“Don’t cry, pink one.”

The little filly sat up and looked at the stranger through teary eyes. “But I’m super duper lost!”

The old mare smiled gently and reached down to pat the filly on the head. “How can you be lost if you don’t know where you’re going?”

The filly just sniffled.

“Come with me,” the mare continued “I’ll make sure you end up where you’re going.”

The filly smiled through her still watery eyes. “But how do you know where I’m going? Who are you?”

“Pinkie,” the mare replied with her own smile, “you can call me, Granny.”
