Ponyville is looking very sunny today. In this peaceful town, many mares do live peacefully. Carrot Top is an example. Her home is a 2-story home, greenery everywhere and carrot plants in her backyard's garden. The inside is green carpet floor

and white walls. In her bedroom lies a sleeping Carrot Top. Her orange color and carrot cutie-mark signifying a carrot

passion. She stirs and opens an eye. "Sunday," she thought. "What time is it?" She looked to the clock which read 9am sharp. She opened both her eyes and sat up.

*YAWN*

She got out of bed and made her way to the door to get the mail. Since her door had a mail slot, she thought it made it really easy to get the mail. A stack of mail was on the ground at the door. She went over to the stack and sorted through the mail until a particular letter caught her eye. It was pink with hearts everywhere. She opened it to see a love letter inside. It read:

Dear Carrot Top:

My name is Green. I've always loved you. I've never been able to say it out loud as I've been too nervous to talk to you directly. I feel this is a better way. Why would I love you? You have that special something only you have. I don't know what it is, but it makes you special. I like your orange fur and carrot cutie-mark. I also like your mane when it's longer. I'd like to go out on a date with you. Please meet me at Sugarcube Corner at 7pm. I hope you'll be there.

Love, Green.

As she finished the letter, she noticed her cheeks burning red. She was asked out on a date. She was really excited, shown by the hopping around her home after reading the love letter. She ran to her bathroom to see how she looked before getting ready for the date. She looked at her reflection and noticed her mane was as long as it was when the town went nuts over her mane. She remembered that the note said that Green liked her mane like that, so she thought it'd be only fitting to make it look like before.

After a while, she was ready. Her mane was neat and beautiful. Her fur was neatly groomed and makeup had been applied. She looked at the clock to see it was 6:00pm. She decided to head over to Sugarcube Corner, skipping along the path to Ponyville in a lively trot. She ran into several ponies on the way like Cranky Doodle and Matilda, Applejack and Fluttershy. She made her way to Sugarcube Corner. She noticed a nervous looking alicorn. He had green fur, a green mane and a bow-tie on his neck.

[1st Person]

I looked up to see a vision of beauty known as Carrot Top. I smiled and watched as she trotted up to me. "Are you Green?" she asked.

"That's me. Hello, Carrot Top. You look lovely tonight," I said. She blushed. I hold the door for her as we entered. It was quaint and very...well...nice. We sat at a table. I ordered a chocolate cupcake and she ordered a small carrot cake.

"So...why do you love me?" Carrot asked. I quickly got nervous.

"I-I love everything about you. Your a hard worker with growing carrots, your beautiful, your strong and your mane is gorgeous. I just don't see why I wouldn't,"  I answered. She blushed furiously.

"Thank you." She quickly pecked me on the cheek and now I blushed.

"All right, lovebirds. Here's Pinkie with your sweets," Pinkie trotted over, gave us our treats and left to serve more treats.

After eating, we talked and found out a lot about each other we never knew. We walked into the park and laid in the grass. She loves to stargaze as much as I do. We watched the sky for a while. "Green?" she asked. I looked over at her.

"Yeah?"

She rolled over to me and ended up over me, looking seductively at me. She put her hoof on my belly and slowly brought it up to my muzzle while saying, "I had a lot of fun tonight. I've figured out that..." She looked into my eyes. "...I love you, too." She then put her muzzle to mine and kissed me. It...was...wow. All this goodness from the two of us locking muzzles. We broke it after a minute. I then hugged her, kissed her and rolled around in the grass with her. It was a lot of fun.

Epilogue

Carrot Top gently awoke in her bed, opening one eye and turned toward me. She smiled and put her hoofs around my body. I smiled, too.
