6 Months Later...

Twilight Sparkle flinched as the heavy metal door slammed shut behind her. The guard pony made a little grunt directing her ahead into the intimidating and dreary prison. Creepy and dirty stallions put their hooves up to their barred doors and leered at her. As she followed the guard down the hallway of bars, he stopped and turned to slide a key into a particular inmate's door. This caused the collar he was wearing to electrify and the stallion grunted in pain.

Twilight scowled at the guard with disapproval, wondering what the inmate did to deserve that. She soon realized as she saw him , despite the pain, masturbating furiously as he stared at her with desperate lust.

"Sorry about that." The guard apologized. "Many of these stallions have not seen a mare in decades."

"Oh..." she nodded as she looked at the stallion who was not letting anything stop him from busting his nut while he could take in the sight of her.

"What did he do to end up in here?" She asked.

"He raped and killed a little filly". The guard replied.

She looked at the guard with disappointment. "Isn't there a special place for ponies like that?"

"Nope", the keyholder shook his head. "There is only one prison in Equestria that all ponies go to, crime just isn't common enough to warrant separating the minor criminals from the insane."

She still wasn't sure which of those she considered the pony she was here to visit. She thought.

As she got past the creepy inmate she kept her tail tucked in between her legs. She didn't want to let the prisoner get any better a look at her. Most of the other inmates were a lot more respectful, but still stared at her face and behind with starved longing.

Eventually the guard motioned to his left to indicate to the unicorn that they had arrived. Twilight gulped as she felt butterflies fluttering in her stomach. It had been so long since she saw her friend and was very excited to see her. But tried to keep an aloof manner, not wanting Fluttershy to think that her time in jail automatically made things right between them.

Fluttershy was staring at the cold grey concrete floor and drawing patterns in the thick layer of dust. It made her normally bright yellow coat and pink mane look dull and tinted brown. She looked up, always curious about every visitor or new inmate that passed her cell. But this one had stopped in front of her cell.

"Oh my gosh!" She squeaked with excitement at seeing her purple maned friend. "Twilight, what a surprise!"

The pegasus quickly dusted herself off with her wings, suddenly showing concern about how she appeared in front of one of the few ponies that she considered her best friend. The cloud of dust the pegasus made was nearly thick enough to make the guard sneeze as they approached.

"Hi Fluttershy..., How are you?" Twilight asked suppressing her urge to jump and hug the still adorable pegasus through the bars.

Fluttershy found the cold and unsympathetic greeting hard to cope with as tears welled up in her eyes. She had felt like the one who was more justified to be the one who was angry after the way Twilight had treated her since the incident with Redblood. Fluttershy's trial was terrifying for her, more than her toughest days as a willing slave. As one by one all her friends turned on her and Twilight Sparkle actually led the prosecution against her. Everypony tended to just get angrier and unforgiving as the shock of the whole situation passed and everypony in town demanded that she be punished.

Rainbow Dash was the only pony who argued she should be let off for her actions lightly. While Celestia, although sympathetic toward her decided that she had no right to interfere in whatever the majority of Ponyville decided was an appropriate punishment since she was in many way was responsible for the mess she was in and felt guilty that she didn't put a stop to it when it started having dire consequences on the well-being of the whole town. Pinkie Pie didn't even show up to her trial and she dreaded to wonder why.

Fluttershy wanted to yell at Twilight for getting her put in prison, but couldn't get the emotion she wanted out. Instead she just made a soft squeak.

"Not good" The pegasus frowned. "I've been so lonely." She complained as she managed to give Twilight a scowl. That was the worst part of her punishment, that she wasn't even allowed visitors and even her interaction with other prisoners was limited. The guards told her it was to protect her from the stallions that would lack self control around a pretty mare.

Twilight nodded sadly. "I know Fluttershy, that sentence was too much I agree."

When Fluttershy's sentence was called out at the trial Twilight was shocked. She was to spend a full year in jail and not have any visitors for half that time.

"But now you can have visitors!" Twilight exclaimed. Betraying a bit of her own excitement.

"Well okay then" Fluttershy sighed. "It will be nice to see you all again, how has everypony been?" She asked.

Twilight had taken mental notes before she headed to Canterlot wanting to fill Fluttershy in on everything. She decided to start with the most important change first.

"Well most ponies haven't changed too much, but Sweetie Belle has moved to Manehatten with her parents and Rarity has resumed her job in Ponyville..." Twilight started to explain.

"Um... is Sweetie Belle ok?" Fluttershy asked with concern.

Twilight nodded. "She's doing all right, ever since she got her cutie mark she has become a rising star among fillies in the singing scene. She's going to a big performance in a few weeks in fact, where she's going to compete to be the best junior singer in Equestria."

"Well that's nice." Fluttershy smiled happy for her.

"On the other hand..." Twilight continued. "She has sworn to never speak to her sister again and it's making Rarity quite sad."

"Oh I'm so sorry" Fluttershy apologized, knowing that Rarity sacrificed a lot for her.

"Rarity is happier in general however" Twilight explained. "She now provides her new business in Ponyville without shame or secrecy." Twilight blushed as she made a whispered confession. "She even helped me open up a bit more."

"Yay" Fluttershy replied happy for her. "Um... mind if I ask about..."

"Redblood?" Twilight finished for her.

"Yes..." the pegasus nodded with a blush of her own.

"Well he had his trial after yours, but got off a lot more lightly since he was only considered an accomplice to you. He has been doing community service at Applejack's farm, she decided to let him earn her forgiveness and be useful rather than sit around in jail."

"I'm happy to hear that" Fluttershy nodded. "What about my animals?"

"They are doing well." Twilight smiled. "Redblood has taken residence in your cottage and has been looking after them for you. He wanted me to tell you he will always love you and is going to wait for you."

Fluttershy blushed and smiled. "I... I wonder if we'll be allowed to..." She cut herself off after realizing her thought was coming out loud. Twilight giggled knowing exactly what she was going to say.

"..."

"..."

"How is everypony else doing?" Fluttershy asked after a bit of awkward silence.

"Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie are excited to see you again and are planning the biggest party Ponyville has ever seen when you return in another 6 months."

"Oh... so everypony forgives me..." Fluttershy asked.

"For the most part." Twilight nodded.

"Do you forgive me, Twilight?" Fluttershy asked with wide hopeful eyes.

Twilight grinned and trotted up as close to the bars as she could and put her front hooves in between the bars. "Give me a hug Fluttershy."

The pegasus jumped into her arms with excitement and hugged her as best she could through the bars.

"Eeeek!" The yellow pony shrieked suddenly as she fell backwards in pain. It took a few moments for Twilight to realize that the guard had put his special key into her lock causing her collar to shock her like it did the rapist pony before.

"Was that necessary!?" Twilight growled at the guard.

"Prisoners are not allowed to touch visitors." He responded matter of factly.

"Oh for Celestia's sake, she's not going to hurt me!" Twilight yelled at him.

"Rules are rules." He argued.

"It's okay Twilight, I should have known, it's my fault." Fluttershy conceded.

"No, you've suffered enough to earn a hug, Fluttershy. I for one don't think you belong here anymore." Twilight encouraged.

"Thank you Twilight, it means a lot for me to hear that." Fluttershy smiled warmly.

"I'm going to see what I can do to get you out sooner" Twilight promised.

"Thank you Twilight, are you going to ask Celestia?" Fluttershy asked, although she couldn't imagine any other pony that could make a difference.

"Oh Celes..." She started to scoff out of instinct. "Oh no way, I'm not her student any more!" The unicorn raised her chin in disgust.

"Huh... Why?" Fluttershy wondered.

"I've lost all respect for her, she may be our ruler, but she can't force me to study under her."

"Oh no..." Fluttershy worried that she ruined her friend's tutorlidge under the most powerful pony in Equestria.

"It's okay Fluttershy, Princess Luna herself was kind enough to resume my training."

Fluttershy's eyes went wide open with surprise, she wasn't sure how to take that. Luna still scared her a bit since she was Nightmare Moon.

"Um... well I suppose that's okay then" The pegasus responded unsure.

Twilight went to put her hoof up to the cage to give her friend a hoof bump. But remembered that it would cost her another shock. She sighed and decided it was time to leave. As she backed away from the cell she gave Fluttershy a few more words.

"Redblood is visiting tomorrow. I'm going to go and talk to the warden about giving you an exception so you two can be intimate." Twilight encouraged.

"Oh my gosh" Fluttershy gushed. "Thank you so much."

Fluttershy smiled and started pacing her cell in excitement. She was happy that she wasn't hated any more. Six months felt like an eternity to sit around wondering about that.

"Worth it" She whispered to herself.
