It was a normal day for 4 young ponies. Playing, drinking milkshakes and laughing together. The four of them headed towards Everfree Forest, where there Club House was.

"I finally got my Cutie Mark! I can't believe it!" Tia screamed as she ran through the forest, grinning like a cheshire cat.

"Well done Tia, It's almost as beautiful as you!" Dizzy replied from somewhere on Tia's left.

"Psh, big Deal. I got mine before ya Sis!" Lulu laughed jokingly.

"Ugh, I'll never get one!" Chrys screamed, broken hearted at her differences.

"Yeah but that's because you are a more Awesome breed of Pony to us Chrys. And remember, Dizzy won't get one neither." Tia screamed over the howling winds.

"Almost there! Keep going!" Lulu exclaimed all of a sudden.

"I'm going to beat all of you silly ponies!" Dizzy laughed demonically then normally.

"You scare me sometimes Dizzy. But I still love you!" Tia giggled childishly.

"Love you too loser!" Dizzy called from ahead.

"Aww no fair. You just teleported there!" The three fillies cried.

"Ya snooze, ya loose." Dizzy replied.

The exhausted ponies collapsed on the lush green grass in front of their fort. It was a huge stone building which they had fixed up using Magic and Wing-Power.  

"Shall we go on in now? Or will we wait out here until the Sun and Moon switch places?" Chrys asked tentatively.

"Okay Chrys. Something troubling you?" Asked Lulu kindly, earning her an approving smile from Tia.

"Nothing. I'm just hungry and exhausted. Not a great combo really." Chrys sighed.

"Let's getcha inside then my dears." Dizzy said, bored of the forest. The four of them entered the Fort, quickly gravitating to their own specific parts of it. Lulu and Tia sat next to each other on thrones made of stone and moss, whilst Chrys and Dizzy moved towards separate sides of the huge room.  Tia and Lulu were pretending to be princesses and curtseying and bowing to each other, then collapsing in fits of giggles. Dizzy moved towards them and bowed humbly to each sister in turn.

"Lulu. Tia. Your servant." Dizzy put on a posh butler voice. This made Tia and Lulu crack up into even more hysterical laughter, this time with Dizzy joining in. Chrys flew over and was soon rolling on the floor in tears at the joke. All four of them lay there, giggling slightly every now and then. And then it became serious.

"Tia, When you grow up, will you forget about me?" Chrys asked with a slight hint of sadness in her voice.

"Or me?" Dizzy enquired.

"Nah, course not. How could I forget my two best friends?!" Tia smiled.

"But, what if you do?" Chrys and Dizzy asked at the same time.

"We wont. Will we sis?" Lulu asked Tia and her reply was a swift shake of the head from the older sister.

"I'm bored, let's play hide and seek." Tia bursts out suddenly.

"Yeah! I'm counting!" Dizzy cried.

"Aww but you always count!!" Lulu stomped her hoof in protest.

"Fine you count." Dizzy smirked, then poofed into nothingness.

"1 2 3 4..." Lulu started counting. Chrys and Tia looked at each other comically and then hoofed it to the best spot they could find to hide in.

"...9 10! Ready or Not, I'm coming!" Lulu cried. She ran all around the huge room and found Chrys in no time.

"Awwww!" Chrys cried, but agreed to be counting next. Lulu was trotting to an obvious hiding spot when suddenly she heard a crack. Lulu gazed up at the ceiling and leaped out of harms way just in time. The ceiling caved in and fell right on top of that spot.

"GUYS! WERE ANY OF YOU HIDING THERE?" Lulu cried, desperate to hear Dizzy's booming voice, Chrys' pealing laughter or her sister's cheerful squeaks.

"Oh no! Tia was under there!" Dizzy frantically tried digging at the rubble to no avail. He then use his magic to try and lift it all but he wasn't strong enough.

"Lulu, Chrys, help meee!" He squealed, gasping as he fought against his magic to move the rubble. The combined magic of the three of them was enough to lift most of the larger pieces. And once those had been removed a dusty white coat and familiar smile lay awaiting them. Blood covered her face but Tia was wearing a humoured smile.

"That... Was... Awesome." She whispered feebly.

"Let's get her to Zecona. She'll know what to do!" Chrys exclaimed.

The three strong ponies stood up and used magic to carry Tia out of their Fort. They carried her to a weird house in Everfree and knocked.

"Zecona, are you in there?!"  Lulu shouted.

"Simple Ponies, worry not.

Zecona is here, with wood to rot." Came a mysterious voice from inside.

"Can we come in?!" Lulu asked.

"Inside you come,

Be quick, Be quick.

For monsters will crush and snap you like a stick." Zecona whispered. Lulu and Dizzy opened the door as Chrys and Dizzy used magic to carry Tia. They stood there looking for the pony with the comforting voice and saw a Zebra. A very Pregnant Zebra.

"Eep." Dizzy froze, staring at his old enemy. The Zebra.

"DIZZY!" Chrys shouted in his ear as he regained control over his magic.

"I... I... I can't be here!" Dizzy muttered, turning flank and running out of the forest. Luckily Tia had been placed on the floor before-hoof.

"What the hay was that about?" Chrys asked nopony in particular.

"That Dizzy Rascal,

Knows me quite well,

To his Mother,

Herbs did I sell." Zecona glanced at Tia. The Zebra found some potions and bandages and soon Tia was in ship shape.

"Ugh. I have the WORST headache in all of Equestria." Tia exclaimed as they started the slow ascent to Canterlot.

Back in Canterlot Tia decided she would go to her favourite stall in all of Equestria.

"Heya Donut Jim, How is Jemima?" Asked Tia, smiling as Jim procured a bag of her favourite pink sprinkled donuts from the secret compartment in the stall.

"Oh just fine, How are you Tia? You've got a nasty bruise on your head Darling!" Jim exclaimed.

"Oh it's nothing! Thanks for the donuts!" Tia yelled as she saw Dizzy through the crowd.

"Dizzyyyyyyy! How could you leave me like that? I thought I was your mare-friend!" Tia whinnied as she pulled up closer to him.

"I just had to Tia! I'm so afraid of Zebra's!" Dizzy pouted as tears streamed down his face.

"Well I don't care anymore! We are not friends, or anything more!" Tia shouted, then she ran home to cry on her bed.

At school the next day Tia ignored Dizzy completely, and by luncheon she had found a new friend to replace him.

"Heya Lulu, Chrys. This is my new colt-friend; Bree!" Tia squealed, not even glancing at Dizzy who was sitting in between Lulu and Chrys.

"Um, whatever." Chrys sneered, glaring at Tia like she had just committed murder.

"Yeah, Who cares? It's not like you are forget SomePONY." Lulu shouted, bursting into angry tears.

"Lulu, Chrys, Whatever is wrong?" Tia asked innocently.

"JUST BECAUSE DIZZY COULDN'T STAND ZEBRA'S YOU PUSHED HIM AWAY! YOU PROMISED YOU WOULDN'T FORGET US! HOW CAN YOU PROMISE ME THAT NOW?!" Chrys screamed for all of the Dining Hall to hear.

"How can you say that? I would never forget you Chrys!" Tia exclaimed as she put a hoof to Chrys' shoulder. Chrys whirled around to face Tia and smacked her right on the cheek. Chrys then stormed off with Lulu and Dizzy hot on her hooves.

"Come on Bree, let's go." Tia whispered, breaking the deafening silence.

"Okay." Bree muttered in his husky, romantic voice.

Later that day Tia journeyed to the fort, hoping to find her friends waiting for her. Only to find a distressed Lulu crying and holding a piece of parchment with her magic.

"Lu...lulu?" Tia whispered, slowly trotting up to her sister.

"He... He... He's gone!" Lulu cried.

"Dizzy?! No!" Tia gasped, tears welling up in her eyes.

"YES AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!" Lulu hollered at her saddened sister, building up magic in her horn.

"Lulu, I never meant..." Tia started.

"You never meant to push him away, to make him want to die?! To make him resort to THIS?! Chaos and Disharmony, everything Mother and Father tried to protect!" Lulu screeched, her magic transforming her body.

"Luna! Whatever is happening?!" Celestia cried, eyes wide and staring at her little sister.

"I don't know!" Luna screamed, terror and fear feeding her magic and transforming her into...

"I AM NIGHTMARE MOON! ETERNAL NIGHT SHALL REIGN UPON YOU DEAR SISTER, AND YOU SHALL EXPERIENCE THE FEAR AND LONELINESS YOU HAVE BROUGHT TO OUR FRIENDSHIPS!" Luna cried, flapping her wings and becoming yet another speck of black in the night she had raised.

In Fillydelphia, Discord was crying. The sadness and heartbreak that had been brought by Celestia's rejection had incurred a change in him. His form was not of a Pony, but that was normal. His mind was the thing affected. The main emotion he felt was anger, then betrayal, then chaos. His magic and wings carried him back to Canterlot, where he started the destruction of Pony Society.

Back at her home, Chrysalis was switching forms quicker than Rainbow Blitzem, the fastest Captain of the Wonderbolts since his Father. Her anger with Celestia was boiling her insides and her mother was not helping.

"I told you that being nice wasn't going to work. You are pathetic! Why cry when you can wreak havoc and destruction on all she holds dear." Her mother called through the door.

"SHUT IT MOTHER, YOU COULDN'T EVEN KEEP ME IN THE HIVE MIND! YOU ARE THE PATHETIC ONE!" Chrysalis screamed and yelled, her knife of Changelings was in her magic, and pretty soon her Mother was dead on the floor.

"I AM THE QUEEN, HONOUR AND RESPECT ME OR YOU SHALL ALL FEAR MY WRATH!" Chrysalis' voice echoed through the caverns and through the Hive Mind.

Outside Canterlot, Sombre was trotting towards the gates with a blackness in his heart like no other. He was rejected by Luna AND Chrysalis, not to mention dumped by Celestia in front of all his Friends. He had never been so Humiliated. Sombre's eyes were glowing and Black Hatred spilled from them in stead of tears. His magic shot up into the air and rebound from a crystal embedded in the mountain protecting Canterlot. The magic that rebounded created Black Evil crystals that trapped and struck down Pony's and Royal guards alike.

"Luna..." Celestia began, remembering the monstrosity that had stood before her.

Nightmare Moon, Sombre, Discord and Chrysalis all met in the Throne Room of Canterlot Palace, King Solar and Queen Lunar lying dead before them.

"We took this too far." Discord said simply.

"I... I think so." Chrysalis replied.

"CELESTIA SHALL NEVER FORGIVE US!" Nightmare Moon wailed, speaking for the whole group.

"I only meant to trap them, never to kill them..." Sombre stated, as though mere thoughts could rewind the chaos and destruction they had caused.

"My friends... Became Killers. My Sister... Murdered her own parents. Why?" Celestia's voice echoed from the doorway.

"You left Discord and you promised never to. You would've left me too!" Chrysalis explained.

"You left me broken hearted and ignored me! You couldn't stand me! Just because I was afraid!" Discord wailed.

"Your Sister and Friends rejected our love, you then rejected me in front of MY friends." Sombre showed the bitterness in his heart.

"I understand you too LULU." Celestia spoke as she stormed regally towards the four of them. She held something in her magic that they couldn't see. Well, Sombre could see them, the Elements. He took off, just out of the blue.

"COME BACK YOU COWARD!" Discord screamed at the top of his lungs. Celestia summoned the Elements and wore the Crown with a purple star set into it. She then slid the different necklaces onto her slender neck one by one, the orange apple, the pink butterfly, the blue balloon, the red lightning bolt and the dark purple gem. Celestia's horn glowed with power and Chrysalis turned to see identical looks of horror on her friend's faces. She turned and looked at the steely determination in Tia's face and the tears in her eyes.

"Tia." She said only word. The force of Celestia's new power dispatched of the three remaining villains. Celestia had Chrysalis returned to the Changeling Kingdom, Discord was turned to stone and placed in the... No, her Royal Gardens. Luna was placed in the Moon for a thousand years. And the Elements were placed in a chest, locked into the family vault and kept secret. She would deal with Sombre, and maybe even Chrysalis, if they caused too much trouble.
