The surface he was laying on felt hard and uncomfortable.

"Great. We're back in than damn prison."

But something felt soft. Something his head was on top of. Then their was something silky on top of him
He felt warm again. Whether this was a dream or for real, he didn't care. He was cosy and at ease. Pictures of fluffy cloud beds and thick blankets filled his mind. Then the stallion's head filled with something else. Something more worrying. In front of him was a grubby cyan mare. Her now dirty and dull mane covered her face. Her wings drenched with blood. Feathers were no longer attached to them. Scarlet red liquid dripped from her mouth and snout. Slashes were marked across her body. Dribbling with more blood. Her eyes. Her usually bright and beautiful eyes were now grey. As if drained of it's fire. Tears streamed down her cheeks. The mare opened her mouth to speak but was struck down from an unknown object. Now she lay dead in front of him. A unicorn stood over the lifeless mare. His evil grin beaming down onto the lying stallion. Suddenly, chains were around his legs. The blanket and pillow disappeared and his pale blue wings were now bound against his sides by a strong metal and leather belt. The unicorn glared evilly at the bound pegasus. His yellow eyes burning through the pegasus. Then he began to laugh.

"Your precious one is dead!! And there was nothing you could have done to save her!!" He cackled.

The pegasus stallion cried and tried to reach for the dead mare but his hoof couldn't reach her. The unicorn laughed and laughed some more.

"Don't worry, Wonderbolt. I made sure she was punished before she died. I love it when mare's beg. Especially when she begged for your freedom." His manic laughed echoed throughout the cell. The Wonderbolt cried as he called out the mare's name.

"Rainbow...."

"Soarin. Soarin wake up."

"...no...Rainbow...don't...leave her alone..." The ice blue stallion muttered under his breath. Talking while he slept. A cyan mare gently shook him. Concerned for the stallion. He tossed and turned under the midnight blue blanket.

"Soarin. Wake up." The light blue mare whispered. Hoping to wake the other pony. But he wouldn't wake up.
"Soarin! Shift your flank and get the bloody hell up!!" She demanded. The stallion shot up with a worried and confused expression.

"Huh? Rainbow? Wait. Where are we?" Soarin frantically asked. He scanned the area. He was in a big room with bookcases. Two beds and a small basket. On the left of the room were large glass doors, leading up to a large balcony. He was sitting in a wooden bed with plain blue sheets. Opposite was another bed but the sheets was coated with white stars.

"We're in Twilight's, Soarin. We made it out." Rainbow leaned forwards towards the stallion. Both of their lips touching. Their mouths connected to each other. Rainbow leaned onto Soarin. Drawing them into a hug. Soarin wrapped his forelegs around the sleek mare. Their tongues wrestling inside their mouths as they shared their passionate love. After a couple of minutes, the two ponies separated. A string of saliva connecting between them. The two ponies stared into each other's eyes. Gazing into the sea of either sparkling rose or glimmering emerald.

"But how? The guards surrounded us. You were unconscious. Dead nearly."

"Yes, but we had a little help."

"The princesses helped us?"

"No. Not the Princesses. Somepony else. Well, someone else."

"Who?"

"You'll find out soon enough. He's downstairs helping the others. Now come on." Rainbow jumped out of the spare bed. Bandages were wrapped her injured wings. Scars from her punishment were still visible on her sides. But were slightly covered with blue make up powder. Soarin reluctantly followed but as soon as he fluttered out, Rainbow stopped dead in her tracks.

"Soarin. I know we're together. And I do love you. But...don't tell the others." She pleaded.

"Why not?"

"We can tell them after all if this mess. After this war. The rest of the Lords have already attack half of Equestria."

"Still."

"Soarin. Please. Just kept it quiet for now." Rainbow stared at Soarin. Her eyes begging for him to agree with her. Soarin's expression softened and he nodded.

"Okay. I'll keep quiet."

"Thank you!!" The assassin ran up and hugged her loved one. Embracing his warmth.

The two ponies trotted down the stairs. Their hoof-steps echoing as they tapped the wooden staircase.

"Rainbow! Soarin! You're awake! Good!!" A purple alicorn hugged her blue friend. "Spitfire and Thunder are still asleep but they're in Rarity's boutique. But Rarity is still here. Spike is over there. And it wasn't particularly hard to get them there." The egghead princess smiled and bounced off towards and sat next to three other alicorns and an unusual creature sitting upon a pink cloud.

"Hey Discord." Rainbow waved nonchalantly to the draconequus. Who waved back. But Soarin stood there. Frozen to his spot. His mouth hung wide. Staring at the spirit of chaos upon his cotton candy cloud. Which Pinkie Pie was licking her lips at.

"D-D-Discord?! But....but.." He stuttered.

"Yes. What is it, Wonderbolt? Never seen a draconequus before?" Discord clicked his claws and a glass of chocolate milk with purple whipped cream and glitter on top appeared next to him. He smirked as grabbed the cup.

"B-b-but...I thought he was encased in stone. The last time I saw him, he was a statue at the Gala." Soarin uneasily walked next to Princess Twilight. "And you're evil!"

"Urg! I'm not evil. I'm mischievous. Completely different. What Sombra and Nightmare Moon wanted was evil, I just simply wanted a bit of chaos in the world. Oh, and do I look stone to you?"

"...but...how?"

"Fluttershy reformed him." Pinkie Pie skipped up to Discord's cloud and instantly took a giant bite out of it. Discord glared at the pink pony. He murmured to himself before clicking his claws again. Another pink cloud appeared. Pinkie's big blue eyes lit up with happiness. She looked up at the god of chaos. Her mouth bulging with cotton candy.

"Pinkie. You must stop eating the furniture. It's bad enough with me eating the books." He chuckled. Twilight gazed up as he mentioned eating books. She hugged the bookcases. In fear of Discord eating her precious books.

"O-okay then. But how did you stop the guards? The last thing I remember was bright pink light." The extreme flier sat beside the assassin. Who was now talking to her orange friend.

"Well, the pink light you saw was Twilight teleporting. And you lot fell out of the sky. I guess that you fell due to both exhaustion and shock. The guards continued to go towards you and attack. Discord caught you and turned the guards into potted peonies." Celestia explained. She pointed to the five pots of flowers on the window sill. Three of which were pure white, one purple and one blue.

"Thank you Discord. May I be forever in your debt and service." Rainbow bowed to the spirit of chaos.

"Yes, well, you dragged me out of Canterlot for a reason. Now what is the reason?" He asked.

"Well, the Pegasi Lords have raged war among Equestria."

"Oh haven't they always. The Pegasi Lords are so annoying. They're constantly thinking they're right." Discord huffed. He hated the Lords. Hated them so much. Back when Discord, Celestia and Luna were young, the Lords used to constantly badger them. One time they forced Luna to perform a solar eclipse. And Discord to turn Canterlot into cloud. But he turned them into fluffly pink clouds instead. Also, he turned Cloudsdale into a floating pink city. All the clouds rained chocolate milk. While he and the young princesses laughed at this, the Lords attacked various places. Afterwards, Celestia and Luna's parents, Queen Saturn and King Neptune had settled the Lords. But not for long. When the King and Queen were assassinated-not by The Creed-The Lords tried again. But the Solar Sisters kept them at bay.

"Yes well, I have assassinated tw...three of the Lords." Rainbow quickly changed her wording. She had only killed two as Soarin had accidentally killed the third. But the young Wonderbolt didn't want everypony to know that he had committed a murder. So he let Rainbow take the credit.

"Three?" Rarity piped up. "You only killed two."

"I killed the first Lord many many years ago. A week after I took lead of The Creed. Sir Ice Wing."

"Okay, you've killed three, there's three left. What do you want me to do?" Discord inquired. Rather confused why the Princess of Magic dragged him away from his activities.

"We need all the help we can get. We have no other options. Rainbow and Soarin can't go outside. The Guards are everywhere. The treaty has nothing. The-"

"Treaty? What treaty?"

"Oh! You don't know about the treaty, do you?" Twilight's horn lit up as an old scroll hovered through the air. She passed it over to Discord, who held it in his own golden aura. A set of black spectacles appeared in front of his yellow and devil red eyes. He scanned the paper. His chin resting on his paw.

"Celestia, oh why would you sign a treaty between these fools, I don't know. You are such a idiot." He remarked. Celestia growled at the draconequus. Glaring at him but said nothing. "Blah blah blah. Blah blah. Give us rights
Ruling our own kind. Not under the rule of Celestia. Oh my. Now this is interesting." He murmured to himself.

"What? What is it?"

Discord opened his mouth to speak, but was quickly interrupted as a white pegasus stallion in golden armour burst through the doors.
"Your highnesses! The Lords are attacking Ponyville!! The Air Force!! The Assassins of The Creed!!" He yelled. Rainbow's eyes shrunk to the size of pinpricks. Her assassins were with the Lords.

"Get Shining Armour this instant. Get him to bring his squad from Canterlot and surround the whole of Ponyville. Also, get Lieutenant Midnight and her patrol. And the rest of the night guard. Not a single pegasus guard shall get through. Understand?" Celestia ordered.

"Yes ma'am." The stallion slammed the door shut.

"Celestia!!" Rainbow wailed.

"Rainbow? What is it?" The white alicorn asked in shock from the pegasus' sudden outburst.

"Tell your guards to not harm my assassins!! Not a single assassin should be killed!"

"I'm sorry Rainbow. But your assassins are not under your rule. The Lords still believe your are still in that horrible prison."

"Then that must mean I've got to get them back." Rainbow stood up and trotted to the door. But a light blue aura surrounded her.

"Rainbow Miriam Dashery. You must understand. If you die now, the Creed will have no option but to follow the Lords." Cadence hushed.

"I don't bloody care. My assassin levels are low. If any more die, Equestria won't have it's highest defense."

"I agree."

"So do ah."

All the ponies and the draconequus turned to the now standing farmer and fashionista. Now beaming with confident grins.

"What?"

"Rainbow. You have done so much for us, dear. Fighting for us. For our freedom to live. And also being our friend." Rarity smiled.

"And we wanna repay ya. Ya've been goin' on about ya assassins disappearin'. So, ah an' Rare would like ta become part of Tha Creed. Ta serve ya and Equestria."

Everyone stared at the two ponies, gobsmacked. Eyes widened in surprise. The aura around Rainbow disappeared and the pegasus trotted towards her friends.

"Are you sure? You have families and jobs. Are willing to risk it?"

"If it means we contribute to saving Equestria, then yes."

"Wha she said."

Rainbow smiled.
"Very well then. We shall go through all the yip yap later. What are your main aspects in defending and fighting?"

"Ah'm pretty good when it comes ta hoof ta hoof combat. Strong as well. One punch an they will be down." Applejack flicked her Stetson as she smirked. The prismatic pegasus nodded and turned to the pearl unicorn.

"I'm a very good archer. My uncle used to teach me when I was young. And my skills as a fashion designer has made my movements more elegant and swift." Rarity grinned.

"Brilliant. I'm still not sure about letting close friends in, but, the more the merrier."

The others just stared at them. Not even moving.

"Okay. But if you would all listen, I could tell you that the treaty states-" Discord was interrupted again as screams erupted outside. Crying, wailing, smashing. Clashing and clanging.

"Attack everypony!! Attack all!! Capture them all!!" A stallion bellowed.

"Protect the Princesses!! Protect Ponyville at all cost!! Do not let your guard down!!" Another pony shouted. Who was instantly recognised as the Captain of The Royal Guard and Prince of The Crystal Empire, Shining Armour. Cadence and Twilight shared a look of concern. Twilight didn't want her brother hurt and Cadence wanted her husband safe.

"Come on. No time to waste. Tueri et serviemus. Hac pugna vincat." Rainbow ordered. Soarin trotted up to the pegasus mare. Everyone stood up as they opened the door. Ignoring the draconequus at the back. Attempting to get their attention.

"Eck! Ponies! Something important comes up and you push it away. Maybe some chaos will get your attention." Discord grinned evilly. "I'm not evil. Just mischievous." He whispered as he disappeared in a flash of golden light. "Who doesn't love a bit of chaos every so often?"

And congratulations to whoever guessed Rarity for being an assassin. I will not change my mind. To Fluttershy or Pinkie. Fluttershy is too gentle and caring to kill and Pinkie will probably kill herself by playing with the bracer.

So no. No changing minds. AJ and Rarity will stay. Oh the whole Rarity and archer stuff, I got inspiration from an old old comic from ages ago. Where Rarity does archery in her spare time. And I know AJ and Rarity have jobs and siblings, but they will be part time assassins. Like Bonbon. Who only goes on missions when available. Not like Lyra and Rainbow who go when called.

So I hope you like this chapter. I say about only three or four chapters left till the end of the story.
