Blueblood had been saying that same line over and over to himself on many a lonely night for countless years. But tonight, that one more drink may be his last. Nobility ain't all it's cracked up to be. Sometimes, having everything you could ever possibly want just doesn't fill the hole in your heart. A hole alcohol can.

Note that the feelings of suicidal depression and alcoholism in this story are experiences I myself have had to go through in the past. Luckily I got over it, but many others out there haven't.
