No matter how many times it happens, loss never gets any easier for anypony. In fact, it is something that only grows harder to deal with. The few unfortunate souls that experience it often grow distant. They to protect themselves from the pain by layering detachment atop their fragile hearts.

Fewer still are the ones that can provide a real comfort to the afflicted. Everypony can say that they’re sorry for a ponies loss and wish them the best. Only a few, though, can really make a difference. With simple words like: “You’re not alone.” and “We’re here for you.”
