What I saw was a bright rainbow air stream, like what you see after a jet flies by. But what was strange was that it was giving off its own light! How could I of not even noticed it before. I then realized the park was lightly glowing with color, and the pond had a distinct reflection of the rainbow fading into the nightsky. I looked down and realized I was trembling. I closed my eyes, thinking that I was dreaming because I mean really, this defies physics in everyway. I looked back up and saw more to it than before. At what appeared to be the start of the rainbow, was a slight area in which the light was bendind twisting in strange ways, a bit like when you look at yourself in one of the funhouse mirrors. I then thought, What could possibly of done this? Is a black hole forming nearby and this is what happens when light is sucked in? Or is it a wormhole and something from across the universe was literally teleported here?

But then I thought back to the incredibly loud sound that had woken me from my sleep. It was the sound of a sonic boom but this one sounded closer than what I saw in the sky. I then thought a little 4th dimensionally  and pondered that maybe this is what happens when you break the light barrier.But what could've possibly reached light speed when it was only within 10 decades that we broke the sound barrier.  

I then noticed that an object was slowly appearing out of the "wormhole" lets say. A very faint light was glimmering down with it. The object was round and looked to be slightly moving downwards. The light then went completely out and the object started to fall faster. As this was happening, the rainbow began to wane. What is this, some crazy government experiment? Oh God, I might get arrested for witnessing this! But then I thought there was no way the government would perform tests over a large city like this. Who else has seen this? That question stuck out the most. What is this some sick, twisted joke?

Back to the falling object. The rainbow was now completely gone. I then saw what the object was; a hot air balloon. But then it appeared to be gaining even more momentum. It was going to crash!

A cloud of purple the surrounded the balloon and it slowly lost speed and was then set lightly on the ground. I stood speechless. I didn't know how to react at all. Not only had there been a rainbow that produced its own light but a hot air balloon just came out of a wormhole and landed right in front of my eyes.

I felt I needed run away but something kept me from doing so; curiosity I suppose. I decided I would get a little bit closer but I thought I had to be extremely cautious. I got within 25 feet of the balloon and climbed a tree to get a clear view and not be as noticible as someone just standing there. What I saw next I didn't expect.

From out of the hot air balloon, jumped the cartoon versions of Twilight Sparkle and Applejack. My eyes got wider. They looked more detailed than those on the show, like the fanart you see on deviantart.

"Aw shoot sugarcube, looks like your spell backfired."

"Dang it!" the purple mare said, "I thought I had all my calculations correct."

"Well you'll figure it out eventually but we still have a few big problems here."

I struggled to listen harder but as I moved, the tree began to shake and I heard a few snaps and cracks.I got real still and hoped the hadn't of noticed me; at least not yet anyway. luckily they didn't notice and carried on their conversation and I let out a sigh of relief.

"Do you see where she went?"

"No we were still in the portal when she broke through," Twilight paused, "I hope she's okay."

"Sure she is! You're forgetting who we're talking about!"

"I know but I can't help but worry about her. I mean look at us,we don't even know where we are. Everything is so different here."

AJ sneezed, "Come to mention it, even it smells funny here."

"Yeah it almost hurts to even breath."

Twilight turned to the balloon basket and peered inside.

"How's Fluttershy?"

"She's alright, she's only fainted. Celestia knows how long she will sleep."

Just then, the branch I was sitting on let out a huge crack and I toppled into the bushes below.
