Six Shades of Rainbow
Chapter 1: The Pryamid
Load Full Story Next ChapterRainbow Dash flew slowly over the Everfree Forest, keeping her eye out for anything that might be interesting. I don’t know why all those chickens talk about this dumb Forest so much, it’s not even that scary! Rainbow Dash thought.
Then again she was only getting the view of it from up above, and it was during the day. Though she didn’t care, she promised herself that if she saw anything that might be scary or cool she’d stop and check it out.
So far after fifteen minutes of flying, not a single scary or cool thing popped up and for Rainbow Dash fifteen minutes was an eternity. She was starting to get aggravated, and began to fly faster hoping something would catch her eye.
Yet as she jet passed all the trees below her something shined in her eyes and caused her to stop. She flew so fast however that it took a moment for her to actually come to a complete spot and she had to back track a little to find the shiny thingamajig.
Yet after a moment she spotted the item flew down towards it. When Rainbow Dash reached the ground she could see that the object was a giant glass pyramid sitting at the edge of a cliff.
Rainbow Dash circled the prism, looking for any indication on who might have made such an out of place object. Yet there were no etchings or anything. She walked up to put her hoof on it, and when she did her hoof went right through the glass.
“Whoa!” Rainbow Dash exclaimed. She put her other hoof in and before she knew it she had completely stepped inside the pyramid.
She looked around and saw the skewed world around her. Rainbow Dash was hypnotized, and thought she had to go and show the others. However when she put her hoof out to leave, she simply tapped the glass.
“Huh?” She said out loud, “Guess you can’t go out the same way you came in.”
She walked to the other side of the pyramid, but again when she tried to leave the glass did not give way.
“What the-?” she said. Then Rainbow Dash tried all the other sides, but had to same result. Now she was beginning to worry, and flew up to try and bust her way out of the pyramid, but she simply bounced off the glass and fell to the floor with a massive headache.
“Ow, stupid glass!” Rainbow Dash sat there for a moment and looked around her trying to see if there was anything she could do to get out of there.
As she looked out she noticed the sun starting to come out from behind a cloud. Just as the sun rays hit the prism, a large white light enveloped Rainbow Dash. She started to get a feeling in her chest that didn’t feel quite right, and her mind began to rush with thoughts and emotions that went by way to fast for her to keep up.
The ray grew stronger and stronger and a loud ringing busted her eardrums. Rainbow Dash was on the floor when she woke up. She felt strange as she came to. It felt as if someone had taken the food in her stomach and she was left empty.
“Hey you must be a bike cause you look tired!” said a voice that giggled after it spoke.
Rainbow Dashed turned around and saw herself standing across the prism smiling. She was so confused, she wondered why there was another pegasus standing in the prism, however the other her didn’t have the usual cyan coat, instead it was substituted with a yellow color.
“What the hell was that all about!” said another voice from within the prism. It came from another Rainbow Dash, however this ones coat was completely red, and she wore a permanent frown.
Rainbow Dash looked all around her and saw that there were six other Rainbow Dashes standing around her. They were all separate colors Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple.
“What’s going on here?” the real Rainbow Dash asked.
“It is a curious situation isn’t,” said a Purple Rainbow Dash.
“I don’t care, I’m tired. I’m gonna go find a cloud to nap on,” the Orange Rainbow Dash said and flew off going right through the glass effortlessly.
“Wait what?” Rainbow Dash yelled.
“Don’t worry I’ll go get her!” said Yellow RD also going through the glass prism.
“Hey wanna have a race?” the asked Green Rainbow Dash to the Blue Rainbow Dash. However Blue RD looked away and flew as fast as she could. The Green RD simply laughed and chased after her counterpart.
“Whoa wait a second wait a second everyone come back!”
“You’re not the boss of me you can’t tell me what to do!” Red RD yelled and zipped across the pyramid and flew far away.
“No!” Yelled Rainbow Dash and she tried running after her, but like before she smacked right into the glass of the prism.
Rainbow Dash was completely confused now, and had no idea what was going on. She turned around and saw that the purple Rainbow Dash was still in the prism with her. “I understand your confusion Rainbow Dash, but do not fret; I will go get help and figure out what has taken place.”
“Wait what? How are you going to help? Stay here with me” Rainbow Dash yelled and chased after the purple pony, but she exited the pyramid before it Rainbow Dash could catch her.
“Please don’t leave, please! Please!” Rainbow Dash hit the glass to try and break it, but with no luck. She fell to the ground and wrapped her hooves around her knees, wanting to cry.
However when she looked at her knees, she noticed that she was not her usual cyan color either. She was completely white and her mane was dark grey. The prism had taken the color and most something more right out of her.
