Psycho Sisters Origin
Chapter 3: Chapter 2: A new family
Previous ChapterIt had been a while now about a year and a half. Their lives had been quite peaceful and happy. Now though as he paced back in forth in the Ponyville hospital it was all about to change. He was nervous. He kept looking at the clock on the wall. Only two minutes had passed since he had last looked at the clock. Every seconded felt like days. He looked towards the doors. Nothing. His mare was due any time now. He knew he needed to get a grip, so he tried to calm his self down. He knew that if he could get his mind off the clock the news of his new foal would be there before he knew it.
He decided to occupy his mind with thoughts about his new foal. He started to wonder what it would be. A filly or a colt. If he got a colt he was hoping that maybe he would be able to join him in the construction. If he got a unicorn like him maybe it would be a good magic user. There was of course a chance it would be a earth pony like his mom. Then he started to wonder what it would be like if he got a filly. She would be cute. It would be great if she could be a construction pony like him as well. If she turned out to be a good magic user he might be able to get her into Canterlot and into magic kindergarten. He didn't care though, he would love his new foal no matter what. He would raise it right and be there as much as possible to watch every new experience he or she would go through. The thinking passed the time, but not enough. He looked at the clock again, and fifteen minutes had passed now. He wanted to see his new foal so much. He wanted hold his foal and play with his foal. He had been waiting so long since they day his wife told him she was expecting. Now the time was here, but his foal was not. It was like he or she was already playing with him. A game to see how long he would last before the foal ran out and yelled "Surprise!".
The door suddenly opened. He looked at excitedly expecting a the nurse pony to give him the news. He was about to gallop towards it when he saw it was only a pony cleaning the floor. The waiting game continued. He looked at a magazine. If he reads something maybe that will be enough. He sat on stool in the waiting room and looked at the reading material that was on a table. Most of it was old stuff from months and even years ago. A new looking magazine glowed in as he choose to see what, if anything, it had to could keep his interest and pass the time. He turned the pages and did not see anything interesting. He mainly looked at the pictures and just skimmed through the articles. The wasted another five minutes. He decided to that with all of the reading material even the little pamphlets that were in the stand. He had just about finished reading pamphlet called "Taking care of your feathers for Pegasus" when the door opened again. This time it was the nurse and she looked at him. He didn't have to wait for her to say a word he already knew what she was going to say as he got up and trotted to her as she lead him to his new family.
"There they are sir, your new twin fillies." said the nurse pony.
He looked at them and was happy a brand new fill...
"TWINS!?!?!?!" he exclaimed!
The nurse shook her head.
He couldn't believe it never in his wildest dreams did he ever image having twin fillies. He was ready for a new foal, but the news of twins put his mind into overdrive. A huge smile came across his face. He was just so happy now. He made sure it was okay first before he went to see his mare. She was resting in the hospital room. She was awake, but very tired looking. This was to be expected of course after just giving birth to twins. He went up to her and nuzzled her. She smiled back at him. They were both tired but the birth of their new foals was giving them enough energy to keep them from falling asleep right there.
They both took more after their mom than their dad since they were both earth ponies. She and him both had ideas on what to name their new foals, but neither of them like the names they came up with. He finally decided to combine some of her ideas with his. He gave the fillies the names of Summer Song and Whirly Sprinkles. She like them and agreed. Summer Song had a dark blue coat and a two-tone green mane and tail. Her eyes were about the same shade of blue as her coat. Whirly Sprinkles had a grey coat and a two-tone purple mane. Her eyes were a deep shade of red. It was a uncommon eye color, but they are what made her special. The parents learned quickly their fillies likes and wants. Summer Song leaned toward her mom more. Every time she cried her father couldn't quiet her down, but as soon as her mom came around she would stop. It was vice-versa with Whirly Sprinkles though. Her mom couldn't quiet her down, but as soon as her father came around she would stop her fuss or crying. She was clearly a daddies filly. The sister also seemed to bond with each other from the start. They always were together. Whenever played or got into trouble you could always find them together. Whirly Sprinkles seemed to almost watch her sister like a protector.
The days turned into months and the sister grew up fast. They learned took their first steps, and learned their first words pretty quickly. Summer Song's first word was mommy while Whirly Sprinkles's was daddy. The parents saw that coming. The fillies grew up seemingly quickly and before long they were almost ready for school
