Plasma Burst Equestria: Forward to the Past
Chapter 1
“Hurry the buck up soldier!! They are coming down on us hard and fast!!!” my Captain shouted. We were in Hiza, a main defensive city in Operation No Mercy. This operation was in the middle of the desert so in my opinion, I found it relatively hard to see, due to sandstorms and other desert weather conditions.
“Sir, the Sergeant is in ready position sir!!” I told my Captain. Looking through my scope, I could see quite a few Geomanians rushing towards our position.
“Hold your fire until you can see the whites of their eyes!!” I heard my Captain say. Of course in the desert, there was a dust storm right in the battleground. I turned my ATSE(All Terrain Sights Enhancement) on and synced it to my LRAR42(Long Range Assault Rifle 42) to get a better look at what was coming towards us. I waited for about ten seconds after my Captain told me to fire when I saw their eyes, then an explosion went off, sending me against the wall. I retook my position and noticed they had gained a lot of ground on us, so I started firing. This set off a chain reaction in all three of our squads. They all started firing, killing Geos (short for Geomanians) left and right. When the Geos got to a halt and started firing, that’s when things started to crumble.
Another explosion went off on the floor underneath me, and I fell through. I looked around for a second or two and saw remains of the floor above all around me. Whatever caused the explosion, it made the whole upper floor crumble like a cookie. After I got up, I took a look at what was causing these explosions, it was a tank. I saw its 130mm gun pointed straight at us.
“Sir! The Captains down!” I heard a private say.
“Get a medic and I’ll take your position”, but before I finished my sentence, his head exploded.
“Dangit!!!, Private Plyers!” I called the private.
“Sir?” he asked.
“Get down first!!” I shouted. “We are in a pretty bad firefight right now and we are outnumbered!! Now when you hear a pause in firing, I want you to rush to the captain!! I’ll cover you!!” I shouted.
He said, “Yes sir!!”
I heard bullets ringing and bouncing of the walls in our little defensive house, and when it stopped, I saw the Private run to our Captains aid. That’s when I fired at the Geos, killing at least ten.
“Private Plyers!! Have you got him?!!” I yelled.
“Sir, yes Sir!!!” he yelled back.
“Alright, we need to fall back into town to get a better defense!! Fall Back!!!” I yelled, ordering all three squads to fall back. I made sure to keep them safe by giving them covering fire. When I was sure that they were all out, I saw one more soldier.
“Sir!! Go on without me!!” he yelled. “No, a good pony never leaves another behind!” I yelled at him. I galloped towards his body and put him on my back, and galloped out of the house. I felt a sharp pain in my flank as I was galloping out, assuming it was a bullet. I ran into a new house where I found one of the three squads and the Captain.
“Where are the other two squads?” I asked.
“Sir, they took cover throughout the whole house, sir,” a private told me. I set the Injured private down on a bed and galloped up the stairs. Upstairs I found the other two squads.
“Ok, listen up ponies. We got a tank and quite a few infantry heading into the town. Reinforcements will arrive in approximately ten minutes. Now those guys out there are legitimate soldiers, meaning that they aren’t the ones we fought in Bucksbourgh. Those were the local militia, but these guys are trained and know how to use their weapons. So what we are going to do is take the snipers and put them on the roof while the rifle ponies and engineer ponies stick to the walls. Melee them when they get inside. You ghosts are going to use your G blades to melee them without them knowing what hit ‘em.”
After I explained the plan to every pony else, I took my position right by the entrance. I crouched low so if a geo actually blind fired beside the door, I wouldn’t get hit. I saw a geo walk through the door. I galloped up and buck kicked him as hard as I could. He was dead, I saw blood running down the floor and I scooted him out of the way. I issued an order to the snipers via ATCS(All Terrain Communicative System) to start picking off the geos. I saw a geo fall to the ground (which alerted other geos), and I grabbed my LRAR42. I saw another geo fall to the ground but not by bullet, I saw a huge gash in his hide. I knew what it was and issued a new order to the ghosts.
“Keep taking them out ponies, your getting them good.” I ordered.
I saw a juggernaut geo step into the house, and I buck kicked him as well, but to my disadvantage, his armor was too heavy for that kind of attack. So I galloped with my LRAR42 out of his way and into the staircase. He had a shotgun with a flamethrower attached, how wonderful. He took his shot with the shotgun and did his damaged with the flamethrower as well.
“Yu Tampre’ vie!!!”(Your too weak for me!!!) he shouted.
“Yu wien ot yu lashdi”(Your out of your league) I yelled back.
I took my shot through his visor, killing him instantly. Unfortunately another geo came in, holding an Avren (Geomanian for avenger). It was a rapid fire sniper rifle that could be used as a machine gun and its original purpose. He shot my hoof and I cried “Hugh!!” I took another shot using a three round burst on my LRAR42. All three shots hit his chest, he dropped onto one hoof. I galloped towards him with a G knife and shoved it through his mouth (which was closed) and pulled it upward, slicing his head nearly in half. I limped as fast as I could towards the staircase again. And tried to limp up the stairs. I saw a geo coming at me up the staircase from behind and then his head exploded, sending chunks of brain, blood and skull onto the wall.
I looked up and saw my Captain alive and well, “Sir thank you sir” I told him.
“Now’s not the time tah’ be thankin’ no pony,” he said (he gets his western accent when he’s calm.)
“Sir, sorry, sir,” I apologized.
“Don’t yah sir me soldier! We got work to do!” he yelled.
“Sir, sorry, sir” I apologized again. He glared at me and helped me upstairs.
“Private Brayden, Private Holtskey! Follow me!” he ordered the two privates.
“Sir, yes, sir,” they said in unison. I heard a lot of gunfire. About five minutes passed then I saw the tank come rolling in. I had a sick feeling in my stomach, but then I had second thoughts when I saw the captain rush the tank’s gunner and G knife him, making him fall back into the tank. Then he threw a grenade down the tank’s hatch. He jumped off and galloped away, then a loud explosion went off, and I saw the tank burst to flames. It pleased me when I heard the geos screams coming from inside the tank.
A medic pony came up to my aid and tended to my wounds. He wrapped me up and told me the reinforcements were here, but he had bad news as well as good. A force of geos would be coming on the town with artillery.
“Well well well, look who’s up and atop!” I heard my friend Morning Star say.
My face brightened when I saw him along with his platoon of Privates. “well you know us Equestrians, we always heal quickly!” I told him and chuckled a bit.
“Sergeant Autumn!!! Report!!!” my Captain called.
“I hope you stay alive this time Morning” I told morning star, as I ran to my Captain’s service.
“Sir reporting for your commands sir” I told my captain.
“The geos are gearing up for another assault, we predict they have a base or camp near by, so when night falls, you will be assembling with Captain Proto and the Equestrian Ghosts” he explained.
“In the mean time, you should probably prepare your squad for the geo’s assault” he told me.
“Sir yes sir!” I shouted.
I trotted back to my squad and told them where I would be going, most of them sighed due to me being superior to most of the other Sergeants by being relatively cool and somewhat kind to them. Id be nicer if it hadn’t been for war and death. I told my men to get ready when Morning Star got to me, “Autumn, what do you think the geos are going to do?” he asked.
“they might come on us at full strength or come by waves, they’d be better off by coming at full strength. Then again we have our tanks waiting outside of Giza, we could call them in when things start to get rough” I explained.
“Cant forget about the arty they have Autumn, I hear their shells can pierce out tank armor if it hits directly, not to mention the shrapnel that could be produced when it hits the ground” he exclaimed.
“Heh, no kidding. Well if we can hold out until nightfall, they wont have any base to fall back to” I told him.
“Well ive got to get my ponies together, ill see you later bro” Morning said.
“Ok man me too” we brohoofed and prepared for they geos assault.
By the late afternoon, I saw a few geo infantry heading our way. “Here they come!!!!” I yelled.
I heard the whole division mobilize, and took my ATSE and zoomed in on the geos. They were charging and charging fast. “Snipers ready your positions!!!” I ordered.
“pick ‘em off when you have a good shot!!” I ordered again.
I heard sniper fire and saw the geos fall into the sand like rocks falling down to the ground. I grabbed my LRAR42 and aimed for headshots, I got at least 23. After a few more kills I started hearing something odd, it sounded like a teapot steaming, Then an explosion. I looked up and saw a Ranger get tossed into the air and land like a rag doll pony. His body was lifeless and I could see a hoof and leg missing, probably incinerated by the explosion. “Awww buck no, you mother buckers aren’t getting away with that!!” I yelled.
I took a look at the geos and shot as many as I could see. However our position was at the front of the city, “this is a bad position to be in, a geo could easily trot through the door“ I thought to myself.
As I was processing this through my head a loud bang and gunfire came from downstairs. I heard a scream and another gunshot. I turned and saw two geos coming up stairs, I grabbed my rifle and rolled into cover. Once one got in my sights, he was gone. His head was all over the wall and I saw his companion take cover to where I couldn’t see him. He poked his head out and started blind firing. I kept my head low and waited for him to stop. When he did, I rolled out of my cover to spray him with three round bursts. He looked at me with an odd expression, like he was falling or something similar like that. When he fell, he fell backwards, falling down the stairs in which he came from. I turned back to my post as I heard a “thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud-thud” and reloaded. Paying no attention to the lifeless bodies of the two geos, I trotted down stairs. Down stairs I saw another dead ranger, he took a body shot and a head shot. I took his gun and ammo, and prayed for him. I prayed to Celestia that he’d be all right. After I was finished, I trotted back up stairs still seeing geomanians rushing us. I found it funny that such light armored ponies would be charging at us. “Oh well” I thought, and took back my position.
As nightfell, I prepared to assemble with Captain Proto and the ghosts. As I was preparing however, I heard my Captain bragging about how good of a soldier I was, this pleased me and I finished up my ghost armor. I grabbed my rifle and the combat shotgun I stripped from the dead Ranger Pony I saw and prayed for down stairs, and trotted down that way. As I trotted down stairs, I began to wonder what invisibility was like. I wondered what it was like to step right in front of some pony and they didn’t even know you were there. When I got to the bottom of the stairs, the dead Ranger Pony interrupted my thoughts. I felt bad for not being there for him, so I thought the least thing I could do was to take him to the medics. I put him on my back and walked out the door. “Sergeant Autumn!! You had better be ready or I’m sticking my hoof up your flank!!” my Captain yelled.
“Sir the Sergeant is ready sir!” I yelled back.
“Nicely done soldier” he said.
“He’s one of the best Cpt. Proto, ready to kill when you order him to”.
I saluted to Cpt. Proto until he put his hoof down. “Well Sergeant Autumn, its nice to see some pony who actually cares about the dead” he said. “Sir the Sergeant should’ve been there for him so he thought the least he could do was to take him to the medics sir” I said to Cpt. Proto.
He gave me a smile and had me on my way to the medics.
At the medics, I told them to be sure that he would get a proper burial and prayers. “How do you know something’s going to be done when you cant even see it?” I wondered to myself. “guess that’s where loyalty comes in” I thought again.
On my way back, I put on my ghost helmet and fell in with Cpt. Proto and the Ghosts. We began to gallop, which I agreed to since I knew that this wasn’t going to be a long mission. “Pegasus, start reconnaissance of their area. “ Cpt. Proto said.
As soon as I heard “Pegasus” I knew what was going on. “Heh, I see what you did there Cpt. Proto” I thought to myself.
I looked up and saw the Pegasus ghosts start to fly faster. I did the same and tried to fit in with the ghosts as much as I could. We were all very fast flyers, so by the time we got to the Geomanian camp, I thought we were going to wait for the other ghosts. But this wasn’t Cpt. Proto’s plan, his plan was for the Pegasus to take out the guards and for the unicorn and earth ghosts to set the charges and to take out the rest. “Take out the guards Pegasus, do it quietly though” the Cpt. Said.
“Roger that Cap’n” I heard a Pegasus say.
He had a western accent so I asked him “Appleloosa?”.
“Heh, Ayeyup” he replied.
The reason I asked was because Morning Star was born there. Morning Star was my best friend ever since I signed up for Equestria’s military. “Alraght guys, we gat sm’e work tah dehoo” the Appleloosan ghost said.
“Move quickleh and quiteleh” he told us.
Based on him giving the orders, I presumed that he was a sergeant like me, so I asked him. “Sergeant?” I asked.
“Ah reckon yah know all ‘bout me eh?” he asked.
“Heh, nope Sergeant” I replied.
Of course I had no idea where this Pegasus was, I could only hear him. So I decided that this wasn’t the best place to chat, and started my mission. I crept up to a geo and stabbed him but and silenced him with my hoof. My next target was another regular Geo. He was simply dead once I used my G Blade to slice through his brain. He staggered a bit then fell over. I saw my next target on a tower. I used my G Blades to climb the tower and get into his position. Once I got to the top however, I saw he had a strange infared camera on his helmet. He charged at me and I just simply jumped over him, landing on my hoove’s knees. He turned around and looked down at me with fear in his eyes. I wanted my blades to give him a literal uppercut. My blades however, thought other wise and decided to go straight through his head, sending blood everywhere. Once this happened I looked to see if any guards were at the bottom of the tower.
There were plenty, “holy mother of buck” I thought to myself.
I jumped off the tower and landed on a geo guard, killing him with my blade stuck in his spine. The other just looked forward, not looking at me. Then I could see he was dead, he fell over in a pool of blood and I saw a Pegasus ghost looking straight at me. “Yer welcum’ Sergeant” he said.
I couldn’t see his expression under his visor but I could see a little emblem on it. “Whats that?” I asked.
“Its mah cutie mark” he told me.
“it’s a grey cloud with lightning’ shootin’ fum it” he told me.
“Mah names Sergeant Thunderstorm, and you arhh?” he asked.
“I’m Sergeant Autumn” I replied.
“Nahce tah meet yah Awtm’ but we have work to do” he said.
I agreed and went back to work killing geos while Thunderstorm went and set charges and other explosives on walls. After I was done, I saw the other ghosts gallop in. “Oh thank Luna for this blessing” I thought to myself. Then the Captain Paused, looking at Thunderstorm with a confused expression.
“Uhhmmm Sergeant Thunderstorm?” I heard Cpt. Proto say.
“Yes Cap’n?” I heard Thunderstorm ask.
“Where are the batteries?” he asked.
“Oh shi-!!” “BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM” I heard the Captain say before and enormous explosion went off.
The next thing I knew I was looking up at the partially covered night sky.
“Those sons of switches blew us up!!” I said.
I got to my hooves and started to wince.
“Oh Luna, my wing!! It broken, I cant move it!!” I said aloud.
But I saw no pony to tell this to, there was just an eerily silent wind blowing through my broken visor. I had no fast way of getting back to Hiza, so I decided to wrap my wing up and stay off it for a few days.
“Doctor’s orders,” I thought to myself and found a very small piece of happiness when I thought of that. I began to trot, then I heard Thunderstorm call out for me.
“Aut’mn!! Aghkk, am stuck!” he yelled.
I turned around almost instantly and galloped over to Thunderstorm. The lower half of his body was stuck under some debris.
“Ow,” was all I could say when I saw this.
I dug and dug until his body was completely uncovered of debris.
“There ya go Thunderstorm!” I said aloud.
“Ah hope ye know where wur’ headin’ Aut’mn,” he said with a dazed expression.
“You just close your eyes Thunderstorm, I’ll carry you until I find a good stopping place,”
Thunderstorm just sighed and slumped over on his side a bit. I nudged him with my hoof to see if he was still awake, he of course, wasn’t. I wedged my head under his belly and pulled him up, sliding him onto my back.
“Jeez, Thunderstorm, light as a piece of paper” I told my already asleep friend.
As I started to trot back towards Hiza, I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It seemed like an Alicorn, then I could see it’s eyes. Glowing like a lantern.
“Princess Luna?” I called out.
No answer. I called again, only to see that it had turned into an orb and flew into the sky.
“The hay? THE BUCK WAS THAT?!” I asked myself.
At this point, I was really mad and relatively worried about whatever that thing was that was stalking us. I kept trotting, looking around the dunes and rocks to see if there were anymore of these “Alicorns”. Eventually I stopped looking, but then I saw something that I didn’t want to see, the same debris that I dug Thunderstorm out of.
“Luna please toss me into a pit of hellfire” I mumbled to myself.
Then I saw something that made me even more paranoid, some scorpion Geos. These were elite Geos that could pop out of the ground like a diamond dog, then pull you into their tunnels and most likely kill you. They were also used to stalk or recon ponies. I threw off my helmet with one hoof and prepared my G Blade. It was completely useless, so I switched to my G Knife. It too was no longer a use.
“Dang, don’t you all just come on me at once” I said aloud.
I set Thunderstorm down and took a fighting stance. I saw a tunnel come towards me and what do you know, a completely armored and armed Scorpion geo. Such a wonderful surprise wasn’t it? I mean surely he was going all out on me even in my wounded and exhausted state. WHAM!! He gave me a blow to the mussel with his hoof, shattering it. He was wearing a mask that seemed relatively hard. I threw a punch that staggered him, but didn’t really hurt him. THIS HURT, A LOT. His mask seemed like it was made out of metal or some very hard piece of plastic.
“I really envy your mask” I told him.
I galloped over to Thunderstorm and he followed, with a combat knife.
“You suck!!” I told him, again.
I got to Thunderstorm and pulled out his pistol, and pulled the trigger on the Geo. It went through his mask and killed him, instantly. After this, I decided that it would be best that I go to sleep for the night: For the next day would be a long and hot one.
Chapter 2
Chapter 2
I woke up to hear the surprising sound of, birds chirping. Man why in the whole sane world would there be birds chirping in the middle of the desert? I, however, hadn’t opened my eyes yet. When I did, I saw forest. Forest, wow, just wow. Forest in the middle of the desert as well. I got up, and saw the whole thing just vanish. It was a mirage.
“Thunderstorm, I’m seeing things” I told Thunderstorm. But he was nowhere to be found.
“Dang, just left me here? Left here by the only other friendly pony in the desert, Harsh” I told myself, outloud.
I started to trot, then suddenly a random Pegasus in a gas mask, turban, and cloak landed in front of me. And I was unarmed. Dang, I was unarmed and in no state to fight at the time.
“We all do in the desert Aut’mn” The masked Pegasus said.
I was so pleased to hear this. It was Thunderstorm behind those clothes.
“Here, take this” he said as he tossed me a gun.
“Whats this for?” I asked with a very very confused tone.
“We aw’ goin’ intew a geo city, I carried you behind this dune here and went to get some supplies. We’ll act as new city folk” he told me in a rather offensive voice.
“Thunderstorm, you ok bro?” I asked him in a calmed voice.
He stamped on the sand and kicked some into the air. He had a deep sadness in his eyes, which he looked at me with. Then I knew why he was so mad and saddened.
“ah should’ve been thur Aut’mn, I should have seen those artillery batteries. If I had then I probably could’ve saved ya’ll” he told me in a voice that was full of regret and sorrow.
“Bro, to be honest. I thought the captain’s orders were to destroy the base, not the batteries” I told him in a tone that I would hope to lighten him up.
“Ayeup, but am’ purtty shur’ that that would follow along the captain’s first orders” he said right back at me. Seeing that he won, I turned our attention to something else, to get off that subject. I turned our attention to our supplies, but I really didn’t want to get into that. I asked anyways though.
“Ammo, food, and medicine” he told me in a plain tone.
“Where is your gun?” I asked to switch the subject, again.
“I hid it in this here duffle bag I found” he told me in an upbeat tone.
I told Thunderstorm that we should be heading into the city. He agreed and tossed me a duffle bag, the same color as his. I smiled lightly and threw it over my shoulder. But then a sharp pain spread throughout my body. I had forgotten about my wing, how the hay do you forget about your most likely broken wing and just start throwing stuff on it? I didn’t quite ignore the pain, because apparently Thunderstorm noticed my expression. He tried to hold in his laugh, he almost did. He snickered, which made him laugh, which made him end up in the sand, rolling around like a colt. I ignored him and continued to trot onto the dune itself. Eventually, Thunderstorm got up from his puddle of tears and actually decided to start following me.
“Well gaaalee Thunder, if you would’ve cried into our water bottlers, then that would’ve kept us from dehydration for half a year” I told him in a ticked off voice.
This didn’t make him stop laughing, it made him fall into the sand, guffawing. I face hoofed and kept trotting. But then I saw a few guards, I ducked back down and told Thunderstorm to shut up for a sec. He closed his muzzle and galloped up to me, like he knew what was going on. I slowly poked my head up to see where these guards were headed. They were headed right for us, as if they knew we were here.
“Dang, ok Thunderstorm they are headed our wa-” I stopped and saw them heading towards a road headed into the desert.
“ok never mind, they are heading somewhere else” I explained to Thunderstorm.
Thunderstorm nodded and started climbing over the dune, heading to the city. I followed him, trying to keep up with him as much as I could. I couldn’t however, he was galloping like he was trying to get away from me. HE EVENTUALLY DID!! WHY THE HAY WOULD YOU LEAVE SOMEPONY OUT IN THE DESERT WHO WAS YOUR ONLY COMPANION? This was nerve-racking, I was in the middle of bucking nowhere. With nopony to guide me through it. Then, lucky for me, a whole buckload of guards came around the corner. I turned around and started to make a gallop for it, then a little colt came up to me and asked me a question in a Canterlot voice. A Canterlot voice, why was a geomanian colt speaking in my language?
“Why are you killing us?” he asked in a soft voice.
“I uhh-, look kid, I don’t like killing you guys. I’m just following orders” I told him.
I gave him a light smile and galloped up some stairs I found leading to some random rooftop. While I was galloping up those stairs though, I felt a sharp pain to my wing again. This time it was throbbing and hurting like I don’t know what. I got to the top of the stairs and sat there, waiting for it to stop. It seemed to never stop, that’s when I started scooting towards the center of the rooftop. I did this to try and stay hidden and give time for me to heal. I started wincing, this was pain I had never felt before, this worse than getting shot! Mother of buck this hurt. It hurt so much that I couldn’t move, so I lie there. Hoping that Princess Luna or Celestia would give me the strength to keep moving. They didn’t give me any strength, but they did give me a miracle. A Equestrian dropship, it looked like it came to pick Thunderstorm and I up. But Thunderstorm was nowhere to be found, so I lie there, waiting for the medics to hoist me up. They did eventually, due to the fact that they were under heavy fire from all around. After they got me in, they started off back towards a base. I went to sleep after that, and I didn’t wake up until the next morning.
I awoke to the sound of birds chirping, again. This was getting weird. Was the desert reminding me of home? Or was it just doing its hallucinations? I didn’t want to know at all, but when I tried to get up, I couldn’t. I looked down and saw I was strapped down on a bed that wasn’t even that comfortable. I knew wings wouldn’t help, but I tried anyways. I couldn’t even feel them move, and when I looked over, to my horror they weren’t there!!
“Holy shi-” I said before a doctor came in.
“hello Autumn! How are you feeling today?” he asked me in a tone that was supposed to “help” me feel better.
“Just fine, despite the fact that 1. I’m strapped to a bed, and 2. My wings are gone. Now other than this, I just want you to know I’m completely fine!!” I told him in a sarcastic tone.
“Umm, yeah. We strapped you down because you were about to die. You had shrapnel in your gut and heart. We took those out but we didn’t want you trying to get out if you ever woke up” he told me in an innocent voice.
“Yeah? Reeeaaally? What about my wings? I was a Pegasus I’m sure. Now I’ve had my wings for twenty-one years. So they are or were perhaps, VERY important to me” I told him in a worried tone.
“Well your wings were completely broken and of no further use to you, so we amputated them. Now we know that you needed these wings to obviously you know, fly. But where your going and what your going to be doing. I’m afraid you wont need them anymore.” he told me in another innocent tone.
I thought about this for a sec, and remembered Thunderstorm. I owed him ,at the least, a knock over the head. I asked permission to get up and the doctor gave it to me. I told him I was sorry (even though I wasn’t) if I was being cross with him, and galloped out. I trotted out and saw a whole group of nurses and doctors tending to wounded ponies and such, but I had never been here before. Heck I didn’t even know if we were on a base. Then I heard Thunderstorm’s voice and some other pony’s voice. I followed the sound and rounded a corner where I accidentaly bumped into the nurse Sparkleworks, causing her medicine and tranquilizers to fly everywhere.
“Oh my Luna, I’m so sorry, here let me get that” I told her.
“No its fine hun, I got it” she responded in a forgiving tone.
“Are you sure? I’m a big help and I’m willing to help anypony out” I told here again.
She put her hoof over my mouth and told me “Its ok hun, ive got this” in a reassuring tone and smirked.
“O-Oh ok” I told her with a blush.
She continued to pick up her medicine bottles and I trotted on, lovestruck. I heard Thunderstorm’s voice again and rounded yet another corner. There he was just standing there, with regret on his face. I trotted up and gave him what he deserved, a knock over the head.
“Ow!!” Thunderstorm said with shock in his voice.
“That’s what you get mother bucker” I told him in a cross tone.
“Look Aut’mn, I’m deepleh sawry ‘bout that and all but it was orders! Ah wouldn’tve dun that if I didn‘ have to!!” he told me in a honest voice full of more regret.
“What Orders? Who gave them to you?” I asked eagerly.
“Captain Proto Aut’mn” he said.
This hurt me to know that the country I was fighting for was already turning its back on me. So I took a walk around the place and then some random military clerk came up to me.
“Autumn?” he asked
“Yeees?” I asked back.
“Your needed on the deck” he told me.
“What? Where are we, I don’t even know where this deck is!!” I shouted.
“Oooohhhh, sorry! Here follow me!” he said with an excited tone.
I followed him around for a bit until finally(after about 15 minutes), we got to a window with an odd shutter.
“Pull that switch, then you can have an idea of where we are” he told me excitedly.
I pulled the Switch and the shutter continued to open horizontally. Upon its first little bit of opening, saw a whole sky full of stars and saw a huge planet. It was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.
“This is what you don’t see down on Equestria Autumn, unless your on the moon” A voice from behind told me.
“Princess Luna” the Clerk and I said in unison as we bowed at her hooves.
Princess Luna told us to be at ease and we got up, with an awkward look on my face, I thought to myself.
“What was the Princess doing here?” I thought to myself.
“If your wondering why I’m here Autumn, it is due to this war. Its killing Equestria and Geomania. I’m afraid we are facing an apocalyptic threat if this continues, which it will. However, it’s not just Geomania. In a few years, after its all over, Extra-Terrestrials will invade both Equestria and Geomania. Our defenses will be too weak and I’m afraid our only resolve will be time-machines” Princess Luna said in a sorrowful tone.
“Will I be the one going Princess?” I asked cautiously.
“I’m afraid so my dear Autumn” Princess Luna said.
“Well, I’m ready when you are Princess. If this event Is Inevitable then I’ll still do my best to rewrite it.” I told the Princess in a ready tone.
“Are you sure you want to go now? I mean, at least you would want to say bye to Thunderstorm, maybe?” Princess Luna asked in a surprised tone.
“I know I probably should but let him know for sure but ill be back wont I?” I asked cautiously.
“Well, you wont be going alone, Thunderstorm will be there beside you, I wanted you to go and tell him just so you could trot all the way back here to tell me you told him” Princess Luna said.
“You were trying to trick me?” I asked with a pitiful tone.
“Trying to troll you, yeah” Princess Luna said.
I shrugged, not really paying any attention to Princess Luna’s fail attempt at trying to troll me. But what did surprise me was that Thunderstorm would be coming with me.
“When will we be leaving?” I asked politely.
“We?” Princess Luna asked.
“Yeah, you said Thunderstorm and I didn’t you?” In a confused tone.
“Nah, just you” Princess Luna said after thinking about it.
“But you just sai-” I told her in protest tone.
“Problem?” Princess Luna said.
I laughed and said “Nope, no problem at all Princess”. Princess Luna grinned ear to ear as she turned to the opposite direction of me.
“If you are ready, then follow me” Princess Luna said cautiously.
I followed willingly as ever and tried to look like I deserved this mission, I did this by not prancing and dancing around like a little school filly. After about a few minutes of silence and trotting, we got to a door. It looked like the odd window the clerk lead me to, it opened the same, looked the same. Heck it even had the same features. Princess Luna pulled the lever this time and I say, when the door opened completely, I was scared half to death.
Chapter 3 part 1
Chapter 3 part 1
There were needles, saws, and an operating table behind this “door”. Along with a few masked doctor ponies. This, I could already tell, was not going to be pretty. However, I was over-looking something. Needless to say that Princess Luna reassured me that I was not going to be a cyborg-pony. But then I thought and looked at the thing I over-looked. It was a suit, called “C-01Ts” or “Colts“. Princess Luna said the first part of the suit was made out of itty bitty pieces of hard rubber bonded by elastic. The second part of the suit was all advanced with technology I had never seen before, it was overwhelming. I would’ve had a wing boner, if I had wings.
“Go on Autumn, the fate of Equestria is in your hooves now.” Princess Luna encouraged.
I smiled and slowly trotted over to the ponies with masks, they didn’t say a word to me. They only looked at me with widened eyes and what looked like dropped muzzles.
“Ok then, so what do you need me to do?” I asked one of the ponies.
“Well for starters, you can take off your clothing. Then slip into the first part of the suit over here” one of the ponies ordered me.
I shrugged and did what he said. The easiest part was taking off my hospital clothes I just pulled them off with my mouth, but then there was the first part of the suit. First, I tried stepping into it with all four hooves, then I tried two hooves. This didn’t work and I was in no mood to procrastinate to Princess Luna. So I tried something else, I grabbed the first part of the suit with my mouth and sat on the floor. From here, I bent over as If I was trying to reach something, and put my back hooves into the suit. Then I pulled it up to my chest. Then I just slipped my front hooves into the suit and I was done. But the whole time the doctors AND Princess Luna were watching me.
“Smart colt” I heard one say.
“Thanks, so what is next?” I asked eagerly.
“Well, this part will hurt a bit. It will be tight on this second part. But I’m sure you will be fine, are you ready?” the doctor explained.
“eh, when you are” I said nervously.
The doctor nodded and told me to lay on the table. I did what he told me and trotted over and lied on the table. Then I saw the needles moving closer to me.
“Colt da-” I said before the needle impaled my coat and then skin.
The next thing I knew, I was looking up at the ceiling with slightly red tint in my vision. To the side, I could see a little flashing indicator that said “you are pointing north”. Then at the top I could see a little health bar that said “500%” and an energy bar under that that said “100“. Then one little zero at the top underneath all the bars, it didn’t seem to do anything. After noticing all this, I tried to move. I moved with ease, and when I got up I could see the doctors all looking at me with an “aww” in their faces.
“Well, looks like we’ve outdone ourselves” I heard one say.
“Wow, it’s comfortable too” I said with a slight bit of robot in my voice.
“Good, heck that’s great!! By the way, that is a visor your seeing out of” I heard a doctor say as one walked towards me.
As he walked towards me, a little indicator popped up while I was looking at him, “Equestrian doctor active ally”. To experiment a bit, I looked at another doctor that wasn’t facing me. The indicator then said, “Equestrian Doctor, inactive ally”.
“Interesting.” I said with the same robotic tone in my voice.
“Wow, just wow. Tell me that this pony doesn’t look awesome, oh wait you cant!” I heard the same doctor say.
“Thank you” I said.
When the doctor walked up to me, he touched my armor. He squeed and fainted, I suppose he couldn’t handle the moment.
“Ok C-01Ts, or would you like to be called Autumn?” the first doctor asked.
“Autumn, please” I replied blankly.
“Ok then, so you know your mission right?” the first doctor asked again.
“Yes, its to stop the invasion from happening” I replied blankly again.
“Ok, but you see a little zero at the top of your visor right?” the first asked.
“Yes” I replied.
“Ok good, say zero then” the doctor said.
I looked forward and said “zero” and out popped two bright green G blades from my front hooves. They had a somewhat bright glow to them as well. I had to admit that these blades were freaking awesome.
“Oooo cool” I said with a surprised tone in my voice.
“Now let me show you to the armory, so you can have more numbers and weapons to choose for your inventory.” the doctor said.
He motioned me to follow him and I got up, but I wasn’t making any noise while I was trotting. It wasn’t even a light trot. I didn’t let it bother me too much so I just kept trotting. When we got to the armory, I saw a very small variety of weapons. There was a little shotgun, an assault rifle, and a little pistol.
“Whoa, not that many weapons” I told the doctor.
“I know, but hey you can take the whole thing if you want!” he told me in an upbeat tone.
“Umm, ill just do that then” I said blankly, and grabbed the three weapons.
Then the little indicator popped up again, this time naming the weapons as I looked at them. “C-01r Assault Rifle, Equestrian Technology”, then as I looked at the shotgun it said “Shotgun C-01s, Equestrian Technology”, then the pistol “Pistol, C-01p.” I picked up the C-01r and it disappeared, then a little number two appeared at the top of my visor. When I said “Two” it popped out, and was attached to me by a bolt that could face the inside or outside of my armor. Then I picked up the Shotgun, it too disappeared and a little number “three” appeared next to the ‘two” on my visor. Then I picked up the pistol, it disappeared like the other two did and appeared as a number “one” on my visor next to the “two”.
“Now Autumn, if you say zero-zero, the weapon you have will turn back into your armor.” the doctor said.
I said “zero-zero” and the C-01r folded into my armor.
“Awesome” I said with a surprised tone.
The doctor smiled and told me to follow him. I did as I was told and turned to walk with him wherever we were going. We were going to a time-machine that would teleport me to the future. He told me to step onto the time-machine. I stepped on with all four hooves. Then I saw him type some date with his hoof and then press “enter”.
“Good luck” he yelled before I went through a wormhole.
Chapter 3 part two
Chapter 3 part two
After I had gone through the wormhole, I was in a wasteland, and it was nearly sunset. I could see no trees, no grass, Nothing. It was just a great nothingness that seemed empty, but I was wrong. When I tried to focus on something in the distance, my visor acted as binoculars and zoomed in for me.
“Thanks” I said blankly.
I focused on a little house that seemed sturdy. I started out on a trot, then a gallop. I had galloped for a few seconds and I was there at the house. It was dark, and seemed empty. Then I took a look inside. It was pitch black, then a little light appeared on my helmet and acted as a flashlight. I stepped in and looked around even more. There were chairs, couches, and a seemingly small table in the middle of the room I was in. I looked to the “North-east” and saw a little stair-case. I trotted up to it, and put one hoof on it. It was surprisingly sturdy after I don’t know how many years, but I could tell this was the distant future. Princess Luna said the apocalypse was imminent. I trotted up the stairs to find an empty room and a window leading to behind the house. I trotted up towards the window and looked out. Out of it I could see a few armed ponies with odd armor. They had no helmets and were holding pistols and rifles. “Civil Security Lites, inactive enemies” the indicator said. If these were enemies then I would have no trouble mowing them down with my C-01r. For there were only four. I said “two” and my rifle popped out. Darnit!! The doctor never told me how to fire this thing. So I said “fire”, it did nothing.
“Shoot” I said. It still did nothing.
Then I said “Open Fire”, it did exactly as it was told. Only it fired just over the heads of the Civil Security Lites. This alerted them and I heard one say “enemy!”. Oh Celestia. I saw them grab their helmets and they took cover behind some rocks. I zoomed in on one of the rocks they took cover behind and said “Open Fire”. The shot was surprisingly accurate. Then I said “Open Fire hold”, this order made the rifle fire without stopping. Until I said “Hold Fire” then I stopped immediately. I said “Open Fire hold” again, this time zooming on a civil security lite’s head. He was out of cover, so he just fell over from the headshot I had given him.
“Hold Fire” I said. The rifle stopped and then a little indicator popped up on my visor.
“If you say “OFH” then it will use less time with ordering. If you say “HF”, then it will do the same. It is just a more efficient way of giving out orders to your guns” It said.
I zoomed on a rock and said “OFH”, it opened fire on it and chipped pieces of rock away when the shots hit. Eventually, the civil security had to find a new place to hide. When they did, they weren’t fast enough, and I mowed them down with my rifle. Then I looked for the other two. I felt a sharp pain on my chest, and saw my health meter go down to “489”. I had been shot, and survived. But I decided to take cover, for if I got shot again my health would go down more. I popped my head up for a second to see where that shot came from. I couldn’t see the civil security soldiers anywhere, then an indicator popped up on my visor.
“An even more efficient way of firing is to gently bite down on this mouth piece, you would have to take your helmet off first” it said.
I got back under cover and took off my helmet. Then a little dispenser popped out of my armor’s hoof, in it was a mouth piece connected to some wire. I put it my mouth and gently bit on it. My rifle fired until I stopped biting.
“Awesome” I said in a quiet voice.
I put my helmet back on and continued to look for the Civil Security. After a few more minutes, I got out of cover and explored the room a bit more. I wasn’t in view of the window, so I was safe from any civil security soldiers. I turned around and saw a carcass, it seemed a few days old. But it wasn’t civil security, it was something different. Another indicator popped up and said this.
“Usurpation soldier, Dead enemy”
It was alien, a pony like alien. I looked to the side and saw azure blood. It had been shot, assuming it was civil security. I decided to trot back downstairs, but civil security was coming UP the stairs.
“zero” I said blankly.
My blades popped out and my rifle folded up. I trotted to the wall and hugged it. When the civil security got up to the room I was in, I stabbed one and he fell back on his “buddy”. he was still alive and looked at me through his slightly transparent visor with murder in his eyes. He charged at me and tried to slice me with his own blades, missing each time he sliced. After one more dodge, I counter-sliced him. It was an upward slice and sent him into the air doing back flips. His “buddy” ducked as the body came at him. His “buddy” charged at me now as his friend was falling down the stairs.
“You son of a bi-” he said before I stabbed him through the chest.
“What was that? I couldn’t here you!” I said before pulling upward, slicing his body nearly in half. I looked down at him and an indicator popped up.
“Civil Security, Dead enemy” it said.
I trotted over his mutilated body heading down stairs. As I trotted down stairs, I saw a photo I hadn’t seen before. It was a picture of a brown stallion with an even darker brown mane. “Doctor Whooves” it said. I nearly cried for a second, Doctor Whooves was my best friend when I first arrived in ponyville. He was the nicest to me too, I bowed my head and gave him some prayers. After I was done, I trotted down the stairs some more. After I got to the bottom, I saw the Civil Security soldier. He was lying there, dying.
“Civil Security Lite, dying enemy” an indicator said.
I thought about killing him, but then I decided to leave him to suffer. For I felt he deserved it. After I had trotted out of the house, I continued to look around. I trotted over to where the civil security soldiers were, I found something valuable. It was an advanced GPS, and on it said “Ponyville”. What? This wasteland was Ponyville? Whatever had happened must have been tragic. Then I looked up at the sky, an indicator popped up.
“Usurpation Laser” it said.
I could see nothing, just a dark grey sky with a little bit of brown in it. I put the GPS in a compartment in my armors other hoof. Then I saw a few wires. A red one, a blue one, and a green one. I looked on the back of the GPS and it had the same colors, only as slots. I pushed the GPS in, making the wires fit in their places. And then a map appeared on my visor. It had a little dot that said “you are here”. Then at the top of the map it had directions on how to close the map and pull it back up.
“To close the map, say close. To open the map say open” the directions said.
“Easy enough” I thought to myself.
I looked at the map a bit more and could see a little fort over Fort Hoof, a sister-city to Manehattan. An indicator appeared on the fort, it said “CS Slave Base”. What the heck? Slavery? I would not put up with this, this was unheard of! So I started to gallop that direction. After about 15 minutes of galloping, I slowed to a trot. I could see a small convoy of carriages holding ponies in chains, civil security lites, and civil security heavys. This would be a hard task, but I knew if I did it, that would set free about five or six more ponies. So I opened fire on the carriage, making sure no bullets hit the enslaved ponies.
“Enemy spotted!” I heard a civil security say aloud.
“I see him!” I heard another say aloud.
I kept suppressing fire on the ones who hadn’t gotten to cover yet.
“Dueaghh!!” I heard one I shot cry.
I stopped firing and took cover.
I peeked over the cover I was in and saw a civil security heavy trotting up to me.
“Your out-numbered” he said politely.
“Really? You don’t say?” I told him aloud.
“If you surrender, we promise not to kill you. But we sure will torture you!” I heard the Civil Security say as he laughed aloud.
“To hell itself with that bucked up crap!” I said aloud before popping out of cover to spray him with my rifles bullets.
I kept shooting him until finally, after about twenty more bullets, he fell over, covered in blood. I got back in cover and looked for more civil security soldiers. I could see none, so I galloped out of cover to behind on of the carriages. Jeez these guys loved to play hide and go seek, these guys were cowardly soldiers. What happened to Equestria? I know extra terrestrials were invading but I didn’t expect anypony’s way of life and war to change. A sharp pain ruined my thoughts, and I could see my health had gone down to 490, then 480, then 460. Somepony had spotted me and I turned around to see who it was. It was a civil security lite. He had snuck up behind me a few hooves away. I bit down on the little mouthpiece, and shot him with only four bullets. His visor was facing me until he fell over, dead. Blood was spewing out of his armor, then onto mine as crawled up to his body. I saw a few grenades, and a pistol. It proved no use to me since I already had arms, but I took it anyway, to give it to sompony who could help me if I ever found one. I looked up from the lites’ body and saw a heavy and another lite charging at me.
“Zero” I said as I took a fighting stance.
The lite, who was faster than expected, buck kicked me. Sending me backwards, into the dirt. I got up, only to see him put his hoof on my visor, holding me down. What I could see, however, surprised me. I saw an enslaved unicorn pony pick up the pistol I had took from the dead lite and shoot the lite that had his hoof on me. The lite staggered off of me towards the side and I got up to slice him until he was in pieces. I got to a new stance and jumped at the lite, landing on his back with all four hooves. I sliced his neck twice then jumped upwards as high as I could. Coming down with all the momentum I had, I sliced through his neck one last time, beheading him. I had landed right beside him when I came down so his blood went all over my visor. As some of it dripped of my helmet, I looked for the heavy. The problem was that I was looking in one direction. When I looked to the side, I saw a very pissed off heavy charging at me with all his might.
“Three” I said as my shotgun popped out and my blades folded in.
When he had gotten about two hooves away, I blasted his head, Sending chunks of it into the dirt. His body was just standing there, then it fell over. His blood was spewing from the little stub that was once his head. I turned around and saw three more civil security soldiers charging at me while one stayed behind. The three were a heavy, and two lites. The three all held G Blades, and the one that stayed behind was a heavy, and he was shooting at me.
“Two” I said as my shotgun folded in and my rifle popped out.
I opened fire on the heavy and the lites, only to see them deflecting the bullets that were about to hit them.
“Unfairness, is only fun when your doing it” I thought to myself.
I switched to my G Blades and charged at the three. Outmatched and outnumbered, I started to loose hope. Then the unicorn that shot the lite was now aiming for the heavy. This pleased me, and I jumped onto the back of the heavy with blades as the unicorn shot the heavy with the pistol. I stabbed the heavy and jumped off of him, then did the same with one of the lites. It killed the lite but left the heavy in a dying state.
“What the buck?” I heard the other lite say.
“It’s ninja style, look it up, oh wait you cant cause your about to die!!” I yelled at him.
“Ok then, come at me bro” he taunted.
I galloped at him and attempted a slice, but he blocked it. Holding my hoof in place, he used his free one to slice at me. I blocked this and pushed him away. He staggered a bit, then I knew it wouldn’t be long until he would be dead. But he knew something I didn’t. Because this was in the distant future, he knew a bit more about my fighting style than I did. When I charged at him, he held my hooves in place and pulled me onto his back hooves. He held me there for a bit then flipped me onto my side, putting me in a hoof-bar.
“Dangit!” I yelled at him.
“Now I’m going to break your hoof off now ok?” he told me with a crazed tone in his voice.
He pulled back and took my hoof with him, stretching it until it felt like it would pop out of place.
“Ahhh, aughh!!” I screamed.
He wasn’t going to stop, I knew I was dead now. But then a bit of luck bestowed on me. My hoof slipped from his grasp and I pulled it away. It hurt like buck, so I got away from him for a second. He jumped from the ground landing on two of his hooves. After he had gotten to all four, he prepared to charge at me. I pulled my hoof back that wasn’t hurting and waited for the right timing. After he got about three hooves away, I sliced upwards. This hit his helmet and hit him too. He flipped backwards while still going forwards. While he was in the air, he twisted and landed on his muzzle. His helmet flew off during the process, so he was vulnerable. He was trying to get up when I trotted up to him, I held him down with my hoof and said “Your time has come” in an oddly malfested voice.
“What?” he asked with a confused tone.
“Well, you did enslave these ponies didn’t you?” I asked with my voice back to slightly robotic.
“Well no and yes, I didn’t want to but I was just following orders. Haven’t you ever had that feeling before?” he asked nicely.
I shivered and thought of the time I had met that colt, and I felt even worse when an indicator popped up and said “Civil Security Lite, dying ally”. This Lite could be an ally to me if I healed him. So I dragged his body over to the carriage and asked the unicorn who had shot the Heavy and lite to heal him. The unicorn glared at me and did what I asked her to. In a few seconds he was alive and well.
“Nightingale” the Civil Security Lite said.
“Wait what?” I asked.
“That’s my name” he said simply.
Since I was the kind of pony who (and still is) wouldn’t judge a book by its cover or title, I ignored it.
“I’m Autumn, but for now until we get this wasteland straightened out, call me C-01Ts” I said in an upbeat tone.
“Ok C-01Ts, I am ready to fight as your friend or your companion” Nightingale told me.
“Both” I told him simply.
“Oh and sorry about your friends there” I apologized.
“Don’t be, these mother buckers are or were horrible soldiers. And I never wanted to fight along side them.” he explained.
“A lot of these soldiers here were once Equestrians, now we are just wasteland souls fighting and enslaving our own kind. Not to mention the Usurpation soldiers, they bucked everything up and still are.” he explained once more.
“Well, what about the elements of harmony?” I asked curiously.
Nightingale scoffed and looked at me blankly, “dead” he said quietly and sadly.
This struck me, I nearly fell over and cried when I heard this. I wanted to find out how they died, and kill whoever killed them. At this point I had been through a lot and saved six ponies throughout the day. I will save more in this wasteland, and I will meet new ponies to help guide me this wasteland. Just hope its not too late.
Chapter 4: In the Begining
Chapter 4- In the beginning
Hey! What's with the tin can? *yank* *snap* ARGH!
The next morning, I awoke to the sound of gunfire. It was distant so I figured Nightingale and I could stop by for a bit. Whatever it was, it was really causing a ruckus, so we decided on going by hoof since if we went by vehicle Civil Security reinforcements would see us.
Outside of the convoy.
“Whatever is going on over there must be a battle or something, ive never heard that much gunfire since the last time I had one” Nightingale said.
“I think we should head over there and stomp out that fire” I told him aloud.
“Yeah I agree but, I must tell you, there are four total factions in equestria right now” Nightingale told me as he put his helmet on.
“That’s The Black Watch, Civil Security, Usurpians, and two ponies that call themselves The Society” Nightingale informed me in a slightly robotic voice like mine.
“The Black Watch and The Society both fight for the good of equestria” Nightingale informed once more.
“Huh, why don’t they fight together?” I asked.
“Nopony knows, but we have never seen them fight against one another” Nightingale replied.
After we had a small meal, that all wastelanders called breakfast, Nightingale and I started on a road towards the battle. After about 15 seconds on the road, Nightingale started to wince.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“No its nothing, I sometimes hurt for a sec” He told me with a pain in his voice.
I shrugged and kept trotting. Nightingale caught up eventually and told me to stop for a second.
“Civil Security Troops coming down this road, better watch your back. There is plenty of them” He said informed.
Though Nightingale was my friend, I didn’t expect he would inform me like he was still in the Civil Security. This was a problem, if he kept acting like this then he would probably turn back over and forget our friendship.
“C-01Ts, get down” he whispered.
This interrupted my thoughts and I jumped behind a rock to avoid being seen by the Civil Security. The Civil Security were on a vehicle called a slave ship. It had caterpillars like a tank and a two story house mixed together. This was a chance I could take to free a few more ponies from the Civil Security, but was it really worth it? To die for ponies I didn’t even know that could possibly be hostile to well being of Equestria? Well I’m pretty sure that whatever the enslaved ponies were thinking or hoping, number one would to be free. So I motioned Nightingale to attack it. He looked at me like I was mad. I wouldn’t blame him, after all that thing had turrets. As the thing rolled by, an indicator popped up on my visor.
“You can slow down time if you say S” it said.
“S” I said and everything slowed down.
Then I saw my energy bar decreasing. Then I had a plan as it built back up to 100. I slowed down time and galloped up to the vehicle, and jumped on one of its turrets. The others all turned and started firing at me. I switched to my G Blades and mirrored each shot that came towards me, and stabbed the turret I was on. It stopped working instantly after I did that. I pulled it off and used it as a shield to block the other turrets. Surprisingly, where the turret was, there was a hole leading into the vehicle. I jumped through it and saw a Civil Security Lite pony laying on the floor, dead. What could’ve caused that? There were no bullet holes and no slices. I looked at him for a bit more and trotted further into the vehicle. A few minutes had gone by and I rounded a corner and saw Nightingale. He was fighting a heavy, and winning. I decided to help him out anyways since I wanted to stop the dang vehicle before it got to Fort Hoof. I stabbed the heavy’s back hoof, causing him to drop. Then Nightingale ,who was ready to be done with him, sliced him through the heart. This caused him to face me, then one of Nightingale’s blades went through his neck, killing him instantly. Nightingale pulled it out and the heavy fell with a surprisingly loud thud. Nightingale and I looked at each other and took cover behind a few boxes at the back of the room we were in. A few seconds later, Civil Security busted through the door, armed with murder in their eyes.
“Quiet, I hear something” an earth lite said in a hushed voice.
“I know your in here! Ha! Pinkie Pie was the easiest to kill don’t you think?” Another lite Unicorn said.
This made me burst with anger. I jumped from behind my cover and switched to my shotgun. I rolled to a lite, and while I was down on the ground I shot through his face sending blood and skull everywhere. The other lite looked down at me, frozen in fear. I could tell because he was shaking. I switched to my blades and jumped up to him, unfortunately he had regained courage and held me in place with telekinesis. He aimed his gun at me and shot twice.
“Dueahh!!” I yelled.
“Aww did that hurt? Ok heres some more!” he said in a sadistic voice.
He shot me four times then stopped, and I dropped to the ground. He had a bullet hole in his visor, and blood was pouring out of it. I impaled his neck with both of my blades and picked him up.
“For Pinkie and the Mane Six” I said and pulled my blades out of his neck, decapitating him.
His body fell to the floor and his head rolled to the corner of the room. I walked into the next room where the lites had came from and saw enslaved ponies. Some were in chains and some were nailed into the wall. I took off my helmet and pulled the nails out with my mouth. After I did that, I took my blades and cut the chains. Nightingale went into the other room while I finished up freeing the now free ponies. After I did this I trotted to the door to the room Nightingale was in.
*** *** *** *** *** *** ***
The room was filled with guns, armor, and blades. This was an armory to the vehicle. In the back of the room however, there were stairs. Nightingale looked back at me through his visor and asked “Aren’t you gonna get some weapons? There is a lite rail gun there.”
I looked where he was pointing and saw a gun with a glowing bright blue clip. An indicator popped up as I looked at it.
“Lite Railgun CS-Hshot” it said.
“Interesting” I said.
Nightingale walked back to me as I picked it up and said “My favorite weapon too.”
Nightingale trotted over to the other side of the armory and picked up a Civil Security assault rifle called the “CS-RC” and switched to it as it disappeared in his hooves. I looked down at my rail gun, but it wasn’t there anymore. A little number “four” was on my visor though. I said “four” and the railgun popped out of my armor. I looked at Nightingale to see if he was ready to go, he was as ready as I was. I trotted up the stairs first and saw a combination of both Lite and Heavy Civil Security soldiers in the room. But this room was different, it had more Civil Security than slaves. So I figured if I could draw them out of the room, Nightingale and I could pick them off as they came down the stairs. I took my shot at a heavy, it didn’t kill him but it sure did leave him with a few hooves missing. The other Civil Security soldiers saw this and looked to see where the shot came from. Eventually they were all looking at me, and they didn’t like it. All of them were galloping towards me. I jumped down the staircase and took my position at a corner. Nightingale did the same except at a different corner. Once a Civil Security Lite was in my line of sights, he was gone. There was a huge hole in his side where his ribcage was, and I noticed that I fired a lightning bolt. I switched to my shotgun because things were about to get close quarters. A lite with blades jumped down the stairs towards me, but while he was in the air, I bit down on my mouth piece preventing him from coming down the stairs anymore than he was. He was dead after that, he wouldn’t move. I found that each Civil Security soldier I killed, the more I felt satisfied at what I was doing which was killing them. At first, I thought they weren’t that bad. But when the one lite admitted to killing one of the mane six, I knew that these ponies were only sadistic cowardly stallions. They especially didn’t deserve the rank of a soldier like me. These were sadistic killers that didn’t care for the well being of Equestria.
After the rather short battle between Civil Security and I, Nightingale stopped the slave ship and got everypony out. I, however, stayed on board for a few minutes longer. I trotted up to the head of the Civil Security Unicorn that I decapitated and looked at it in disgust.
“You “ponies” don’t deserve to live due to what your doing to Equestria, may nopony remember your names” I said blankly.
I stomped on his head causing it to shatter into oblivion. “I’ll see you in hell” I said once more and turned to trot out of the slave ship. I trotted through the door to see the once enslaved ponies and Nightingale all looking at me.
“What is it?” I asked.
“We all heard what you said and did” a unicorn mare said softly.
“Well said.” an earth Pegasus said.
“C-01Ts, I wish Luna was here to see that” Nightingale said in a excited tone.
“Yeah? Just doing my job” I replied.
After the slave ponies left, Nightingale suggested to keep going towards where the gunfire was coming from. I agreed to his suggestion and continued to walk on the road towards Fort Hoof. After about an hour of trotting, Nightingale and I saw a U.F.O. It was crash landing, but in the opposite direction of Fort Hoof.
“Should we follow it? Or no?” I asked.
Nightingale looked at me as if I was confused. I had never asked him a question before so he probably didn’t know what to say.
“What do you mean?” he asked.
“Don’t you think that you should get to decide on our little group too?” I asked nicely.
“Oh um, yeah sure” Nightingale said.
“I think we should go towards the battle first then go back for the crash site” Nightingale said.
“Ok, good idea” I said cheerfully.
When we arrived at Fort Hoof, there were barely any guards. The ones that were actually up there didn’t even notice us, even though it was about 10:00 a.m. Nightingale and I looked up and saw a tower explode. This alerted the guards and they all scrambled to some random place out of sight.
“Out of sight out of mind?” I asked.
“Yeah you could say that” Nightingale replied as we trotted into Fort Hoof.

Fort Hoof
“This place looks like its been through a lot” I said.
“No kidding, by the looks of it this place has been the center of all the action.” Nightingale replied.
Fort Hoof was the exact opposite of what I was used to. My Fort Hoof was always populated by both zebras and ponies, this Fort Hoof looked abandoned. As we walked further into the city I heard a loud bang, louder than the distant gunfire. I heard even more and turned around and saw Civil Security fighting some unseen pony or thing. The Civil Security soldiers were losing, they were getting picked off one by one. After the last one got shot, we saw a pegasus in a black hoody with a dark grey mane and tail with a lighter grey coat trot out into view. Behind him was a pony in wrappings, he was wrapped up from hoof to ear with his own little hoody that was blue, the only thing that wasn’t wrapped up was his tail. It was black.
“It’s The Society” Nightingale whispered as they looked at us.
I zoomed in and saw a mark on the pony in the black hoody, it had my cutie mark on his shoulder, chest, and on the side of his hood. What the hay? That’s when I started to gallop towards him, while Nightingale followed quickly. I started to gallop faster and faster, then the pony in the black hoody held up his hoof and said “Requiescante in Pace“. He then shot me with an automatic hidden gun. I fell to the ground and rolled towards him and blacked out after I saw my health meter go under 10.
I was looking up through my slightly red tinted visor, again. I looked to the side and saw a medic pony, looking and writng something down on her clip board. She looked up from it and asked “Oh good your awake”.
“How did you know?” I asked in a robotic voice.
“Your head has been that way since yesterday” she said in a soft voice.
“What? Who carried me in?” I asked in a lightly distorted and robotic voice.
“You wouldn’t know him but ill give a brief description of him, he has a light grey coat, a dark grey mane and tail, and wears a black hoody” she informed.
This alerted me and I got up, I needed to talk to this pony and fast. But first, I had to find out where Nightingale was and to see if he was ok.
“Your Civil Security ally is in the other room” she said sweetly.
“Thank you!” I said as I got up.
“Oh, by the way. We couldn’t find a way to get your armor off, so you still have bullets inside of you.” The nurse said calmly.
“That’s ok, my armor can extract them out of my body” I said calmly as well.
I trotted into the room and saw Nightingale without his civil security armor standing up on all four hooves looking out a window. The room was decorated with posters of a white unicorn stallion with a black mane with a symbol in the background. On the posters, they said “The Society Will Prevail”. By Celestia we were in a Society hospital!
“Well, now what?” I asked Nightingale.
“What? Oh, didn’t see you there” Nightingale said in a light tone.
This was the first time I had seen Nightingale without his CS armor (CS stands for Civil Security). He had a grayish brown coat with two mane and tail colors, brown and lighter brown. At the bottom of his hooves, he had some of his coat missing. I suppose he was born to be a work pony. Then the war and invasion happened and ruined everything.
“You two, please follow me” we heard a pony say.
We looked over and saw a Pegasus in a factory suit with transparent goggles on his head. We looked at each other and trotted towards him as he turned around to walk down an unseen hallway. As we trotted slowly down the hallway, I heard a voice that sounded bitalian, why was a pony from bitaly here. I know Equestria is in bad shape and all but I’ve always known Equestria to be independent. I guess that’s just one more luna forsaken change that Equestria has gone through. I looked to the side and saw the pony who was talking in the accent. It was the pegasus that shot me! I didn’t bother to run because he was coming down the hallway too from another hallway diagonal to this one. He was following us and eventually trotted to my speed.
“Why, did you do that?” I asked quietly.
“I am truly sorry for that my friend, I was the one who bought you here you know. And yes I saw your cutie mark, that was the only thing we could see” He said.
He was wearing a hood that covered his eyes while his mane made a shadow over his muzzle.
“spero saremo amici di nuovo” he spoke in his language.
“Why do we have the same cutie marks?” I asked eagerly.
“I don’t know honestly. Perhaps we can talk more about this later” he replied with a deep bitalian accent.
“Ciao my friend until we meet again” he added.
As I saw the Pegasus trot off, a few mares were giggling at him and whispering about him.
“He’s sexy with that hood on” I heard one mare say in a whisper.
“I know, those flanks look good too” another said.
I figured since everypony here meant no harm to me I calmed down. Once we got to our destination, the Pegasus put me back in an uncomfortable mood again. He asked me to take my helmet off. If we were in a space where nopony could see us, id have no problem with doing that, except we were on the balcony with hundreds of The Society’s members staring up at us. I looked at him, trying to ignore everypony else. I took off my helmet and saw everypony gasp, and one pony stood up. The Bitalian pony that shot me. And yes I will beat him over the head with that once I see him again. I popped my neck and looked at the crowd with an unimpressed expression.
“Autumn!” one said.
“What?!” I asked aloud.
“Father!” the Bitalian pony called.
“So good to see you again!!” I heard another pony say.
At this point I was really confused and had no idea what to say except “what“. So I decided to put my helmet back on. This made the crowd scramble as I turned to walk out of the balcony. I had to get some air, I was really confused about this and I had to clear my head. But unfortunately the bitalian pony came up to me, and started following me.
“Father, I’m now depressed what should I do. I shot my own father” he said in a depressing voice.
“Have anywhere to talk about this?” I asked nicely.
“Yes father, this way” he said as he trotted down a hallway.
*** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***
Outside on another balcony, ponies are looking everywhere for me.
“Its safe out here” the bitalian pony said.
“So, why did you call me dad?” I asked simply.
“Let me tell you a story father, about a pony who helped a great deal in the war against Geomania” he paused and looked at me.
“That pony’s name was Autumn” he said blankly while looking at me.
“Oh? Because in my actual time I’m just a regular sergeant” I replied.
“Well throughout the war, he created a one-hundred-trillion ton nuke called “Lunar Sun” that wiped out most of Geomania” he went on.
“The bomb was so big the mushroom could be seen from Canterlot. After that the Geomanians created and used a smaller nuke that destroyed Cloudsdale, Ponyville, Appaloosa, and Canterlot.” he explained.
“So, wait. Your telling me that I myself created a nuke that destroyed one whole country?” I asked eagerly.
“Yes, you did” he replied and continued his story.
“After the war ,and the wasteland became an everyday thing for you, a new spark of happiness rocked you to your very core.” he said.
“You had a son, named Winter Wind” he went on.
“But, unfortunately, your son had radiation sickness upon three months old” he explained.
“So by the time he had turned one, he was dying and fast. So your wife and my mom moved away to Bitaly to get away from the radiation. You however, stayed in Equestria. While in Equestria, you created a machine that if powered by the elements of harmony would bring Equestria and Geomania back to normal. But the elements were all dead and there were no ponies able to fit the job at the time. So you created another machine that could time travel. When the machine was nearly done, Usurpations came down on us with lasers and new technology. They didn’t use these for our well being though, they used it to destroy us even more than we were. The last time we saw you you were trying to defend the machine with your men at your side. You told them to go on while you, and only you, stayed back to defend our last hope. By the time we got out of the facility we all were in, a laser was coming down on it. The facility, however, was underground so it most likely just left the place exactly as it was. You or the Usurpation soldiers you were fighting, were never able to use the machine. Due to the fact that you hadn’t powered it up.” he said.
“So what should we do now?” I asked.
“Get you to that machine so you can get us out of this predicament here maybe?” he said.
I nearly exploded when I heard this. That mother bucker teleported me to the wrong time period! So I had to go find this time machine that was who knows where in Equestria, seems legitimate.
“When do we leave?” I asked blankly.
“Whenever you want to father” he replied blankly.
“Ok then, we leave in the morning” I replied.
As Winter Wind nodded, I turned to ask before he left the balcony “can I see my soon without his hood?” He smirked and took off his hood. Under his hood, I could see sky blue eyes and a short mane that covered one of his eyes.
“Alright then, that’s awesome” I said.
I had no experience in parenting, yet. So I treated my son as if he was my friend or brother. I had no brother though, so I chose the next best thing. A friend that’s part of the family. I remained outside for the night, and chose not to go to sleep. I just sat there and took off my helmet, looking up at the dark-blue sky that engulfed Equestria’s real skies all day every day.
*** *** *** *** *** *** ***
Dawn, still on the balcony
I looked out over Equestria and could see nothing but a dark orange landmass that stretched for miles. Winter and Nightingale came up for me and asked in unison “Are you ready?” I looked over and put my helmet back on to show that I was ,indeed ready. While trotting inside, I noticed a pony in an orange theater mask and the pony in wrappings talking to each other. But when I got closer to them I found their voices barely audible. What I could hear however, were the ponies talking in seriously malfested voices.
“What’s our next mission?” the masked one asked.
“I dunno, I think it has to do with Autumn though” the wrapped one said.
The masked pony’s expression was “happiness”, while his cutie mark was a candle. That explained his name.
“That’s Flamebell” Winter said.
“Why do you wear a mask?” I asked Flambell.
“Because my parents committed foal abuse” he said in a malfested but calm tone.
“Ok then” I replied.
“We will be helping you on your journey to rewrite our current fate” the wrapped one said in a hysterical voice.
“The more the merrier” I replied.
This was it, I was going to explore the wasteland righting wrongs and bringing Equestria back to normal once again. To be honest though, I cant wait to commence with these new operations with my son, my best friend, and these two malfested ponies here. This should be interesting.

Chapter 5: Current Events
“There's so much to look at! I feel like my durned eyes are gonna pop right out of my head!”
Close to the black watch held city of Manehattan
I knew that the wasteland was still inhabited with ponies and other such animals, but there were surprisingly low amounts of clear skies. Where were the Pegasus? It is their job after all to keep the weather in touch. Even if they were, they weren’t doing a good job at it. We were in a thunderstorm with lightning that would light up the sky as if it were day time. The lightning itself was green. This was odd weather, and the rain felt like tiny little stones hitting my helmet. I looked over at Winter, he was just walking along as if the rain was normal. I suppose all waste Landers learn to get used to it after a while, or they just have some really bucking hard heads. As I was walking along to our destination (Cloudsdale which is where I built the thing), I started noticing shadows stalking us. Eventually, one with glowing green eyes appeared about 10 hooves away from us. Then all these lights came on, their beams were pointed directly at us.
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t Tyco Riptides’ loyal enforcers” One mare said.
Wait, I knew that voice. I turned on my flashlight and saw Silver Spoon staring at us. I was surprised to see her out here in this wasteland. Then another voice spoke up.
“Take the robot, kill the rest!” She said.
It was Diamond Tiara. No surprise there, I could tell by her taunting tone. I looked over at the alicorn stallion with glowing green eyes, the same eyes I saw back in Geomania.
“Black Watch,” Winter said.
More soldiers surrounded us, preventing our escape. I drew my C-01r and took a fighting stance. I was in no mood to stall my mission. Then Flamebell spoke up as he raised his hoof, “I’ll see you in…. Hell!!” he said as a hidden gun fired off. The shot killed a Black Watch soldier. This alerted others, and they all started firing at us. I switched to my G Blades and went for the Alicorn named “BW-R0TS”. He took a fighting stance and pulled out a blade the same color as mine. I swung at his face, and missed. He had sidestepped like he was in no trouble and buck kicked me. This sent me flying into the fight Winter and the others were in. I looked around and saw a Black Watch mare soldier trying to stab me. I scooted over the side to dodge her blade. I jumped up, causing her to take a new fighting stance. She swung at me with a hoof, and I caught it. I pulled her into my blade, causing her to fall. She was stuck on my blade so I started swinging her around and around. After I gained enough momentum, her body flew off of my blade. She was flying straight at BW-R0TS. He teleported, and her body flew into the darkness. I looked up and saw him flying down straight at me. I waited for a second, and right before he hit me I jumped out of the way. He teleported again and appeared right behind me. He grabbed me and flew up into the air. Then he nose dived, causing me to land on my head. It took a second for me to get up, and when I did he punched me into the air. I landed away from the action, so it was just me and him. I got up again and saw him zooming straight at me. When he got about four hooves away, I asked, “Ready?!” as I switched to my pistol. “Now Die!!” I said as it fired a shot that was more powerful than that of my shotgun. This halted him instantly. He looked at me with murder in his eyes.
“At first, I thought you would be easy” he said quietly.
“Guess I was wrong” he said as he sprinted towards me.
“Do not test me” I said blankly as I sprinted towards him.
During my sprint, I switched to my G Blades and prepared an uppercut. While my bladed hoof was traveling through the rain like a bullet, BW-R0TS did the same. Our blades gave off a large disturbance in more than just sound. It shook the ground and it sent us away from each other. As I was flying through the air, I saw Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon galloping away from the battle. I slowed down time and switched to my rail gun. I took my shot right beside the two. They stopped instantly and looked up at me. They pulled out weapons of their own and galloped to where I was going to land. When I landed, I saw them jump on top of me. They held me down and started shooting me. They took mainly headshots, so my energy bar was at forty-four when they stopped. I saw them start to walk away and I looked over and saw BW-R0TS trotting towards me. I was dying and I couldn’t get up. He whispered something I couldn’t understand.
“You can do this, stay calm” I repeated to myself.
“Nothing is true” he said as he used telekinesis to pick me up.
“Your deeds condemn you,” he said after he threw me into the air.
“May no pony remember you name,” he said as he teleported on top of me.
His buck kicked me down to the ground, and my health meter went below 20. Then he zoomed down at me with incredible speed, and I had nowhere to go. I was paralyzed as he flew down at me. When he landed, he landed on me with his back hooves. My health meter was below 10 after he did that. He used a healing spell and picked me up with his telekinesis again. He dropped me and galloped towards me. He used his wings to help him go faster. I was in shock so I still wasn’t able to move. When he was about two hooves away he spun around and buck kicked me with unnatural force. So hard it put a hole in my helmet’s visor. I lie there, looking up at the storm through my partially destroyed visor. Rain was falling through the hole into my eyes, but I didn’t blink. I was in too much pain and shock to flinch or move. This alicorn was too much for me. I saw him standing above me, “Sorry” he said as he pulled out a G Blade. I took a look at him with my emotionless face before he raised he hoof. Then in a flash of green light he stabbed me, and didn’t bother to take out the blade. My eyes were wide open in all of this, so I could see him trotting away slowly chanting, “Victory to the Black Watch.”
After a few moments of lying there, my ears perked up as I heard somepony galloping towards my direction. “Damnit!!” I heard Nightingale say.
“Some pony help!” I heard a malfested voice say.
“Father?! Father please answer me!” I heard Winter yell.
“Oh Luna please help him!” I heard Nightingale say sadly.
In a flash of dark blue light, I saw a dark blue alicorn standing above me. It was indeed Princess Luna. I could tell because her mane and tail flowed with the wind. She looked down at me with pity and regret.
“I’m so sorry Autumn” she said telepathically.
“Its ok Princess, always willing to die for you” I replied.
“Here” she said quietly.
She touched me with her horn and my health bar shot up to 500% once more. I got up and staggered a bit. I looked at my friends and then at Princess Luna. I looked at the blade inside of me, only to see it wasn’t there.
“Princess you should be going” I said.
“Who are you talking to?” Nightingale asked confusedly.
“What?” I asked.
I looked over at Princess Luna, only to see she wasn’t there anymore.
“Oh, no pony really” I said once more.
“If you say so” Flamebell said.
“Lets find some shelter, this is the lightest part of the storm” Wrapy said.
After a few moments of trotting, we came up on this old house. We looked at each other and shrugged simultaneously. I found that funny, first day out and we are already finding more about ourselves.
“In the morning we should keep heading to Manehattan” Nightingale told us.
We all nodded and headed to find our rooms. Before I went to sleep, I took off my helmet and sighed.
“Damn, this place got the hell beat out of it” I thought.
“And I’ll have to ask how exactly these malfested ponies came to be…malfested” I thought once more.
I put my helmet back on and closed my eyes. My spot in the house was in the corner, so I’m going to sleep in a ball? I shrugged and leaned on the wall, resting peacefully. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for us, were going to Manehattan.
I awoke early the next morning. I blinked a bit and got up from the floor I apparently fell onto during the night. I heard a clatter from outside. I switched to my G Blades and snuck out. No pony else was awake that early so whatever was out here, I planned to dispose of it quickly. I looked up on the roof, nothing was there. I looked behind the house, nothing was there either. Then I looked to the side of the house, an unpleasant site it was to see. A very thin pony with tentacles and a suit with was tapping on the window. Then he “looked” at me, he had no face. I switched to no weapons at all and trotted up to “him.”
“You sir, need to find some other dimension. We already have a shortage on ponies here” I told him politely.
“He” looked at me and started tapping on my visor. I sighed and let him tap on it some more. I turned to walk back in, only to see him following me. I kept walking and he used his tentacle to keep tapping on my visor. We walked inside and I called out to the Wrapped pony. He came down quietly and saw my “friend”. He wasn’t scared at all, despite that he had no face.
“That’s Slender Mane” he said.
“I know that, but why is he here?” I asked.
“Ask him” Wrapy replied.
I looked at Slender Mane and asked him why he was here. He stopped tapping and got up in my face. He spoke nothing but just looked at me, then something hit me. He was here to say hello to Wrapy.
“hey Slender Mane” Wrapy said.
Wrapy took a loose wrapping and used it as a tentacle. He wrapped up Slender Mane’s face and unwrapped it. Then Slender Mane disappeared into oblivion.
“The hell was that?” I asked quietly.
“Just saying hi the fourth dimensional way,” Wrapy replied.
“How are you fourth dimensional?” I asked eagerly.
“Lets take a walk C-01Ts,” he said as he turned to walk out.
“Ok” I said as I followed.
After we got about a few hooves away he started with “let me tell you a story, Autumn,”
“About a stallion who felt that he deserved to die for what he did” he went on.
“This stallion thought it would be best to kill himself. And that’s what he did, only to find that he woke up the next morning. He found this odd and decided to try again. He kept trying, still waking up the next morning after he tried. Eventually he stopped and sought to find help. He did, but he found Slender Mane. Slender Mane explained to him that he had become fourth dimensional. The stallion had thought about this, and decided to go into stalking like slender pony. And he’s been around since the invasion first began” he explained.
“So that explains it eh?” I asked nicely.
“Yep that’s about it,” he replied.
We heard a gunshot and saw a bullet hole in the ground beside us. We looked up and saw a Black Watch Pegasus, glaring at us and fully armored like me. I switched to my rail gun and took my shot, he dodged it and fired off his own weapon. It was a rocket launcher. This bounty hunter was known as “Blacklight”. He was a fully armored bounty hunter, with a larger variety of weapons than I had. His armor was fully black with a red visor like mine and red lights on his armor’s shoulder, thigh, legs, and helmet. His current weapon looked like my rail gun, only it was black and had a red clip instead of blue. He turned his visor opaque so we couldn’t see his expression. He shot Wrapy with his rail gun and that sent him flying away from the field we were in. I looked back at him, his weapon was recharging. I shot once more, this time it hit.
“Damn!!” he said as he fell off the cloud.
The shot stunned him, so he couldn’t flare his landing. When he fell, blood shot out from his side. He got up and shot a rocket at me with his rocket launcher. I slowed down time and galloped over to the rocket. Just as it was about to hit, I jumped over it, causing Blacklight to miss. I switched to my shotgun and galloped over to him, and set the time back to normal. He saw this and switched to his G Blades. I shot at about 4 hooves away. He slowed down time and mirrored my bullets. They came right back at me and I had nowhere to go. They hit me, sending me back. He galloped up to me while I was unstable and uppercut me with more speed and power than I had ever seen or felt. This caused my health to drop bellow 60%. As he was preparing another hit, I pulled out my rail gun. My shot hit him, and staggered him. I galloped up and buck kicked him further back. I switched to my C-01r and opened fire. This sent him back with such momentum and force that when he hit the ground he rolled a bit. I trotted over to him and an indicator popped up.
“You can use telekinesis to pick things up without touching them by holding out your hoof and concentrating on the object.” it said.
I concentrated on Blacklight and held him up with my telekinesis. A little white ball appeared over his head as I did that.
“Draw…your final breath” I said tauntingly as I let him go.
He looked up and galloped away. I took my shot through his leg, causing him to fall.
“Fool” I thought.
I galloped towards him and held him down once more. Then Wrapy came up from behind and a hidden blade spouted from his hoof.
“Your deeds…condemn you” he said as he put the blade through Blacklight’s visor.
“I‘ll see you in hell” I told the now dead Blacklight.
“We should probably get going” I told Wrapy.
He nodded and continued to trot back towards the house. It took us about five minutes to get over there and back, overall ten minutes in that little trip we took. We knew that it was still pretty early and if we started that way, we could get a headstart. Wrapy told me that the fastest way to get to “my” time machine was through Manehattan. After we got to our temporary home, we got our few supplies and started to wake everypony else up. After everypony was awake, we headed out. Heading for Manehattan.
*** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***
The road to Manehattan, by the Everfree forest
Though going by road wasn’t really a smart idea, where else was there to go? The land was singed and stripped of any grass or shrubbery. Except the Everfree forest, it was just a landmass of dead, singed trees. I thought of walking through it, but then something caught my eye. I zoomed in and saw a black pony in a hood staring back at me, with a smirk on his face.
“Hey, who is that?” I asked Winter.
“Hmm? Oh, that’s Adriano Adalfiere. He’s an assassin for The Society” Winter replied.
“What is his current mission?” I asked nicely.
“And why is he smiling?” I asked once more.
“He smiles because he doesn’t want anypony to know his personality, he has a different expression everyday. His current mission is to assassinate the Black Watch mayor of Manehattan.” Winter replied.
I looked over at the now gone Adriano and continued to trot on.
“I wonder, what time it will be when we get there?” Flamebell asked.
“About 6:00” Winter replied.
In unison, the rest of us, we all started saying “Yeah.” Despite the fact it was about 10:00 a.m. I ignored it. When Winter Wind said something, he knew he was right about it. I first noticed that yesterday and the night before, he said what ever it was with such calmness that it sounded like he was planning at least 4 steps ahead.
“Stop, its an Usurpation camp. But usually the have some sort of mine or facility built under it for reinforcements.” Nightingale said quietly.
I looked over and saw a few concrete buildings in a circle. We all agreed on one thing, that was to destroy the camp. We found a hill to hide behind and spied on the camp.
“Gratta che, we will get there at about ten if we do this” Winter said.
Although I don’t know any bitalian, I could tell it meant something bad. Flamebell offered me to go with him to take out the guards. We all agreed on that and Flamebell and I were slowly heading to the camp.
*** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***
Outside the camp
Flamebell and I started on opposite sides of the camp, so if one of us got caught we could save each other easily. I started going behind a building and saw an Usurpation Soldier come around the corner. I pinned myself to the wall, hoping it would give me cover. It didn’t so when it looked at me, I switched to my G Blades and put one through its visor. Blue blood spewed out and onto the ground. I looked away and continued our mission. I looked to the center of the camp and saw more enslaved ponies and foals. Then I saw Usurpations executing them one by one. I saw one foal begging a Usurpian soldier to spare him, then a bullet hole appeared in his head. I slowed down time and galloped into the middle where at least 18 Usurpians murdering these ponies and foals. I picked one up with telekinesis and threw him into my blades. He fell over and I saw 17 Usurpian soldiers charging at me. I changed time back to normal and took a fighting stance. I killed the first one by slicing his neck open. Then the second by stabbing him through the shoulder. I backed up and prepared for the next Usurpian to charge at me. When he did, I pulled my hoof back and stabbed his head. I jumped over him, with my blade still in him, and ripped his head off. I threw it at another Usurpian soldier, knocking him back. I jumped and dived towards him, stabbing his neck with my blades, and ripped them out , decapitating him. The next Usurpian came up behind me, he didn’t last very long after I spun around and sliced his head open. Three more charged at me, I prepared my blades by scraping them together. Then something weird happened. Plazma bullets shot out of the blade I scraped. I waited for one Usurpian to get close enough to me so I could get an accurate shot. When he did, I let him have it. It broke him in two and sent him into a wall. The next Usurpian threw a punch. He missed and I stabbed his head. I spun his lifeless body around and around and let him go. He went flying into a wall, he hit it so hard that he cracked it. I turned around and saw another Usurpian coming towards me. After he got close enough, I pulled up both of my blades. This took both his front legs off and caused him to back flip into the air. He landed a few feet away on another Usurpian soldier. I went offensive this time and went for an Usurpian against a wall. I buck kicked him so hard that it left a hole in the wall. He fell over forwards, dead. I changed to my C-01r and started opening fire. I killed about seven more Usurpians after I stopped shooting. I trotted over to the Usurpian that I threw the body of another at. He couldn’t get up so this made it easy for me to kill him. I took out my rail gun and shot his head. It was filled with so much force that it caused his body to stand up. He was headless and lifeless. So I just pushed him down, and trotted over his body towards the enslaved ponies. While I was freeing the ponies, Flamebell finally showed up.
“Where the hell have you been?” I asked.
“Taking out those other Usurpian soldiers behind the camp.” he replied.
“There were more?” I asked.
“Yes, about 20 more” he replied in an honest voice.
“What? How? We didn’t see them when we were over on the hill,” I said.
“They have mother bucking back doors to these things” he replied.
“Damn those Usurpations, Damn them to the moon!” I thought.
I turned away from Flamebell and trotted over to the body of the young colt that was killed. I looked down at him with such sorrow that I didn’t even notice Flamebell and Winter put their hooves on my back. I turned around and saw them looking at me while Nightingale and Wrapy freed the enslaved ponies. I turned back around and kissed the colt on the head, sending my prayers to Princess Celestia. I trotted over to a mare who couldn’t stop crying, she was alone. I trotted up and asked “was that your colt?”
“Vweis?” (Geomanian for “what?”) she replied.
“Min apologheic tin yur kolt” (Geomanian for “My apologies to your colt”) I told the mare.
She sniffled a bit then replied “jshonke” (Geomanian for “Thank you”). I gave her a nod and trotted on with Flamebell and Winter.
After all the ponies were out and galloping away, we turned our attention to down bellow in the Usurpian’s camp.

“Hot damn, its crowded as hell in here” Nightingale said.
“Shhmhh!” Winter silenced Nightingale.
We continued walking in our little group until we got to a fork in the pathway we had. We looked at each other and decided to split up.
“Winter, you should go with Autumn” Flamebell suggested.
“Ok, I agree. Buona idea” Winter said.
We split up and Winter and I headed down the pathway which turned into a hallway the more we walked through it. An indicator popped up as I looked up and said “Advanced Usurpation Soldier.” All I could see was metal and a little concrete. But the indicator insisted on it being there so Winter and I decided to check it out.
“Stop” Winter whispered.
Well apparently Winter saw it and decided to take him out. He disappeared for about ten seconds, then the Usurpation fell from whatever it was the Usurpation Soldier was standing on. I looked at it for a minute, it had a full body of armor like mine. His helmet had red streaks on it along with a bit of blue on the edges. Turquoise blood was oozing from his neck, side, and visor. I looked at it for a bit more then trotted on. Winter had taken out the other Usurpations in the room the whole time I stood there. I felt bad that I didn’t help him. He looked at me and turned around, as if he didn’t mind. I shrugged and continued on. Eventually we got to the engine room. Winter and I looked at each other deviously. “Blow this damn thing to the moon” we said in unison. I had a few grenades and decided to use them. We heard so clopping towards our direction. Winter peaked out and motioned somepony to come to us. It was Flamebell.
“Where’s the others?” Winter asked.
“Another luna damned fork in the pathway” he replied.
“Aww hell” I said.
After I was finished with the charges, we set out to look for Wrapy and Nightingale. While we were trotting down a hallway, I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I stopped and looked at it. It was a few Usurpation Soldiers checking up on something in a room. I was going to do this quietly and nicely. I crept into the room and switched to my blades. Right as they turned around, they got a hoof full of blades. I pulled them out and held them for a second. I let them fall silently and galloped out, hoping I could catch up with Winter and Flamebell. Eventually I did, and everypony was ready. We had found Nightingale and Wrapy all geared up and replenished in supplies. We turned to be on our way, and saw a rather buff Usurpation Soldier looking straight at us. Winter galloped at him and buck kicked him so hard as to simply stagger him. The Usurpation, however, got pissed and picked Winter up with a hoof. I switched to my shotgun and galloped up to him. I grabbed onto his neck, held on tight, and started shooting. This did nothing. The Usurpian put Winter down and grabbed me. He held me up and threw me down with a thud. I tried to get up, then he held me down with one hoof. I looked up and saw him looking at Wrapy. Wrapy, however, used a few loose wrappings as tentacles and picked up the Usurpian. Wrapy, threw the Usurpian into the room we were in and told us to run. We all ran to the place we were before and set off the charges. When we got out, we saw a huge explosion go off around the whole camp. It literally blew a hole in the ground, so inside of the perimeter of the camp, the whole landmass was collapsing. Winter flew into the air as the land was falling. I looked down and saw I was about to be spiked by a pointed rock. I fell onto the rock and blacked out.
The next thing I knew I was on the ground outside of a city. I saw Black Watch guards all over the balconies and walls of the place. This was Manehattan. As I looked up, I saw the sky was turning and Shade of orange, red, and yellow. It was sunset.
Manehattan
I looked around and saw no red tint or shade to my surroundings. My helmet was off. I looked to the side and saw a little reflection of me, I was wearing a hoody under my armor. How they got it of, I had no idea, but this hoody felt familiar. It felt like my special hoody back at home. I turned my head and saw my cutie mark on the hood. I looked beside me and saw my helmet, with a huge hole in it. Anypony could’ve seen my face if I wore it so I suppose it made sense to take it off. But was it necessary? My head could’ve been taken clean off from my neck if I didn’t have it on. I looked on a balcony and saw a Black Watch guard looking straight at me. I could tell that something was about to go down, even if my friends weren’t in the area.
