It seems that since time immemorial the changelings have been an ever present but unrecorded fixture in Equestria. This is the story of one who finally chose to set their story, and their part in some of the most momentous events in history, down in writing, losing everything he ever loved to do so.

In the first section, an eventual ten chapters worth, I mean to introduce our chronicler, the hive into which he was naively thrust and the queen of the changelings herself, and it's more than vanity which drives her to seek to secure his services.

In the second section, certain events of about a thousand years ago will be fleshed out from a different viewpoint.

The third part is about legacy.

It's my intent to intersperse smaller stories of the changeling's exploits between the main sections.

The first ten chapters will be weekly, with a likely pause thereafter and chapters more in the twice a month range thereafter, all assuming the entrapment of some reasonable number of readers.

This is meant to be the same characterization of Chrysalis from my Fluttervalley Reborn fic, though it's suppositions are only likely to come up in the last chapter, so it's not greatly relevant right off.
