The cyan pegasus trotted through town and by the park. Everypony stayed inside after the event earlier. Still shook up and scared. The mare stopped abruptly as she heard a faint shout.

"...ainbow...ash!"

The prismatic pegasus twizzled round to see a yellow mare trotting up to her. Rainbow snorted and began to walk away again.

"Rainbow Dash!" She yelled again. She galloped up to the mare. "Rainbow. Stop."

But the blue mare did not listen and continued to walk. Spitfire groaned and flared out her wings.

Rainbow stumbled back as the golden coloured mare stood right in front of her.

"Rainbow. Stop." She huffed.

"What is it?" Rainbow grumbled. Looking away.

"I'm sorry."

Rainbow's head turned towards the pegasus in front of her.
"What?"

"I'm sorry. For shouting at you."

"I forgive you."

Spitfire slowly nodded accepting the forgiveness. Surprised that the cyan mare forgave her so quickly. Although she would rather spit at the pegasus in front of her, Soarin would just push her further away. She decided to walk with the assassin towards the cloud house. Feeling very awkward in the silence, Spitfire decided to strike up a conversation.

"Soo...did you find anything to stop the war?" She asked uneasily.

"Nope."

"What's going to happen then?"

"I'll kill them." Rainbow said blandly.

"What?! You're going to kill the Lords?!" Spitfire shouted.

"Brilliant. Shout it to the world why don't you." The assassin mumbled, trotting away towards her cloud house. Which was now coming into view.

"B-but you can't kill the Lords."

"Why not?"

"They....they...you...you will be sent to that deep prison....What's it called?"

"Yeah. It's not like you care. You hate my guts."

"Yeah...wait what?!"

"I can tell. The way you act around me. And the way you act around Soarin." Rainbow turned to Spitfire, who was now starting to blush. "You love him."

The captain opened her mouth to speak, but quickly closed it. Her cheeks began to burn as she blushed. Her cheeks a very dark shade of red as it showed clearly despite the darkness.

"The way you defended him. The way you always want to be close to him."

"I...I....damn. You're good....but...do you know that...Soarin...likes..."

"Me. I know. He told me."

"What?!"

"Earlier. He told me in the Everfree Forest." Rainbow began to trot away again. Leaving the shocked pegasus behind her.

"And what did you say to him?"

"Nothing special. I said I'll consider him as a friend and nothing more."

"B-b-but...he admitted his feelings to you. And you turned him down." Spitfire began to growl.

"Kinda. I didn't turn him down. Just said we will be friends. And nothing else."

Spitfire jumped up and attempted to push the rainbow mare, but landed face first into dirt as Rainbow moved. She lifted up her now sore face and spluttered up dirt that she swallowed.

"Really? I'm an assassin. You think that I wouldn't know what you were going to do." Rainbow laughed as she fluttered away from the fallen pegasus. Spitfire's anger rose to breaking point. Her golden coloured wings shot up and in a flash, she zoomed towards Rainbow. Rainbow Dash only had enough time to turn around. The two mares fell to ground. One growling and on top of other.

"You are a real bitch!!"

"Says the spoilt brat."

"Shut up!!" Spitfire screamed. Although Rainbow could just kick her off and easily over power her, Spitfire was a innocent pony. And anyway, Rainbow wanted to see where Spitfire was going with this.

"Soarin is a good stallion. A kind stallion. A caring and loving stallion. With a big goofy smile and a love for pie. He loves apple pie. He loves flying around in the sky after performances. Without a care in the world. And the wind through his mane. He puts effort into everything he does and cares for everyone around him. And he's loyal to everypony. And that's why I love him." Spitfire choked her tears as she described the stallion she loved. Her eyes tightly shut and her voice hoarse from shouting. "But...he doesn't love me...only you. Why does he love you?! What's so special about you?!"

Rainbow just gave a reassuring smile to the crying pegasus.
"Love is a dangerous, confusing thing, Spitfire. It's a painful emotion."

"Shut up!! How would you know what love is like?! I've been used in every relationship. Nopony loved me for me. Only for my bank account!!" Spitfire cried more tears as she remembered her past relationships.

"I would know. I've had my heart ripped out and thrown at the ground before. And then I found that one pony to make me happy. I've never felt like it before. And I loved him so much. But then....fate had it's own decisions. While I was recovering in hospital, my brother killed him. I wasn't even there to be with him. To hold him while he took his final breath." Tears filled Rainbow's sparkling rose eyes. But she held them back. "But he told me, he told me not to be upset. Not to let his death drag me down. And thanks to my friends, I managed to bounce back. Well, as far as I could."

Spitfire blinked back her tears as she stared at the assassin below her.
"That...that gives you no reason to act like you do! You didn't have the right to push Soarin away!!" Spitfire raised her hoof and slapped Rainbow hard, across the cheek. Drawing blood on her cyan fur. Rainbow wasn't shocked by this action. She just rolled her eyes.

"Listen, Spitfire. I've got to go." She pushed the crying pegasus aside and began to walk away again.

"You stupid pathetic mare!! I wish you stayed dead when I drowned you!!" Spitfire shouted, but quickly regretted it. Rainbow stopped immediately.

"What?"

Spitfire didn't speak. Just whimpered. She didn't see the stallion behind her. The shocked stallion.

"You were the one that tried to kill her!? You?!" Soarin whispered. "I thought you were my friend, Spitfire."

The golden pegasus turned around.
"Soarin? I'm so sorry."

"You tried to kill somepony, Spitfire!!"

"I'm sorry."

"Not just anypony. But an assassin. A master assassin. Leader of The Creed." Rainbow pointed out. "And that is a high crime. Punishment can be from imprisonment to death."

Spitfire began to cry freely again.
"I don't want to die." She whispered.

"Well. You deserve it." Soarin snapped.

"But, you will not be punished."

"What?!" Soarin looked up to Rainbow.

"I've got bigger things on my plate than dealing with you. So I will dismiss this. For now. But, if you commit anymore crimes, you will be severely punished." Rainbow trotted away. Spitfire looked to Soarin with sorrow filled eyes. He stared daggers at the mare.

"I hate you." He growled as he fluttered away. "And don't come back. I don't want to see you."

Spitfire collapsed to the ground. Crying. Her emotions everywhere. Anger, sorrow, hurt.
"I'm sorry, Soarin. I'm sorry." She covered her face with her hooves. "I'll kill you, Rainbow. I will. And Soarin will be mine." She hissed through her tears.

Author's Notes:

Sorry again for the late update. I'm feeling really ill right now. And I can't sit up without feeling dizzy.
