station with a grinding squeal, the pair trotted out and hailed a cab. On the way Dash fell asleep on Soarin's shoulder snoring softly. 'how did I ever live without her, imagining a life without her is like imagining a world without happiness or sunshine', Soarin thought to himself.

The cab pulled up to the enormous estate the Wonder Bolts used as a base of operations and training facility. He payed the cabby and reluctantly woke Dash up. "Up and at em" he whispered to her, she stared up at him magenta eyes looking sleepily into his and smiling. Had anypony other than him had woken her she would have taken their head off, but this was Soarin her buckfriend and lover stallion.

They trotted up to the large doors and Soarin pressed a small button and spoke into it "hea Joey let us in will ya?". a mechanical clank and a few clicks later the large embroidered door swung inward.

"Long time since I've seem this place" Dash said dreamily.

"Wait you've been here before?" Soarin asked.

"Yes when my parents were killed the old captain adopted me and raised me. That's part of why I aspired to become one, to honor him." She said holding back tears. Soarin put a hoof around her shoulder and held her tightly nuzzling her mane. The two flew through the massive rec-room and out to the practice field.

"Hea Soarin, Rainbow Dash over here!" a flame colored pegasus called waving a hoof excitedly. They went over to where Spitfire was beckoning. As they approached a group of pegasi came over and greeted them. After introductions that were completely unnecessary seeing as how Dash already knew every members name by heart she readied herself to show them her stuff.

"Aright lets see what ya got kid" Spitfire said then with an authoritative voice shouted "begin!" Dash took to the air leaving a trail of color behind her. She began to recite the routine she and Soarin had prepared on the train ride. She expertly preformed some of the wonderbolts more complicated maneuvers and a few of her own invention.

Halfway through she began to feel dizzy but pushed on not wanting to blow her chance with her idols. But as she reached the top of a loop spots swam before her eyes and she blacked out. Soarin realizing she was in danger instantly jumped up and flew up after her. He caught her about halfway to the ground and proceeded to glide down to the set of doors on the other side of the field.

A few minutes later in the Bolts personal medical room an exhausted Dash was leaning back in a hospital bed while Soarin held her hoof. Spitfire and a brown pegasus wearing a trench coat came into the room, handing Dash a bottle of water and a bottle of pills he smiled. "Well is she ok?" Soarin asked worried.

"As a fiddle" the strange foreign sounding pony said.

"then what happened out there to me? I've done those tricks about Mff..." Dash said as he shoved a piece of candy into her mouth.

"Jelly baby," the odd stallion said "great for the nerves and as for your fainting" he waved a small device over her and it glowed a slight green making an odd whirring sound then looking at it " just as I thought, your pregnant! Congratulations!" The sweet chew-able candy fell out of her agape mouth. Ignoring her he proceeded "those are vitamins they'll help with the morning sickness and give the b-filly all the nutrients to be healthy" he then put another Jelly baby into her mouth and shut it repeating the process with Soarin.

As the pair chewed their treats in stunned silence Spitfire chimed in with "even though you passed out the team was impressed by your moves and we decided that after the little one comes along you will be inducted as a part of the team, welcome aboard!" The Dr. as he called himself and Spitfire said goodbye and left the pair to discuss the recent events.

Dash looked over at Soarin with huge eyes and squealed "I'm gonna be a mother,oh soarin were gonna have a filly!"

Soarin looked into her eyes end said "yes, yes we are and I was gonna ask you later but now seems like the perfect moment to ask, Dash" he got down on his knees and pulled out a band, "will you marry me?"

"Do you even need to ask?" Rainbow Dash said and pulled him in for a big kiss "I love you Soarin"

"And I love you Dashie" he purred. and together they sat kissing each other not a single thought of worry in their heads, because if this wasn't love than they didn't want a part of it. Some ponies might say they rushed into thing but thats what they do, rush in and make the best of it, and they did.
